I just bought my first home, with John’s help it was a fantastic experience. He handled every obstacle thrown our way, shielding me the stress from it, but still keeping me in the loop. I can’t thank him enough for landing me my dream condo at an amazing price (and furnished!)! John has a way of making the complicated process of home buying straightforward and fun! My best friend recommended John when I wanted to sell my home. Through a weird set of circumstances and odd choices, John went from my seller’s agent only to pivot selling another property, one more problematic. It was a whiplash that John weathered with his graceful patience, expert guidance, and his reassuring calm.He succeeded in both roles, with flying colors, and he was able to navigate the shift and he negotiated an amazing deal on all fronts.I cannot recommend John enough. We met John White through friends who had worked with him in their home purchases. We were new to the area and still considering a full time move. John was patient and listened to our initial thoughts about a home in Palm Springs/Cathedral City/Rancho Mirage. Just over 18 months ago, we were walking in our neighborhood and noticed a home for sale that was superbly presented by John White. It sold and closed in a couple of weeks. We made a mental note that if we ever sold our home, John was the person we would call and we did!My wife says it best, John was exceptional. Better than we could ever have hoped for. John guided us perfectly, from the correct listing amount, and marketing plan, including knowing how to stage our home perfectly, well, he happens to have a well renowned Palm Springs designer on team.Our buyer also had high praise, we have purchased a number of properties, usually theres a lot of tension and stress, but not with this purchase. When we decided to sell our vacation property in Palm Springs, we did some research and initially narrowed it down to three realtors. Our first meeting was with John White and after meeting with him we cancelled our appointments with the other two. It was obvious from the start that he was the right realtor for us. As confident as we were at the outset, John actually ended up exceeded our expectations.It’s immediately obvious that John is extremely knowledgeable and is an expert on the market in Palm Springs. He has a knack for understanding when to give advice, when to take a backseat and when to intervene. He is very proactive and advocates for his clients at every turn. We are not local and he was able to make the entire process seamless and easy. John arranged the staging and photography and the pictures turned out beautifully and were done within days. The house was listed very quickly and brought in a ton of interest. The house was shown regularly through open houses and private showings on request. We were updated on everything throughout the process- always feeling like we knew what was going on and never feeling bombarded with information. John has the rare ability to walk this line perfectly.We did not have to ask for anything, it was all just HANDLED and handled really WELL. I recently worked with John on the purchase of a 2nd vacation home in Palm Springs. My adjectives to describe John: knowledgeable, honest, upfront, available, warm, calming and patient. While the patient aspect in terms of time wasnt required for me (I bought within 2 weeks of working with him), he was incredibly patient with my analytical approach to buying as well as occasional freak outs. John White, and his group, sold our house in Palm Springs last year (2021). My wife and I were far away in our summer home when the decision was made to sell. We asked John to handle the sale in our absence.I must say we were a bit apprehensive since we couldnt be available during the bidding process. John handled it with such professionalism that it made the event a sweet success. John handled the bidding from start to finish., giving us sound advice on what he felt the house was worth, and the market would pay, and where to begin the process in fixing that price. It turned out to be a price that we felt was more than could be expected to be paid., yet, John, and his team, carried through and that was the price we received! Everything was handled with little input from us other than saying yes or no. John and his team were top notch in their professionalism and in their knowledge and in the handling of the county and city ordinances. This left us feeling that everything was handled correctly and legally, and so it was. Johns character showed through in all of our contacts with him. Buying a house is stressful at any time. Buying a house in Palm Springs while we were living in New York added another level of stress we didnt need. The one thing we did need was an awesome agent who could make it all easy and wonderful and we found that in John. We met John through a friend who insisted we call him right away and a huge thanks to that friend for making the connection. John kept us calm, kept us on track and stood with us through the process. My husband and I met John at an Open House we went to in Palm Springs. The house wasnt for us, but we knew the broker -- John White -- was! He was open, honest, sincere, knowledgeable and we knew right away that we wanted to work with him. Once we started looking at houses with him, we knew we were right in picking him. One thing I loved about John right off the bat was that as soon as we walked into a house, he pointed out the homes assets, but also painstakingly pointed out its flaws. That showed me he wasnt just there to make a sale, he was there to find the right house for US. He took time to understand our likes and dislikes, our personal tastes and made sure there werent any surprises once we finally bought a house.He went above and beyond to find out the answers to questions we didnt know and he was always quick to respond to our many inquiries and requests.
