Jake Coyne was referred to me by a close friend who had a great experience with this professional.To be honest, I was initially a bit wary about picking a real estate agent who is on the young side. However, those concerns were quickly put to rest after sitting down with him the very first time. As a first time home buyer (along with my fiance), I had MANY questions ranging from simple to stupid (lol). Jake was able to thoroughly answer all my questions in a way that a beginner like me could understand.Throughout the home hunting process, Jake was easily accessible via impromptu phone calls/text messages at any hour of the day. He was patient, detail-oriented, and always followed through with his word. If, by chance, there was a rare question that he did not know the answer to, he would quickly find the answer and get back to me which was greatly appreciated. Jake accompanied my fiance and I to visit every open house (and even drove us many times), was there to provide support during the closing process of signing papers with the notary, and best of all even bought us CHIPOTLE (my favorite) just because he felt like it!Thank you, Jake, for making our first home buying experience so easy and even fun! We were recommended to Jake by one of our good friends as we were preparing to buy our first home in the bay area. As first time buyers, we had a gazillion questions and concerns throughout the home buying process and Jake was really patient with us through it all. Jake is an out and out professional, and knowledgeable about the bay area real estate market. He was always quick to respond to our questions whether it was during the day, after work-hours or during the weekends. Home buying process really comes down to making decisions and whenever we solicited his inputs on key decisions, he provided his recommendations without being pushy or aggressive. Jake helped me buy a home in Alameda. He has intimate knowledge of the area having grown up here, was always punctual to appointments, responsive to my questions, and knowledgeable about the market. As first time home-buyers, we were a bit intimidated by the competitive East Bay Market, but we were lucky enough to work with Jake as our buyers agent. He made the process incredibly easy and smooth. Because Jake is from Alameda, he is incredibly knowledgable about the local eateries, schools, attractions, etc in the area and had lots of recommendations as we toured potential homes. Jake is quick to respond and was able to accommodate our requests to view places within 24 hours or less. We were never worried we would miss out on an opportunity when Jake was on our side. We ended up buying exactly what we were looking for after only our third attempt. We avoided the hassle of a bidding war because Jake listened to what we wanted and found the place for us before it was listed on various property websites. This was possible because of his many professional network connections within the real estate business.The escrow process couldnt have been any smoother, because Jake helps you out every step of the way. He recommended a loan officer for us to use, and she was incredibly quick to respond and answered all of our questions. In 25 seamless days, we were signing closing documents. Everything went according to schedule; despite the holiday season, Jake had the foresight to submit things a little earlier so that the processing of our title wouldnt be delayed due to Christmas/New Year. Jake helped my husband and I, who are both first time home buyers, find our dream home, and was an absolute pleasure to worth with. We waited years to look for a house because we were simply too lazy to and quite pessimistic about the housing market in the Bay Area. Jake was recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad that we finally decided to take the plunge with him!He was incredibly methodical and eased us into it, instead of bombarding us with numerous e-mails (a pet peeve of mine). We did not feel pressured to commit to anything and actually found our home the very first day we went house hunting. Jake was always available to answer our questions and guided us through the entire process. It was reassuring to find someone who wanted to make sure that we got what we wanted.
