Damian just left my apartment. I am so amazed at his kindness and professionalism that I couldnt wait to get online and put in my review. He showed up on time as was promised, he even called to say hes on his way. He changed the thermostat very quickly. I had not asked for filter replacement when I called in for service last week but it came up in the conversation and he said if he had any in the right size in his truck, he will replace it at no charge !! - he only had one so he replaced one and he even offered to bring back another one for the second vent and replace it later !!! I have recently moved to California so I am so excited to find a trustworthy friend in Damian that I saved JMSs phone number in my contacts on my phone for any future air-conditioning and heating service needed in the future. He has come to my house before and this time he told me I needed a new air/heater but made sure he could fix it so I’d have heat in the meantime. He said it won’t last long . Yossi is the president of a company you can trust. Look no further than JMS for your hvac needs. We were dealing with another company that rhymes with metal and they did work on our system and made our home unsafe as a result. They then wanted a large amount of money to replace everything as a result of their mistake. Thankfully we found JMS. Yossi came to our home and was extremely pleasant and thoughtful and genuinely cared about providing exactly what we wanted. We went with them for a new system but were able to save money by keeping our current duct work. Yossi’s team did an excellent job of replacing our system and answering any and all questions. Yossi even checked in after the job was done to make sure we were completely satisfied. On top of that we get 5 years free maintenance! You can’t go wrong with JMS!

Ive been meaning to leave a review since late last summer when they replaced our heat and ac. These guys are great. Professional and quick. They are all business and that is nice. Added a register into our hard to heat and cool living room and that has made it much more comfortable. I highly recommend JMS. Back in 2014 I had JMS install a new central a/c & heating unit & was very pleased with the equipment & the men that installed.Later I had a problem w my thermostat- in addition to it not functioning the numbers were small & I literally couldn’t read the temp. When the service guy came he told me about the Nest thermostat that has large numbers & I can control from my phone - and it’s free from LADWP. A few days later it was installed & I love it!! Easy to work & free!Later I signed up for the warranty & like them checking my system to keep it functioning at the best capacity. Very good company!

Joe and JMS was recommended to me by a good church friend as they had done the A/C systems for his apartments. Well, after being left extremely unsatisfied by work done prior from a home insurance based servicer, I was left to sweat it out for 1 summer. By the time last summer had rolled around, I knew my portable swamp cooler wasnt going to cut it. Had a whole new system installed with new ducts. Time from project start to project completion was done in under a week (proposed timeline was 1 week, I think it actually took like 3 days from start to finish; super impressive). I was apprehensive over swapping over from my gas furnace to electric heat pump, but it was the only way for me to get a rebate from LADWP for the A/C system install. Now Im really glad I did. 1 year has passed now and the new system has actually allowed me to keep my house more comfortable all while saving me money over what I spent running my old system. No more uneven air pressure from room to room, the whole house maintains its temperature well to the point where the system only runs a few hours per day, and luckily enough for me since my system was switched out to a heat pump, I didnt get hit very hard at the beginning of the year when gas prices spiked. And also since I have solar on my house that was sized around use when I had my old A/C system in, operating the A/C really doesnt cost me anything to cool or heat.

The service was done few months ago. So, on one hand my review is long overdue. On the other hand it confirms the excellence of the job that stood the time test.Unbelievable service by this awesome team with Uriel Mtz, Manuel Aguilar and Oscar Maravilla. They had several challenges where to install, how to hide the ugly pipes and the condenser with least damage for the roof and other problems. They were very analytical and came up with very creative solutions. Always on time, extremely efficient, honest and considerate.They didnt rush to leave after the job. They tested the system fully with all options. Made sure everything was excellent. They cleaned the area spotless, hauled the boxes and trash.We were very impressed with these skillful guys with integrity and strong work ethics. I find working with the office personnel extremely frustrating. They hound you to keep up your annual service contract and are not particularly helpful in resolving problems. In this case they couldn’t locate an invoice from 1year ago for a thermostat that failed. This was the 3rd service call this year where my service request was that the heat wasn’t working & the thermostat was frozen. I was able to find the invoice & they followed up to get the manufacturer to replace it at no charge. Did they really think it was a good approach to put the burden on the customer?The technician, Andrew, was excellent. He did a thorough check, diagnosed the issue, and worked patiently with an irate customer & incompetent office staff to resolve the problem. I really appreciated his help & he was a nice guy too.

My HVAC system was not heating at all. I called a highly recommended company that worked on fixing it for two days and they couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I called another well-known HVAC company who also spent a day at my house and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my system. I finally called JMS HVAC. They scheduled the work and came out the same day I called. The service technician who diagnosed the problem said that I needed a new part. He ordered it and came back in a couple of days. (Supply chain issues) After installing the part and doing a tuneup, my system finally worked. From the lady who answered the phone, to the service technician who diagnosed the problem to the technician who installed the part and got my unit up and running, they were all polite, professional, careful, and were able to fix the problem that two other well-known companies couldnt figure out. Their price was very reasonable and I would recommend JMS to anyone with HVAC problems.

We are very happy with their services. We contacted JMS last year to fix our furnace and do a AC maintenance that is covered by LADWP program. Eduardo went onsite and did an awesome work. Fix our furnace, AC maintenance and gave recommendation on other improvements and optimization we can do. We also signed up for their yearly maintenance program which is awesome. We don’t need to worry about cleaning and changing filter. Last week they schedule Eduardo to do a maintenance and again great job. Yossi, went to our house to assess and gave us estimate. Taking advantage of the LADWP AC Optimization Program, I went looking through the list of the contractors that I could choose from. When in doubt or dont know who to use, use google reviews to help. This was the 5th one on the list and I am glad for the service. Melissa took my call and information and we agreed on a date to have the service completed. She was professional on the phone and answered all my questions. When the appointment arrived, the tech was was respectful of the property and cleaned up any dust or debris that fell when looking into the attic and crawl spaces. The inspection took less than an hour. Based off of this interaction, I would consider using them for a future HVAC repair or service.

I purchased my HVAC from JMS. Installation was very professional . Price was competitive. I made my selection of JMS after obtaining 3 competitive bids. Their salesperson/inspector took one look at my old unit and explained immediately what was the problem that I had been having for many years with my old unit ( nobody else was able to do that ) . He also uncovered a broken vent in my old unit that if left unaddressed could have resulted in dangerous exhaust gases entering my home. The only problem I have had with JMS is their answering service, or intake process, which still has some rough spots. I have seen some evidence that they are working to improve that, as that obviously is a weak link in their ability to provide excellent service.

I would have given them 5 stars except for 2 things. Firstly, although I told them the size of air filter that I needed, the service man didn’t bring it and told me that I would have to pay extra for it. If I’d been told earlier, when I gave them the size, I could have expected this surcharge and not made to feel like I was being taken. Secondly, which tied into the first problem, the serviceman tried selling me additional services so although he was good at doing his job, I felt too much pressure to buy additional services.

We called JMS A/C when our 2 A/C units in the office stopped working. We received a same day appointment and the technicians arrived on time within the scheduled time frame. After a short inspection of the systems the technician outlined before us the various options how to proceed with the repair. It felt like the guy really knew his staff. We decided to repair one unit and replace the compressor on the other unit once we realized that otherwise the problem will re-occur. The work has been done and Im proud to say that now six months later we have no issues whatsoever with our A/C units. We have no problem recommending JMS A/C to anyone else for their professionalism. We needed the work done and JMS A/C made sure it was done to our expectations and satisfaction.

Our AC started making a strange rumbling sound. I called JMS AC and Heating. As promised, the technician showed up on time, professional, and polite. I watched as he took apart the furnace and found the schematic label had fallen off and was sucked into the blower, which caused an imbalance. The technician then went about taking apart the blower and motor and cleaned them thoroughly. Also inspected the coils, which showed they were pretty clean for a 9 year old machine.Other than the diagnostic fee for coming out, there was no additional charge. He did talk me into the service plan, which he believes (and I agree) is a good deal for an older AC unit.On time, courteous, expert, and honest. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be calling on JMS again in the future.

JMS technician Chris Reyes promised to have my house cool again when he arrived to troubleshoot my Daikin system which had failed over the hot weekend. He eventually discovered that the problem was the dual motor module which had failed due to excessive heat in the service panel (which is pointed toward the hot sun). Thankfully, the expensive part was covered under my excellent warranty. I paid only for labor. Chris delivered on his promise & I was able to sleep in a cool house again.

So I made an appointment to get my AC checked from the DWP AC program. I picked JMS air conditioning and heating making the appointment the girl sounded very nice and professional. So they come check the AC unit and the guy was like you need to change your AC unit it’s no good. Then he goes ahead and tells me that I get a $1,200 credit from DWP so we go ahead and look at different units and everything they need to do so I think it over and decide to go for it and then he says oh sorry you don’t qualify for $1,200 but only $700 so I’m thinking about it but he notice that my mind is changed and that I’m not willing to go through with it so he say that’s fine I’ll just eat the extra $500 and he’s attitude change he customer service changed like every thing change he wasn’t so nice anymore wasn’t professional anymore. So went ahead and schedule to get my replacement of the unit with a different company and it actually came out way cheaper for everything he said he was going to do.
