Great Professional Service. We purchased a used motorhome and had a list of issues we needed addressed.J & K is family owned and operated which probably lends to the quality and friendly service. Mike confirmed everything they would address, and provided estimate and updates on progress. This ensured there were no surprises and the rig was completed and ready when promised. When we picked it up Mike again went over everything addressed to ensure nothing was missed. I trust Jerry and his crew to provide quality professional service and would recommend them.

Our first experience with J & K Automotive and were not disappointed. Lauren & Mike at front of house were very knowledgeable about our car and Lauren was very efficient with booking car in and following progress for us throughout the various work that we had done. I am a completely satisfied and happy customer for life…I have a sprinter van that had leaks from the roof. I had an appointment with J & K to reseal my roof and stop the leaks. Above and beyond, they accepted my van in more than a week early because it was going to rain and they put my van inside so it wouldnt get wet. They then completely fixed my van! It poured rain all last night and my van is completely dry, could not be happier!They tested every single thing in my van and found that my generator needed to be removed and serviced, which they did a beautiful job of and my van is back to New again thanks to them!Highly recommend J & K for your RV work, they are true professionals who care about completing your job perfectly.Thank you, thank you, thank you!I feel completely safe and ready to hit the road again because of J & K.

Excellent!! Took my Coachmen Prism RV in for valve extender repair and TPS monitors. Mike was fantastic. He communicated well, was very knowledgeable, and explained all information in a way that I could understand. Will definitely use J&K for my RV needs in the future.

Thanks Mike and Jerry! - ****** Jerry and Mike are GREAT to work with and both have been absolute gentlemen and customer minded. I am a first time RV owner with a 1994 Winnebago Minnie Winnie on a Ford E350 with a 5.7 L V8 sounds great, runs great, looks great but has a ghost in the machine the causes it to unexpectedly NOT start! We are now on round three they are still trying to solve this puzzle. .. ... ... to be continued.Problem solved and it has been running great!My generator decided it would not start and so I asked Mike to pickup where I ran out of ideas and patience and skill.Once again J&K came through with flying colors.Cleaned carbonator and replace a blown fuse and we are up and running again!Thanks guys!

I have a 1967 Ford Thunderbird, being a classic car you have to look a little harder to find a mechanic/shop that will take on fixing such cars as they are completely different from modern vehicles so shops need to have mechanics that are familiar with working on them. After calling around a few shops in the Camarillo area, J&K Automotive said they do work on classic automobiles so I brought my car in. My door handle on the front passenger side broke so that needed fixing and I had the parts to fix the washer fluid system in the car. They got everything fixed and repaired and did a look over the car all within the same day, a few hours actually, drop the car off around 9:00 a.m. and picked it up at 4:00 p.m. that day. Everything works wonderful, this seems to be a legit great shop, I recommend everyone take their cars here. J&K Automotive seems to be the real deal, a true gem of an automotive shop in the Camarillo area. A shop with the expertise and knowledge to work on a wide variety of vehicles, and as a classic car owner now that is wonderful to have such a shop in the area. A+ service all around and definitely will be using their services again for my automotive needs. Just want to add as well another great service they provide is a shuttle service within the Camarillo area so you can drop off your car and get home without needing to call an Uber or car service.

This shop is gold! I travel between AZ and CA and, going forward, will *always* schedule time here for my auto work. Their top notch diagnosis and repair skills match their phenomenal courtesy and kindness skills. They are hands down excellent, knowledgeable professionals from the front desk to the shop and good, good people. In this instance, I was driving my 94 Dodge Ram Van. Purchased new 32 foot Class A in 2018. Was able to get all warranty work done at J &K instead of driving 100 miles in LA traffic to selling dealership. Saved me many hours and repairs were excellent. J &K has my highest recommendation1-9-2024Took my 20 year old Honda Van in for service. Service was prompt complete through and extremely satisfactory. The Van is a vehicle I use everyday and the fact it is still operating and running well is due tot he mechanical work done at J& K for the past several years. Their expertise has kept me enjoying and using my Van without worries about break down. Highest recommendation for auto service.

I had a recent incident with my trailer bearings (which I was sure were fine) and was stranded at the bottom of the Grapevine pass. I had to call for roadside service and it was scary and dangerous. Jerry and Mike got me in right away and were amazing. They fixed my trailer, documenting everything and ensuring the safety of the wheels and axle going forward. I appreciate all they did for me. I stopped by to talk with the mechanic about my 1972 el Camino and a carburetor issue. The mechanic Matt is extremely knowledgeable on hi performance engines and I wound up coming back and had him install a new carburetor. He set it up along with a few other adjustments and the car runs great. Also appreciated how the staff treated me.

I just moved and had to leave an auto mechanic that I really trusted so it was important to me to try and find a reputable repair shop. I asked around and several people recommended J&K Automotive. They didnt steer me wrong. J&K quickly did the oil change and 75k check on my Prius while I waited. They even were able to fix a minor problem I had been having with my car. I had to go back to J&K due to an issue with my slide. I had one of the motors replaced last year and it was not functioning properly again. Mike replaced the motor at no cost parts and labor without question. If you want to do business with a company that stands behind their work and supplies a warranty you can count on J&K. I also had an oil change, fan motor replaced and floor repair. All jobs were completed professionally. Their service and customer service by Mike are outstanding. He is a pleasure to deal with and understands his role as the face of this business to us customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Top notch! From my first call, everything went smoothly. Dropped off my car in the early morning, was given a ride home, by the afternoon I had a diagnosis that was emailed to me with pictures and then another call to explain it all. No pressure to fix all issues but expressed concerned to fix the safety/road worthy issues. Waited one day to get parts (that are now warrantied), got another call that my car was ready, fixes were explained and I was offered to see old parts. Every staff member (some are related so family owned/feel) were in good spirits and that feels good to be around. Even the technician actually said he was happy to test drive with me because he was happy to have fixed my chugging problem. He had pride in is work and I appreciated it. One more thing to note is that I am a female and never felt like I was being taken advantage of like I had felt in other shops. Having recently moved to Camarillo, I have now found my future auto shop and will look forward to the next service I have with them.

I brought my RV in for an overall checkup and, especially, to see if they could fix my diesels broken glow plug. They were unable to remove it and fortunately were aware that forcing could have led to very costly repairs. They did recommend another shop to fix this. In addition to the listed work, they also checked my generator and topped up my diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).I have been taking my RV to J&K for several years now and am always impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their work.

Mike is a really nice guy. However, I was disappointed with J&K after this visit. First, the job was supposed to be a 2 hour job. It turned out to be an 8 hr job. I did add the job if removing my door awning but, that should have taken 6 extra hours. I removed 90 percent of the awning. All J&K had to do was to remove the last plate. I was still charged full price. J&K left some kind of a black putty in the awning screw hole and left a golf ball size piece of putty sticking out. I contacted Mike and he told me to just scrape it off. Didnt work. The putty still was not hard.J&K left 2 additional awning holes not plugged. The last thing was Mike told me they checked the MH roof and all was good.That was not true. I know I have some severe lamanent cover roof issues. It was obvious no one looked at the roof. Dont believe I will be back.

These guys are AWESOME! We took our 5th wheel in because the bedroom slide stopped working. Took it in on Monday, Mike & his crew got right on it, had me answer & estimate of repairs within 24 hours. I authorized the repairs & on Wednesday at around 2:00 I received a call from Mike telling me that the 5th wheel is done & the slide is working great again.The guys at J&K are an amazing shop, they know what theyre doing and do it TOP NOTCH. Took a used car my nephew was looking to buy to Jerrys for inspection. They did a very thorough inspection and gave an estimate for needed repairs and a recommended importance / urgency for each. The news was good with only a few small things that HAD to get done. With the report on hand though, my nephew was able to negotiate more than 3 times of what the inspection cost off the purchase price of the vehicle. Went in thinking I had a bad fuel pump. I had previously taken my car to a AAA recommended shop. They told me my whole electrical system was shot and maybe needed a new computer. I said nope and took it to J&K still thinking I had a bad fuel pump. Turns out it was just a bad fuse (facepalm). Any other place wouldve changed the fuel pump but they are very trust worthy and do great work. Never going anywhere else again.

Murphys Law always strikes at the most inopportune times; I had what I believed to be a battery/alternator issue that arose 2 days before our camping trip leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I had to get a heavy duty rig to tow my coach to J&K. They were able to address the issues concerning my battery, ruled out the alternator and checked for additional electrical gremlins before our trip and getting us back on the road. Enjoy the convenience location for servicing our RV. Very knowledgeable with RV troubleshooting and repair. A little pricey but in the end the repair of our water heater appeared to be professional done. I have had to wait on parts availability which can be unpredictable and frustrating but in the end I feel confident of their work.Had a slide issue that was very challenging due to poor engineering design and I want to Thank Mike for all he’s knowledgeable expertise in making it work 👍We will continue use J&K for all our RV maintenance and repairs. I had a few issues on my 2008 Lance truck camper and all of them were handled with expert repair. It was all done on the day of my appointment and finished before close of business. Vehicle: 1997 F-350 7.3l diesel. Hadnt seen a mechanic in 20 years. It was a good time to see Matt, Miguel, and Lauren at J&K. I learned that ball joints do not last the life of the vehicle. But what really got my attention is that Matt and Miguel got the driver door to work from the inside and the outside. Great service. Good humor. Hard working bunch. Great communicators. Two more vehicles will be down to see them in the near future along with our fifth wheel. They work on RVs too.

Mike Oakley (and his Team) are so knowledgeable with all facets of the Rv. He knew exactly what the problem was based on my verbal description and once verify - he was able to repair the dash AC unit as diagnosed. The front end alignment was done as well and drives like a champ now! He pointed out initially some possible scenarios whereby there may not be enough adjustment left due to wear and vehicle weights/loads etc - which I appreciated. I have had other repairs and service done in the past with my previous RV and have always been satisfied with the value, quality and cost which = TRUST! They have an automotive side/Bldg too which I am going to try in the near future for my breaks on my Honda Odysee.

Last year a friend referred me to J&K to service my Tiffin Allegro Bus and it’s the best decision I have made for RV service. They can do just about anything, inside or out, and it will get done right. My wife and I started going to J & K Automotive in March 2015 when we purchased a 2006 Motorhome. Because of past bad experiences, when I take a vehicle to a shop new to me, Im always concerned they might try to stick it to me. And with J & K, I was doubly hesitant because my son in law had taken his trailer to J & K in 2013 and got an incorrect diagnosis on his water heater and it cost him a $100 diagnostic fee. But I wanted to give J & K a second chance because I live in Camarillo. We just recently purchased a 2014 Winnebago Sightseer which weve already taken twice to J & K. After going to J & K now for almost 2 years, I trust J & K to correctly diagnose any problems and fix it in a timely and efficient manner. I also trust that they will not try to overcharge for their labor or parts. They do their utmost to get the parts and the repair done as soon as possible. They always seem able to fit me in the same or next day when I call. The staff at J & K are friendly, courteous and professional, especially Mike Oakley who I deal with. The major problem I had with the Sightseer should have been identified and fixed by the RV Dealer I purchased it from. Even though we were past the 15 day warranty, the dealer reimbursed us for J & Ks repair bill of $1098 thanks in part to Mikes write up on the invoice and the photos he took for me. I highly recommend this shop if you want your Motorhome serviced or repaired.

Professional shop that I can trust. I am a single woman with very little mechanic savvy. My sons car is an old Toyota Prius and they take great care of his car. If I could give this place a zero for EPIC FAIL I would.We brought our truck here several weeks ago for a fuel leak and asked them to check the fuel pump and replace it if necessary. They said the problem wasn’t the fuel pump it was something different. They kept our truck for almost 3 weeks, during which time they called us on numerous occasions to tell us we needed to replace this part and that part. Well after all was said and done, the original quote of $800 was now $4700! Our truck isn’t worth $4700. But we pay because we need the vehicle, and go home. During the next few days we notice we are leaking fuel and a substantial rate. We call the shop, and J&K states “we stand behind our work for 1 year. If anything goes wrong we’ll fix it for free”. So we take the truck back. This time they keep it for another 2 weeks. We have to call them and ask when it will be ready, only to find out now we need to replace the fuel pump for another $500-600 !!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So all along the issue was the fuel pump which we brought it there in the first place to check and they replaced thousands of dollars’ worth of parts that probably didn’t need to be replaced. RIP OFF!!! I would never take another vehicle to this business. Next stop – the BBB.

A repair made to my RV by J & K Auto/ RV that leaked sewage on to the ground continuously.The high ratings on the internet for J & K Auto/RV, Camarillo got me sucked in for a RV repair,…… plus J & K’s website proclaiming “Exceptional Auto repair” and under RV repair/experience …. “Experienced RVer/Automotive technician who has over 14 years experience………”How could I go so wrong with a company rated so highly?My Micro Mini RV needed the entire waste water piping repaired plus some other things. 7 days later I picked up my RV. I loaded up the RV to go on an extended trip. 3 days after leaving home and hundreds of miles from home I discovered sewage dripping on the ground even though the black water valve was closed. That was bad news. I didn’t know why sewage was dripping on the ground. There were no RV repairs where I was traveling, and I had no tools. My travel companion is an invalid and can barely walk. I had no choice but to terminate the trip early and head back home.Here is what I found after I got back home and had tools available.1.The nuts of the installation bolts for both the gray and black water Bladex valves were completely loose and could have fallen off the RV anytime. These nuts were never tightened. The black water valve leaked badly, the gray water did not in spite of loose nuts.2.The clearance from the underside of the waste water piping to the ground was a mere 8”. Driving through a gutter/ ditch/ low point etc into and out of gas stations or any other business could have destroyed the low hanging waste water piping anytime. It required extreme caution to avoid ripping the newly installed low hanging piping off the RV.I have videos, pictures of the newly installed waste water system by J & K Auto/RV.I decided against taking my crippled RV back to J & K Auto/RV for fear of more bad repairs.Both the leaking Bladex Valve (s) and the low hanging waste water piping have since been repaired professionally. The valves no longer leak, the piping is at least 2” higher.I lost part of a trip I cannot replace, suffered anxiety and stress that nobody needs, and money flushed down the toilet.I will not ever return to J & K Auto/RV, nor do I ever want to hear from this business. I came to trust and I got cheated and ripped off.How many of the 5 star reviews are fake?
