Team Wyss is very experienced, knowledgeable, and aggressive on their buyers behalf. Julie repeatedly went above and beyond to ensure I had all of the information and documents I needed to make any decisions. I relied heavily on Julies experience in pinpointing the specifics of the offer, and what she believed would have a good chance of being accepted. After submitting the offer, Julie was in constant communication and I felt confident that I had the latest updates at all times. We worked with Mark Wyss on purchasing an additional home. My husbands dream home. There were so many great things about Mark. But I will give you some of the most important to us. Our purchase felt personal to Mark. From speaking to us for the first time, he understood how much we wanted this home. He did EVERYTHING he could to help that become a reality for us. Julie and her team are incredible. They provided white glove service every step of the way, and went well above and beyond what was expected. Due to the unexpected death of a loved one, we were putting in a position to have to sell our home. It was a highly emotional situation for us, and Julie and her team handled everything with such incredible care and understanding. The open house host, Kyle Wyss, made an impression on us and provided us with information about the team and their success in the Silicon Valley real estate market. Couple of months after buying a new home, we decided to sell our old home recently. We had used Julie Wyss Real Estate team for buying our new home and based on the amazingly positive experience, using them to sell our old home was a no-brainer. We used Mark and Julie a couple of years ago to sell our home in Menlo Park, and when it came time to sell my parents’ home just a few blocks away, there was no doubt who to turn to. The home was rented for several years and Mark consulted with us about the timing and preparation for over a year in advance. After the tenants vacated, the strategy was clear as to how best prepare the home with attention to making it warm, inviting and presentable, but not overdoing it as the likely buyers would be remodeling it eventually. Our story might be different than most. We have not actually used Team Wyss for a real estate transaction, but we have asked their advice for our future sale. We did our due diligence to try to find the team that would be best positioned to help us when we do want to sell our San Jose home. Team Wyss met our qualifications. I just want to start by saying I had a wonderful experience with the Julie Wyss team. I am now a first time homeowner! The experience was quite daunting at first. Buying a house by myself [29F], coming from 8+ years of renting I didnt know where to start. I emailed Julie and she set up a video chat with her and Mark. We started by going over all of the home buying details such as how do inspections work, what is an appraisal, how will we view houses, what do we do for an offer letter, what actions do I need to take for a preapproval, and what Im looking for in a house. At the end of the call I felt prepared for an exciting journey. Every day Id get a listing notice from Mark, and Julie would highlight ones that she felt I would really like. Getting appointments to see houses was easy. Bianca was the one who normally did all of the appointment setup working around my busy tech schedule. She was a great help really getting to know my preferences and what was truly important to me, passing back to Julie for a personalized searching experience. While I was still fairly active on Redfin/Zillow, she would send me houses I had missed. The home I landed on, she was able to see the pre-listing so I could get in to see it before it was publicly listed - sqeezed in just before a planned vacation. All in all I made a total of four offers over 6 months before finally finding my home. As first-time home buyers, we were quite nervous and unsure of how to go about making an offer with the competitive housing market. I found Julies name at the top of Zillows agent finder and set up an appointment. A death in the family made it necessary to sell a home to settle debts in the estate. Given the pandemic, we had no idea how the market was reacting and or what obstacles we would face in the process.We interviewed three realtors and there was no contest. We met with Julie and Mark (all masked and sitting outside) at the home. We explained that we were willing to invest in updating the home that was purchased new in the 60s. While there had been some updating the house was woefully out of date.Julie and Mark took copious notes and followed up immediately with a list of recommendations that would deliver the highest ROI, along with a proposed timeline and the process. Mark was a referral from a friend. We met in person a couple of years ago and shopped loosely. Then the pandemic hit and our work conditions changed. Mark checked in regularly to see if he could be helpful. Once our work arrangements were clear with our employers, we checked back in with Mark and we immediately started searching for our new home. Our criteria was wide to start with and changed several times, but Mark was fluid and adjusted with each change. Once we identified homes of interest, Mark was quick to act and had a good understanding of the market condition and what it takes to be successful for his clients. Once we were in contract, Mark was helpful with additional inspections and a clear strategy to renegotiate with the sellers.
