Usually not one to complain as this has been my go to spot. All the guys are super sweet besides Jose.He was pretty condescending. I’ve never seen him there so maybe he’s new. But he decided to mansplain and then quoted me a price and then charged me 20 dollars more. 89.99 went to 109 and when I asked why and said I’ve been here so many times I haven’t been charged this. He explained the liters in my car which I knew. And I still followed with you still quoted me a specific price and I’ve never had an issue. He ignored me and said so you’re paying with card?I usually love this spot. But I won’t be returning if he’s there when my car is there.

I took my car to jiffy lube on labrea for a quick oil change that ended up taking over an hour. As I left the jiffy lube, I noticed a difference in my cars performance. Made it home but had a gig that night and went to crank it up and it wouldn’t start while making the worst noise any car could make.Come to find out, my car had NO OIL whatsoever. The stick was dry as dirt. I am now dealing with engine issues as a result of jiffy lube messing up my oil change. Took it to another mechanic and they said I should take it back to the people who broke it.Well jiffy lube has now had my car for over 3 weeks. Everyday they tell me that they will start repairs tomorrow and when tomorrow comes, my car has still not been touched or serviced. They are making me pay for all the repairs and parts as a result of their mistake. I’ve already spent over $300 with jiffy lube just to have my car stuck at their location and not receiving any attention.I highly recommend not going to jiffy lube. One of my biggest mistakes this year. I still don’t have my car by the way.UPDATE | APRIL 18, 2024I still don’t have my car back from jiffy lube. This is all a result of an oil change gone wrong. My car was perfectly fine before getting that oil change done.Jiffy lube contacted me on Sunday (April 14, 2024) to tell me they could no longer service my vehicle and asked me to come pick it up. I’m still trying to figure out how and why would I drive a broken car away from the technicians who broke it.This was very upsetting news and I immediately asked for the manager. I was advised that his leadership had been overstepped and that I should have not received that call. He ensured to me that I would receive a call on Monday of updates. It is now Thursday and I haven’t gotten any calls from jiffy lube.I’ve been missing out on gigs, being a freelance photographer here in LA and needing transportation to my many gigs a day. I’ve been using public transportation but unfortunately I can’t get everywhere fast enough being on a bus schedule. Still being patient with jiffy and hope to hear back from them soon.

I was told the wait would be 30-40 minutes but they didn’t get to my car until over an hour later. They said the brake and coolant fluids were low and recommended I pay extra to fill them up but I declined. I checked the fluid levels myself later and saw they were perfectly fine, either at or near max levels. That would have cost me over $150 more. He also recommended I change my cabin air filter, the same filter I replaced myself less than a year ago that is still in perfectly fine condition. I understand this upselling is part of JiffyLubes business model, but it shouldnt involve straight up lying.

I had a flat tire today which is a Sunday. This place changed our tire with a spare one without any fees. Jiffy Lube saved my day. I really appreciate the service. Thank you so much!!

My experience with Jiffy Lube was extremely disappointing. After dropping off my car for a routine oil change and tire rotation, I was shocked to find that upon driving away, my car began rattling uncontrollably. I promptly returned to Jiffy Lube, where they took an hour to address the issue. However, the nightmare didnt end there. As I was almost home, my car abruptly stopped and began smoking.Frantic calls to Jiffy Lube resulted in a delayed response, and when they finally arrived to retrieve the car, they assured me it would be ready first thing in the morning. Despite their promises, I found myself still waiting at 4:30 PM, with no word from the manager. It wasnt until I demanded to speak with the manager that any action was taken.This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. Not only did Jiffy Lube fail to fix the initial problem, but their inability to communicate and meet deadlines has left me stranded and inconvenienced. I would strongly advise against entrusting your vehicle to Jiffy Lube for any service.Not to mention.... im 9months pregnant and without a car.

Check-in was great - the young man was friendly, polite (good manners), and efficient. Oil change service was super fast. I also love how no one tried to upsell me anything. Seriously, I expected someone to try to get me to buy services I didnt need. I also had a coupon - loved that part - saved 20 bucks and was the reason I came in to Jiffy Lube in the first place. Waiting area was clean and tidy and the free coffee was very much appreciated! I will definitely be back. Great experience! Thank you!

SCAMMERS! / CON ARTIST LOCATION - BEWARE!Came in for an oil change. 5-6 employees working. Only 2 other customers at this location at Melrose and La Brea.I was told I needed a great variety of other things to be done for my vehicle as well. I opted to go ahead and have the cabin air filter replaced per their recommendation.Upon completion, I paid for all services, and left for a quick errand, 1 mile down the road. Immediately I smelled a weird smell from inside the car but could not tell what it was. I turned the interior fan on high, and now hear a loud motor noise when the fans are at high levels. It took me 5 minutes to complete this 2nd stop. When I began to drive again, smoke started rising from the hood of my car.I immediately called Jiffy Lube and told them what was happening and that I was returning immediately. When I arrived, there are now several cards waiting for service. Some employees see me, recognize that I was just there, see the smoke rising from my car, and come to check it out. Upon lifting the hood, the technicians had spilt oil all over the engine, and the manifold and it was burning.I relayed the issue about the loud motor noise with the fan, watched an employee pull out the cabin filter from behind my glove box, and it was THE SAME DIRTY OLD AIR FILTER.So, they encouraged me to spend more money, charged me for new products, and then put the old dirty product back in my car.Jason was the manager working. Apparently the owner of this location is Gaylan Carol, who I have tried to get in contact with multiple times. This person has not responded to any of my inquiries and now it has been 2 weeks.I’m done being screwed over by con artists in this city. CONSUMERS - DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION. ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE YOU TRUST VERIFY WHAT THEY TELL YOU IF YOU CAN.

WOW! I have never had such garbage service.3 HOURS TO JUST INSPECT MY CAR. They literally brought it into the bay and then looped it back around to the back of the line. People who arrived AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER ME FOR ACTUAL SERVICE LEFT BEFORE ME!They wouldn’t have even told me about the accidental movement if I hadn’t gone out and asked what the hell my car was doing at the back of the line!DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR PATRONAGE.
