The prices and tests changed twice (doubled) in a span of a day without any of the symptoms changing or seeing the doctor. Once can be understandable but twice is ridiculous practice. Feels more like car sales. Its also interesting how all the reviews are so close to each other timewise which I hadnt notice before. Well I learned my lesson.

Dr. Vansuch spent a good amount of time discussing options for eyewear, contacts, surgery, and the future for the various complications of my eyes. Our family has been coming here for about 20 years. The entire staff is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The eye exams, using the latest technology are thorough and prescription glasses and or lenses arrive when promised. Any questions are addressed promptly. The staff take all the time that’s needed to help with new frames selection as well. I highly recommend Dr. Joe, Tom and the entire staff!

The Dr. and staff are excellent! I was met with friendly staff when I arrived and immediately checked in. Each step of the eye tests were explained to me and when I saw the Dr - he was so personable. I have been going to Dr. Vansuch for years now. I have tried twice to go to some else cheaper and I have Always been sorry. You get what you pay for in this case. The kids in the office are always very nice. The Dr. Is great. Nice sense of humor and very personable. The gentleman that does your glasses, sizes and orders the lens and frames is very nice too and is always trying to give you the best deal he can. He will sit with you until you are happy. From when you walk in the door to leaving is a good experience. Very rare for this day and time.

I would never give them my business again. Two years ago, I had a great experience, this year, however, the entire experience was a nightmare. There was a problem with my Insurance. Instead of calling the Customer Service number on my Insurance Card that would have resolved the entire issue, which I repeatedly requested, I was told their Insurance Expert was not there and the employee refused to call. I was told they could not see me that day unless I wanted to pay out of pocket, or, reschedule for another day after they had researched the problem. Even the Doctor was not caring or accommodating enough to suggest his employee call the number I had requested. I decided to leave and try another Vision Center. In stark contrast, when I contacted Americas Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, a business I had never been to, the employee there not only called the number on my Insurance Card, but, she actually requested to be able to call and try to help me. She went the extra mile for me, and, I will be a loyal customer from now on. They are also technologically superior to Vansuch. I was able to fill out the necessary paperwork over the Internet Link they sent me making things faster and more convenient. I would never recommend Vansuch except maybe to an enemy.

His staff and associates are very professional, friendly, and helpful. Arrived for my 4:00 appointment scheduled weeks in advance and was seen at 4:20. During my visit the doctor ordered a retinal scan and I wasnt made aware of any additional cost until my visit was over. I took an eye exam on my lunch during the week that was super quick (it was only me and one other in there though). I didn’t have time to stay and search for glasses so before I did my exam I scanned for glasses I liked then Ellie was very helpful with quotes over the phone a couple days later. I don’t have the funds right now to purchase glasses so I wanted a quote to save up. She gave me all the details I needed to know and an estimated price for the different materials on my glasses. When she was busy she was honest and asked if she could call me back when they were slower which I appreciated - I’d rather neither of us feel rushed. Super helpful!

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called as a new patient. The front desk was helpful and Dr. Joe was very friendly and quickly got me in and out. With a large selection of glasses Tom helped me pick out a great pair (even the wife liked) and was able to get them in my hands the next day since my glasses were unusable. The staff and doctor were pleasant but they did not hit the mark on my contact lens prescription. I requested multi focal contacts lenses but when I received them I still could not see up close. I expressed this at the office. They still told me to take them home and try them for two weeks. The drive home was scary, not being able to see properly. I called them back to express my concerns and offered to give me single vision contacts. I told them that was not acceptable. I’m still left with paying my copay, with no product. My insurance company is also being billed for this.PS - Make sure you don’t write a review for them before you receive the product and are truly satisfied. I received multiple text messages to write a reviews but I did not have my glasses or contacts lenses.

Very nice office and Doctors and staff were very professional and kind. After thorough eye testing and consult with Dr. Vansuch, I was greeted by other staff to help me with eye glasses and contact lenses. Part of the exam process was dilation, which I had to refuse. Its been my experience in the past that you must have someone with you to drive you home afterwards. I was alone. The procedure is scheduled for another day.

Very disappointed!! I’ve been using this office for years for my family.. I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago for my son to do a contact fitting exam and it was first available afternoon appointment. We show up, waited 15 minutes then the employee comes to tell me that we can’t proceed with the exam because they don’t have trial contacts for his prescription. He just did his vision exam less than four months ago so they should’ve checked their available stock before the appointment. Someone just didn’t do their job and checked before the customer come for no reason!!! Waisted my time, has to plan my day accordingly and nothing was done. This is very unprofessional…

I have had some weird things happen to my eyes from a metal shaving in one, to 5th nerve palsy which caused me to have double vision for 4 months, and I had Bell’s Palsy which kept my eye from blinking, and Dr. Vansuch had me wear a moisturizing contact, which kept my eye moist and kept it comfortable until it was able to blink again. (He wasnt let past the front desk and canceled his appointment)If youre paranoid about Covid, everything is sterilized with alcohol wipes before you touch them. After you try on display frames, you set them aside and they sterilize them after youve worn 20 pairs.All the machines taking photos of your eyes took maybe 10 minutes. Exam with the doctor was quick and took around 5. No pupil dilation was involved.

Been going Dr Vansuch since I was 18. 30 plus years. He is the only doctor who was honest enough and told me my daughters medically necessary contacts were covered by insurance. My daughter was being treated by a “pediatrician optometrist” who wanted to charge me over $1200 for her contacts. I took my daughter to see dr Vansuch for a second opinion, he was amazing and informed me my daughter would be covered 100% by insurance. I could not be happier. The whole office is top notch.
