Jay Friedman is personable and honest, a man of integrity and compassion, who understands the real estate business and goes way above and beyond for his clients. He was our realtor when we purchased in 2020 and then sold the same home in 2024. He shows up on Day 1 with recent sales and current listings, and makes recommendations. Jay will guide you to prepare your home, and will schedule any contractors needed to get your home in the optimal selling condition. He always tries to do the right thing. Jay responds quickly to your calls and texts, at all times! He navigates the entire process smoothly and will do everything possible to negate the stressful process of selling and moving. I am extremely grateful to have chosen Jay to represent me in both the original purchase and then the sale of my home.

We interviewed close to a dozen agents before meeting Jay. I am the guy who reads every review looks at previous sales and asks online what other people have to say about a product. My wife says it takes weeks to get any decision done but its always the right one. We looked for the Agent with highest customer satisfaction and largest volume of sales so we could be sure we had the best agent for home.Jay spent hours listening to what we wanted for life a house and the home selling experience. He offered tons of advice on how to prepare our house to make the most money but also set it up for a quick sale. It was clear to us that not only does he have the sales in Sacramento to support being the Top agent in the area but he had the right character and understanding to work with us.Jay worked with to develop a plan for the house that met the budget we had for repairs and upgrades. Jay has a massive rolodex of support crew that deployed to get jobs done that were out of reach of my skillset. In the end we raised the final selling price of the house by 35K and sold it in 3 days which in the end was what mattered most to us.You wouldnt go to court without a lawyer so dont dare sell your house without Jay.

When we interviewed prospective agents to sell our house, Jay was the only one who came with the numbers to back his suggestion for pricing. He obviously did his research before meeting us. He showed us what was listed in the immediate area and also a mile out so we would know what our competition was. He walked us through repairs to our house, helping us find contractors to do the work. We heard about Jay from a previous coworker who had a good experience with him a few years ago. It was around 2018 and when we contacted Jay he got to work for us right away and we got into escrow on a house we liked at the time. Unfortunately, after sleeping on it we realized we weren’t ready and asked Jay to back us out of escrow and he thankfully got us out. What really impressed us was how understanding Jay was and how he did not pressure us to stay in escrow on a house that just didn’t feel right for us.Fast-forward 4 years later and we worked with Jay again recently since we are in a much better position financially. My husband and I were fortunate enough to meet Jay more than two years before he would eventually help us find our house. Jay was initially recommended to us by a morgate broker we were working with in 2014 to assist us in relocating from Southern to Northern California. There are few times that you find a service provider who truly cares for you. Jay is one of those few.My wife and I had some rather particular needs for a home for our family. Not only did Jay listen to our needs he helped guide us to find the right home. Wow! Impressive is the word we would use to describe Jay. We were referred to Jay from a Real Estate Agent in Boise Idaho who had told us he could help us sell our house quickly as we were considering moving to Boise to be close to our mom, but later decided to sell our house and get a bigger place so Mom can move in with us. Imagine that, his reputation as a top agent was far reaching to Boise! Jay had given us advice on how to stage our house. We followed his advice. When we had finished all the staging, we called Jay on a Tuesday and he said, Ok, lets have an open house this weekend. He had someone come and take pictures, post them on the MLS Listing and Saturday Open House was a hit! Many potential buyers! Three days after the Open House, we had offers and the house was in escrow. We have sold and purchased homes in the past and have had Real Estate Agents working for us, but NONE of them compare to Jay. He is in a league of his own! He responded to our calls and texts every time within minutes. Sometimes I would send a text late at night because something came to mind and I thought he would probably respond in the morning, but he always responded right away. Impressive! While preparing the house to stage, whenever I asked him for recommendations for a handyman for repairs, beautifying yard & garden, garage door repair, counter replacement, Jay had resources that were very reasonable and they did a great job! Jay says We get it done. And how!In my case, the sale was of a rental house. I had a property management company managing it, and there was a tenant in the house. I was selling due to changes in my situation, but was sensitive to the disruption this caused the tenant.Well, literally within a day of signing with Jay, he had met with the Property Manager to establish rapport, and with the tenant to establish a process which would allow them to find a new place and move in a respectful way. To fast forward, there were 0 issues I needed to address with either tenant or property manager…Jay coordinated the whole process.As far as the sale goes, we set an aggressive asking price, yet from the day the sign went up to the day I deposited the check was just 36 days, and the selling price was above what a couple other agents had suggested as an asking price! The process of clearing the inspection issues went very well, between Jay knowing who to work with to complete work, and Jay working through the buyer’s agent to agree on a reasonable level of fix-its.So bottom line, based on this experience, if you want to sell a house and there are a lot of moving parts along the way to getting it done, Jay is the guy to “Get it done”, and fast, with respect for all involved.

We found Jay through a friend that recommended him for his outstanding service and job he helped our friends with. We are from the bay area SJ, and housing market is ridiculous. We gave Jay a call and decided to house hunt in Elk Grove Ca. Jay drove an hour from Roseville Ca every meeting to meet us. I am a first time home buyer and although I did my homework and research, I still had a lot of questions and insecurities of what we wanted. So many must haves and donts, on the bucket list. Oh I should mention my wife is an HGTV fanatic, she watches all the shows from property brothers to fixer upper, men she was hard to please. Jay also accommodated my elderly inlaws to have a junior suite on the firstfloor. Jay, had a lot of knowledge and patience, he gave us a real answers and gave his thoughts on the houses we saw. I was glad he was on our side, he pointed out things that I would not have seen. We wanted a move in ready and as much as little maintenance needed before the move. I wish I can say everything went well but it didnt. 3 days before closing we found out that the sellers owed money on the property and could not come up with the cash to bring at closing. We were devastated, Jay was also furious. The cherry on top is that my family was going to be homeless in 15days because I already submitted my notice to vacate to my landlord and my landlord already had tenants lined up. After a day of heartache and nightmare, a light appeared ( angels humming, flashings lights bells and whistles) Jay with a smiling face said Lets make this happen. Jay volunteered to surrender a huge portion of his commission and I had to cover rest. Although I was clinchin my pocket it was the only way to get our dream house. In the end Jay went above and beyond to get us our dream home. We appreciate what Jay has done and would recommend him to anyone and my family.
