We couldnt have asked for a better experience with our realtor Tristyn. As first-time buyers and newly parents, we were nervous about the whole process, but our realtor made everything seamless. They were incredibly patient, understanding, and knowledgeable about the market and what we were looking for. They guided us through every step, from finding the perfect home to navigating the paperwork. We recently sold our home through Josh Barker Real Estate. Brian Mogensen was our listing agent and part of an amazing, coordinated real estate team. In the little town of Cottonwood that I wanted to live in. She was with us every step of the way recommended, change mortgage so we can get a good mortgage deal. Being first time home buyers it was important to get just the right mortgage. Elise even kept in contact with us after we purchased the home to make sure everything was just right and if we had any more questions or needed any help with anything. I had Mae Saini as the Realtor for my first home purchase. She went above and beyond the expectations I had going into the whole process. She was patient with how picky my wife and I were. Called josh and told them that his sign was blocking me from seeing traffic coming down the road and that he needed to move it back 10’ farther. After they refused to come out i took it down so i could see traffic. They came back out and put it in the same spot. I worked with Lacie Mafredonia and despite her hard work ethic and attention to detail she failed to account for my loans when presenting me with a closing summary statement and ended up costing me more money than expected on the sale of my home. While she is a great person to work with her professionalism and intelligence is lacking as evident with this review. As of this review she is relatively new to real estate and I’m sure she will learn from her mistakes and improve in the future but her mistakes reflect on Josh barker real estate as a whole for hiring her as well as her work. Like most White people in the area she is undereducated and overpaid. Her assistant is often oblivious with little knowledge of why she is reaching out, subtracting a star from this review.

Kristina Randle was my realtor on my recent home purchase which we just closed. My experience with her was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! We had hit some snags along the way on my end and she was supportive the entire way as well as working very closely with my loan officer to make sure the home-buying process and escrow went as smoothly as possible. KRISTIN ROSS is the best real estate agent I’ve worked with. I was a real estate myself and she has gone above and beyond any agent who worked with me or that I’ve dealt with. I started working with her in September of 2021 thinking I would be moving to Redding in January 2022. She made time for me even when she was booked. She would see me after her appointments. She blocked out chunks of time to show me places and even took me back to the house I really liked 5 times without having an attitude about it, because I can be a little annoying. Then it turned out I couldn’t move when I thought and she sent me all the new listings and would call me or text me periodically to see how I was doing. Finally, when I knew for sure I was ready to buy I told her I was coming to Redding to find a house to buy. I let her know the homes I wanted to see and she told me about one I hadn’t seen. After taking me to a few homes, she took me to the one she told me about and that was it! That was the one I said! We went back to it a couple times and I told her I wanted to buy it. I had to go back to LA, but she negotiated some things for me which I am very happy about. There were some things that I needed to follow up on, but Kristen would text me and say I followed up on this and I will keep following up until it gets done. She has done this numerous times without my having to ask. If I have any issues speaking with the company I’m buying my house from, she calls them immediately to take care of it. I told her I really needed to know the measurements in my new house so I could plan to see what furniture I will keep and what I won’t, and the owner wouldn’t give me the blue prints so she measured it for me, and saved me a trip up there (8 hours). I couldn’t believe she offered to do that for me. I am in escrow and she always checks on me to see how I’m doing because I get very anxious. She also knows I am a very, very picky person and she is picky too and if she sees something wrong or thinks something could be better, she handles that too, but without my asking. She knows me so well by just paying attention to me and I can’t even begin to explain how amazing that is. She is very professional yet at the same time, she is very and personable. She not only helped me purchase my new home, but she has been a pleasure to interact with through this entire process. She is trustworthy and patient. She is an excellent negotiator and closer. She is a very good person all around, and I really like her and am so thankful for her help. I couldn’t have asked for a better real estate agent. I would recommend her to anyone and I’ve already told everyone I know that she is a truly amazing real estate agent and they should her if they need to buy or sell. Josh Barker was recommended to us by friends and we were more than satisfied with how Josh and his staff handled the sale of my wifes house. Josh was very thorough in his initial walkthrough, giving us a list of all the things we needed to do to get maximum value for the house. He also suggested that we NOT do some things that might make the house sell faster but not add any value to the house. The house has solar panels, which meant that any buyer would have to assume the solar contract and Josh is very experienced in getting buyers to assume the solar contracts. Hands down, best experience ever! On a brief visit to Redding to determine if I would accept a position to relocate I drove by a home that peeked my interest. It was almost 5pm and I was leaving the next day, but went ahead and called the listing office expecting no one to be available. To my surprise Ryan Green was not only willing to meet me on such short notice, but he spent several hours showing me multiple listings throughout Redding. Ryan quickly understood my likes, dislikes and what I truly needed in a home. I found a home I liked and still not being sure if I would be relocating, Ryan was willing to meet me again the following morning before my flight so I could see the house once more. I accepted the job and called Ryan right away, he negotiated all of our deal points and continued to be resource meeting with our inspector and appraiser when I was not able to fly in to town to participate. Our home buyers agent was Mr. Ryan Green from this brokerage. We see that another reviewer thinks Mr. Green is the best, but that was FAR from our (sellers) experience. Very impressive unprofessional, lackadaisical style regarding our dealings. Some of the memorable, pointedly unsatisfactory performance on the part of Mr. Green includes: Put us (seller) out of contract twice because he did not get paperwork done in a timely manner. Several promises to provide our agent with crucial updated paperwork today went unfulfilled until 2-4 days later. Did not forward requested inspection reports done by seller to his client when initially provided by seller. When cornered about delayed paperwork, often blamed brokerage staff, never taking even a small bit of ownership regarding the situation. Little to no communication with sellers agent as stages of the sale proceeded. Title company did not receive updated closing date paperwork signed a week prior to sellers signing and had to directly request it from Joshs office at that time. The crowning glory was the gall to ask if the buyers could move in prior to closing even after already being told no, buyers request to bring some of their possessions to the property (a month ago) is denied. He apparently failed to get a clue. Theres more, but this provides sufficient flavor of his unprofessional way of doing business. We regret Mr. Green will receive our money as a commission for unethical behavior and a sale he certainly didnt work very hard to facilitate. Mr. Barker might want to reconsider having someone around that so unfavorably represented his brokerage.

I was browsing on Facebook and saw a house that interested me. I wasnt actively looking to sell my home or buy a new home. In order to look at the house I had to give them my information. When you give a reason as to why you are looking there is no option for casually looking. Immediately I started receiving calls and text messages from Taylor.
