I just signed up for a car insurance policy through State Farm Because AAA was getting way too expensive. I got my policy through Leslie Gastelum and she was fantastic! She was super nice, professional, answered all my e-mails and phone calls right away! She did a fantastic job! Im glad to get such a good agent! Also I talked to another lady from the same office and she was super nice as well! Nice people working at this office! Im glad I made the switch to State Farm!

A few days ago I went here in State Farm (Jennifer Thibodeau) for a needed quick quote for Auto Insurance for 2 cars. Jessica was the one who helped and stayed in contact while I needed to work. This was my first ever experience with State Farm and it was such a good experience to be able to speak to one person the entire time and be walked through the process.I definitely appreciated that as someone who’s younger and is barely figuring out/understanding all their adult expenses. Ericka and Jessica helped explain everything to me so well, and got me a policy so quickly! From the very beginning she was helping me get the best policy for my situation, and that’s exactly what she did. She always called me back, always had the time for my questions, and overall had the patience to walk me through this process. I live in Mission Valley but I choose Jennifer Thibodraus State Farm office in Chula Vista because of the people, (especially Jessica), the service, & the thorough way they ensure Im getting the best products, the best overall coverage (for my age & situation) as well respecting my budget. Ive been a State Farm customer for 30 years (through six states, two dogs three cats & too many vehicles to mention) but Jennifers office is the best one of them all. For me, I dont like hassle, BS or lack of follow through. And, thankfully, I get none of that craziness from Jennifers SF Team. Do yourself a favor & call them or go by their offices. Its worth it. She is the nicest and easiest person to do business with that I have ever encountered. She stays on top of things so I don’t have to worry about them and when something comes up unexpectedly she is sooo quick to resolve ALL. THE. THINGS! I first started working Jennifer and her staff earlier this year when I formally moved my life to San Diego and needed to change over vehicles, etc. Overall it’s been good, but also largely unremarkable - I mean, it’s insurance, right? What really struck me was the assistance I received when trying to get boat insurance, something I didn’t even realize State Farm offers, at least not for big boats. We have been living aboard our larger, older “yacht” for almost a year now, and as is the case for boat insurance, there’s a huge rigamarole every year to get new quotes, fight for service, hope that hurricanes in one part of the country don’t inflate rates elsewhere… I had intended to just stick with what we have for ease, but when, after 2 weeks of being unable to get a quote or even be acknowledged and staring down the possibility of not having coverage in less than a week, I remembered Jennifer telling me that they could take care of me. Fast forward a day later (really, a day), she had me connected with Ericka who is her in-house boat person. Ericka answered all of my questions/concerns, I have a quote for a policy that is a hair less than what I was paying for the last year, but actually covers MORE, and importantly, the policy should be on-going/I won’t have to redo this again next year. Crazy, right? I am so excited. And relieved. Truly Ericka has been fantastic and I am so very glad that I thought to reach out. Thank you ladies for A+ service!As a side note - I did my homework in looking into State Farm how they are rated with regard to boaters insurance. When we first got our boat I had been led to believe that “boat/maritime only” companies were really the only option, particularly due to the age/size of our boat. When I went looking, I struggled to find any truly negative things out there on State Farm’s handling of claims/policies. What sealed the deal was confirmation from our marina that they had no negative experiences. As always, do your own homework, but I would definitely add State Farm and (Jennifer’s office!) to your list for consideration.

Ive been a StateFarm policyholder since I first purchased my home in 2014. Sabrina Dixon was my first insurance agent but I rarely dealt with Sabrina. After Sabrina retired I happen to meet Jennifer and she explained to me that she had taken over some of Sabrina’s clients. I was all ready to transfer my policy to Farmer’s but after speaking with Jennifer for about an hour, she went over my policy that I had at the time and found out that I wasnt covered in a lot of areas that I thought I was covered in. She asked me what I wanted to be covered on my house and also personal items. Jennifer went step by step what the different coverage prices were and made me feel VERY COMFORTABLE!! With me being a new homeowner my parents always said you can always find something cheaper but does the company make you feel safe and comfortable and COVERED? So yes after speaking with my wife and talking to Jennifer she makes my family and I feel safe & covered! Very very important! Also Jennifer is a comic con fan so yeah Im gonna stick with Jennifer & StateFarm for my house/personal/jewelry/car insurance. Great customer service! As soon as I entered I was greeted by Paola at the front desk. Offered me a coffee/ water and asked me how she could help me during my visit at State Farm’s. She asked a couple of questions then she introduced me to her fellow colleague Samatha. Samatha was great as well! She was able to give me a car insurance quote quickly and for life insurance which I was only going in for car insurance. Never thought about life insurance before but I’m glad that Samatha introduce me to it.
