The short version is...Jerod is fantastic, honest, smart, thorough, diligent, and gets great results. He goes above and beyond in every category.Couldnt recommend him more highly.We have used Jerods services twice. First, in 2014, to assist with selling my father’s home. It was easy to select Jerod over several other agents because I perceived i) his honesty and transparency, ii) the depth of knowledge he had of the market, and iii) his common-sense and straightforward way of communicating. Working with him on the sale, I became even more impressed by his thoroughness in every decision from initial listing price to managing the multiple offers we received. Ultimately I felt very comfortable that we received what I think was an optimal sale price.He had also helped organize the process of getting my fathers house in move-in condition. If you’ve ever worked with people involved in construction trades, you would expect all that work to be difficult to handle and be frustrating. Instead, because Jerod had great relationships with multiple contractors and handymen, he knew the right people to hire. They got the job done right. this was an immense comfort to me, working full time at the time and dealing with my fathers passing.In 2020, my wife and I were looking to relocate to Glendale from Santa Clarita. Jerod recommended a great agent who had knowledge of Glendale, being the honest person he was that he was not a specialist in Glendale. Jerod had obviously done his homework, as always, and was honest....and the agent he recommended was excellent.And Jerod did a great job selling our house in 2020, exhibiting all the characteristics and skills that I saw in 2014. Jerod was recommended to us by a friend. He was great about understanding what we were looking for and we had a short, but not-easy list. He patiently looked at over 30 houses for sale, until we were burnt out and then we found the house we now live in.He was extremely good about helping us through the process and quick to act appropriately, in consultation with us, when needed. In short, our first house buying experience was straightforward with his help and we found a great home, in a very sought after neighborhood. Thank you Jerod.

This was our second home buying experience. We used a different agent the first time and so, we can honestly say that Jerod is amazing! We felt so fortunate to have such a personable, knowledgeable, and caring real estate agent to guide us through the process of buying a home. He was with us every step of the way. Jerod made our home buying experience smooth. He then went above and beyond and has helped us find a renter for the home we needed to move out of. We would highly recommend Jerod for any real estate venture and look forward to working with him again in the future if we ever need to buy or sell again.

To summarize, Jerod exceeded expectations in every way.I had to sell a property in Santa Clarita and I live in San Diego. I asked professional colleagues in the area for a referral and Jerod was referred. I contacted Jerod and a few other agents and selected Jerod. Everything from that point went smooth and Jerod exceeded my expectations in every way.Jerod has extensive knowledge of the local market, was always available when I needed to talk to him and most importantly Jerod listened to my needs and responded directly to what was important to me - not what he wanted to respond to but what I needed.Being an out of town seller I had some unique needs and Jerod was able to help me by being at the property more frequently than would be required in a normal sale. Jerod also helped by providing suggestions for local trades-people to perform repairs or other tasks as needed.Jerods local market knowledge enabled the property to be exposed to the maximum number of buyers and agents and we were able to get into a contract very quickly. Jerod did great in negotiations, again, because he listed to me and focused on what was important to me. He didnt come back with offers or suggestions that did not line up with my needs.Jerod proved to be trustworthy and I never had to worry about Jerod working in my best interest. I met Jerod during an open house by accident but I am glad that I did. He made an immediate impact with me that he is an extremely polite, knowledgeable and a real professional.After my initial meeting with him, I decided that I want Jerod to be my Real Estate go to guy. When I started looking for a house in Santa Clarita I had no clue about the area and its neighborhood but he patiently walked me through the whole process and explained me about the city - which I am glad to say its my home now and I love this community.As you may all know, buying a house and moving is stressful in itself, I had few more challenges along the way but Jerod was always there when I needed him most. Jerod was AMAZING.He took his time, listened, figured out what we wanted. We were first time home buyers and didnt know all the little things that matter - but Jerod did and he was very smooth in the way he helped us figure it all out.He took the time to look at close to 20 properties with us to get to that point that you find your house and you know thats the one. How did we find him? Friends of ours recommended Jerod and we were not disappointed.Summary: When planning to buy in SCV, talk to Jerod, you wont be disappointed!

We are so lucky and fortunate to have found Jerod Mayer as our relator.We always wanted a relator whom we could trust and one of our friend recommended Jerod.He had a great knowledge of the surrounding areas and knew exactly what we were looking for.All our queries were promptly and clearly answered by him.He was extremely responsive, sincere, straightforward,patient, trustworthy and always on time.He worked with our budget and gave great advice about areas .We never felt forced to make an offer.He was patient with us as we toured homes and always told us the pros and cons.He really worked hard to get the house that we loved and was always postive.His professionalism, honesty and knowledge are much appreciated. Jerod really helped facilitate the purchase of our condo from start to finish, especially considering we were living many states away, unable to look at the house until after the purchase. He found a condo at a great price, negotiated with the sellers agent before the condo went on the market, and closed the deal. You could not ask for more in a real estate agent. He is highly recommended! Quick to answer calls and emails, and even willingly to work with us during the confusing ESGROW process.

Jerod spent months helping my aunt find a suitable townhouse even though she did not have her sights set on an expensive home. He never tried to hurry her in the decision making process as we experienced with the agent before him. This meant a lot to us as she felt overwhelmed at times. Very helpful gentleman. Jerod Mayer and his support staff are top notch professionals. They always responded to all forms of correspondence within an more than reasonable amount of time. There knowledge of the short sale market was unbelievably extensive. They took what I was told by others to be s stressful and drawn out process and made it into a quick and seamless transaction. They even went as far as helping me to find a wonderful rental. They gave me and my family the ability to move on with our lives and look toward new horizons and for this I am forever thankful.
