We had an absolute amazing experience with True Local! We worked with both Joseph and Ben, who were both kind and professional, but most of our communication and work was done directly with Ben. He was patient with us as we navigated this crazy housing market. Ben took his time searching for homes that were in our budget, had what we were looking for, and were in an area that would benefit our growing family. We could not have found and purchased our home without the knowledge Ben had and shared with us. We had such a positive experience and are now happy living in our first home! Joseph and his team are superlative! We have used his service to sell one house in Carlsbad and purchase another in Oceanside. His advice brought us a buyer for the Carlsbad property in two days at a price exceeding what we thought we would get. He streamlined the complicated process of moving, sprucing, staging, presenting and closing the sale. In purchasing our home in Oceanside, he locked in a good deal in the presence of those bidding higher on the property. He helped us secure excellent financing and saved us thousands of dollars in processing and insurance fees. Being new property, several things have needed to be corrected. Joseph has diligently stayed with us all the way with recommendations and advocacy. Being a first-time home buyer is extremely exciting, but can be very overwhelming. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Joseph as our Real Estate Agent. Joseph eased us into the process and was available to answer all of our questions. He helped us focus our search, view any property we were even slightly interested in, and talk through next steps when we were ready to make an offer. Tracy was great with all of the escrow related documents, daily requests for information and touched base with us frequently to make sure all our questions were answered. Joseph has been in the industry over 18 years and it shows through his trusted vendors, contacts, and transparency. We were very pleased with the recommendation he gave us to work with Nick Maglio of Guaranteed Rate for our loan.One of the stressful parts to our home buying experience was finding someone to take over our apartment lease when we closed on our new house. Conveniently, Joseph has his own property management company that handled the whole process. He set us up with Marla who was fantastic with all of the logisitics. This is the second house that Joseph has sold for us – he sold an investment property and this was our personal property. He’s amazing – he’s on top of every detail and he goes the extra mile. He offers over and above what other real estate agents offer – you feel like you’re working with a family member – his integrity is evident in all that he does. We had already moved to another state, and Joseph really went over and above, helping us get the place in order, getting it stage, and taking charge of the sale. He had several offers for us the day after the open house, and we could get over ask and get the house sold quickly, with absolutely no hitches in the escrow process (which is where things sometimes fall apart when you’re selling or buying a house). Joseph really offers concierge service and makes you feel like you are his key priority always. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Ive used a few property managers over the years and far and away Joseph has been the best one that Ive worked with. He has done an outstanding job in dealing with tenants to both meet their expectations and not allow them to become unreasonable.Recently, he helped me in the sale of a condo that included getting renovation work done before the sale. I purchased my home in 2016 with Joseph as my realtor. Through the years he continued to help me if I had any questions about the housing market or anything else, always responding quickly. I enjoyed getting his market reports through email as well. Needless to say, when I decided to sell my house, I didnt think twice about having him and his team handle everything, from start to finish which wasnt long. They guided me through the entire process from getting my home ready for the beautiful photos taken for the MLS, Zillow, etc., listed it as coming soon, and by the time the Open House came, my house had an offer. Joseph and the team at The ArendsenGroup (Hi Sarah!) are amazing! While helping us sell a home in Oceanside Joseph went out of his way to help us find a new agent in Washington state. Joseph and his team were able to manage a few hiccups with our sale, flooding in San Diego and made sure both transactions went smoothly. I can’t imagine that a home sale in San Diego and a purchase in a Washington state with a VA loan is easy to manage but they got us through! Three years later we decided to move back to California and (after mom) he was the first person we called! He and Sarah helped us through selling/purchasing at the same time (again) and worked with our budget and needs in San Diego. Poor (amazing) Sarah was able to guide me through what seemed like a million homes and my picky nature and found us the home we’d bring our children home too :-) The team worked hard to get us through what in reality is a complicated process and made it seem easy. Just need to start by saying it is extremely challenging to find a realtor especially in such a crowded Market with all of them making promises that its hard to believe any of them would possibly be able to keep. My wife and I worked with Sarah Lane last year in order to find and ultimately purchase our new family home for our family of 6. This was made all the more difficult by the fact that we really were racing the clock as my wife was 6 months pregnant and we were trying to avoid nesting at a current home that was already in escrow to be sold so to say the deck was stacked against us was bit of an understatement.
