Jobs you apply to stay open for MONTHS. You have to fill out a time consuming follow up questionnaire you receive after you apply. Just to never hear diddly squat ever again. The job will stay open months and months and youll just never know what the hell happened. The big mystery to me though is seriously, what is the value/point of listing the recruiters name on the posting??? This is the most pointless part in all the madness. Like...why though? Seriously, what is the reason. If you connect with the recruiter and express interest they just stalk your LinkedIn page like weirdos but never actually answer your messages. Rinse and repeat. Its creepy and weird, on top of never hearing back.I have second hand embarrassment for this company just as an applicant.

Fake company. Fake job postings. AI application joke: never get call backs. Busted 1 recruiter posting a job after it had been filled by another recruiting company. Called principle client to ask what this was about and they had no clue Jobot posted the position. Makes the job market appear busy with hundreds of open positions that do not exist.

Supposed recruiting and staffing firm located in Orange County.Very telling that the raving reviews are generally all from their employees. I find this really, really odd.Like many others, I had a negative experience with my applications put into Waitlisted status without any communication from the recruiter.I generally dont entertain working with staffing firms and this just confirms why.

Do not even try. I have applied to MULTIPLE positions and tried to contact the recruiters on several instances on LinkedIn, phone, and email. I NEVER get a response. They will not get back to you. Jobot is NOT the best.One instance is that I applied for a position, found the recruiter, sent a connection request, she ACCEPTED, I messaged her twice that I would love to talk to her about opportunities, never got a reply back.

Melanie Danner, a recruiter for JOBOT, emailed me about job opportunities, and out of curiosity I responded that I was interested. It was a weekend, but she replied within the hour. I now have a new position with better benefits and environment. She made it easy and was extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

I have recently tried using Jobot to apply to several positions for which I am qualified. Ive updated my resume to appeal to each job, written cover letters, etc., and yet, all 5 are waitlisted meaning they didnt bother submitting them to the potential employer. There is absolutely ZERO feed back. Is the position filled? Was the resume missing key points? Waitlisted, thats it.Why would I keep using Jobot to apply for positions if the Jobot Pro wont submit them? Huge waste of time and energy. Its frustrating that the Jobot Pros reach out to ME and then dont bother submitting my application. Searching for jobs is bad enough, services like this make it so much worse.

I have applied for over 50 of Jobot listings for Remote Mortgage Underwriting jobs in the last two in a half months. And I have heard NOTHING. And the same jobs are still being listed on there. I have more than enough experience (over 35 years) but still, if you applied that many times, I would think you would have at least heard from someone by now. I am beginning to think all those jobs don’t really exist. If those companies were really looking for people for two and a half months, then they are looking in the wrong place.

Its supposed to be a staffing agency who helps people find another job but to be honest, I have no clue how they operate. I applied for several jobs which requirements were matching my skills and experience, one was literally copy-paste of my resume! No feedback, no answer, no contact from the recruiter even though I reached out several times via LinkedIn. Apparently the whole team has better things to do like trips to Disneyland than helping people find jobs as they claim to do. As a job searcher I will not apply for any Jobot jobs and if I was an employer, Id avoid them too as they clearly ignore great candidates.

After spending a decade with another agency, I never once left a review for them. Jobot is a great company with approachable leaders, fantastic culture, and support for everyone. Jobot recruiters never get back to you. They will call, email, text, etc. out of the blue, telling how your outstanding qualification match this job or that job, only for them to ignore your replies and follow-up questions.ADVISE:Apply directly to the hiring companies, rather than through those Jobot clowns. Just copy and paste a portion of their job descriptions on your browser(s) and voilà: you found who is hiring for those positions!UPDATES:I copied the Jobot owner on my recent reply to one of their recruiters and even that woman ghosted me by not replying, explaining their dubious modus operandi. No wonder! She set the tone for her recruiters to do the same.I reported to Google 62, five (5) star reviews, that her employees logged on Google. Jobot employees, and the companies they work with, are the only ones writing five (5) star reviews on Google. NO ONE ELSE did | does.Their internal reviews violate Googles conflict of interest policies, because the posters work directly with that placement agency. It is in their best interests to post positive reviews to artificially make the company look good, and / or they are forced to do so by Jobot, to keep their recruitment jobs.

After the banking closure issue I was in the market once again. 4 months later John reached out and within 1 week I interviewed and got the offer. The best recruiters on the planet!!! I have applied to so many positions with them and never hear back. A waste of people’s time, incorporating AI sounds like a great idea but this agency is just like applying to any company online. The point of a staffing agency is to bypass the online application process where no one ever sees your resume and this is exactly what doesn’t happen with this one agency.

Vendors and suppliers beware. Jobot is one of our clients and will not pay several months of past due bills. I even read on Glassdoor that they missed their health insurance and employees and their families were without health insurance... do not do business with them unless you collect a large retainer. Company is most likely bankrupt or near bankruptcy with the spending they do.

Based on my experience, I imagine many of the reviews posted are from competitors. In February of 2023, I was laid off from a long-term open-ended contract, and I only had a few months of cushion to find another role. Between February and May of 2023, I submitted in excess of 1,200 resumes, many with other recruiting agencies that are well-known and largely ubiquitous, and I only had four interviews, and only two of these through a recruiting agency. Enter Josh M. and Jobot. I had never submitted through Jobot prior to the end of April of 2023 and had only made a few submissions to roles presented by their software. Within 1 week of submitting to roles I matched with, Josh M. secured an interview for me, and within the next week and a half, I received an offer and was scheduled to start my new role. NO OTHER recruitment agency has moved that quickly and has been as life-impacting for me as Josh and Jobot have proven to be.

Unprofessional hounding recruiters. I spoke with recruiters from Jobot a while back, we discussed opportunities and after a few messages and calls, I told them I was not interested in their service.Since, I still get emails and texts from Jobot recruiters regularly. Theyve submitted my resume to several companies without contacting me. Last week they scheduled an interview on my behalf, even though I hadnt spoken to them in months, and my most recent messages were very clear that I was not interested. Jeff messaged me asking about the interview, and said that I had spoken with him in weeks prior about the position, which is untrue. I told Jeff to please discontinue contacting me. Since then Ive had to ask 4 of their other recruiters to also stop contacting me.

Incredible company with a culture that I honestly didnt think existed at an employer. They hire the most talented staffing professionals in the country, which isnt easy to do. BEWARE! This company posts fake jobs to mine personal data and sell it.Over the past couple of weeks, I have applied to several roles which I am well qualified for and am always waitlisted.The process is similar for all: apply through LinkedIn, get an email for an instant interview where an AI bot asks for my salary expectation, and then get a waitlisted email.I have never spoken to an actual person and cant find the instant interview recruiters on their LinkedIn.Also, all of their positive reviews here and on Glassdoor seem to have the same tone, as if the same few folks wrote all of them. However, nobody seems to work there.Ive read that its basically impossible to get them to actually delete your data in accordance with GDPR laws and they will continue to email you to infinity and beyond, so please dont even give them your data. You will regret it.

I just noticed someone comment about no African Americans working for Jobot. I work there and several others who fit the profile. Why that matters this day and age, I am not sure, but it is what it is. One of our top recruiters is African American. I think LinkedIn would be a better source for who works at the company. AWFUL company. They have been harassing me for over a year when I asked them multiple times to remove me from their system. The BBB should look into this company because they are violating harassment laws. They are a sleazy recruiting firm that doesn’t listen to what you are looking for and just try to promote whatever role they currently have. Highly suggest not responding to any LinkedIn recruiting message unless you want to deal with their nonstop calls, emails and even text messages from multiple people at this company.

The first recruiter that reached out to me (an employer) was professional, even though I declined Jobots services.The second time around, recruiters began contacting our firms staff, even though I am listed as the point of contact for postings. The solicitations continued even after I declined Jobots services yet again. I had to send two separate recruiters emails (multiple emails to one) directing them to stop contacting our firm.This company is no better than telemarketers and just as annoying. I am very glad we did not use their services.

I wish I would of seen the reviews before dealing with this recruiter. Amy was helpful and gave me a possible opportunity but now have not heard since we spoke on Monday. It may have only been 3 days but when you leave a msg and send an email for information and you get no response, tells me that I do not want to deal with this company... so sad. I should of known with the company name JOBOT- sounds like a ROBOT, or BOT. Shame on me. I would not recommend them.

I worked briefly with Chris who found what appeared good candidate, however the candidate never started and Im being billed for the non hire. I both the potential hire and I have advised Chris that she did not start and we would not be paying the any bill. I keep getting billed and I am about to sue.I will never use them again.

Fake 5 star reviews. Almost every single 5 star review is posted by an employee of this company which is a violation of the platform terms in conflict of interest. Horrible IT and cyber recruiter. Founders are moving from one bad company to another and rinse and repeat. They are the type that wastes your time with written interviews in a chat bot, then EVERY SINGLE TIME waitlists your application and half the time does not even tell you via email what the status is. This is called FAKE JOB POSTINGS. Their IT practice is just this, utter waste of life. Dont do it.

The recruters.are not that professional or helpful and even if you qualify for the job and you have a degree in that firld and the experience they will. tell you you are not quilified and the priblem is they only post that and do not bother giving a reason. My interviewing experience with Jobot was horrific with one of the recruiters. In the interview, l was asked where do I see myself in two years. When I answered the question, the recruiter basically told me that this would not be the role for me. She didn’t give me a chance to even explain myself. I’m not a recruiter, but I’m sure that is not how you handle interviews. She acted as if what I said was completely opposite of the job role. Horrible company. Do NOT APPLY. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I had a great experience with Jobot. Liam Copsey reached out me after finding my resume on the internet to see if I was interested in an accounting role. I was very reluctant at first to apply because I was happy with my current position at the time at a worldwide real estate company. He convinced me to apply so I updated my resume and applied for the job. After 2 phone interviews I received an offer, and after 4 months on the new job, I am very happy and am glad Liam reached out to me. Liam was great during the entire process and it was really nice working with him. He kept me updated in every phase from the interviewing process to securing the job offer. It would be zero stars. It started out with the recruiter telling me his expectations for me as the hiring manager. I thought JOBOT was offering me a service that I was paying way too much for, not them telling me how to interview my candidates. Next, it was a confidential advertisement and they called my building and disclosed to the receptionist that I was at home interviewing a candidate for this high level position in our center. Next they falsified the resume of the candidate I was hiring. I found this out after I extended an offer to the candidate. They were evasive when I asked how long this employee had worked in Washington state, as I would not have entertained an interview to the candidate if they had told me she was only in her prior position for 4 months and not 4 years. They could not prove to me that they had not falsified the resume. They rude and pushy! Shocking that the candidate worked out for less than a month and now they want 27k for her hire. Their prices are 2 to 5% higher than other services. What a scam. I would not ever use them nor suggest anyone uses them. They are immoral and conducting bad business. I am confident the positive reviews are fake too.

Had an initial call with them. Very weird format. I was initially contacted by their recruiter to set up a call. I wasn’t given any information about the role or company. The person who interviewed me, called me and after introducing herself she said “I’ll leave the floor open to you” and I had to ask all the questions. Don’t get me wrong, everyone interviews differently, but it just seemed like she wasn’t really interested in asking questions. I reached out to a former employee at Jobot and he explained that he only worked there for 3 months because of how bad it was. Needless to say, I will not be moving forward with their opportunity.
