Shortly after diving into The Infinite Banking Concept, I stumbled upon John’s Strategic Whole Life (formerly The Fifth Edition) podcast - which I highly recommend.While I grew very confident in the idea of implementing IBC in my own personal life, I also became very apprehensive about identifying a trusted professional who would not only help guide me in the right direction, but also keep my best interests at heart, as I navigate a very misunderstood industry/strategy.Beyond his deep experience in the Financial Industry (Life Insurance specifically) and proving to be a wealth of knowledge, I gravitated towards John’s calm demeanor, and lack of pressuring sales tactics. I’m very glad I did, as John and I have built a great relationship over the past year or so. Despite an almost 7 month timeframe from our initial conversation to policy creation due to a career change, John displayed nothing but patience with me the entire way, always welcoming my frequent check-ins. He has proven to be a great resource, and always reiterates his availability, reassuring me that he has time for my questions, which I can certainly attest to.All in all I get the strong impression that John is very passionate about his work, and providing his clients with genuine interactions. I really value the fact that he always seems to remember previous conversations, and details that I’ve shared about my life.If my experience thus far is any indication, I genuinely could not recommend John enough. I look forward to the opportunity to continuing developing our relationship, and leaning on John’s mentorship and expertise to help empower me to achieve my financial goals and leave a lasting legacy for the generations to come!

I booked a call with John to learn more about IBC and how I can get started. John was so helpful in understanding how it works and how to best implement and utilize the IBC. I have some leg work to do on my end to get my finances in order before diving in and he was super helpful in mapping out a plan and identifying targets I should hit. Im looking forward to giving John a call in the coming weeks to let him know Im ready to move forward and kick off the journey with him as my advisor!

I have been doing my research on IBC and stumbled upon John by chance. I enjoyed viewing all Johns content on his website along with his podcast and thought to myself, I can see myself working with a person like this. I had my interview and gathering of information with my phone call with John. John Montoya (JLM Wealth Strategies) has consulted with my husband and me a few times through the last 4 years. It has always been a highly educational and beneficial experience. Hes kind, respectful, humorous, patient, and caring. And most importantly, hes very knowledgeable about best strategies for arranging retirement funds for best outcomes. (Not just to accumulate assets, but to actually be able to generate the income needed to retire with peace of mind.) We appreciate how John thinks outside the typical financial boxes so that we can stop giving our power (and money!) away and become more financially free. John provides insightful and relevant long term financial planning options. I originally felt skeptical about the possibility of being my own banker. However, in just the first couple of years, the policy John built for me and my family allowed us to weather multiple financial storms in ways that would have been impossible otherwise.I am grateful to John for his professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness. These guys are so legit.John Montoya and I scheduled an initial consultation over Zoom, and when I admitted I was from another country, I thought he would immediately say goodbye since we couldnt have a business relationship. But to my amazement he stayed OVERTIME on the call just to help answer some of my biggest questions about Infinite Banking, AND he went out of his way to refer to me someone he trusts from my own country who could get me started - all with no promise that it would help him in the end.I also highly recommend consuming all of his Podcast, where I first heard of John, called The Fifth Edition, where he goes into great detail explaining some of the finer points of IBC for the layman like me.This guy is the real deal who really puts the needs of his clients first. My husband and I found John through the IBC portal. We met him in person and felt confident embarking on this new wealth strategy with him guiding us. I am so happy I was able to find John to guide me in my understanding and implementation of IBC.During my due diligence phase of IBC I talked with a lot of people and agents. The initial journey can be a little overwhelming and John is one of the most patient, understanding, helpful and competent agents you will find.I undoubtedly became a nuisance with all of my endless questions, but he always answered kindly and fully. He demonstrated over and over that hes someone easy to build a relationship with for the long term. Some agents can be arrogant, talk down to you, and will even berate you for asking questions - Not John.

I found John through the IBC practitioner portal and am very happy with my experience. John is down to earth and easy to talk with. Hes patient, does not pressure you nor does he give you a sales pitch. Hes honest, does not sugar coat, and had answers for all the questions I had in learning IBC. After watching a bunch of various IBC youtube videos, I decided to check if there was a good book on Audible. His free podcast, The Fifth Edition, came up, and was very helpful. He doesnt ever come across like a salesman, he is more like a very patient mentor. I am grateful to have stumbled onto him!
