I just recently had JMartin put in an HVAC unit in my mom’s home. Complete with new ducting and insulation. I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with them. They took the time to go over all my different options and explain everything to me in detail. I never felt pressured, but yet I could tell they were sincerely eager to service my needs and work with me to find the best solution. From the first person I dealt with, Jesus, to the project manager that oversaw and worked on the install, Irvin and the entire crew, Kevin, Victor, Christian, and Tony. They were on time, professional, extremely friendly and eager to do a good job. When I came home from work at lunch the first day to see how things were going they even offered me some of their pizza. They finish the entire job in just two days, and I was blown away by the quality they showed in every little detail, from suggesting an additional return vent to configuring the ducting to give the new system the best performance possible.They truly make you feel like family.

Had our A/C replaced along with the ducting, and new insulation. We even went with a single system that was zoned (2) to save on power a bit (why have the A/C on upstairs when you’re downstairs, and vice versa). They did a fantastic job for an extremely fair price and to top it off they were professional, clean and courteous. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, so if you’re looking for any A/C work to be done I couldn’t think of a better company to call. Major shoutout to Brandon, Robert, Cliff and Gerry….they showed up on time, kept everything clean and always informed me of what was going on. Give em a raise JMartin!

Called J. Martin Indoor Air Quality and they sent someone out within hours to see what the issue was. Deciding to move forward with the best solution and most affordable for our entire home wed decided to add return ducts to the house. A new crew Brandon and Rob came out the next day to start and complete all work. They were extremely professional, kept the work area very neat and answered all our questions. I would absolutely recommend this company and team to anyone looking for the highest quality most professional job to be done.

They installed our new Mitsubishi mini-split system. Great customer service from start to finish. It was a 2 day installation process. They were prompt, professional, with great communication. Our installers, Santiago and Tony, were very helpful in helping us decide where to place our units and working with our more challenging installation. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. 3 weeks later we are still very happy. Highly recommend.

Jack, Rob and Brandon were amazing! They were prompt, communicated clearly and incredibly kind and patient. We have a small child in the house and they worked around us, we had some adjustments that needed to be made and they figured it out quickly and resolved it for us. Pricing they were competitive too. Jack was super knowledgeable and authentic in his sales pitch, not your usual salesman, he knew what he was talking about and helped us find solutions that worked for our specific situation, he spent a lot of time on us and he remained patient and Empathetic. Rob and Brandon were amazing during installation, they were approachable, knowledgeable and again also very kind. They had some other people support them, including the amazing Mario, whose names I forgot bit again they were also so great and kind. Ive never worked with a service provider that is this client focused, and where every single person they had work with us was incredibly kind, service oriented and professional. Wed hire them back in a heartbeat. We heard about them from our neighbors who loved their work, and those type of referrals mean everything.

Look no further for your HVAC needs. Specifically, I had a Mitsubishi mini split installed and everyone and everything at and about J Martin Air Quality exceeded expectations.I got 4 estimates/bids for the job in total, and selected J Martin for three reasons: Jesus came up with the best solution, the mini split is a Mitsubishi with a longer warranty than most competitors, and the price for the entire job was very reasonable. I spoke with the owner, Jared, before signing the contract and he backed the plan that Jesus came up with.The day of the install, Santiago and Tony arrived, and I’m telling you they went above and beyond. The work was done expertly with attention to all the details… They took pride in what they did. Extremely happy.

J Martin’s installation team consisting of Mario T. and Wilmer H. performed an outstanding job installing our whole house heating and ac system, which included new ducts and vents plus a Google Nest thermostat.The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. I chose JMartin because of they emphasized indoor air quality. My condo does not have any central air system. The heating unit was an old hydronic system which most vendors will not service. My options were limited on what could be done with the existing system. Tony from JMartin came out and took a look and recommended the split system. Tony and Leon assisted me on getting the installation approved with my HOA to meet their requirements. Installers Edgar and Joel did a great job with a clean installation over two days which included shutting down the old system. For anyone who lives in a condo that does not have a central air system I would highly recommend the Mitsubishi American Standard split system provided by JMartin Air Quality. The pricing was right on target and they took care of So Cal Edison discounts which were being offered at the time. The follow up after the work is done is first class. I highly recommend JMartin AQ!

J Martin recently installed a whole house fan for us, and we could not be more pleased with the product and the installation process. It was easy to set up an appointment for installation, and the installation team was friendly, respectful of our property, and efficient. They arrived on time, carefully explained the process, and cleaned up carefully (they even vacuumed to ensure it was totally clean!) after they finished. Then, they took the time to explain the controls to me assured me I could call anytime with questions if we need help with the product. I am a professional Interior Designer, and I have used many HVAC companies through the years, and none compared to the quality of service and customer support you will find at J Martin. I highly recommend using them for any HVAC needs!I had Jared and his team install a five ton compressor with seven Mitsubishi multi split units throughout the house and garage. The job was done in a few days, and working beautifully.After a few weeks, there was an issue with one unit, which we discovered was a minor manufacturing issue, and not related to the install. Jared was out right away to get it repaired, no questions asked!With the complexity of these new systems, you want the peace of mind from a Diamond Certified installer! I first called J Martin when my unit went down. Within 30 minutes, Jared, the owner, was at my place trying to do something for my very old unit. He did fix it right there and then, even though he told me that the unit needed replacement. After doing some due diligence and getting three quotes, I chose J Martin for my unit replacement for two reasons: they provided the best estimate from the beginning and they had great references. Now I know why. The crew, led by Santiago, showed up exactly when they said they would. He, along with Carlos and Tony, were very professional and respectful. The installation went as planned (no surprises is a great thing!) and they left my place just as clean as when they came in. Jared was also super patient and answered a zillion questions in the days prior to the install and on the same day as well. Everyone at J Martin went above and beyond. I highly recommend them!

I was grateful enough to get them same day. Caleb was our Service Technician he sent my husband his name and number. Which made me feel safe as a women knowing who is at my door and there ETA. When he arrived he was friendly, used social distancing, & had a mask ready. He wore stuff to protect my floors from getting dirty. He spoke with my husband prior on what it could be and he was right. I honestly know nothing about my AC and I appreciate how honest they are. Thankful that we didn’t have to buy a whole new AC Unit and that he was able to fix it right away and the price was not very expensive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! I rarely need a HVAC guy but when I do you want someone I feel like I can trust...Jared at J Martin is someone you can trust. I was quoted on a new HVAC unit from other companies and couldnt stand the used car sales pitch they were giving (tell me how much you want to spend and Ill tell you how much it cost). I read all of the reviews on Yelp about J Martin and emailed them at 10:00 pm at night. The next morning they e-mailed back and Jared was at my house by 9:00 am. He assessed the situation and agreed I needed a new one. I asked how much and he gave me a reasonable price, I agreed to it and by the next day the unit was installed and we had ac again. I high recommended this company!! we were not getting heat to several of the rooms of our new home. We had used JMartin air to install a whole house fan last year and were impressed with them then. I called and got Rex Martin and told him about our situation, he told me that he would send his heating specialist out the next day. Tim came out the next day, right on time and set to find out what it would take to take care of our problem. Tim told us what was wrong and what it would take to fix it, as well as what we thought was a reasonable estimate to fix it right.Long story short; All is well and we are warm again. This Company is AMAZING!!! All of the positive reviews they have are completely legit! To go with any other company for HVAC needs would be a mistake. I recently bought a 1960s home and needed to upgrade the ancient HVAC system. After working with four HVAC companies and being bitterly disappointed by their exorbitant quotes and lack of respect for a female homeowner, I was ready to settle for subpar professionalism just to get air conditioning. I believed that the way I was being treated, must just be an industry thing. BOY, WAS I WRONG!!!!A neighbor referred me to J Martin and after meeting Jared of J Martin, I never looked back. Jared came out practically the next day and looked over my home (despite the currently crazy HVAC schedules caused by supply shortages and increase in HVAC consumers). He listened to my needs and came up with a plan. Then the quote...it was SUPER REASONABLE. But the exceptional service did not end there. Jareds workers, especially Kevin and Irvin (pictured below), who came to my home every day for a week were EXCEPTIONAL. I have never had such professionals in my home before. Despite the worksite being hotter than could be, they were always respectful, well dressed, and pleasant. Any questions I had, they answered; any problems that arose, they addressed and fixed; and they were ALWAYS on time. I was never waiting for them to show up. Probably the most impressive thing was that after the end of every day of work, Kevin and Irvin cleaned up the entire workspace, walkways and attic. Even though they would be returning the next day, they vacuumed and swept the areas they had used so that they were spotless. It was such a blessing to find this company. I would recommend J Martin to anyone who wants to work with professionals and true tradesmen who treat you with respect.

We have used J Marin two times in the last couple of years. We have been extremely happy with the communication, customer service and installation process. It is a small family run business and they truly do care about their customers.We first installed a whole house fan - which I would recommend to anybody even considering it. The installers were friendly, efficient and did a great job of making sure everything was cleaned up.Most recently, we decided it was time to upgrade our air conditioning unit. This was a much bigger job so I made sure to get several quotes from other companies. Long story short, J Martin had the best price and offered a much better unit, including replacing all the ducts and repositioning our condenser to a different area in our backyard. They were able to get us scheduled within a weeks time and finished the job the same day. The installers were great. They took the time to explain how the new unit works with our Nest thermostat and made sure they cleaned everything up.I highly recommend this company. Again, it is family owned. He was personable, knowledgeable and honest. This review is long overdue! J Martin has been an absolute pleasure to work with, from the start of our project to the end (and well beyond!). We received multiple quotes from different companies, and -- in addition to being the best value -- J Martin was the ONLY one that mentioned we would be eligible for a $3000 government rebate when replacing our broken gas furnace with an electric heat-pump system. Special thanks to Caleb for pointing that out! Caleb was also the only one to take the time to sit down with us and come up with the right solution, and provided a quote right on the spot.The installation team (I think it was Irvin and Kevin) were super friendly, professional, and thorough (they even came back to fix the airflow in my daughters bedroom). J Martin made sure everything was fully up to code -- they took care of everything, and all inspections passed with flying colors. The system was installed just in time for a scorching summer, and the AC worked like a dream.Once it started getting colder, we realized the heating would stop working at random times throughout the night, however J Martin had someone out here that very next day to take a look. When the problem came back a couple days later, Jared Martin himself came out to inspect. Jared reached out directly to the manufacturer and resolved the issue once and for all (turned out to be a factory defect). Now were all set for winter and the upcoming holidays. I can’t say enough good things about this company! From beginning to the end, everything was done wonderfully! From the first quote to enjoying the final product, it was a fantastic experience! They didn’t just show up on time, they showed a day early! And finished our job in record time. I wasn’t able to be there the day they came. But when I got home in the evening, they had locked up, and left my house cleaner than when I had left! We had the AC wall units installed in our 2 story home. Our A?C unit was having with freezing up and stop working. This problem was an on and off problem. During the current hot weather the A/C stop working. We gave J Martin a call and they responded and came out to diagnose the problem. We would need a new heating unit (this had the fans and sensors) that were giving us problems and were not working with a newer A/C unit installed in 2017 and the furnace part was 25 years old. That was Monday and by Thursday there crew was out replacing the unit. The unit is working with no issues. The price seem fair, but since we had no working A/C and the house was running in 90s it was hard to shop around. SO I would recommend them.

This is actually the second job we have called J Martin IAQ to complete for us. The first was a complete duct installation with insulation in our attic back in December. After a wonderful experience then, we didnt even shop around for our new AC/Furnace installation. Now that it was getting hot, and getting hot fast, we called them again to replace our AC and furnace unit. I called on a Wednesday and was scheduled for the next Monday. Santiago and Carlos arrived right around 8 am, as scheduled, and worked practically non-stop until 3 pm. I absolutely love that they put down tarps in the house and wore booties over their shoes when walking around. They were very courteous to my husband who was working from home and our two small childrens schedules, even asking if it was okay to vacuum while they were napping. They were professional and tested the AC and heater before leaving. They cleaned up everything and we are currently enjoying the wonderful AC. Thank you Santiago and Carlos!

I bought my house last year and it only had a furnace so I badly needed a new AC/Unit. Since this was a big job I made sure to obtain several quotes. After reviewing and discussing the level of effort that was required for my new unit I decided to go with J. Martin. I felt very at ease talking to them and they always got back to me when I had a question. Caleb came out to my home and discussed the process, he was very knowledgeable and provided me a lot of good information.On the day of the install 3 gentlemen came out (Santiago, Carlos, and Luis), when they came in they introduced themselves and walk me through the whole set up. Santiago (lead installer) did notice some issues with my ducting and also found that we had some asbestos, he gave me some recommendations on how to move forward. Not once did I feel pressured into thinking I had to add additional work to the job, but in talking with Santiago and Caleb I did decide to replace the ducting and get a company to remove the asbestos.During the process I had a million questions but Santiago always took the time to explain and answer my questions. They showed me the before and after work and I was very impressed. The cooling system works great and its very quiet. I had installed 4x ductless A/C units to 4 office rooms over a year ago. The quality of ceiling A/C systems are high quality items and so quiets. Everybody loved. I just had another rooms, additional 4 more rooms done same kind. They all love these efficient super model from the above. 3 technicians, drived for 4 days from about 2 hours away. These 3 employees, Kevin, Irvin & Moses, very trained but so happy people. Employee are like that, the owners must be also same respected people. There are first class people, you will love them.

I recently used J Martin to replace my entire A/C system including ducting. I met with Caleb and received a fair quote ( lower then other quotes from comparable companies ) and he coordinated the project. He was very punctual and responded quickly. The construction team Santiago and Carlos were on time and very conscientious about cleanliness. They worked hard but didnt rush. They communicated when there were unforeseen issues or questions on how I would like things done. They did an outstanding job ! I inspected all the work they did including in the attic and it was all well done. Ive waited for a hot day to test the system and currently have a 20 degree delta between supply and return. System is running well and I know that Caleb is only a phone call away If there is an issue. I have recently retired from 40 years in the engineering/construction field. Friday, April 15, 2022 was the first really hot day and we discovered our AC wouldt blow cold air. Made several phone calls to usual AC vendors and everyone was booked solid. I did a yelp/google search and found J Martin Indoor Air, Yorba Linda, with great reviews and nearby. We were put on the waiting list for that day and got a text from Jared about 3pm that he was on his way!! Didnt realize at first he was the owner and appreciated how hard he worked to get our old 2006 AC going, but it was not to be. I was referred to J Martin by my neighbor who had their air conditioning unit replaced by them. They were extremely happy with the team at J Martin, so when my air conditioner was not producing much cool air, I decided to give J Martin a call. I called on a day when they were supposed to be closed, but to my surprise, someone answered the phone, and I was able to schedule an appointment to have my unit checked. I felt that everyone I worked with was being completely honest with me, and I did not feel that they were trying to sell me things I did not need. Turns out my unit was fine, but my ductwork, which was original to the house, was inefficient and not able to move much air. J Martin replaced all the ductwork and installed different registers that allow more cool air to flow into the rooms. I recently had my AC go out and was unable to use the company I usually use and was referred to J Martin. Right from the beginning the communication was excellent and they diagnosed it the same day. Caleb explained the situation and gave me the options that I had and the expected time frames for each. We had a whole house fan installed by J Martin several years ago. It has been the single best investment weve made in our house and we use it regularly. Years later, I still remember how patient Rex was with us in explaining our options and the technology. The level of service we received sold the deal for us. The installation team did an excellent job and were super courteous in educating us about how to use the system. They left no mess and only good vibes.The whole house fan experience led us to call J Martin a few months ago when our 20+ year old AC systems compressor failed. I shopped around quite a bit ended up going with Jared due to his professionalism, patience, and forthrightness. The AC Pro condenser/ultra low nox furnace system we ended up with is fantastic. They ran new copper piping, installed new ducts in 2 attics, a Honeywell zone board, and installed a Nest E thermostat upstairs (we had a 3rd gen downstairs already). Some other contractors had tried to upsell us into getting a heat pump because of alleged noise from these low nox furnaces but, as Jared had promised, noise hasnt been a problem given the location of the system. Irvin and Kevin installed the system for us over the course of a few days and were nothing short of amazing. They were very polite, did excellent work, and I enjoyed the amusing banter and rapport they had with one another.While the system isnt 100% perfect - we discovered after installation that the furnace we have cant independently run the blower fan at more than a trickle when the condenser or furnace arent running - I/we were still pleased with the service we got in trying to rectify this issue and, overall, the AC condenser and furnace are efficient and good at what they do when theyre switched on. Jared spent a lot of time on the phone and text with me trying to find creative solutions to try to get it to work how we wanted to use the system. We are grateful for J Martin and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a whole house fan or HVAC replacement. We called J Martin for estimated and approximate time to come out and installation time for a Quiet Cool Stealth 5.5 system. Everything would out as planned. Joseph and Hector their installation team showed up on the agrred date and time. They did an evaluation of our attic to determine if the space, outside vents, and placement of register for proper circulation of air throughout our home were ok for this system. They also explained the installation time ( about an hour). We agreed for them to proceed with the installation. Everything they promised was delivered. Very clean, provided lots of info and instruction for the use of the fan. Now the fan, I wish I would have purchased one sooner. I had been debating it for a long time now and finally did it. Let’s start by quoting an often used adage that holds true for most things in life, and that is “you get what you pay for”. When it comes to investing in a new or updating your HVAC, do not underestimate this proverb. In our case, our 30 year-old system was shot, and the entire system needed to be replaced. After checking and comparing multiple companies quotes and services we selected J. Martin to do the job. A number of contributing factors led to this decision, but being able to speak and meet directly with the owner Jared and working with a small business who’s mission statement reflects quality and superior service was the major selling point for us. From start to finish, we were very happy with the products selected and installation process to give us the most efficient HVAC for our needs.A year later when it came time to update our rental unit, without question we contacted Jared and his team to see exactly what needed to be done. Since the currently installed unit was 30 years old, lacked sufficient air flow along with other deficiencies, we made the difficult decision to replace and re-route the entire system. Thanks to Jared’s and Kathryn’s help with rebate offers from SoCal Edison and California CleanAir on electric heat pumps, we spent the extra money for the unit that in turn yielded a lower cost in the end. Impressive quality of work. Tony and his team Ernardo, Luis and David not only delivered what they promised but went well above and beyond. We wanted to fix our aircon system in our new home; last summer the 2nd floor was essentially an oven and we couldnt feel any air coming out of the vents. I went initially to another large well known company who proposed a dual duct system which I nor my husband could understand how it could fix our situation. I then went to J Martin to get a price comparison and they essentially proposed a completely different solution. I liked Rex Martins and Tonys no-nonsense manner (they almost didnt seem like they cared whether we accepted them or not ;) and their solution seemed more practical albeit much more complicated than the previous companys. They essentially proposed to move the furnace unit to the attic and to attach a new duct system from there (the old ones were completely crushed!) I was a little nervous but Tony was so assured we went ahead with it. They then suggested that we would need 2 return vents instead of one. My husband who is very aesthetically minded hates these vents which he thinks are eyesores. But Tony convinced us that we would need both to get enough air circulation since we had such a large heat pocket up here (he wasnt charging us for the second but just wanted to make sure he left behind happy customers). He was right about everything. We now have great air flow in all our upstairs rooms, even in the guest room where there wasnt even a functioning vent, and the vents are not at all an eyesore. I cant think of one complaint in this whole process. It took 3 days but it was a big project that deserved time to deliver quality work for a reasonable price. You can see the professionalism and the experience, as well the courtesy and service (they even super-vacuumed our floors. Youd never have known they were there). I would never go to anyone else for help with our aircon and heating systems.

Three years ago had Gerry and Cliff install a whole house fan and attic fan in my two-story house. Best investment.
