Absolutely loved my dining experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Studio City! Every dish was a delight, with flavors so rich and satisfying that each bite felt like a culinary journey. The ramen bowls were perfectly balanced, with tender noodles and savory broths that truly highlight their mastery of Japanese cuisine. But what made our visit truly exceptional was the warm customer service. Sofia, Kahlia, and Synthia, our servers, went above and beyond to ensure our meal was memorable, offering recommendations with a smile and attending to our every need with genuine care. This is a gem of a spot that I cant recommend enough. Whether youre a ramen aficionado or just looking for a cozy place to enjoy a meal, JINYA Ramen Bar wont disappoint!

This is my favorite ramen joint! The flavors really hit the spot every time. I love their crispy chicken (kaarage) and I always get the premium red tonkatsu ramen (spicy level 3). I go with my boyfriend who always gets the Jinya tonkatsu black. It’s really delicious!

Super delicious food! The service was great and quick (shout-out to Nora)! We ordered the spicy chicken ramen and the tonkotsu ramen. My favorite was the tonkotsu, the pork was so soft and flavorful! We will definitely be back and recommending this place to our friends.

Been going to Jinya for a few years now, actually discovered it in a magazine while I was flying back to L.A. I much prefer this location over Burbank just based solely on customer service. It can get busy here but I usually miss the rush by dining around 1-2pm. The spicy chicken ramen is my favorite, always comes put fast and SUPER hot. Also love the cauliflower and Brussel sprouts as an starter. Recently found out that they have a kids meal that could almost feed an adult based on the amount of food served. My only knock lately is that they literally give you two small portions of chicken in the ramen which is disappointing for $20. I do like that the option for hot sauce is now at the table. Parking is underneath with elevator access, steep ramp so be careful driving and spaces are very close together. But it is one of my go-to spots for the portions, quickness of service and taste.

My ten-year-old loves this place! Nora was our waitress tonight, and she was just lovely. She was very friendly and attentive with all of her tables. We live in the neighborhood and have come here a few times. The food never disappoints, the staff is wonderful, and the parking is free. Of course, well be back again!

Crowded with a lot of empty tables, but you still wait an hour because theres a process. Been coming here for over 20 years and after new management took over it completely makes no sense now. Park underground, its easier. Staff are drones. Food taste a bit different than it does year after year but still delicious. If youre going to have to make your customers wait so long, extend happy hour. The best thing besides the food was Andrew. 5 stars for him, but the rest of the staff 0, they looked miserable and werent polite or friendly, just textbook and not even textbook customer service just talked through you, no feeling. Andrew was friendly, quick, polite, informative, and the best staff member they had working the day we went, the other staff has to take note, he CARED. If management is reading this, table turn over brings in more money than empty seats for an hour. Go back to common sense. When you have regulars complaining to each other about the seating, empty seats and wait, you know youve got a problem.

Ambiance and service here were good. The food js also good. Although the ramen places at Sawtelle are much tastier, this place is still decent if you are craving for ramen and don’t want to make a long drive to Sawtelle. Although this place has a long waitlist, its still worth to give it a try

We definitely come here way too often….. it’s just so delicious! The happy hour deals help.We always dine in, we’ve never ordered before. But everytime we come they’re putting out TONS of mobile orders. Seems like they have a good system in place.Our typical order is the tonkutsu black with extra chashu and extra ramen egg. It’s always consistent and delicious, we’ve never had food that didn’t hit the spot here. We didn’t do the panna cotta this time, but if you have room after your meal it’s divineeee!They were PARTICULARLY fast today! Loved it cause we always come hungry so we can feast. Nora was so pleasant, she recommended the Lychee Cucumber cocktail and it was so refreshing and delicious! The rest of the staff was spectacular as well, we interacted with four other people who dropped off food, checked how we were doing, refilled our drinks, picked up our plates. We didn’t have to call anyone over for anything, they all showed up when we needed them.Highly recommend- we’ve had all kinds of ramen spots around LA but we keep coming back to Jinya! :)

Located in a strip mall center near Marshalls and Michaels they excellent parking which is a luxury for this area. Has a very cozy indoor and a pretty good size outside patio area. First time here I ordered the spicy chicken ramen, Salmon tacos, spicy tuna cones. The cone and tacos arrived pretty quick and despite the novelty upon tasting them I could take or leave next visit. They didnt taste bad but they didnt blow my mind either. The presentation was nice but again it didnt have a memorable taste profile, kinda bland. The ramen followed, and it was tasty for sure with a nice presentation. Now I did order the spicy... It has nice flavor but not quite any kick or bite. I would say if you wanted that go ahead and order the hot level as they give you a choice of mild, spicy and hot. Kick in for the seasoned egg. It was perfect, the yolk was not overcooked. It was nice and runny. Service was great. Side note the soy sauce was not on table, youll have to request it. There are condiments on table but no soy sauce. Ill come back and order the a hot level ramen and see how I fare with it.

We had to wait a few mins to get a table on a weekday around 8.30 pm. The restaurant has vegan food options. We tried Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, Impossible bun and Impossible Gyoza and Mochi Ice Cream. All the food was great. The person waiting on us gave good service! I came here for the first time with a friend whos a regular. They gave plenty of recommendations, as did our server Nora, and I couldnt have been happier with what I got. Everything is customisable, which is great for someone like me who hates mushrooms but loves everything else in the pork chashu bowl. Nora and the rest of the staff we interacted with were sweet and attentive. Im definitely coming back.

This was our first time here. We ordered the wonton chicken ramen soup and Orion beer plus appetizers. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our server Kahlia was great! She was very patient with us and took the time to explain the menu since we were not familiar with the restaurant. She recommended her favorite menu items and were glad she did. Okay I’ll start by saying why I’m rating 2 stars. Simply put, we were forgotten about. Our server never came back to ask us what ramen we wanted to order. We had ordered a drink & appetizer and then she just never came back. Nobody came to check on us. We waited almost half an hour at our table before waving down another server and told her we never got to place our ramen order. That server took our ramen order right away and eventually our original server came back to apologize but then we never saw her again. We eventually got our ramen and our full check and that was that. No other apology, no offering of any kind, as if nothing went wrong. I have a lot of patience, but I can guarantee few people would be willing to wait at their table for almost half an hour being ignored/forgotten…mistakes happen and we are human, but the least we could’ve gotten was a drink refill….& the positive would be that the Brussel sprouts were great and my spicy ramen bowl was flavorful. Highly doubtful we will come back due to lack of service/responsibility when a big mistake like that happened.

Been coming here for years but the flavor of the food is not always consistent, ramen to go is cool not hot and the service is terrible. It always feels like you are bothering the server and they pick and choose who they want to be cordial to. I prefer to pay the premium and have Grubhub deliver from a different location even though the studio city location is 2 minutes away. Rudeness here has been consistent, it never fails. K

Tonight was my mom and I second time coming here & Nora served us very professionally and kind!I got Tonkostu black ramen w/pork chasu which was very rich and delicious. My mom got vegetarian ramen w/chicken she liked it but instead of thick noodles she said thin noodles would have been better. Seating inside and out with good music playing. Decided at the last minute to have noodles for lunch. Googled search and JINYA was the closest to us… Arrived when they opened, which was 11am on a Wednesday morning. No crowds at all. Only one couple seated outside and they were waiting on their food. Took a few minutes to decide what to eat, since I’ve never been to this particular ramen spot. Their menu is completely different online than the menu you scan at the entrance. What I originally decided on was no longer on their menu.. Waitress helped me decide on a vegan option. She was very nice and patient with me. However; I am rating 1 stars because we waited almost a whole hour for one order. Don’t forget; I mentioned we got there when they opened so no crowd at all Several people arrived after me and were seated and their food was served in a timely manner… Very disappointed in the long wait… I thought they had to go out in the backyard and cut the cabbage down or something. The way they took so long for one freaking veggie order… There are other noodle spots around LA I will go to. Don’t think I’ll be back there. The food was JUST OKAY! Nothing special about it, at all. I was really hoping to get that ‘MMM’ taste but it just wasn’t there. $19 for small ramen noodles with a small side of white rice & a hand full of cabbage - not sure if that’s normal. Not sure if the small portion was do to having a to-go order…But, yeah.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while buying a late night ramen place while visiting LA. Their original broth brings a new revision to the standard shoyu based broth and is amazing. The egg noodle they use is brilliant and cooked just the way i like it. The charsu meat is so tender and flavorful it literally melts in your mouth. The cherry on the top for this particular ramen bar would have to be their attentive and very friendly staff. Id definitely refer this location to any ramen fan!

I have visited Japan to enjoy food over 5 times. Tacoyaki is legit and tasty. Crispy outside and soft inside with fresh and right amount of chewy octupus.Chachacha thic noodles were way better than thin ones for texture but it is just for my preference. Fried chicken was crispy, juicy, flavorful and everything. Chicken broth was not my taste but both pork broth and chicken one were very rich.100% recommend and will come back.

A cute little Ramen spot, situated conveniently next to a few home good stores right on Ventura Blvd. Ive always had great experiences here as far as for customer service and being seated in a timely manner. Be warned that some of the noodle bowls can be very very salty. The pork Chasu black has great pork in it but is very salty. My sisters ordered the vegan bowl (which I think is called the Flying something) said that theirs was very salty as well. Shame! but they have other items that are just great.. the chicken Ramen wins in my book.

Is it (serious day today) i would put 5 atars on the service but i did not have any of the staff genuinely smile. Its like they had a bad day today.Tried this place because of multiple friends recommendation. Got the black tonkatsu. Thier version of shio ramen and of course our favorite takoyaki. (Takoyaki btw is great) + 2 soda the serving size is not as big as the other places that we go to. Atmosphere is high end. Place is clean food was tasty. Will come back to try other ramen and for the takoyaki. Bill came to about 53$ plus tip.

The foods are all great, we loved it. If you like ramen you have to try theirs and wont regret it. We had Tonkatsu black, JINYA Tonkatsu original, shrimp wonton ramen, impossible bun, JINYA bun, takoyaki and Brussels sprout tempura. JINYA bun, the pork is soft, juicy and tasty. I had Tontaksu black ramen, the noodles, the egg, and the meat, so delicious. Must try!

Typically has a long wait, but even though the lady told us it would take 30-40 minutes it only took 15 minutes. They have heaters out on the patio (up above) so you can still sit outside when its cold - this is great because they have very little seating indoors. I love all the vegan options they have here! I recently tried their newest Spicy Vegan Ramen and it was divine. Jinya has the best toppings of all the various ramen places I have been. The servers are always kind and constantly check on you - a great location!

I’m a ramen/noodle snob. Ate ramen in Japan so many times. Only tried the original tonkatsu ramen with thick noodles. Comes with an egg, tender pork meat, and spinach. The spinach weirdly worked well with it. I would rate it like an 8/9 out of 10 out of all the tonkatsu ramens that I’ve eaten. Rich broth with chewy thick perfectly cooked noodles. Gyoza was aiight lol but that tonkatsu ramen was amazing!

It had good flavor, was cooked well and very filling! Spicy creamy shrimp tempura was also delicious. Very soft tender and juicy inside. The spicy tuna and salmon Cones were also really tasty and a good snack. They have a nice outdoor seating area with some heaters and you can park on the street. Incredible, my husband and I had been here three years ago and like it. We returned today and we were pleasantly surprised to see it’s menu get a new twist. The dishes were delectable and fresh. The team was on Fire 🔥 and dished it out like no other. The ambiance was loud and modern. The bathroom is impressive. Lightning is dim and comfortable. Great place to eat ramen I got the spicy Chicken and it was 100% on point we also got starters and kids plate and a combo needless to say it was all completely delicious. There is a long wait! Two people is about 40 min and 4+ the wait is 1 hour, if you’re going during the evening on the weekend. They don’t take reservations either. There is valet parking, but if you don’t find any free above ground parking, drive downstairs to underground parking - there is plenty! You can also park your bike right next to the place (there are those special bicycle bars) and not worry about it. The atmosphere is nice and classy. Prices are fair! Vegetarian options.

Don’t waste your timeOrdered through their app and the only thing they got right in my order was edamame.On top of waiting at the restaurant for 15 additional minutes only to have to approach the host again to ask for my meal. Always a 20-30 minute wait but it goes fast. They will text you when your table is ready. Thankfully there is Homegoods that will keep your wife company while you wait. Unfortunately, that might cost you an additional $100 in seasonal items that you probably don’t need. So please add that to your expense assumption when going to Jinya. Aside from that the Ramen is amazing and always consistent. We going between 2-4 to minimize the wait time. By far one of the best Ramen spots.

Oh man the tonkotsu was on point. Strong broth so it was full of flavor. The waitresses were super kind and friendly. Its a bit pricey for a bowl of ramen, but once in a while its worth it. If you dont go for the ramen, go for the beautifully designed bathroom.

I love Jinya! Its my favorite Ramen joint in the West. As a Native Hawaiian now living in AZ, I miss the easy to find Ramen spots of Hawaii. I love this place! First it has complimentary valet parking. The serving staff was super friendly even though I arrived close to closing time. They provided kids chopstick helpers and were super accommodating with a few changes we requested. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious! I had the black garlic soup. Fantastic! Prices were comparable to other ramen restaurants Ive eaten at, their $7 kids meal is really really filling with perfect portions for my 11 year old and 7 year old. I highly recommend.

So Im a huge fan of Jinya and Atlanta which open sometime last year I believe. When we got to La I told my sister I was hungry and I would like Ramen. She said that she knew of a Ramen place that her meat-eater friends liked that also had vegan ramen on the menu and then she would take me there. I didnt realize that she was taking me to jinya until we arrived which I found hilarious. I love jinya so I was fine with eating there and I tried their special Ramen which was a seafood Ramen. They were very kind and allow me to switch out the thick noodles for the thin noodles which are my personal favorite. We sat there for a while and talked a little bit after a meal and nobody bothered us and we werent really in the way cuz it was a little bit slow and it was a very pleasant meal with a very pleasant staff.

I know inflation is going up, but what the actual hell is with them changing their take out bowl sizes. The bowls are so tiny compared to their original black take out bowls. I’m giving them 2 stars for the s**tshow when we arrived at 7:05 to pick up an order that was placed at 6:00 and to be ready at 7:00. It’s a cluster of delivery drivers rushing up in front of live customers and flashing their phones in the face of the host and hostess to the point that there is no line and if you’re not pushy and rude you won’t get any attention. Finally at about 10 minutes of waiting we jumped in and were told our order was not ready and would be another 20 to 30 minutes. Well, that turned our to be 50 minutes with no apologies for the wait and returning home to find just warm ramen. As for the food rating, we were not in a mood to enjoy it after this experience. I get it that you might not have the staff to keep up with it, so why don’t you shut down the delivery drivers orders and take care of the customers who want to pick it up themselves.
