I took my Trek 820 in for a basic flat tire fix the other day. (If you purchase a bike with the “flat pack” option for only an extra $50, you get free flat fixes for life. One of the best financial decisions I’ve made. Highly recommend.)I used to have to wait at least a couple hours for Jax to fix a flat, even on a slow day. Last weekend, Rider had my bike road-ready in half an hour. Very pleased with his service.

Jax has always served me well from my first road bike (US Postal) to my Trek FX5. Always responsive, courteous and efficient. Never any condescending comments. Only helpful assistance. I recommend it 100%. Nothing but great service!

Jax fullerton is a great shop. I’ve bought two great bikes (Trek Slash MTB and Trek Emonda) here. Both get ridden hard and tons of milage. Thomas is always able to help me out and keep my bikes running smooth.

Went here for a shimano recall 4/16/2024 @11:44am 3 days after the guy Jimmy who assisted me hasn’t open up the crankset what bothered me so much is the lack of communication never did i got a text or a phonecall from them it was i who always ask or beg them for an update on whats going on if i would get my crankset replaced take note i checked Shimanos website and i new my crankset qualified for a recall base on number and code! Fast forward today 3 days after i called Wyatt answered and said Jimmy was out for lunch so i called an hour after, Jimmy answered the guy had the audacity to tell me you just called right! I said yes because i wanted specifically to call u regarding my bike he told me ill call u when i have an update on your bike! So i was pissed on his attitude towards me i called corporate and told them my ordeal Ms Ho i guess she was Vietnamese base on her accent helped me out and said she would handle the issue and talked to Jimmy! Voala a few minutes later Jimmy called me saying his fixing my bike opening it up and said my bike didnt qualify for a recall! He even Brag it will just be 15 minutes to put it back all together and i could pick it up! What a prick! If It took 15 minutes to put it back so i guess it will take 15 minutes to take it off and visualized it if the communication was good i wouldn’t get irritated its not not like they were too busy at all, if it was the case i understand if they told me sorry were just busy but if u visit their location theres no customers there its not like its a mall! Btw it was by accident i went to this location because JAX Fullerton was closing so the nearest location was Yorba Linda! If this was the kind of employees JAX have i’d close the store was thinking of upgrading my bike but with what i experience with this location i’d go somewhere else! Its not about the recall that pissed me off it was the attitude on how they handle my case imagine i brought it wednesday and friday last minute u would open it up and tell me if id qualify or not why that long i’d appreciate if u at least give me a headsup! But no what i got was You just called right will call you! What a prick!

Great customer service! On both the occasions I went to the YL location I was treated with excellent customer service, and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I noticed the staff at Jax YL making every effort to help every customer who came in while I was there. I will definitely be back!

Nice small compact store with all the essentials you need and can order if not there. Employee was nice helping me choose a new seat for my bike based on my preferences and even installed it onto the piece I took in where my old seat was installed. Answered my questions on different kinds of bikes and differences in tires which help me as I am an entry level biker who just bikes for fun and to get fresh air. Will definitely be back when I get my 4 year old his bike in the near future.

I came from out of state for my nieces kindergarten graduation. I bought her a bicycle from a big box store only to discover the pedal brake didnt work. I took the bike to Jax in Yorba Linda. I told Jimmy about the issue and that I was flying out the next day. Jimmy put the bike on the rack, fixed the brake issue, gave the bike a once over, aired up the tires and told me I was good to go. Jimmy, thank you so much!!! Yall are awesome!!!

I just got into the shop and the one sales guy I met was nice. Just said he have the brake liver in stock and can change it quick. Then while billing another random guy from the shop shows up and he said they cant do the work but has to schedule and later drop in after a couple of days. I am not posting the reason I guessed. But by this random behaviour by two different sales men I can guess they will be ripping off the customers and may be cheating as well. I would say stay back from this place. Good luck to the guys going here

The store has a good inventory of new bikes for all levels of riders and an extensive inventory of helmets gear and accessories. If they don’t have what you are looking for they can get it quickly. Customer service was exceptional. We came in two different days and purchased a bike on the second day. We were given undivided attention from representatives each day. Armando, on the day of purchase, was extremely patient and spent a lot of time carefully explaining features of the bike, checking every aspect of the bike, and even explaining additional services and accessories for bike maintenance and safety. I brought my bike to Jax for some badly needed servicing. The technician was very thorough and took the time to explain to me what he saw and what he recommended as he examined the bike. The shop was backed up so the repair took about a week, but the technician was very clear about when the work would be done, and it was completed exactly on time. My bike was creaky, scuffed, and neglected but thanks to the team at Jax, now its sleek and gorgeous again like the day I bought it! I am so excited to ride more, and I will definitely be back to Jax.

Everything was great with the service. However, I am greatly disappointed in the customer communication. They claim to have called me to tell me my bike was ready. I never got a call, never got a voicemail, never had a missed call. My bike sat there for four days while I waited for it. That’s not acceptable. Other than that I will be back to Jax.

Ive wanted to get back into bike riding for awhile. Its a freedom I enjoy. Because if joint issues I could not do it. With the electric bike recommended, I found a bike that isnt just electric, but requires me to pedal to make it move, without straining my joints. Went in to see if my sons cheap bike needed to be serviced or if I should buy a better bike. They could have easily talked me into buying a bike. Instead, the staff were very honest and told me to use the bike for another year before purchasing a better bike and even spent a few minutes servicing his current bike.

I understand that right now they were quite busy they had our bikes for about 3 to 4 weeks they were putting one bike together they were supposed to just be checking another bike that we had already put together and installing a baby seat when we got the bike back that they were supposed to be checking was OK that was put together the handle bars are moving all over the place the seats are not tightened or adjusted on either bike and the handlebars dont stay still so when youre riding the handle bars move I have already fallen because theyre loose and by seat wasnt tightened. They gave me a discount because it took them so long to get the bikes together but I was more concerned about the safety of the bikes.

Also they seemed genuinely interest in helping me restore my bike. No its not the cheapest store and doesnt have the widest selection but its nearby and they get the job done.

This is hands down the best bicycle shop in town. David the manager is one of the most authentic bicycle nuts you will ever meet and just talking to him for a while is worth coming into the store. The rest of the staff are incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Not to mention Trek and Bontrager make very high end stuff which I have been extremely pleased with. I have bought a bike for myself, a bike for my daughter, and can tell you that I will be buying many more bikes there over the years as well. Highly recommend.

Buying a bike during COVID turned out to be a “mission impossible”. In Vegas all the bike shops had a 6-month waiting list. You guys were able to put me on a 2-month waiting list and then deliver 1 month head of schedule. You required a fair and fully-refundable deposit. Your terms very unmistakably clear and had zero attitude, unlike the stores in Vegas. You made my long-distance buying experience feel better than any in-person purchase. I sincerely thank the entire JAX team for its passion, dedication and professionalism. Ive taken my bikes in to Jax for years and all of a sudden they tell me they do not work on e-bikes now. As a family we own 9 ebikes and they do need tuneups and stuff occasionally so it seems like a bad call to just stop working on e-bikes altogether. Disappointing. But it led me down the street to Fenix Cycles and they are SO nice, and fair priced! Super glad to have found them and I wouldnt have if Jax didnt make such a poor business decision

Bought my bike here 7 years ago and I have kept in great shape. Took it in for a tuneup because shifting was sluggish. They quoted me $200 for cable replacement, brake pads and tuneup. I paid around $700 for the bike so ~1/3 the cost sounded high to me. The guy said people do it every 6 months and it was normal. I dont think so. Went to another shop in Brea and they changed the lagging cable and housing and adjusted brakes and derailleurs all for $24.69 (In about 2 hours). It was a good lesson for my son about getting a second opinion. BTW - the bike is still riding and shifting fantastic!

The Fullerton team told me to hit up the Yorba Linda location because they had the Bontrager Circuit cycling shoes in my size. When I arrived, James helped me out. He was very knowledgeable about the shoes and the different types that were available. Long story short, I ended up purchasing the Bontrager Velocis road cycling shoes. A big upgrade from the Circuit model and totally WORTH IT!
