Great dentist and office! I have been coming here for 5 years now and they have always been amazing. From the front office staff to the assistants and hygienists, everyone is always friendly and professional. Super clean, up to date office with TVs each room. I am usually in and out within the hour as they are super quick for cleanings and exams. Would definitely recommend Dr. Cho to friends and family.

My first experience was really great. Dr. Cho took his time explaining the invisalign process. My 2nd day coming back and getting my teeth cleaned, checked with xrays was consisten as well. Caroline took her time cleaning and I can honestly say after so many years of experiencing different dentist and teeth cleaning she is by far the best! All my teeth feel clean silky smooth. Thank you all at Dr Chos office for the great service you provide to each customer.

Dr. Cho is a great dentist! Cares about your health and actually gives you accurate readings of what he sees on the x-rays. When doing work on my teeth, he actually took his time and made sure I was ok. Especially since I told him I had sensitive teeth, before starting the procedure. Highly recommended dentist if you’re looking for one after so many bad experiences.

It had been a time since my last check. Needless to say I was a bit anxious about seeing a dentist. The staff was really friendly and the facility was spotless. That made me feel better. Cleaning was thorough and the scan really shows what’s going on in there. Happy to report no cavities! But there’s work to be done. You only get 2 sets of teeth. And you’ll lose at least one of them guaranteed. I know Dr Cho and his staff are going to help me keep the ones I have in tip top. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

I had the best dentist experience with Dr. Cho. He is by far the best dentist I’ve been to and I’ve had some major dental work done in my lifetime. I went to him to get a few fillings and a crown and the whole time I was there I didn’t feel a thing- zero pain! The office is very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s bit of a drive for me to get to his office but totally worth it. Highly recommend Dr. Cho!

Dr. Cho is a very caring doctor. Dr. Cho would personally check in with his patients the day after the procedure.It also shows with his staff. Everyone is very friendly and professional.The office is really clean and organized. Found this place off yelp with amazing reviews. Had some what unpleasant experiences in the past with other dentists and decided to give this one a try. Staff was very friendly and helpful, explained things throughout if I didn’t understand. They took my insurance and it wasn’t expensive to pay out of pocket. After my second visit of getting my cavities filled I’m excited to say this will be mine and my families dentist going forward.

Dr. John Cho and his stellar team provide truly exceptional service! I have been a patient for almost 10 years now, even though I moved out of the Long Beach area 6 years ago. The commute to their office is absolutely worth the traffic a couple of times a year. My most recent visit was most helpful in better understanding why my gum line has receded in a couple of areas as well as how I can prevent a pre-cavity from turning into a full on cavity (floss & use fluoride toothpaste!). Had a minor emergency and they were very accommodating. Same day appoint for assessment and was able to set up the procedure the next day. Will be my dentist from now on. Definitely will recommend to family and friends. Dr. Cho talks you through the procedures and has a gentle touch. No pain during procedure and very minimal after during healing. Dr. Cho has implemented many safety protocols to protect both employees & patients.They have clean pens for signing in, sanitizer available in the lobby, waiting area is modified to provide proper distance between patients waiting for service.Clearly written guidelines posted in the lobby for newly implemented safety protocols (temperature check, sanitizer your hands before entering the treatment area & what is expected of you in protect you & everyone there etc.)Not only the guidelines are easy to understand & posted, every employee I encountered really follows the protocols. Only a hand full out of the 30 ish businesses that I could say their employees follows the protocols. The reviews “Don’t lie!” My experience as a new patient today was absolutely phenomenal. Ladies at the front desk were very polite, helpful, and professional. The facility was very clean, and organized (something I Love ❤️). The dental assistant was also very friendly, he kept me laughing and comfortable, while doing my cleaning. He also made sure I was okay, until the dentist was ready to see me, which was another PLUS! Mr. Cho was also fantastic! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. I didn’t leave feeling defeated like other places. I honestly felt at home. This is one of the “BEST” if not, the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office! Thank you guys. I had just moved back to Lakewood after living in South County for 15 years.. I’m one of those people who have over the top anxiety when I need dental checkups. I personally had a great experience with Dr Cho and his staff. I enjoyed my visit so much that I advised my boyfriend to get seen by his team for a cleaning and evaluation. However, he left his visit very upset and feeling very rushed; informing me that they did not even perform the cleaning nor did the Dentist even introduce himself when entering the room. I am very disappointed that he was treated this way and that I was the one who recommended him to get seen by this clinic in the first place.

Ive received cleanings, fillings, an implant, and a bridge and all without complications, and best of all, I got to choose what I wanted! Yep, guess its been at least 10 years of my association with this dental office. Word to the wise; know what your insurance covers and dont expect a discount. You get what you pay for. Need your teeth cleaned, a filling, veneers or an implant Call Dr. Chos office first. Dont know about dentures, but they can probably do that too. As it appears to me, their mission is to maintain or improve your dental health and preserve your smile.

I have this “phobia” about going to a dentist. I’ve had bad experiences in the past. I am so happy with Dr. Cho. At my initial visit, Dr. Cho was so thorough. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous prior to my first procedure. I couldn’t believe how gentle and fast he was. I even use to get super nervous if I just had to get my teeth cleaned. Im one of those people who are more afraid of the dentist than anything else. But I gotta tell you, this place is the sweetest, most gentle office Ive ever been to. I received one of their flyers and since I needed to get a cleaning sooner than later, I decided to try them. I received my dental cleaning from Caroline, and shes already become my favorite dental hygienist ever. Shes patient, kind, careful and so amazingly effective. Furthermore, Dr. Cho is such a professional. It turns out that I need some additional work, and he explained everything to me calmly and with no rush. Im no dentist, so I dont know anything, but I do like to ask questions and he answered each one of them to my satisfaction. I also want to point out that they have what I think its the latest tech. Dr Cho used a tiny camera to show me the condition of my teeth and gums on a giant screen. I had never seen that. It really puts into perspective the importance of dental health. Anyway, at the end, I was given an estimate and a game plan, with a discount! The office ladies are also super nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Chos office. Ill be seeing him soon.

It’s hard to find a good dentist these days without feeling they’re trying to over sell dental work. Well let me tell you, the place itself is clean and very nice. Dr Cho and his staff are amazing. I am a very anxious patient and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They played fun cooking shows and had headphones to help drown out the scary noises. They did an excellent job on my crowns which came out perfect. And they removed an impacted wisdom tooth. Of course my crown would break on a Friday when the office is now closed! Nonetheless I called the emergency number provided and reached Dr Cho immediately! I was very impressed he was able to view my chart on his phone and expressed I had a root canal on that tooth so I shouldn’t be in any discomfort! Good experience even with having to get a dag on tooth pulled. 😬 Dr. Cho is cool, direct in letting you know what your options are, and professional. He was gentle yet applied the right amount of pressure for my procedure. The staff is nice and helpful special shout out to Trina. The receptionists are welcoming and are willing to answer all of your questions with patience. The procedures my son and I have received have been exceptional. Dr. Cho and his team worked miraculously smooth from arranging cleaning the teeth to removal of a rotten tooth. The advice is sound for my gum disease that caused chaos in keeping my teeth healthy. The first visit has done both within an hour. No pain no stress. The staff is efficient and the treatment plan has now installed and scheduled in the near future. I found out about Dr. Chos office when I received a flyer special at home. I happen to be looking for a new dentist and dont have dental insurance. I scheduled my first visit for Xray, cleaning and Exam special at 10am. A couple days prior to my appointment, I had to schedule an appointment for 12noon in Orange County. I called the front desk to let them know if possible to be done with my appointment by 11:30 so i can make my next appointment. She said it shouldnt be a problem and to just give them a heads up when I check in. On day of appointment I did so. Office is very clean and they implemented very strict Covid safety. I only waited a few minutes and the front office girl kept me informed that it shouldnt be too long. Michelle they hygienist called me in shortly. I was impressed with all the high tech equipment and TV in each room. Michelle was super thorough with the cleaning and was so gentle and nice throughout, asking me if Im doing okay. After polish, Dr. Cho comes in. Very nice guy. He pulls up my teeth photos on the TV screen. Wow!!! Ive never actually seen this done at a dentist. Love that he can point out issues on my actual teeth. He was very personable and provided honest and clear communication. I was out of there by 11:25 and made it to my next appointment on time. Had my first appointment to have my teeth cleaned and get X-rays. The hygienist was incredibly gentle and thorough with the X-rays and cleaning. She made sure any buildup/plaque was removed, flossed my teeth and polished them to a shine.Dr. Cho was also thorough with his exam of my teeth. I had two small chips on my two front top teeth from where I had previously bumped them. Dr. Cho suggested to file them instead of doing a dental bond. Luckily the Doc was able to do it as a filling. Most comfortable filling I’ve had done despite it being the worst cavity I’ve had. Dr. Cho and his team are really good! So I figured I would make one last phone call and was super happy when they said they take my insurance and made an appointment within a few days.The office itself is clean and welcoming. I have been coming to him for several years and always felt welcomed. His staff always has positive vibes. But for some reason i felt like he no longer cared. he stated i was grinding my teeth and never suggested anything or asked questions on how to control, treat or stop it. I told him that my teeth were shifting and as he even did not hear me say anything. He told me to bring my retainer the next time i knew a bracket or wire broke and he just gave it back to me and said all was ok. I felt rushed by him but kudos to the ladies at the front desk and Caroline the hygienist! thankfully we are relocating. Hope all works out for him but he sure has changed. Lost his personal touch.

I love going to john dentist . Everybody is like friends or family to me. And they treat me really well. I did 2 implants last year. This time i take my daughter for implant too.I love their attention to details and the vibe. I feel safe in that environment, and that is something really important when going to a dentist! because.. who is not scared of going to the dentist? This was my first time going to Dr. Cho. I went in for an Invisalign consultation. He was so easy to talk to, he asked for my opinion in my own progress and then gave me his expertise. I feel he was sincere and honest about what I need and dont need. They also have great technology to show your mouth and understand the recommendations better. The staff was also very friendly.

I recently moved to Long Beach and was in search of a good dentist. After reading the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. I came in and did their promo cleaning, exam, and xray. I also had a random toothache that comes and goes. Needless to say, the experience was amazing. As long as Im in Long Beach, I can confidently say that I have found my dentist.They also gave me a complimentary bag which I just realized I forgot to take :( but it that just made the experience even more so amazing. Im extremely nervous about going to the dentist, its not really the cleaning or the drilling that I worry about I have a bad gag reflex so I dread X-rays. When I told the hygienist, Linda, about my fear she made it extremely comfortable for me and honestly it was such a pleasant experience. Linda is amazing and so is Dr. Cho. In search of a new Dental care provider since my Dentist of many years retired and reluctant to rush into an unfamiliar setting during the Pandemic, I recently became a new patient of Dr. Cho when my decision was forced due to severe pain from an infection. As my acute condition involves the maintenance of already installed dental implants, I naturally sought out a Dentist with the proper training and skill set for my needs. From my initial call-in, his staff was very accommodating, first listening in detail to my concerns and then quickly scheduling a first-patient of the day appointment for an initial complimentary consultation.When I arrived in the morning, I was immediately relieved to find a pleasant and well-equipped office in which the staff clearly followed strict COVID safety protocols. During the consultation, Dr. Cho listened intently to my dental history before beginning the examination. In short time, I soon realized I had made a good decision in seeking out his care. For my extremely sensitive mouth, he had a gentle touch. His demeanor was confident, professional and engaged. I was so impressed with Dr.Cho and his team. I walked into the office for the first time and was welcomed by Dr. Cho. He called me by name and provided initial paperwork to be completed. He said when I was done his assistant would guide me to an exam room. Once in the room, I was seen by Dr, Cho. After the initial exam, he explained I would need ex-rays and his assistant came in and did them quickly. She was very friendly just as Dr. Cho was. I had additional tests and then met with Dr. Cho to discuss the results and options for care. At no time did I have to sit and wait for care. I found Dr. Cho right around Christmas of last year. It was only a few days until Christmas and I had a dental emergency. Of course all Dentist were out of town. I came in with excruciating pain in my gums on the upper left side of mouth. I couldnt sleep for 2 days and didnt think this pain would ever be alleviated. The staff was amazing from the receptionist, to the assistants, to the dentist. They made me feel extremely comfortable and made it an amazing experience. Plus the office is extremely modern and i particularly loved the fact that they have headphones you can use so that you dont hear the drill as much. This was honestly my best dental experience. Dr. Cho did my procedure so fast I didnt believe he was done. I felt absolutely no pain at and he pulled out a decayed wisdom tooth. Thanks for the great experience.

I am impressed with Dr. Cho and his clinic, and that is not a small thing for me to say, because, 3 years ago, I was convinced I would not find a better or equally excellent dentist and clinic, when I moved to Long Beach from NorCal. Dr. Cho evaluated my dental issues, suggested a plan that would address those issues with immediate and long-term treatment, and set to work on achieving the goals we set for my dental health. Dr. Cho has successfully treated a persistent infection due to an implant issue, re-set a crown, and has done several more procedures that have resulted in my having a much improved dental health, especially my gums. I trust Dr. Chos careful monitoring in order to achieve my goal: healthy teeth and gums until I pass away! I am also happy with the dental hygiene work of Ms. Caroline Provido. Overall, I have confidence in Dr. Chos excellence and in his well-run clinic. I appreciate how collaboratively he works with his staff and that there is a good vibe in his clinic, which helps to reassure those of us who are anxious going to the dentist. I had a throbbing toothache, I was able to see Dr. Cho quickly due to a cancellation. He diagnosed me and recommended the tooth be extracted. It was done the same day and it was a pretty pain-less procedure. His staff explain the recovery process and I even received a follow-up phone call the next day to see how I was doing. Dr. Cho is an excellent dentist and he NEVER hurts me. He uses a twisty and shaking style to apply local anesthetic which make it so you really dont feel the needle when he injects you with novocain. He has been my dentist for over 9 years now. I have received 2 implants and one permanent bridge as well as whitening treatment.My teeth and gums are damaged severely because of dry, dry mouth due to use of several medications from several illnesses. Cavities and root canals are routine for my teeth. I really dont trust anyone else other than Dr. Cho. I am a cash patient and he always gives me a fair price.All the staff are friendly, professional and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Cho and his team. They gave me back my smile.

I have many dental issues due to many years without proper dental care. I have never had a non-scary/painful visit to a dentist until I started going to Dr Chos office. Each time Ive gone, the staff were very nice and sensitive to my needs. The first time I needed a minor filling which they were able to do right then and it was painless and easy. The next time Rosie cleaned my teeth and was very nice and sensitive to the fact that my teeth are sensitive to cold water so she was careful not to spray in a way that would make my teeth cold - no one has ever done that before! And then Dr Cho came in and once again he was great! I will never go to another dentist - Dr Chos office is the best!!
