The customer service was sorely lacking. Women at the cutting table were not friendly nor helpful. I asked her if she could help me with the textile I wanted to learn about the fabric. Her reaction to my question was as if I had interrupted her lunch break. Her face was distorted, and her voice was angry. I left the store without making a purchase. This is the Foothill, Ranch store. My local store. What a shame I need to find a fabric store that’s willing to work with me.

Lots of different options, great store for arty people! Papers, paints, fabrics, baking stuff, lots of things.

Store was messy and not organized. Employee could use more customer service training. Or maybe you will receive better service if you are Caucasian, like how we were ignored while the other customers received helped.

I stood in no line..I was at the front, for over 10 minutes..listening to 2 men behind the counter, shoot the breeze and totally ignore me. One girl at the other end of the counter was waiting on 2 other customers..working 2 check out registers...I finally shoved my fairly full cart aside and left...probably 75 plus dollars worth of flowers...Joanns can go to work on hiring men who actually WORK....

The bathroom is disgusting! Ive seen cleaner bathrooms in a gas station! Michaels has better stuff anyway. Really disappointed in this location.

The customer service was sorely lacking. Neither women at the cutting table were friendly or helpful. As I was trying to make my final decision regarding a fairly pricey item, one of them told me that the store was closed and I had to leave. Oddly enough, it was exactly 2050 (according to Verizon) and the hours displayed on the front door stated that they closed at 2100. They had great selections and awesome prices but Id rather shop online than deal with those bitter employees. The young lady at the register was delightful and because of her, I came back a week later and bought the item for $20 less than I would have paid that night

Love this store. Not only is it huge with lots of merchandise variety, but, more importantly, the people that work there are really nice and helpful. Kathy greeted me when I walked in and both Kathy and Lori (the manager) were extremely helpful in helping me sort through my confusion with my purchase. Usually when a customer is confused about pricing or discounts, the salespeople make you feel like youre a terrible inconvenience, but not at this store! I was so pleased at the courteous, patient way they helped me!

I bought three wrong size knitting needles and went to exchange them. Instead of a simple exchange, I had to return the old ones, purchase the new ones and find the coupon again for the discount. Seemed like they made it too complicated and wasted my time.

9/26/22 cashier:504672, Debra ticket: 22256, I’ve been going to this store for 13 years in Foothill Ranch and I usually love this store and the girls who work there but this time I get to the counter with my items and get my app opened with a coupon and the women at the cashier, named Debra tells me “this is 40% off you don’t need a coupon,” and I tell her I always have ladies at the cashier help me with coupons and I’m not sure why she isn’t but she goes on to tell me she’s worked there a long time and she doesn’t care, I looked at her name and she said, “take my name I don’t care.” So I tell her I know you don’t care youve told me twice that you don’t care in the 30 seconds I’m standing here! I’m sure Joann’s fabrics would not want their name tarnished because someone decided to express herself in such a rude and negative way

I drove all the way to the Foothill Ranch store looking for fabric for blankets that I was making for 10 girls. I asked to have the fabric cut in 7 individual pieces I was told No (by the way the Lake Forest Store happily cut three of them for me). And then when I told the lady at the counter that the other Joann’s did it for me. She said “we don’t do that”. Then I was told by the lady I NEEDED TO FIGURE OUT THE TOTAL AMOUNT I NEEDED! I said “Excuse me?” Then she walked away. If I didn’t need the fabric I would have left.Customer Service is a Lost Art!Did I tell you there wasn’t anyone anywhere near the cutting counter let alone in the fabric area.
