Great experience here buying my Intense Dirt Jumper. Everyone here was friendly and informative willing to go the extra mile. They took care of some specific set up preferences for me and jumped right on it so i could leave with the bike ready to ride and enjoy. 10/10 would recommend for purchase or maintenance.

When you walk into a bike shop for the first time after going to the sameOne for so long there’s always skepticism. But I soon discovered my skepticism was unfounded. Extremely pleasant team from the first time I walked in to the time I picked up my bike after repair. I have an older Trek and parts aren’t easy to find. They did an awesome job. My wife is considering an E Bike and I will most likely buy it here!

My first visit here was to get repairs done on my daughters Huffy Mountain Back (chain came off the gears and became tangled). We were greeted immediately upon entering by a very friendly lady (wish I remembered her name), and the staff signed us in and immediately began repairs to the bicycle. Not only did the bike technician Jeff fix the original problem with the chain, but he also readjusted the front and rear tires and went over other areas of the bike, ensuring everything was tightened and set properly. After he was done and we inquired about the price for the repairs, he mentioned not to worry about the price! I felt guilty about the work done for the bike (21 speed, 24 mountain bike) that I had no qualms buying some accessories for my kids bikes. Everyone on staff was very friendly, and they had an impressive array of mountain, road, and coaster bikes for purchase in addition to accessories like tires, bottle holders, and riding gear (including biking shoes). This is now my go-to place for future biking needs close to home.

Brought in Ole Kilroy to get the back tire looked at, estimated, and repaired. Additonally, needed a new tube for another tire as well. Walked in, headed to maintenance, signed in, waited about 5 minutes to be greeted by service tech Natalie.As soon as Natalie noticed me waiting she came right over and asked how she could be of service. I let her know what was going on and she was happy to help. She got the cruiser up, throughly inspected the tire, and fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes. Next, she looked at the other tire to see if the old tube was bad which it was. She immediately replaced the old tube with a new one also less than 5 minutes, awesome! She was friendly, kept me informed, and had light conversation about life, which helped bypass the time and made me feel valued. The saying is true a little goes a long way...All in all, I was in and out in 15 mintues. Natalie, was polite, professional, and took excellent care of me. She also did not charge for diagnosis and the maintenance for the first tire. Jax bicycles you got a great asset to the team and look forward to my next visit. Best service around and super knowledgeable employees.I went to the Murrieta shop just to buy some tires for my Trek Rail 9.8 and ended up buying the SRAM xx1 Eagle AXS group set as well.The manager Jordan & Tech Jeff were so helpful in answering my million questions. I purchased four bikes from Jax. Two of the bikes were brought in from other shops. Pretty easy to do and a friendly and kind bunch of people.Decided to get the tire protection on all four bikes. In the last week, Ive brought my bike in twice for the same issue Ive had since buying their bikes. Idk what the deal is or why they cant seem to fix it for good. The back tires valve stem tears off while riding.Today is the fourth time this happens. Ill have to go back in to have it repaired.I wonder how much this wouldve cost me had I not bought the plan. But that should not be required when you pay the price they sell their bikes at. We should be buying high quality bicycles.It sure doesnt feel like it.

Only local shop open on a Sunday. Was over my old mountain and they had a killer sale on an all carbon mountain bike. Trade in for all bike was fair, process to buy easy and the bike fits like a glove thanks to the good customer service. Jeff even helped me put my new bike pad on my truck. Saved money, bike is fantastic and I get the sense I can trust them to maintain my bike as they took good care when building my bike from the box.

I had a broken derailleur and cassette. They had it fixed in about an hour. They worked as a team when they ran into problems. My bike runs like new. My day was saved and possibly more days, saving me headaches of trying to fix my bike myself. Very reasonable prices for labor as well. This will definitely be my new to go bike place in town.

I went in to purchase a bike for my wife and had a great experience. Mind you, I walked in about within the last hour they were open for the day and assumed the workers might be irritated because they wanted to go home, but it was just the opposite. I was immediately greeted by Craig, and he was very helpful and patient with me as I am not an expert with mountain bikes and had a lot of questions. He helped me search different models and view different colors until I found the one I thought my wife would like. Finally, right before I purchased the bike, I asked him to help me verify if the bike would fit in my car. He happily obliged. He took the bike out, and we tried a few different ways to make it fit with no luck. He then proceeded to ask how far I lived, which was only a few miles away, and offered to drop it off for me after he closed up shop. I couldnt have been happier with my experience, and my wife loves her new bike. I will definitely be back for future purchases.

The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and caring! I feel welcomed every time I walk in or call the shop! The staff are there to help and offer the right equipment that I might need for the riding I do. Safety is very important to them, since I was asked if I was aware about daytime running lights for my sons and my riding. They had a wide selection to chose from, but offered me the perfect lights that would fit my bike neatly, while being the most visible to cars. All the staff ride with lights and advocate the importance of being seen out there! Safety first!!

I really cant say enough good things about the team at Jax. Ordered a new project one build back in February and Jordan was amazing in helping me choose individual options to best meet both my needs and product availability to get me the bike I wanted as quickly as possible given the extenuating circumstances facing shops these days with supply shortages and manufacturing delays. Once the order was in, the whole team was super helpful in keeping me up to speed on what was going on and when delivery/assembly/availability for pickup would be. Once they got my bike in, they did a meticulous job building everything up exactly to my requested specs and were awesome in walking me through some configuration and access issues specific to the Di2 setup on my bike after I ran into some issues and came back in with some questions. Id say I was surprised by how helpful and friendly everyone is at Jax Murrieta but its not my first time in the store and theyve been consistently great every time Ive come in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I will never go to another bike shop! Came here to get myself a bike and I was so happy with their customer service and overall experience! The older gentleman helped me, I didnt get his name but he was very thorough and just so so helpful and patient with me when making my selection. He even went over accessories and installed the ones I picked out at no cost right then and there on my new bike so that my husband didnt have to do it. Worst customer service ever! I went in with my boys. And an older tall man who I think was the owner helped us out. He made a comment that really bothered me. I told him I didn’t want to spend more then $400 for each bike. I was going to buy 2. I told him jokingly how boys can get expensive. He then said, “Yes, but not like girls and their expensive Quinceañera Junk” and he continued to make other rude comments. I couldn’t believe it! 😯 Im Mexican, so that really bothered me. He was so rude, and not at all welcoming. I went to bicycle warehouse Temecula where they were Awesome! Jax definitely needs friendlier people at the front. I will never go back or ever recommend them.

I can’t’ say enough good things about the quality-of-service every time I visit the employee team at Jax Bicycle Center in Murrieta.On my last visit I had the pleasure of working with a young lady by the name of Natalie. She was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I simply went in for a tube replacement, but she took the time to do a quick once over of my bike checking my gears, breaks, and tire tracking. Then she proceeded to give my bike some oil and a frame wipe down. It’s little details like this that make a customer experience a pleasurable one. There was not a question that I had that they were unable to answer during discussions on new mountain bikes and upgrading an older bike. I love the one to one service. Our sales rep was great with our kids and letting them test the bikes and feel the ride for themselves. He answered all of our questions and never rushed us through our sale. We purchased a pink trek bike and a pink haro for our older one and every where we go, they love their bikes ! I thought the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and well educated as I was shopping for a new bicycle for my daughter for Christmas. They were very well organized and went above and beyond to make sure I was fully satisfied with my shopping experience. Due to the fact I was shopping a couple weeks prior to Christmas, the manager offered to allow me to place a deposit for my order and “lay-away” my purchase. It was a very pleasant shopping experience and I can’t say enough good things. The selection of bicycles, gear and accessories was a great added bonus as well. Jax Bicycle responded to my online purchase quickly and let me know when they would have the bike available. I had been searching for the 2021 Trek Slash 8 and was pleasantly surprised when the had one available when another Trek affiliated store told me they wouldnt see any until December. See as its the beginning of March that was a bummer, but thankfully Jax Bicycle came through unknowingly. The pickup of the bike was easy. They setup my suspension and tires with good baseline pressures, so that I could get out and ride it immediately after leaving the store. The staff was kind and informative. The bicycle care program they have is a must if youre an active rider. Will definitely help you save money with maintenance cost for the first few years. Give Jax a chance if youre looking for a new bike to ride!

The best place I could have gone to for buying a nice bike and getting advice for riding. I bought a TREK Roscoe 6 from them and it was the best bike I ever bought in my life. So disappointed. Son took bike in for two tubes, as they would not hold air overnight. We paid for lifetime flat repair, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Once there, the tech upsold for nearly $300 worth of service. As he’ll be taking this to college, we reluctantly paid for that - but it came back like brand new, great job. Son brings bike home in his pickup, and tires go flat overnight (what we originally went in for!). Drag the bike across town and they say they’ll take care of it. Goes to take it for a ride today (with zero miles since), and one tire is flat! Looking at it, it’s obvious that only one tube was actually replaced. This will be three trips across town for what was the primary reason it went in, two flat tires!! Very disappointed to say the least. What a waste of time and fuel.REVISED FROM 1-3 STARS. Jonathan reached out and we discussed the situation. Happy that they wanted to hear my concerns. People who work here are absolutely the kindest! They are super helpful for anything you need and really make you feel like youre part of the shop. They also do Saturday and Sunday rides that are about 30-40 on Saturdays and an easy recovery on Sundays. I have a bike repair center and the guys are super knowledgeable about road bikes and mountain bikes. Would definitely recommend them as a bike shop!

After the last several year purchasing bikes at a bike shop in Mammoth, the shop was out of inventory due to Covid related issues (as are many bike shops) I decided to try Jax. I didnt originally leave a review because I just had them do a tune up on a new bike that I ordered elsewhere. The whole process of the tune up went with ease, the staff were all very friendly, and made some great recommendations for items and training classes. However, after a bike accident on my very first day of riding, I decided to return the bike to the company I bought it from. JAX had not saved the original box, but Sherry offered to work with me on finding a box. I made a second call to JAX after getting the return details and spoke to Jonathan who reiterated that they would help me on Saturday if I brought the bike in. Everything! First, the customer service over the phone was the best customer service Ive heard over a phone ever! Jordan and the two other people I spoke with upon my arrival made (I wish I remembered their names, they were so nice - a lovely woman with light/blonde hair and a really smart guy who helped me size my bike) me feel like a special customer, and Im guessing that they are just in the habit of treating all of their customers in that manner. These are the main reasons I drove from Tucson, AZ to Murrieta to get that bike - it was the customer service that sold me more than anything else. Took my Trek 8500 in for a disc brake repair and after determining that it was not repairable due to damage on the master cylinder as well as caliper corrosion the tech gave me some options and prices. I purchased an Electra Townie from Jax. I spoke with Sherry, the sales manager. I told her that I was going to buy a conversion kit to make it an electric bike. She thought it was very cool and even told me to bring it by so she could “check it out”. I didnt purchase anything but I visited. I wanted to look at the mountain bike, and a clerk ask me for help. He led me to the mountain bikes. Before I went to the store I had done some research on an appropriate MTB for my skill level, which is beginner. I was curious and wanted to sit on some hardtails, but the clerk insisted I should look at full suspension, because, only professionals would know how to handle hardtails. All this alarmed me and red flags started popping up, as this was the opposite of everything I read, watched, and discussed. The first bike that was shown was a 8000 dollar full suspension carbon fiber Trek MTB; for a beginner! Though the bikes were awesome that he showed me, I became unimpressed with what he was showing me, as it wasnt even the bikes I even inquired about, but the price range and the spec of the bikes only stayed close to that 8000 dollar range and the clerk was super enthusiastic, I assume hoping I would get to his level of enthusiasm. I only had words like nice and cool to say. As I started pointing out hardtails he began to get more quiet and the interaction closed. Thank you for taking the time to show me items, but the sales tactic was a little off putting. I would recommend actually ask what I normally do or what I would like to do on a MTB. Show me the type of bike I wanted to see and let me come a conclusion based my experience sitting on both. I do understand the ladder of going down from expensive to cheap to show me how nice it could be. I am not putting this out there not to bash but hopefully help out the team there. Please, do your research before you head in the bike shop, its just like buying a car. Two stars for effort.

From the best customer service I had ever experienced from everyone working at the store, too many names to call out, but a big shout out to Johnathan, and Jeff. Jeff made me fall in love with the 2019 TREK ALR 5 Disc, also told me about the wonders of the five year Veliocare package. Then Johnathan built the bike from the ground up on every single component/ accessory I needed, to maximize my experience, and introduced me to the Jax yearly Membership. Every person, went above and beyond the call of service. They even accommodated everyone of my sudden change orders on my order ticket, which I changed at least six times. They spent over a total of about five hours in three different visits with me to make sure every little thing was perfected. Went there after getting crap service from another well known shop in corona. Matt was very helpful and his prices on labor beat any other shop. They didnt carry an adapter I needed but matt had one at his house he gave me for free and installed. Definitely worth heading to jaxs over any other shop.

I dropped off my tire for repairs and the younger guy with the beard was very helpful. Unfortunately, when I returned to pick up my tire, the older guy and older lady acted as if I was invisible. I stood at the register and waited 10 to 15 minutes for anyone to even say hello, or Ill be with you shortly, or something like that. Finally the older lady came to the register. I mentioned it to her, and as I was leaving she made sure I heard her greet another customer as soon as the door opened. WOW! I guess old habits are hard to break.

Theres a bit of a line to get in with #covidgate but once in- I felt like a priority and was educated about the back-order of bikes. I was able to put down a deposit for my son whos growing. I would have been bummed if I waited until Christmas and showed up to be empty handed. THANK YOU.

Nice store, clean, well organized, high quality product, and the staff always does great. .. but almost nothing in stock for kids. And the one rack of kids stuff they DO have, is overpriced (paid 26 for a set of no name training wheels, Walmart had the Schwinn wheels for 10). Ive been disappointed several times now going to a bicycle shop for bicycle stuff they never have.Id love to support a local business and I am always for the mom & pop shop (even though they have 7 other stores).. but this drives me to Walmart (which I hate) or Target.

Dave Hanson, who started as the owner of Village Bike Center in Yorba Linda is the owner of Jax. If you ever bought a bike from one of his stores, you were likely ripped off. Dave Hanson used to take the safety pads, and training wheels that were included in childrens bikes, and sell them as extra items, for additional cost.Dave Hanson is truly the scum of the earth when it comes to bike shop owners. Its disappointing that hes successful, since his business was built by fleecing customers. Had he attempted to operate in the current internet age, he would have been out of business long ago.
