Floor employee was very helpful. Could not find the yarn I needed and she went all the way to the back to find the yarn. Very nice young lady. And the cashier was just as helpful with the check out.

The best Joanne I’ve been to! We literally drive our way out here to Torrance just for this store. I really wish I had one closer to me that was this big and new!Sign up on the joanns app if you haven’t already. You get coupons on your phone and it makes it easier to scan.Large selection of fabrics! It’s become a necessity in this day and age when we need it to make reusable masks.The cutting station: at first ppl would wait physically in line but now they’ve transitioned to having you sign in on their tablet and they’ll call your name when they’re ready to serve you. There’s plexiglass barriers between you and the cutter.Seasonal items: they always have such a large variety and selection of seasonal items! From home decor, lawn ornaments, costume jewelry, and more.They’ve always got sales going on.

I went to Joann to looks for glass beads kit, but were not in stock. Mateo kindly offered to look for the item at near by stores and found the item. This place is huge!!! Honestly spent way more time here than expected, but they had so many options. We needed fabric to redo the windows in our camper van (follow on Instagram @Cat.a.Van) and they had exactly what we were looking for! Worth the drive from wherever you are parked/living!

I would have given the store zero stars if it had not been for their employee, Mateo.I made a curbside pick up order for an obscure item and my order was canceled with an explanation of “out of stock”. I decided to go & see for myself since complacency can sometimes play a roll in these situations.Everyone of their staff that were walking the floor was pretty much dodging all the customers. Ignoring people that were very audibly saying “excuse me”. They would quickly move passed customers as if they couldn’t hear them.There was absolutely no help nor assistance for customers on a Saturday afternoon.I counted a total of six staff members & finally one team member on the floor gave me a vague description of where to find the pictured product that I showed her. Basically, she pointed me to the complete opposite side of the store from where we were with very little description of the location even after I pressed her for a more precise aisle number/location.After wandering in frustration, I finally stood in line for the cashier, Mateo. He wasn’t able to leave his cash register which is completely understandable, however he took the time to give me an extremely detailed description of where to find the seasonal and uncommon product that their website said that they had in stock.With his help, I was able to locate the item that curbside said was out of stock and carry-on with my busy day. I am so glad that he was so helpful so that I did not have to waste anymore time wondering the store. I was able to get exactly what I came to buy and be on my way. Thank you Mateo!! You are so helpful and an asset to customers!

Went for some Cricut supplies - they had a deal - buy three, get three free, but they had more than doubled the price for each item! It was a worse deal than before they went on sale. I guess they think we are all unintelligent.Its pretty bad when a 3roll of smart iron on costs over $22! The same roll on Amazon was less than $10.

This Joanns is huge it is located in the mall. I did not see an outside entrance. I went on January 24th and they still had Holiday clearance items at 80% off. They had there standard 40% off many items and as always you could use your 40% off coupon on regular priced items. It is still under construction but it was very neat and clean and well stocked.

Marty is totally AWESOME! I went in to look at sewing machines and she spent an hour explaining EVERYTHING to me. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, patient and kind. I got a great machine at a discounted price and a free 90 minute class too (which you can take over if it doesnt all stick.)Thank you SO much Marty!!Also got great advice from Jason and Melli who were wonderful as well. The store is an artists and crafters paradise, stocked with everything under the sun, spacious and bright, I cant wait to go back!!

Literally the biggest Joanns Ive ever seen or been to. I was like a kid in Disneyland. Went to the Torrance location which is like 25 miles away for a pick up order bc it was the only one in stock for my items. Dont regret driving that far at all. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Store has good selection of cotton fabrics. I gave only 2 stars because the store needs some cleaning. The shelves are dusty, the floors need cleaning also, and the restrooms look like they havent been cleaned or sanitized in quite a while. Restroom smells funky. The toilet paper rolls are on the floor and the water in the faucet has very low stream that its impossible to wash your hands properly. Also the soap dispenser didnt have any soap.

Im giving 3 stars because the store is super nice and organized, great selection. Took 2 stars away because staff was not very helpful. Staff doesnt look like they want to work/ help. I went in with 2 sewing machines in mind, I just needed a little push with pros and cons to each so I could purchase the one. I asked a lady near custom shop if there was anyone that could help me in sewing machines. She asked if I knew which one I wanted or if I had questions. I told her I was between 2. She then said no one is answering I guess Ill just help you . I was shocked, she forcefully went on to help me but left me more disappointed than ever. I left, went to Michaels and ended up purchasing one of the sewing machines from the 2 I had in mind and ended up getting a better deal. Michaels gave me a 25% coupon and I got my Singer 4411 for $40 less than Joanns. 😊😊

The store floor layout had been redesigned since I was last there and it is much more user friendly. It was spotless and beautiful. The store personnel were all wearing masks and checkout people were behind glass barriers for further customer protection.The merchandise itself was substantial and varied. Its a great place to buy crafting merchandise or be inspired to bring crafting into your life. 👍👍👍

Black Friday always busy. The check out line not too bad most had items they carried went by quick . Parking not too bad today but you had to park out near Hawthorne Blvd. Price of yarn doubled since a few years ago. They had lots of checkers. I did not get my discount coupons I normally get in the mail this year they redid their store very clean and more organized

People seem pretty nice but its hard to find people to help you. My orders are always ready when I get there so thats a good thing. Theres a lot of little things on sale but you really have to look. The only downside to shopping in the store is trying to find things on the shelves. Things are always out of place, marked the wrong price or in a completely different section altogether. I was looking for wood boxes but they were all in a section where markers should have been. I thought that was funny and then I ended up finding their tags on another aisle. All in all good place if youre looking for items that are hard to find online. Its always best to go in and ask because if you ask someone on the phone they usually dont know anything. Good luck!

Online it says I can rent a Glowforge. I called the rep at the store who seemed frustrated I was asking about it. She was 100% being short with me for no reason. I asked if there is a date when they will begin rentals. She said no and corporate hasnt told them when to start. Online it says they offer it. I asked if they could take my information in case there is a waiting list for that. She said there is nothing like that and to just keep calling their store. Doesnt seem like a reasonable solution, wasting time for them and me. Why would I want to keep calling back to talk to employees who are rude and dont reflect what it says on the company website? Im sure its a nice store never been. Rep at store didnt give her name.... EDIT (spoke to store manager. She had the information. Was kind and helpful) Seems like a new item for them. Glad everything is cleared up and looking forward to renting a machine soon.

I went several times right before and after Christmas and the lines were long but it goes pretty fast! There were several people available to help. The clearance sections are pretty cool!ots of fabrics to choose from and yarns. You get good deals with the app and can use the coupons on it! One mission o. The app was to spend forty bucks and get 10 bucks. Which I did and got a 10 off at least 10 dollar purchase a few days later! They always have sales on different items too!

I love this store. Staff are nice (except for some women in the fabric section, they seem grumpy most of the time) but the rest are pleasant. The store is always very clean and it is easy to find your way around. They send you coupons and even if you forget them at home the cashiers are usually very accommodating and do their best to find you one. Parking is always available. If you are crafty you will love this store, but try to get their discount coupons before you go there.

Joanns offers SO MUCH amazing stuff for every crafting hobby. We went during the evening and the store was not crowded. The store was clean, orderly, well-stocked, and bright. The aisles were clear of traffic and debris.We found what we were shopping for (beads, wooden blocks, etc). The cashier was very helpful when checking is out at the register.

I dont understand why someone would choose a career that requires customer service if they dont enjoy or demonstrate good customer service. There is a man who checks you out but acts introverted, no personality and no eye contact. I did not feel welcomed or appreciated. This is one of the largest Joann stores Ive been to. It has items that are not commonly found in other stores. They are in the process of remodeling and its looking great inside. There is access to the mall from the inside of the store. Customer service is always great. They have check out registers at both the back and the front of the store.

Im giving this place two stars for the variety of merchandise they sell. I am sad to say that I will NEVER RETURN to Joanns Fabrics. I went twice in a three week period and found the staff at the fabrics dept. exceedingly rude, specifically two of the older women. I didnt catch their names but one was African American and the other Asian. The younger staff were helpful.I dont go to a place to get customer service where Im spoken down to, ignored and treated in a spiteful manner. One example, I was told I had to get in line to be called even though I had signed in. Because I wasnt in line, I was ignored and not called and was the only person there and the only name on the large screen. I asked, do I need to be in line to be called and was told yes. Others were called, per my observation after, who were not in line.Others may find this department great. But I dont plan on giving them anymore business.

Did an online order three weeks ago. Never received any info in pickup. I called and talked to manager. He promised to send email in 20 minutes. After two hours nothing. Called again. Another promise of an email. Got an email that 6 items are ready for pickup. When I get there I for curbside pickup, I try for 15 minutes to call, but no answer. I finally see a worker in the parking lot and she says shell bring my order right out. After another 15 minutes, nothing. If you havent been to this location in awhile prepare to be shocked! This Joanns had undergone a recent renovation and come out of it with about double the floor space. Its HUGE! In addition to the expanded size, its really a lovely store and the larger for print has allowed for wider aisles and a much more pleasant experience. My only complaint with Joanns, regardless if location, is their prices. I wont say theyre higher prices than competitors in everything, but no question, Ive seen consistently higher prices on non fabric items.

This store has nearly everything you need for arts and crafts (and baking/cooking, decorating, etc.). Its very big and neatly put together in sections. They seem to be understaffed most of the time as I only ever see 2 or 3 cashiers open at most. Some of the paint/concrete/wall is chipping off in areas that are in view to everyone, but maybe theyre just remodelling. The price check stations also dont always work. But their deals are amazing! They always have early holiday deals

Del Amo location I dont like that one can no longer enter from within the mall. But it has been beautifully remodeled. More variety of craft supplies, but selections seem limited. Limited selection on beads, glitters & other stuff. Lots more fabrics, yarns and a REALLY long line for cutting table when I was there.

Even though i was doing an even exact change, just colors were different, they charged me current price for the yarn i spent $18.00 instead of $10.00. I understand things are different but i dont believe it is fair to the consumer.

I placed two orders for curbside pickup on May 24th... One order was ready for pickup 3 days later. I’m still waiting for confirmation on the second order- it’s been 2 weeks now. I called them (after 1 week or placing the order) and I was instructed that “if I need it that badly, I should just come in and get it myself”. I obviously placed an online order for a reason. I can’t go to the store and shop. I told the person on the phone that I am unable to go into the store and she said she would have her manager fulfill my order and it would be ready shortly.4 days later and it’s still not ready. I’ve called them to cancel the order but the phone just rings- I haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone the past 3 days.I’m over shopping here.

This store is quite large and has ample supplies of everything you need to craft and sew and so much more. They are very nicely set up for a variety of instructional classes when it is allowed after COVID. I will definitely choose to go here again before I head to another Michaels. Being new to the area I havent tried Hobby Lobby yet but that is usually my preferred store.

They have an amazing selection of crafting supplies from all types of crafts, and the employees are generally friendly and try to be helpful. They have a big problem with their payment systems overcharging for items, their system doesnt always accept coupons they should. The cashiers try to help, and eventually make it right, but it takes a long time and can be frustrating.If you are looking to purchase something that costs more than $40, wait for a 50% off coupon (available through their app), or get it from Walmart or Amazon for like $25.

I usually buy a lot of blizzard fleece when its on sale as I make pet pads/mats for carriers. I do this for a rescue/adoption group. I like this store as they have tables throughout the store and if you ask sometimes, I get to use a table to cut my fabric using my pads/mats template. It is so much better due to the height of their table versus the conference room where I work (which makes my back hurt) yay me Thank you :)

I came here with a short amount of time. I knew what aisle to go to for what I was purchasing (paint markers). Like any other store paint and paint accessories are locked behind a glass door. The only downside was the amount of customer service available to open this glass door. And it was poor. The register was busy, I had no idea what an associate who worked here looked like. Once I found someone who I thought was a worker she was speaking to another worker about something. This was like 5-10 minutes into entering the store. Instead of being in an out I wasted more time than I shouldve. I ended up leaving and going to Target . If I have 30 minutes to kill Ill go shop at joanns next time

We purchased fabric a long time ago and we were waiting several days for the fabric to be ready for pickup only to find out 4 days later it was sold out. Turns out what they have in stock online is what was held for someone else. We talked to customer service and they said even if a product is sold out but still held in the store waiting for someone else to pickup, it will be in-stock online but it actually isnt. Honestly dont know what the people that run this place were thinking when they set up a curb side pick up. Took me about 30 mins to get order. Phone line was busy so I had to get out of my car to give their workers my order number who were outside in the hot sun trying to hunt people down to either get their order numbers or give them their orders. I dont see this place as an essential but its fine people need to work and make money to get by but that doesnt mean open curbside without a hint of organization. Not sure who set this up but theyre failing miserably and massive props to the workers who were running around in the hot sun looking for people to give them their orders.

I came in today to return some fabric that I had bought. Was very happy that I was able to return it. I was instructed to go over to the place where they measure so the lady could measure and then return what was there. Bonnie helped me out and she was not friendly at all. I had my receipt taped to the thing that the fabric was wrapped around, because I didnt want to loose it and I thought they would want it back. She just ripped the receipt off and told me she didnt need it. Never made eye contact. Just wasnt friendly at all. Just a disappointment. Trying to get fabric cut, waited 20 minutes. The girl cutting fabric had no clue what she was doing. This other worker kept trying to interrupt her and show her what to do. Eye rolls are not necessary when someone is trying to help you. After waiting 20 minutes with all these issues it took me another 20 minutes to get two fabrics cut! I know there checkout is always a nightmare but in no way should that take 30 minutes!

I love this store! They have lots of great art supplies, canvas for paintings in every size & usually ON SALE at greatly reduced prices. They have all kinds & every color--including holographic neon pinks & blues--of this great stuff that comes in rolled up tubes that you can make cut-outs with and then iron on to fabric. The possibilities are endless as far as making flower designs for jeans or alphabet letters for t-shirts. Im currently working on a few anti-orange crybaby for president t-shirts that Im verý excited about. They have lots of absolutely GORGEOUS upholstery fabrics as well as everything you would need to re-upholster a chair or a bench- as I am also currently working on. If you have a good imagination this place is heaven on earth.The employees are helpful & knowledgeable and there is a large, clean restroom for everyone. The place is HUGE. There is always plenty of parking, even at holiday time. The mall is very well designed & laid out so that you can always park just steps away from JOANN Fabrics even if you require disabled parking- which I personally do.Even if you dont have a project to buy supplies for you should go in there and look at all the fun things they stock. By the time you leave its likely you will have figured out something new & exciting to work on. Remember what they say about art being such effective therapy for mental illness & all types of stress? I was in line, completly entrance with the mugs on clerance when an incredibly friendly cashier beckoned to me and let me know to take my time but when I was ready he could help me. He had just finished ringing up another woman and her bag had a tear from the cardstock she just purchased (we have all been there) so she asked for another bag, he was quick to assist her. I dropped my candy mustaches and realized they cracked and broke. Before he began ringing me up, I mentioned the broken mustache candy and asked if I could swap them out and I would be right back. Well I was in a wedding in Arizona when I get a phone call from Joann saying they can only hold my item to the end of that business day. I love Joanns because of the wide selection they have for arts and crafts. I personally love embossing and stamping. However, I dont like that they give you a 50% off any one regular priced item and yet whenever I go in they always have what I like on sale! This is one of the largest Jo-Ann locations Ive ever been to. I used to work at a large location in West Covina, and this one is probably twice the size. Joann Stores advertised irons on sale. In store, there were only empty boxes for the Rowentas. Finally tracked down staff and they directed me to the cashiers while they obtained the two irons I was interested in seeing. This was useless since they do not allow you to test the weight of the irons or even view the actual iron. They also sell sewing machines and Im certain nobody is buying these sight unseen.

My initial thought was that the fabric was expensive then I got introduced to the coupons. They have amazing online and In store deals. I even get a teacher discount. This place is the bomb as they even combine weekly deals and coupons.

This store is huge with lots of parking and selection. Staff is always helpful, specially ladies at the fabric cutting station. Could be a bit pricey, but thats what the coupons are for.

Since this is the only Jo-Anns that is close by, I am kind of forced to shop here. I wish that Micheals carried more of the Cricut products but it doesnt anymore or else I would totally stop shopping at Jo-Anns. The customer service is rude!!!!! You can hardly find anyone to help you even on a slow day during the week. This is really sad for such a big crafting chain...

Its more expensive here than michaels and hobby lobby. there are a wider range of sewing and hobby items here than the other two famous arts and craft store whereas michaels has a lot of painting and drawing items and hobby lobby has a lot of decorative and painting items. love all three!

This is the place to go if you are into crafting of all kinds. A huge store. Lots of choices here. I love the yarn selections they have and bought a bunch when I was doing some loom knitting. A great selection of looms and crochet hooks in various sizes here as well. Lots of parking available out in front. Also you can enter into the other stores in the Del Amo mall thru Joann. A bit disorganized due to issues resulting from the renovations upstairs to Dicks Sporting Goods, all the new construction to the rest of the Del Amo Mall make the poor place look a bit shabby now(the store is pretty old though) Still a great place to wander around in for a couple hours browsing through the everything, still great customer service & selections, a family favorite as always!

Because its the only Jo-Ann Fabrics that is inside of a Fashion Mall and I think all malls that are surrounded by fashion should have fabric stores in them. They get five stars for having that it is very convenient designers while people are already inspired by being at the mall.

Just went to Joanns yesterday...its always need messy but it looks like its getting worse. Little selection. Think the only thing thats keeping it afloat is its sewing section. Not coming here often unless Im in the neighborhood...and lines are still issue.

Zero stars for this joanns.. i loved the idea of it being so big but it sucks.. their inventory is horrible, evertime I come they never have what their inventory says.. i wanted 4 yrds of a fabric and their inventory said they had 7 yrds.. turns out they dont have that fabric at all.. Come for fabric stiffener inventory says they have 18 bottles they dont even have one.. how do 18 bottles go missing???
