Jeff is fantastic and a highly talented photographer. Our photos are so beautiful and artistic, I can’t stop looking at them! The DJ at my wedding said Jeff was amazing to work with. If you need a wedding photographer, go with Jeff. The photos are perfect and Omgosh when the sun sets, be prepared to be amazed.

To put It simply, Jeff is the best! With Tyler and I both being camera shy, we were a little nervous going into it but his excitement and the passion he has for his craft made us excited too and made us feel completely comfortable. This man! I can not give him enough praise!!!!! HE IS... AMAZING!!!! So easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable while taking photos! We hired Jeff for our wedding at Heavenlys Lakeview Lodge in South Lake Tahoe August 25, 2019. I found his info through The Knot and really wanted someone who could capture the amazing views from the venue and also capture great close-ups - and he did not disappoint!!! I do not recall the exact package we purchased but it also included an engagement shoot. I was blown away not only with the quality of the pictures both from our engagement shoot and our wedding but with Jeffs awesome personality and professionalism. We felt so awkward at the engagement shoot and he was able to make us look like professionals! Also, having him around on the wedding day was such a treat!!! My friends and family are still raving about how amazing his work and his personality were! You can really tell he is so passionate about his work and wants to capture pure perfect moments. I was shocked at the raw emotion he was able to catch and will cherish these photos forever. He is also so easy going and so easy to get along with, which immediately puts you at ease and makes better pictures!!His photograph turnover is also INSANE - he gets the pictures back to you ASAP so you can immediately enjoy them and share with family and friends. Words can not express how phenomenal Jeff Hall is! Jeff really goes above and beyond with his service and professionalism. He did our proposal photos, engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. His pictures capture true emotion, and he is a genius at what he does. He is also so quick with turn around, and loves to send sneak peaks and teasers out to you to view ahead of time.I am constantly asked about our photos and who our photographer was. What is even crazier is a lot of people already know his work which is a testament to his talent! I would absolutely hire him - a million times over. He is so kind, genuine, and the best wedding photographer out there.. period! :)

Jeff’s photography is simply impeccable - could not have been more satisfied with our wedding photos and day of experience! His artistic eye truly shines through, in any type of lighting, in any type of background setting… especially the sunset photos. We super appreciated that Jeff made the planning & execution process seamless for us on our special day. He took charge of the timeline and shooting locations (Point Loma, San Diego) and perfecting everyone’s poses. Jeff Hall was the VERY FIRST vendor we booked, and my now husband and I knew it before we even looked him up.I had seen Jeffs photos before and, without fail, every single photo made me stop in my tracks as they were gorgeous, unique and every one looked they had just come right out of a magazine. (If youre reading this, you already know what Im talking about -- and if you dont, follow his instagram NOW.) So I knew I had to call Jeff because, lets be real, what bride/couple doesnt want jaw-dropping, show-stopping photos?After talking to Jeff the first time, I knew my engagement/wedding wouldnt be the same without him. Then we did out engagement photos and it was obvious Jeff was not only one of the best, most friendly people youll ever meet, but that he cared more about you and your moment than anything. He didnt think about the time you booked him for, he cared about getting THE PERFECT shots (thats right, not just one, but he wanted every shot to be perfect). And if youre an adventure person, hes your guy - what other photographer will stand in a creek, almost drop his camera but still make sure he gets THE shot??He made it where by the time the wedding came around, we trusted him with everything - including having us walk through rocks and snow to get to a pier for, again THE PERFECT SHOT. Every vendor we worked with recognized he was a rockstar.Beyond that, he turned photos around quickly (and if youve ever waited for photos, you know how impatient that can be) and made sure the couple was SET for the day. Including having the photos you dont think you have time for at the moment, but he knows youll want later.SUMMARY: Consult with Jeff. Book Jeff. No matter where your wedding is, domestic, international, in your own backyard. Make him the first vendor you book and everything else will fall into place. The End.

If you are looking for a photographer for ANYTHING, hire Jeff! I literally cannot put into words how much my husband and I loved working with him. We hired Jeff as our wedding photographer and unfortunately had to postpone our engagement shoot and wedding due to covid, and Jeff was more than accommodating and flexible. When we first met Jeff for our engagement shoot we were a little shy in front of the camera, but Jeff is a PRO at directing and posing and helping direct the shoot while still letting authenticity show through. Our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out perfect and are something we will cherish forever. Thank you so much for everything Jeff!

Jeff was the first person I hired after getting engaged. After seeing his work via instagram I KNEW I wanted to hire him for our wedding. His work speaks for itself, but when working with him in person you can instantly see his passion and creativity for photography. He not only is the best at what he does, but he also made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement session and on our wedding day. He also made sure that on my wedding day he got all the shots that I asked for. I am completely in LOVE with all our wedding day photos. He did an amazing job at capturing the whole day and everyones emotions. He fit right in with our crazy family as well. We had a big wedding party of 20 and Jeff made sure that we got pictures with everyone individually and as a group. I cant put into enough words how happy I am that we hired Jeff for our day. These photos are going to be memories that we will get to keep and cherish for the rest of our lives!

There are no words to express how amazing Jeff and his work is! He goes above and beyond for his clients. We were scheduled to be married in June 2020 and with the pandemic had to postpone for an entire year. He was so flexible with the change and continued to communicate with us as the year went on. My husband HATES having his picture taken and Jeff made him so comfortable that we now have the best photos of us to date! Along with him just being a great human, Jeff also has high quality work that showcase his talent and also captures the best moments in a way I could have not found in any other photographer. I have been recommending to anyone I can! Hands down the best guy and best wedding photographer.

You cant get any better than Jeff. From our stunning engagement photos to the fantastic wedding day photos, I cant say enough good things about him. His photos can speak for themselves, as they are clearly some of the best I have ever seen, but hes also one of the best to work with and able to make even the most awkward people (me and Kevin) feel great about our photos. Jeff has an incredibly creative eye and he works fast and effectively. We were so worried about our timeline for the day, and making sure we got all the photos we wanted with our tight schedule, but Jeff got all the photos we wanted and more with so much time to spare that we were early for everything on our wedding day. He even got some amazing candid dancing photos of our guestsJeff consistently went above and beyond from booking, planning and executing all the photos. He even provided us with our photos in under 2 weeks from the wedding, which made me even happier. One of the best wedding decisions we made was having Jeff as our photographer- he is amazing!! He captures every natural moment, every emotion, and the results are absolutely breathtaking photos that we will cherish and brag about the rest of our lives . He is also the MASTER of lighting, I’ve never seen someone capture it the way does. Jeff really took the extra time to make sure we had everything we wanted and more- it’s very obvious he loves his job(and our guests loved him too)! To top it off, he sent us our photos back within weeks!!! We couldn’t have been happier or more impressed. Will definitely be booking Jeff again for our next major life event:)

If I could put 100 stars on this I would! Long story short I had chosen another photographer before Jeff and I felt that I had made the wrong choice and way before that I had already came across his pictures and was blown away by his amazing work! I actually cancelled the contract I made with the other photographer and contacted Jeff right away to see if he was available for our wedding date. I think the investment you make in the pictures is one of your top priorities because they are memories that stay for a lifetime! We had two engagement sessions and both times Jeff was able to pull off the best shoot even with the weather not being on our side! And of course, he did amazing at our wedding! I highly recommend him for your next event!I know for sure we will keep him as our photographer for our near future life events!

My daughter and I were wanting some very simple senior pictures taken for her graduation invites. We weren’t looking for a whole “photo shoot” just some simple pictures that’d be nicer than using my phone. What I was requesting from the photographer (especially a good one) I knew was going to be challenging to find. After looking through Jeff’s gallery, we knew we had to choose him. And lucky for us, he agreed to work with us.My daughter hates having her picture taken so they tend to look very staged or unnatural. Jeff is so fun and friendly and made my daughter feel so comfortable. He was somehow able to capture her so perfectly. We gave him our vision and he executed it perfectly. Her pictures are simply perfect. He took so many amazing shots that I’m now having an impossible time choosing my favorites because I genuinely love them ALL.Its evident Jeff takes pride in his work and genuinely cares for his clients. I cant emphasize enough how amazing Jeff was! His vibe was everything and I felt like the pictures were going to be amazing as soon as we started. He was SO easy going especially with my circumstances. In a span of 15 minutes he was able to get me the most beautiful pictures of me and my SO. I had pictures taken for a maternity shoot (which Jeff specializes in engagement/wedding photography) & I have continuously been told he took some of the best pictures theyve seen and want theres done now too! Jeff Hall is a master of his craft. A professional who will go out of his way to make sure his clients are happy. No request is too big or small. I have hired him and have worked with him on several occasions from corporate events to weddings/engagement shoots. He loves what he does and it clearly shows through his work. Jeff has an inate ability to make a photography session comfortable. Lets be honest when you are in front of a camera it doesnt always feel natural. He spends time getting to know his clients and then he just talks to them all while capturing the most natural moments. What sets Jeff apart from other photographers is his eye for masterpiece shots whether its climbing a mountain, trekking through snow or desert, there is no other person more comfortable and confident in his abilty to capture unique and one of a kind photographs. My fiancé and I did our engagement photos with Jeff in Northern California! We could not be happier with how well they turned out! Jeff was a very fun photographer and was able to capture beautiful pictures in the snow, with low temperatures and a lot of wind. Being in a long distance military relationship, we don’t have very many pictures together. I was very appreciative that Jeff not only gave us pictures we can love forever, but truly captured how our personalities mesh together and the genuine happiness.

My husband and I worked with Jeff Hall in October 2018. He is SO amazing to work with. We had planned a fun Day of the Dead shoot with him and he had incredible ideas and an amazing vision. He helped connect us with a makeup artist and hair stylist. The shoot came out absolutely incredibly. He gave great direction and he did a great job positioning us. He is super personaable and fun to work with. I have worked with a ton of photographers, and he by far was the best. I have recommended him to all my friends getting married this year.

From the minute we emailed as an interested couple to our engagement session, to the day of our wedding, to the last shot of the night, to viewing the SPECTACULAR photos taken after the wedding....we always felt like royalty and were treated with so much respect and genuine service. We got married on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year and our photos came out so wonderful and we are so over the moon happy with them all!!! The photographers have such beautiful visions and really see every shot through the end. I don’t even know where to start. I initially approached Jeff with a crazy idea to have him get pictures of my proposal without my girlfriend (at the time) knowing he was there. Keep in mind, I decided to propose in Tahoe, in the winter, on a snowshoe hike. There was a huge storm the days leading up to the proposal and Jeff hiked a mile, uphill through thigh deep snow to get these pictures!! Needless to say, they came out amazing! We hired him on the spot for the wedding. We actually chose our wedding date to accommodate his calendar.He was great throughout the planning process and always has such a positive attitude. He makes you feel like everything is going to be amazing regardless of what is going on. Jeff made sure to hook up with us a few weeks before the wedding to tour the property. Since he hadn’t worked there before, he wanted to check out where he wanted to get certain shots. We thought this was great!! The day of the wedding he arrived early with the second shooter (Kate Stapleton) and they got to right work. They were both super professional and knew the wedding timeline. Again, one less thing for us to worry about! Jeff was great at making my wife and I comfortable during the pictures which can be tough if you’re not used to being in front of a camera. He was always smiling and joking which made it feel like we were hanging out with a friend. From helping my wife with her train to carrying her huge vail, he did it all! The venue told Jeff about a hilltop location near the venue where we might be able to get some good pictures, so we took a drive. Jeff found the spot and talked my wife into climbing down onto the edge of this cliff which overlooked a river and train tracks. To this day I don’t how he managed to get her down there, but he did. Turns out, those are some of our favorite pictures. Within a week of the wedding we had all our edited pictures back from Jeff. The quality of the pictures and editing is beyond anyting we could have expected. If you are looking to book a wedding photographer, do not pass up on the opportunity to book Jeff Hall!! At the end of the day, these pictures and maybe video will be all that you have to look back on. Make them count!

They turned out great and the whole experience was fun and laid back. We where so impressed by Jeff’s photography and how much fun we had had during the shoot we hired him again for our destination wedding in Turks and Caicos. Again Jeff went above and beyond. I recently just finished my engagement photoshoot with Jeff in Yosemite, and I cannot stop raving about how wonderful of an experience me and my fiancé had, and how beautifully the pictures came out! Jeff is really great to work with, and knew every great spot to take a beautiful picture! We had a great time exploring Yosemite and even hiking up a trail to capture the most amazing pictures! We hired Jeff to take maternity and newborn photos in August and October, respectively. Our maternity photos were taken near the Rainbow bridge in Folsom and they turned out amazing!! The newborn photos were done at our house and Jeff was so patient and understanding not only with our newborn who wanted to eat constantly but also with our toddler who refused to be in the pictures (Jeff was able to get some great family shots without the toddler even realizing!). The turnaround time was also excellent (which is very important to me). Our maternity photos with our first child were taken by a different photographer and they were awful. The difference between those and the photos by Jeff Hall are night and day. You won’t be disappointed!

Jeff is an amazing photographer who does exceptional work. I dislike getting my pictures taken and dont like attention at all. Jeff not only worked with me being uncomfortable but also with my 3 year old who wanted to get her own pictures also. So, I had this idea to have my actual engagement photographed without my fiancé knowing about it. On top of that I wanted to do it in the middle of the forest in Lake Tahoe in the winter time. When I approached Jeff with the idea he was so excited and immediately said he loved to do it!! We worked together over the next few weeks to find a good spot. We ended up identifying a location that would require us to use snowshoes to access. Again, Jeff was all for it and seemed excited at the opportunity!A huge storm passed through the area in the days leading up to the engagement and left a ton of fresh snow on the ground. Jeff took it upon himself to snowshoe through 3-4 of snow to make a trail for my fiancé and I up to our location. When the snow got too deep to continue, he made a perfect spot for the engagement and marked it with some sticks so Id know where to stand while still allowing for great pictures! Once the surprise was done and he came out of hiding, he produced a bottle of champagne for my fiancé and sparkling apple cider for me, (he knew I didnt drink alcohol). Are you kidding me?!! He literally thought of everything! We spent the next hour or so taking additional pictures in the snow. Jeff put us both at ease and has such a good eye for what will look amazing. We are blown away by how beautiful the pictures turned out. Not to mention that we got the edited versions back from him the same night! I would recommend Jeff for anyone at anytime for any event without question!

I remember when I came upon Jeff’s photography in Instagram. That was when I just got engaged about 1.5 years ago. I was so impressed by his work and so I messaged him. He would reply so fast and answer all my questions. When I learned that the Tioga pass (the road to Glacier and Taft Point in Yosemite) was closed for the year, I told him that maybe I will just postpone the photoshoot to the following year. He told me his thoughts that even though those sites were closed, there are so much other sites in Yosemite that are just about as amazing as those. So I booked a sunrise wedding photoshoot session with him. We met at the crack of dawn, and he told us that he has been on the road since 1AM! Even though we know he was tired, he drove us around Yosemite to capture gorgeous photos in numerous locations. We got along so well and talked about life stories and his career and experience. That’s not the only best part, but he is also a Jeeper! No wonder we got along so well! He had so much crazy ideas (from us standing over big logs by the waterfalls to us standing over the ledge of a bridge), but the crazier, the BETTER! He made us so comfortable and confident, even in the center of so many people watching over us. He showed us a few photos 2 hours after the shoot, just enough to tease us. And was able to deliver the rest of the photos 2 days after! So much fast turnaround. Not only does he capture photos in California, but people hire him even internationally! We are so amazed by his work and experience. Definitely going to book another shoot with him in the future!
