I both bought and sold my IE home with Minnie Kim as my agent from JHT Group. The sale took place while we were overseas and Minnie made the process so easy. She is a trustworthy agent and she and the other agents worked together to do did everything to get our home sold in a timely manner when mortgage rates were sky high in winter 2023-2024. In fact it may be the one determining factor that can encourage or deter you from entering the real estate market, let alone the actual home buying process.John Chun embodies the very essence of an agent who truly represents and fights for the interests of his clients in the ring of real estate.I was at a stage of my life where I wanted to just look around to see what the market had to offer, but I didn’t know how to start seriously. I could look at all the listing websites and figure out what I like and what I don’t but at the end of the day I knew I needed someone on the inside track to help me get serious. But it’s hard to find someone to trust, especially when heavy finances are on the line. That’s when a well trusted friend of mine referred me to John. He successfully bought a house and was incredibly happy, so the credibility was there.We met on a Wednesday evening and got acquainted, went through what I was looking for and what kind of budget I had. John wasted no time and encouraged us to look at houses that weekend. He told me everything I needed to do in order to step into the process, and he also recommended the resources that I would need to get it done. In the two days before the weekend he researched and sent me listings that he thought were suited to my tastes. Granted, not all of them were amazing but the effort he put in was astounding.The weekend comes and we start shopping around. Many homes were not what they seemed as listed, and John pointed out many things as we went around home to home. He answered all of my questions, and educated me with information that was critical to my decision making process but I didn’t know I had to consider! John has an engineering background and so do I, so he knew what kind of technical information I was looking for, whether that be material aspects of the house or the numbers behind the process. He did all the calculations and I was amazed at his proficiency and proactivity. I double checked a few of his calculations and they were right on target.So it came to my surprise when I actually signed a purchase contract that same weekend. I didn’t realize it at the time, but John made it so easy to trust him that I felt comfortable enough to move forward with such a big decision in such a short time. Selling our home with the Jin Hong Team was exceptional! Everything went so smoothly and what I appreciated the most was their quick responses.Since this is all happening during the pandemic, we were worried about prospective buyers visiting our home while we were still residing there. They eased our worries by providing all the sanitizing needs: masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and even shoe covers were packaged in nice little one-time use packets for each visitor. They even taped a warning sign on the front door to make sure that everyone abided by the rules.The no-hassle, online form-signing was also great. We would be notified via email for any new Docusigns and only had to visit their office once for the final document signing.They represented our home in the best way possible through great pictures and videos. Their 3D-walk through was amazing and they spent very little getting this done.We purchased this home through them and sold the same house through them since we fully trust the team.
