RJ is the best in the business! I had been looking for a few years for someone to frame some memorabilia I had from college and wanted it to be done professionally and yet not completely break the bank. RJ calls his work masterpieces and now I know why.I reached out to RJ and told him what I had and he said to leave it to him. His prices are fair and his work is outstanding. I had not worked with Jacquez Art and Jersey Framing before so I took a leap of faith I sent him a signed Jersey, ticket stub, magazine and a few cards. The rest is history. RJ has exceptional communication. You can text him at anytime and he will always respond promptly and professionally. The process does take time and is totally worth the wait. Received absolutely phenomenal pieces from Jacquez Art and Jersey Framing. Had two projects completed as gifts for my sister for her birthday and Christmas. Mr. Jacquez was spectacular and professional throughout the process. He delivers on his word and makes things happen! Quick to respond to messages and answer questions. Gave him total freedom with the designs, and he did not disappoint. This is one of those times where you certainly get what you pay for. The pieces are visually stunning, and look fabulous in person. I had 5 signed soccer jerseys that I wanted framed and found Jacquez Art on instagram. After seeing their quality work, I traveled 45 minutes to meet them. RJ was amazing to work with, a passionate person who loves what he does. The finished products blew me away. When Covid started, I bought a few signed jerseys and photograpsh and wanted to get them displayed in a frame. I looked at pre bought frames that I could do myself, but didnt think they looked that great. Then after searching a few online framers, I found Jacquez Art and Jersey Framing and was blown away by how awesome he can make jerseys look thru custom framing. After filling out the inquiry form with RJ, he was very thorough in giving me information thru email and responded fast to my many emails. The whole process was very easy. RJ has truly turned my signed jerseys into pieces of art. My friends all say how awesome they look. I was literally blown away at the attention to detail and how he was able to fit the signed photographs into the frames so well and how the colors matched up so well with everything. I am so happy to have these treasured posessions and will definitely be bringing more business to him and his shop. They are true professionals and what I consider to be the best in the business!!

A couple of months ago I was looking for a company to frame my collection of Los Angeles Lakers signed retired jerseys. There were a handful of companies that I looked into, who create beautiful frames. Then I came upon Jacquez Art and I fell in love with a number of different styles. I then watched a video of a signed Kobe Bryant jersey frame that RJ designed. I knew then that he was the man for the job. So, I then emailed him describing what I was looking for, and he immediately replied, and then from there we worked together to come up with a design that I would fall in love with. We stayed in touch throughout the entire process, and when I received the masterpiece, it took my breath away. Photos do not do justice to RJs incredible works. I am planning on soon sending another jersey to be framed, with the exact design as the first, a Gail Goodrich signed jersey. Thank you RJ for creating the most beautiful piece that I could have hoped for.

I was lucky to get a signed Tom Brady Jersey and have been lucky to go to 3 of the last 4 Pats Super Bowls. I wanted to ensure that these things were preserved and presented in a professional manner. I searched for Jersey Framing and Jacquez was the first hit. I reviewed the hits, but after reviewing the pics, I was convinced that Jacquez was the place to go. I drove down with jersey and SB tix in hand and as soon as I got there, RJ explained the story of the company and broke out the white gloves to handle the jersey. We talked about what I was thinking, but I left the majority of the project to his expertise. When I picked it up, the framed jersey was on an easel covered for the big reveal!!! I couldnt have been happier, RJ is very professional and just talking to him about your project you can tell the passion that he has for the work and it shows! So happy with the work!!!!

I had contacted Jacquez Art after seeing the great reviews and the samples of previously accomplished projects. I always had great response times with them.My project was for custom framing 3 NBA jerseys. I started by ordering the jerseys and delivering them straight to Jacquez (without even seeing it). Then I worked with RJ and he helped me find a site where I could choose 2 photos for each frame. Great recommendation I must add, because they came out great and I only saw it for the first time after the entire project was completed.After going back and forth discussing my options and color schemes we finalized the decisions. I must add, the first jersey was done and was shown to me. And I CLEARLY made a mistake. The sample shown to me was misunderstood BY ME and I took the final shape to be the same as the sample, when in fact the sample was to only show color combinations. Even though the first jersey was all sealed and completed, RJ went out of his way to reopen and redo the first jersey to the way I initially understood it.The new design made a world of difference as I needed the silver background to pop against my very dark grey man cave/lounge. So its crazy how he redid one jersey completely only to make me happy and did it in record time. Then he proceeded to do the other two in the new my design version as well.I was a little worried when I got the boxes home, as there were some damages on it. When I opened it, the packaging done was incredible and completed surrounded the frame with styrofoam. So there were absolutely no damages to the frames.5 stars !!! (and probably 6) for all the work and coordination on this. Amazing attention to detail and they clearly take pride in their work. I wont be putting my jerseys on the wall until the weekend, but here is a picture I took after receiving them. I was blown away.Look no further, highly recommend them !!

Amazing EVERYTHING! I wanted to get a 79 x 47 painting gallery wrapped and I chose this place after reading reviews on Google and yelp. The shop owner is knowledgeable, very personable, prices reasonable, and the quality of their work was outstanding. If you have a massive piece of art that wont fit in your own vehicle, as of the date of this review, they dont offer delivery services (which is totally understandable), so be prepared to find a way to haul it back to your place. The shop owner did, however, take the time to try and find someone that could deliver it for me, but I just opted to rent a UHAUL cargo van that only cost me about 30 bucks so, not bad at all! At least in this case its less of a hassle and i have control over the painting while in transit. I definitely recommend this place for your framing needs, I know for sure this will be my spot from now on! Thank you!

Fantastic! True artist at their craft. RJ and his wife were amazing. We had an emergency situation where we need to get frames done for a New York art gallery. It had to go out the next day. RJ asked us to come in and accommodated us even though he was swamped with tons of projects. He was able to do all of the projects in front of him and complete our project. It turned out great!!!

WOW! What a wonderful experience. My nephew, a HUGE sports fan had one of his great-grandfathers Dodgers jersey hanging on his bedroom wall with tacks. For his 25th birthday I decided to get the jersey professionally framed along with some other memorablia, (name plate, tading cards etc). After searching and seraching I found Jacquez Art and Jersey Framing. I admit I have ZERO artistic ability so I was SOOO thrilled that RJ took the time to lay out and design the entire display. Where do I even start to praise this man and his team for the beautiful work he did for me. I was blessed to be able to play college basketball, but even more so to eventually graduate. Ive been wanting to have my jerseys framed with my degrees and just didnt know how to get it done the way I envisioned it. Ive contacted a few places in my area (Dallas, Texas) and either the customer service was lacking or the quality didnt match the price. Eventually I came across Jacquez Art and Jersey Framing, located in Cali and RJ reached out to me the same day and I laid it all out for him. RJ was very engaged, sincere, and knowledgeable. Even when I was going through the waiting process he continued to reach out with updates and he always responded when I had a question during the process. Not once did he ever make me feel like I was bugging him and trust me I checked in a lot (haha). He not only was he able to do what I asked, but he took that info then added my schools logos (patches), and even was able to give small descriptions of my time at each school. The man hit it out the park and I just have no words to describe the job he did and or how happy I am. This man took the time to get this done during a pandemic and Im now blessed to know him and call him a friend. Now I have something to pass down to my kids and their kids when Im long gone and I get to thank RJ for the beautiful work he did.

Working with JR was such a pleasant experience. We wanted to frame a large batik textile and were not sure how we were going to do it. RJ Jacquez is my hero! The BEST custom frame shop in Southern California! If I could give them 100 stars, I absolutely would.It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving when I received tasking to have a custom frame and mat done and ready for presentation as a gift by Monday at 1 pm. I was in a panic because of the 48 hour deadline and because the project design required irregular mat cut outs, and I knew that most frame shops have a 2+ week turn around time. I called Jacquez Art and Custom Framing, and to my surprise, Mr. Jacquez picked up the phone and said to come on over so we could discuss the project details. I gave him the photos and coins and the PowerPoint draft of the project. And by 12:30 pm on Monday, he completed a flawless product. It was even better than I’d imagined it could be, and I cannot thank Mr. Jacquez enough for doing such an amazing job. I found Jacquez Art and Jersey framing by literally researching best frame jersey work. I was not disappointed by any means when I did that search . I recently got my Suggs jersey done was so impressed I sent him another jersey of mine Im getting done. From the minute I contacted him, he was very prompt, informative, and within just a few hours (on Father’s Day), we were able to design my husband’s signed Jersey to be framed. All I had was the jersey but RJ was able to suggest also adding a few patches and a picture, which he took the task to find for me.After just 4 weeks, we finally had the pleasure to go meet him and pick up our jersey in Chula Vista. He is a family-owned business, so is there is no mass production and you get the sense of pride he takes in his work. I want to thank Jacquez Art for framing my Signed Croatia Jersey. This was one of RJ’s biggest projects and managed to perfect it. At the very start, I had sent in a preview design to RJ I had made from my computer, and with that, he was able to make the final product look even better than the design, I was just blown away. If there one person who the best in this game, it’s Jacquez Art. The framed jersey looked so beautiful and detailed, and looked like it was made with lots of precision. Contacted this shop to do a custom frame for a co-worker. Their website had several examples of varying styles of frames which I felt fit the look of what I wanted. The plan was to get a polo signed by many of the employees at our work and present it to our Boss in a frame similar to a signed jersey. I provided a VERY rough draft to RJ who said he would be happy to put something together for me. After a few short weeks, I just received the finish product and it looks AMAZING!!! My review will not do their work Justice. I wish I could put actual emotions that were felt in our home when displaying their work. I came across a brown grocery paper bag in our closet. Inside was paperwork, medals, patches, photos, awards, etc. They were my boyfriends fathers military items. He passed away 7 years ago, never really discussing his military years. For quite some time we had several art pieces in the office sandwiched between cardboard to avoid damage. During our recent remodel, we decided it was time to properly display the art on our walls. After a recommendation from another business, we went to visit Jacquez Art hoping to have direction with possible frame combinations. After viewing the art pieces that we wanted to frame, RJ brought out samples of frames to the work table while his wife collected sample mats and placed them next to the frames. His work is legendary. I reached out to him to see about framing an autographed Charles Barkley (76ers) Jersey. I brought in a crumpled certificate belonging to my girlfriend and Jacquez Art was able and willing to do its best in restoring the certificate suitable for framing and presentation. Then it was framed with excellent quality materials and I was even offered a personalized theme for the matte which complemented the certificate. My girlfriend picked up the piece from the store and was elated. This is not an inexpensive framing store but you will get what you pay for. Ive been wanting to write a review for this wonderful Jacquez Art & Custom Framing shop in downtown Chula Vista for well over a month now but couldnt because I was hiding a gift for my fiancé. Well I finally can!From the moment that I stepped in to interview if this shop was going to be able to work with what I was asking for back in August they treated me like I was family. They showed all the different options on framing and mat colors, worked the best they can on a respectable pricing range, and most importantly they showed me how excited they were to get such a different project. R.J. and his wife bent over backwards and then some to make me the wonderfully made Thor shadow box (In the picture gallery).I know my request was far from easy and from an outsider perspective, Im sure I had some silly looking items as keepsakes but they took care of all my items like it was gold. They made me feel very comfortable with leaving all the keepsakes without any doubt. R.J. kept me up to date by emailing me on how the project was coming along and always made sure that I was happy with the progress. He completed the project in a month, which he could have completed sooner but I gave him extra time since I wasnt in a crunch to get it back.When I received the shadow box I was ecstatic. It was way beyond my expectations and couldnt have asked for anything better. I wasn’t sure if I would like the yellow since it’s not a color I favor but it was in the Charger color theme and I’m so happy that I was advised by R.J. and his wife on picking that color because it was perfect. As I mentioned in the beginning I had to hold on to this shadow box for a whole month before showing it to my fiancé and it was killing me inside! The day of my fiancé’s b-day I finally pulled out the shadow box and sadly the football piece at the top left somehow during transporting it came out of the hook that was holding it in place. I instantly called R.J. asking if he would be able to fix it (mind you this is a month later from picking it up!), he calmed me down and welcomed me to come down immediately to fix it with no problem. I showed up and had it fixed within a half hour.I can go on and on about how fantastic Jacquez Art & Custom Framing is. This is a framing shop with a heart! I brought them a piece of art and didnt have any idea of how to frame it.
