One of the best public libraries in socal area. Variety of kids events encouraging reading and amazingly organized library with the nicest staff I have experienced. If you are a inland empire resident this is a must go library and if you reside in san bernandino definitely must have for membership.

The library has reliable internet and plenty of places for people who wants find place for their needs. Most of books are much recent and videos rental policies are reasonable. The meeting rooms are large but insulation may need bit work.The library would become crowded during afternoon due to nearby high school students.

After the librarys recent renovation, it met with readers for the first time with a space exploration theme. There were interactive space capsules and displays of space suits, and on the opening day, attendees had the opportunity to meet astronaut Joes in person. The event was organized brilliantly, and the children were extremely excited and fascinated, growing to love this library more and more.

A place with no management.Teenagers are playing in the study room, and they dont leave even after the scheduled time. And they reserve rooms in succession to keep playing.We cant get in at our reserved time and are waiting, have to go back and forth to the counter several times.Wasting time and energy.To use the study room, we had to go to the counter several times. If you go at the scheduled time, you will be asked to come again.In what era are they using this method right now?Is there a place that cannot be reserved online or at a kiosk?One more, I asked a question about two years ago, and there wasnt even an answer. I held a couple books before, but I didnt get to pick it up.The local library represents the level of the locality.

Man. This library is so noisy with all these kinds of events + the loud music inside the library. Its kinda inconsiderate for those people who actually use the library to study and needed a quiet place. Its frustrating and disappointing.They could really use the other big room for events. Its sitting empty.I really like how chino hills library have these events for children, but its just that its loud.Please consider and plan carefully. Use the big room for events.

Always very clean and family friendly. A lot of work space to spread out and collaborative or individual options as well. Great place to tutor or be tutored, to do homework after-school, or to read a book. The Children programs for story time and arts and crafts are great too.Childrens area remodeled within the past year now has a Rocket and command center along with NASA items on display. Really cool if your kid is into Space.

Nice and quiet, and theres plenty of quiet areas when its not. Theres plenty of space to work as well. Would recommend as an after-school study place or for a quiet day of reading on weekends.

Love their kids programs. So very welcome of everyone. I know even parents from neighbouring cities come here with their little ones. Great place to read, to play and meet other parents and kids. Thank you staff for always being so helpful and welcoming.

This library is the worst I have ever experienced. I now have been to this library many of times throughout the week/ weekends. It is noisy, crowded, and the internet is unstable. Always kicks me off. People make constant noise, eat (a full lunch) with a drink to do with it. Make noise while on headphones, etc. There really seems to be no limit to the noise that is constant. Also, this library now has way too many high schoolers that constantly think they are at their home instead of a library. The librarians do not do anything about the noise level that is always a problem. IFI could give this library zero stars I would

With one hour before closing and every fifteen minutes thereafter the librarians began announcing that they will be closing. It is loud, obnoxious and disruptive. Thirty minutes before closing wil be sufficient.

Don’t trust any of the librarians in this facility. We turned the book in by the automatic machine three weeks ago. But after I did it, there were still two books in my account co. I ask for help from the librarians immediately, and they found one from the room behind the machine. When I asked them to help me find another one, they told me they would do that tomorrow. I requested them to check the lobby’s security camera to check it. They reject me. I had no choice, and I trusted them and came back home. Three weeks later, they charged me three times the retail price of that book and implied I lied about it. I feel so angry about it. I can’t believe our tax will pay those kinds of people—shame on them. They can not explain why that day has two books missing but only found one. They can not explain why they order books three times the market price.

This library is very friendly to students and people from the community. There are many options for books, audio book, or just a place to relax. They hold classes for adults and kids throughout the year. Due to coronavirus, they are closed but they have an audio book option online. My parents use it to listen to books while in the car. They have very nice computers and nice comfy chairs to relax and read books at, as well as, tables for studying.

Very nice, quiet, friendly staff. Tried for 5 minutes, could not get my library card to work at self-checkout. Waited another ~10 minutes to find out I needed to renew my card. Needs to be a quicker way to find our whats wrong and how to fix it.

I see someone already mentioned about Ayala high school students making a noise after around 3pm, which is true but there is far more annoying aspect of this library. At least high school students know when to stop and quiet themselves when they notice its getting too loud. I really dont understand the intention of these parents bringing their kids and let them jumping, running, yelling, throwing stuff around the quiet table area (I am not talking about the Kids zone at the corner of the library). If they are looking for the place to have a physical activity with their kids, there are better places outdoor. If they cannot discipline their child they should not be allowed to the library.

The tables in the back are very spacious and have outlets close to them. Whether working solo or with a group there are many areas to get your work done. They have also dedicated a large part of the library as the children’s section. The outside is quite scenic and across from the library is the Chino Hills Police Department for extra security!!Covered parking is available. Wifi accessible.

Pros: Beautiful, Excellent children section, Computer access, Free Wifi, Use of Printers (first 5 prints free), Good selection of books, and Convenient location. Cons: Terrible study area if you arrive around noon to 5PM, Layout is a bit confusing, Librarians are often busy, Extremely loud, Favorite hangout place for local Highschool and Elementry students, which makes it very crowded and difficult to find a quiet place to sit down and work/study, and Wifi is slow. Overall, I like it because its convenient and Im able to print everything I need there. Fines on late books and other materials are a bit pricey, so I recommend bringing them in on time. Its a nice place, and can be good for study, you just have to make sure you arrive sometime in the morning (before everyone gets out of school) or later in the evening.

Gets crowded after 3pm, likely students from ayala highschool there to just hang out. I wish theyd shut the hell up because theyre making it loudnot too noisy, but definitely not silent.Power plugs available at each table, along with ethernet jacks (no cables included)internet speed is surprisingly good

I am quite handicapped and have trouble walking and carrying heavy books. The handicap area doesn’t help much. They need a back door for handicapped people. I do love the new selection of large print books. Thank you Margaret Trimble

Libra means books. Library should be QUIET for anybody likes to read and study. It should NOT be an after school high school hangouts, NOR children ( protected) playground, nor any for profit (real estate) business meeting. Oh yeah, FOR PROFIT PRIVATE TUTORING shoud be monitored in reading areas: a nuisance.

The ßtaff that was working at the Library, were friendly and very professional. Entering the Library, you are required to have your temperature taken do to COVID19. I went in to get a new library card today, and it was quick and very easy to do.

Nice and clean library. You can have access to study rooms for free when available and you have your library card with you. Love studying here for exams and when in creative writing mode.

Its quiet and great to study, however if you are doing work that requires internet connection, try somewhere else. Youll spend more time logging into their wifi network than being on the actual Internet.
