Chanced to meet Joey during an open house and it was a good thing we did. Ended up going with La Salle over Chase due to the professionalism and expertise displayed by Joey and his team. They were all super responsive and on top of things, answered any and all questions we had, and basically worked diligently to make sure we closed on time and without any problems. We had done this process before, but due to various factors the financials were more complex this time around, and it was great to have Joeys team to help guide us through the process. The whole thing went incredibly smoothly and we couldnt be happier with the experience.

Joey is the best mortgage broker I have ever worked with. For my latest purchase, I wanted to make an offer on a Friday afternoon. I didnt have any document ready and Joey was able to give me a pre-approval within two hours!After our offer got accepted, Joey was extremely clear about the documents he needs at every step of the way. During the process, Joey was responsive (he replies my message / email within half an hour almost always, even on weekends) and communicates clearly to all parties (escrow officer, real estate agent, etc). We were able to close within 30 days. After we close, even my real-estate agent told me that Joey is one of the best broker he had ever worked with.

In addition to getting us a great rate on our loan, Joey was amazing to work with. To bid on our home, we had to pre-approved for our loan in under 24 hours. Joey made that happen, staying late and responding to phone calls well into the evening. From those initial frenzied moments through closing and funding our loan 25 days later, Joey communicated clearly and was highly responsive to all of our questions. In the end, I was surprised at how smooth the process was, and I know that that is largely down to Joeys efforts. If/when I need another loan, I will be sure to work with Joey.

When I see a Yelp review with 10+ reviews and they are all 5 stars I tend not to believe it. Well in this case, BELIEVE IT!! Joey stepped in when another (very large) company was in the processing of botching a purchase we were trying to make, and inside a week he had gotten it back on track and carried it to the finish line with skill and alacrity. Joey was so easy to get a hold of via phone/email and his response time was unprecedented. In addition, he is amazingly patient and answered all our questions with thoroughness and attentiveness. We are really glad to have gone with Joey for our mortgage services. There were plenty of opportunities to work with other lenders with lower interest rates, but we largely stuck with a local business because we needed someone who knew the importance of being responsive in the competitive Bay Area market, and we wanted a real estate team that had worked together well before (real estate agent + lender). There were several things that I felt contributed to the success of our home purchase: he made sure to explain all of our options to us in detail beforehand and made sure we understood what was happening; he made sure we had all of our ducks in a row (paperwork-wise) so we would be ready to go; and he responded quickly when we had decided to make an offer. He also made sure that there were no surprises, which was something I had always been nervous about going into this process.When we saw THE ONE, we put in an offer that required a rapid response, and Joey delivered - he went above and beyond to ensure that we could put in an offer with a few hours notice, on a Saturday evening, no less.We really appreciated working with him throughout the process. Joey was recommended to us by our realtor for being quick and efficient here in the east bay. We reached out to joey and was about to reach out to other lenders our realtor recommended, however Joey responded right away!Joey also knew that we had been preapproved before with another loan adviser however he still explained everything to my husband and I in detail so that we could understand. When we had questions he would respond quickly either through email or through phone. I had been hearing noises in the news about rates dropping, but given that I refinanced just a year ago, I didnt figure it would be an option for me. Then Joey emailed me that I could save a couple hundred dollars a month. Ill take it! We locked... and then the rates went down further, but Joey and his team are so awesome they got me the even lower rate even though the paperwork was still in progress. Joey and team wolf did a great job. They are upfront about compensation and they find the right loan for YOU not themselves. We had to ditch a lender most of the way through the process because of a last minute clause in the contract that was a deal breaker for us. It was no sweat for Joey. My wife and I decided to refinance our house to take advantage of historically low interest rates. I asked for a referral from others I trusted who have helped me with financing/refinancing in the past but are now either retired or overwhelmed by their current caseloads. I always think it best to get a personal recommendation from someone you trust who has no stake in the game. That is how we got connected with Joey Wolf at LaSalle Financial Services.I think Joey got us the lowest 30-year fixed rate it is currently possible to get, perhaps in modern history: 2.5% nominally, 2.648% actual APR including closing costs. Our previous nominal rate was 3.875% from refinancing ten years ago. Now I know part of getting a very low rate is based on the customers credit rating, and I think mine and my wifes are very good. But I also believe the financial professional who makes it happen, Joey in this case, has to be an advocate for you who works very hard to get all the ducks in a row, and I believe Joey Wolf did a fantastic job doing that for us behind the scenes.I strongly recommend Joey and his team for always responding to our inquiries very quickly throughout the process, whether by phone, email, or text message. Even when it was late at night - after midnight once - he response to us within minutes about some detail we wanted to understand better before taking the next step.
