Great service! The employee of the month helped me out in and out. Big smile… all comfortable in the presence of my truck. The crew did everything by the book. Checked out my truck from all aspect (ie tire pressure, cleaned windows and added my oil… lubed it up real good. They also covered my leather seats with a plastic covering. Loved it . Good job. Engine oil and filter service was pretty quick.. But when I saw the Service Checklist on my invoice I got really disappointed on a couple items… Vacuum Floors Check, Front Only!! - Wash Exterior Windows Check, Completed !! (They didn’t vacuum the carpet nor clean the windows)That’s the front floor pictures that they vacuumed and the windows that they cleaned. It’s hard to get a good position for a picture on the window but if zoom in you definitely can tell that never was touched..;(.Now I don’t know what is true or not about what is listed in the a Invoice, uh ..March 09/24 at around 2pmJiffy Lube #1247

Had a fantastic experience at this Jiffy Lube. We went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. We left the car to have lunch and came back and Josh came up to us and said that the engine filter is a little dirty but could definitely last until the next oil change. He also said that we didn’t need to rotate the tires since the ones in the back were still the better tires and that saved us $25. Extremely honest and just got the job done with zero hassle. Milli in the office was also very nice and helpful. We will definitely be going back for our next oil change.

Asked twice if they could just check the plastic skid plate below front of vehicle as it was hanging a little low. They told me yes they would do a quick tie down with a zip tie but did nothing. Yet they made sure to convince me to urgently replace air filters and brake line service transmission flush and tires and so many more services. Not genuine good service just what they could get out of your pockets

I went in for an oil change today. The entire team was exceptionally professional. The lead automotive technician found a pinhole oil leak during the inspection. Even though he wasn’t able to perform the oil change because of this leak, he advised that I get the part replaced through the dealer, topped off the oil, corrected a brake light, and provided a written explanation to give to the dealer of what needs to be replaced. I will go back here next time I need an oil change.

I asked to have the tires rotated and maybe they decided that wasn’t necessary because they didn’t, but didn’t mention it at checkout either They also said they washed the exterior windows, which they didnt. Makes me wonder what else wasn’t completed that wasn’t obvious to me.

Very expensive. Regular oil change price is $50 (labor), here $80. I asked not to touch anything inside the car or change any settings. After leaving, a change in the front light settings and a change in the position of the drivers seat were discovered. In addition, there was a sticker stuck on the windshield, the adhesive from which is difficult to remove.

I used Jiffy Lube in Goleta to perform an oil change. Appointments are unnecessary. The whole process took about a half hour. There are four service bays and I chose a line and remained in the car and a service technician took my information. They were careful to protect the interior of the car and sterilized the steering wheel and interior. After they completed the work they gave me a detailed report on the work they did and gave recommendations on other items that might need attention. The staff was friendly and professional and the quality of the work was excellent. Apparently they do perform others automotive services but I only got an oil change. Super convenient for a quick oil change.

The tech’s had to fix two stripped lug nuts caused by the Jiffy Lube in SB. This is the 2nd time that location has done that. They were great about it, but it took another 45 min of waiting. Not their fault, but certainly changed my day of getting things done!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!I needed an oil change 911on a Saturday. I called JIFFY LUBE while I was pulling in their driveway. I was told that there was no appointment necessary. I could come in right away. I arrived 2minutes later. My 1st point of contact was George. He was knowledgeable and professional. He understood my vehicles needs. He explained what my vehicle needed and what was going to be inspected. 30 minutes later, my vehicle was ready to go! I was hopping in my vehicle and Christian was cleaning my windows. He reassured me that my services were executed with safety and care. Great experience! I will keep coming back.

TIM JARNAGIN IS THE BEST!!! I went to get my oil changed a few weeks ago on October 5th, and this was the best service I had ever received. The staff is incredibly friendly and understanding and Tim made sure to explain things I didn’t understand thoroughly! Everyone was extremely charismatic and welcoming, literally the nicest people I have met here so far. I truly recommend this JiffyLube for anyone in the Santa Barbara area, hands down. I went here to get my oil changed. It seemed like it went well and all was good, but about a week later my car starting smelling really bad and was smoking and burning exhaust and their was some kind of black stuff on the tailpipe. The oil level dipstick showed that it was extremely overfilled and I now have to get my car towed to another mechanic to fix the problems as a result of this oversight. So I wouldn’t recommend getting your oil changed here.

Excellent oil change service! Who knew they offered tires too! The tires wl quote they gave me was more than 10% higher than I could get them elsewhere, and Im sure the oil change is too. But they seem to check everything, even my cabin air filter which needed changing. This is twice now in recent months that Ive been there, they are so convenient I will probably continue to go.

Beware. This place is a rip off. They tried charging my daughter that goes to UCSB almost $200 for an oil change. Glad I raised her smarter than that.Edited review to respond to their response: Them saying that a special oil is needed (inferring a very high cost), is part of their scamming people on the high cost of their oil change. Do your own research. The customer cost for the best recommended oil and filter from Autozone for her car is less than $60 (yes you can use other oils) and they want $200. If an oil change takes 1/2 hour, that’s $280 hour for oil changes. I am definitely in the wrong business.

I had an oil change 2 months ago. I then found your workers put an extra quart above the limit. I had to go back to jiffy lube and have them drain out the extra oil. They did apologize for their error. Offered no compensation regarding their error, such as a reduction in my next oil change, etc. not happy with their service.

I’ve had issues with other local shops (e.g. Jiffy Lube in Santa Barbara) not being able to complete all the tasks needed, or not being able to get the billing set up. Part Two(2023): I’m back at it again with another review! Tim and the team are literally excellent people who I will always trust with my car. As someone who knows nothing about cars and doesn’t care (that much) to learn, I have always felt taken care of by him and him wonderfully kind team. They were very busy and working hard to move customers. All of my contacts with the Jiffy Lube team were very polite and direct. Very professional and friendly. I only had one disappointment in that the young lady who showed my brake fluid test to me said that it appeared to need changing, and she told me how much, but she never asked if I wanted it done. Slow down just a second and ask. I was contemplating but without being asked I assumed they really didn’t want the extra work, perhaps because they were busy. But honestly that was small fries. The whole thing was a great experience. You might get a soda machine in the waiting area.

My oil hanger came with : windows cleaning and interior vacuum., when I ask if they did it they said yes . When I got in my truck there was still dirt and windows weren’t cleaned. All that money I paid for the service was not worth it. Lying to your customers is not a way of getting them back. I will not return to this location. Not trustworthy.

They are ok. Price has gone up considerably for an oil change, they told me leaks but could not diagnosis or offer a quote on fixing them. They cleaned the mirrors leaving them so out of a usable angle that it took me 4 tries to get the passenger side (first was just popping it back to normal) one correct, and I didnt realize it until I was on the road

I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism, friendliness, and honesty the employees have here. Went there for an oil change and got scammed... Guy at the desk was saying my Volkswagen needed some special oil because it is a german car. Previously had a Honda and this was my first oil change with a Volkswagen car so assumed they knew best. Charged me $200+ for just an oil change and what they call fuel additives. A month later and my car was leaking oil, turned out they did not tighten the oil cap. Luckily the Jiffy Lube near my house in LA replaced the oil for free, even mentioning that this place scammed me and it should have been no more than $100. They even said it is common that they use the oh you need special up-charged oil that the manufacturer requires as a way to swindle people.

First time going to Goleta Jiffy Lube. It was a really good experience. I will be going back. Its a full service shop. Car repairs, tires & more. Very convenient. Everyone was friendly. The people looking at my car were very helpful. The head mechanic, Tim, took the time to explain in detail what he found & gave me some estimates. He told me my alternator should be covered under a warranty with my regular mechanic and that I shouldnt have to pay $$$ for the part. He was right! I left Jiffy Lube with an oil change, new tires at a good price & knowledge to take to my mechanic. I really appreciated that. Thanks Tim!

I was really impressed with the quality of customer service at this Jiffy Lube! I had an oil change, smog check, and tire rotation. After driving away, my car had a shimmy when I got on the freeway that wasnt there before. I called the shop and let them know and Tim told me to come back in and he would balance my front tires free of charge! After Tim balanced my tires, the shimmy dissappeared!! How do you retain customers? You provide services for them without having to be asked. My headlight bulb was out, and when I pulled in to ask about a replacement, my tech got to work right away. They didnt have it in stock, so he told me to go over to AutoZone and get it and he would install it for me free of charge. Juan changed my bulb and got me back on the road quickly. EDIT: I spoke with a representative about the issue. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Hes currently helping me with the issue and there may have been a misunderstanding.Took my 2002 Honda Accord in last week as it was suddenly in critical condition. Turns out the wires to the spark plugs had been chewed out.The guys worked hard on it so much to the point that it had to stay overnight. Ultimately, they put in a new timing belt and some other parts but the engine still didnt turn over.I towed my car to a mechanic all the way to Oxnard, where I live, and he told me that the timing belt wasnt secured properly along with a few other things. This ended up bending the valves inside the engine.I was disappointed because the staff was very nice and helpful, but the work performed ended up doing more harm than good. I hope Jiffy Lube can help me fix this situation.

I went in today to get my oil changed and can honestly say this was the first time I’ve gone to an oil change center where I didn’t feel like I was ripped off. Once the check on my car was done, one of the associates came over to tell me that the tread on my tires was bad and he felt I needed them to be replaced. I was stressed because obviously tire changes are expensive, but he showed me what he meant and was obviously correct (it was bad). I am about to go on a road trip so I knew it had to be done but was stressed about the cost. He went as far as to make my oil change and air filter change free, because he could tell I was anxious about it. As a young woman I am always so stressed that car centers will look at me and know I don’t know what I’m talking about and take advantage, but I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing and wanted to be accommodating. I Didnt even know that was a thing with Jiffy Lube, Ive always assumed they only provided oil changes.First off, the Customer Service was above and beyond what Im used to. What really makes a difference imho, are the employees, Jiffy Lubes greatest asset. Of course they are trained and coached to offer upsell or premium services but when they explain and articulate the pros and cons in easily digestible language it shows that its not just about driving sales for the brand and they want you, the customer to make an educated decision on your car care.Loyalty is earned and today Ive been fortunate enough to meet Timothy Jarnagin who right out the gate provided stellar service. On top of that he went the extra mile and replaced a battery terminal part that I was meaning to fix for sometime but never had the time due to my chaotic work schedule. Not happy with this visit. I wanted an oil change. They wrote me up for super European synthetic oil and Gasoline additive. I didnt want those two items, their cost $37.00, I just want an oil change. The service person did take plenty of time gathering all of my personnel information which frankly makes me uncomfortable. I’ve heard stories from friends that they do this and loosen up your catalytic converter then visit your car later and easily remove it. First, they told me they would call me back ASAP to bring in my car once the parts had been ordered to fix it, then a week went by and I called them only to find out they had not ordered any parts and were not planning on it. I had them do an oil change a few weeks ago but recently I noticed that I had a leak, I didn’t know what? I took my car back thinking it could have been an oil leak? After looking underneath they couldn’t see where the leak was coming from so the had me go to another Jiffy Lube that could do more investigation. The other shop did a pressure test for my cooling system and found what was wrong. My boyfriend will do the work so I didn’t have them do it but they only charged me for 1/2 hr labor and didn’t charge me for the pressure test or the whole hr it took them! Jiffy Lube Goleta ruined the engine in my daughter’s car! She had the oil changed there, the drain plug rattled loose, dumping the oil and seizing the engine while she was in the freeway. Had to have an oil change on my Tacoma m, so I brought it in since I didnt have the tools to do it. Overall the service was quick (because an oil change shouldnt take long), but the pricing was terrible. $80+ for synthetic oil? I can get the oil for $30, $40 tops. So I had to go with conventional since it was cheaper and I didnt have the means then. Id avoid this place and do it yourself if possible.

After a Full synthetic oil change and tipping 30.00 for the pit crew, I came back to have my breaks done, I only needed pads, as my Van only had 120 KThey Replaced two rotors that actually did not need it... 925.00 for twoThey wanted over 1700.00 for a break job, the Van is a 2012 !!I Trusted Jiffy Lube and they took full advantage of me. They lost a good customer and a Tipper, Fairview in Goleta, kid behind the counter thinks everyone is stupid and Ill never go back, Ever Ever Ever...

Marco Mireles, Senior Customer Service Advisor, was most helpful in getting our brakes replaced. Mario, service tech, was superb at getting the brakes off and inspected and new pads and rotors on and showed us that besides the pads we would need new calpers on the front. They got them ordered for a Saturday delivery. Since it’s Covid and parts are hard to come by they were spot on the delivery! Everyone was professional and courteous!! I was planning to do a quick oil change with jiffylube.I brought my own oil and oil filter and just want to pay for the labor to change the oil without having to buy Jiffylubes oil.The associate quoted me $69 with a $10 charge included for bringing in my own oil. That was a really bad deal.While Big Brand tire across the street charges me $37 for an oil change for bringing in my own oil.Jiffylube did not earn my good rating today.I hope they offer me a better offer to do an oil change with bringing my own oil. Above and beyond for a quick oil change joint. And it looks like Jiffy is keeping everyone employed during covid. Thats really sweet of the owner, given the lower volume of business. Theyre all wearing masks to protect themselves and their clients from the spread of covid-19. social distancing isnt quite 6 feet due to the loud noises of a shop on a busy street corner, so just tell them if youd like them to step back from the window a bit. Got really good service from them.

Want a quick and fairly priced oil change and only trust a national brand then these are the guys for you. I never really went to Jiffy Lube before moving into the area since it wasnt convenient for me. But Ive gotten an oil change for my wifes car here a couple times so far and theyve been quick and reliable. Jiffy Lube can never replace Lube It All from back home in Jersey where my family and I have been taking our vehicles to for years but they are my best alternative for what I know Ill never probably have out here in Cali.
