My wife and I have been remodeling our kitchen ourselves recently and we decided to give concrete counter tops a try. We were successful in making three of them (not in place but in forms in our garage) and one of the larger tops that contains the sink cutout proved to be more of a challenge than we had expected.I happened to see JMK Design & CO.s ad on Facebook marketplace and contacted Jon. I explained we had three counters made and ready to install but needed the sink counter fabricated. Jon was up for the challenge and came by to check out the job. We asked him to not only make the counter top but to try and match the ones we had already made. Further, we asked him to install all of them as our kitchen is on the second floor and these things are heavy!Jon made the counter top (its gorgeous) and installed all of them. As I stated above, concrete counter tops are heavy and difficult to install. Jon and his team did a wonderful job with the installation and we couldnt be happier. In fact, he was able to match our countertops very closely. The final product was exactly what we were looking for as we wanted each piece to be slightly different to give the kitchen a bit more character.Throughout this process we were very impressed with Jons attention to detail - and he understood what we hoped to achieve with our kitchen remodel. He was very easy to work with and his quality is second to none. Thanks so much for everything, we are very happy!

I have known Jon for over 20 years and I have watched him work his way up through the ranks at numerous high end restaurants in Napa, Marin and San Francisco, and finally starting a business of his own. His experience in business startup and structure has been extremely valuable to me the past few years as I have been tackling how to grow my business. He has the skills and know-how to help others see through obstacles that any business runs into. Jon has been a great friend and business advisor over the years... I dont know what I would do without him.
