Since starting with Dr. Victoria Liu, her expertise and dedication were evident in every session as she took careful time to evaluate and provide targeted exercises that alleviated my pain and improved my mobility. She and her team have gone above and beyond my expectations and all my experiences with them have been great, including treatment, communication with the office, and the overall atmosphere that they create. One of the things Ive liked about my sessions with Dr. Victoria is that she teaches you how other parts of the body affect the area that you are experiencing pain, and she comes up with a treatment that is specific to you and what you seek to improve. I went from experiencing neck and back pain every day to having very little to no pain. I have Dr. Victoria to thank for this change.I have also been working with Dr. Christina Alvarez who has been absolutely wonderful -- she is always warm, welcoming, encouraging and has provided pilates and strength training that I have noticed has made a significant difference in my day to day life. I am grateful to her for her commitment to improving the well-being of her patients and for the positive and supportive environment she creates during each session.Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Ironhorse and would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Ironhorse PT came highly recommended to me by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! I did 3 individual Pilates sessions as well as a month of the group Pilates classes to focus on pelvic floor strengthening and relaxing when I was 7-8 months pregnant. The first evaluation session with Dr. Victoria was fantastic to learn how to focus breathing and build mind muscle connections to the correct muscles leading into the group sessions with Shideh and additional 1:1s with Christina.I am SUPER happy with my results- I was able to work out until the day I went into labor, had a VERY smooth and quick labor, and am getting back into light exercise 2.5 weeks postpartum. Looking forward to starting some more sessions for recovery! Thanks to the whole team!

I was referred to Dr Victoria Liu for pelvic floor therapy after the birth of my first child. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and approachable, and always willing to meet me where I’m at! With her help, I feel confident about getting back to high intensity exercises like running and jumping without fear of leaking. Together, we work on a truly personalized program so that I can show up stronger for myself and my family.Aside from the actual physical therapy, Victoria and her staff are also super helpful and responsive, from helping to file insurance claims to rescheduling appointments.

Competitive runner and tennis player. I strained my adductor and went to several different PTs. When I walked into Victoria’s office and saw all of her racing medals I knew I had found the right spot. She was much more thorough than any PT I had worked with and provided clear guidance on my recovery plan, excellent customer service and outstanding follow-up/communication through the process. After seeing Victoria I was back running within weeks and full training within a few months. I highly recommend Victoria and her team if you need PT.

The quality of pelvic floor physical therapy I received from Victoria & Christina was beyond my expectations. The moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for my journey to better pelvic health.Victoria is an expert in this field, possessing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. In just a few minutes, she knew the pain I was experiencing did not have to do with round ligaments (as confirmed by my doctor at 17 weeks pregnant) but was actually Pubic Symphysis that needed strengthening exercises so I could even walk without experiencing any pain.Throughout my physical therapy, Victoria & Christina consistently demonstrated high levels of professionalism and dedication. Throughout the program, they carefully monitored my progress and adjusted my plan as necessary to make sure I achieved optimal results. Their holistic approach to pelvic floor rehabilitation encompassed a combination of manual therapy techniques, targeted exercises, and invaluable education on pelvic health and self-care practices. Thanks to their expertise and guidance, I have experienced significant improvements in my symptoms Im able to enjoy my pregnancy and continue being active without feeling the pain in every movement. Not only have they helped me regain function and confidence in my daily activities, but they have also empowered me with the knowledge and tools to maintain long-term pelvic health.I cannot recommend Victoria highly enough for anyone seeking pelvic floor physical therapy. Pregnant mommas out there dont settle in for the common misdiagnosis, its safer to get it checked by a pelvic floor therapist than be sorry later.Thank you, Victoria and team, for your outstanding care and dedication to your patients well-being.

I turned to Ironhorse for a left hip/leg injury from running, my first time in physical therapy. They made me realize my past healings werent complete, and just masked other issues. Their holistic approach boosted my strength and mobility in chronic pain areas. Each week, I feel stronger, regaining hip stability and mobility. Their Pilates sessions also really improved my strength and mobility. These classes are small and feel more like a 1:1 personal training session. My body always feels more balanced and stronger after each session. The teams kindness, care, and expertise made my experience fantastic. I highly recommend Ironhorse for anyone needing rehab.

I cant thank Victoria and her team enough. They are absolutely excellent. I had a fractured metatarsal over 6 years ago that was never properly diagnosed and treated. On top of that, I had two children fifteen months apart. Victoria helped me through it all. She identified my foot issue quickly and helped me rehab it so that I could get back to running. We also addressed my core and pelvic floor recovery after both children. My second child is now 9 months old and I am back to running/working out without issues. I am so so grateful to Victoria for everything she has done. If your goal is to get back into fitness post injury or baby, dont hesitate to reach out to Victoria. She is a life saver!!!!

After several months of acupuncture, chiropractic care, and insurance-based PT for sciatica due to L5-S1 herniated/bulging disc, I was dissatisfied with my level of progress. I was quite stiff and weak in my back and hips, which led to reduced mobility and flexibility and sciatic pain, and I was not able to participate in any physical activity other than walking and light swimming without fearing I would worsen my condition or injure myself. In addition, my core was weak and I had a diastasis recti from my pregnancies from over 10 years ago.Ironhorse PT & Pilates and Kate Allen are a godsend! I am so grateful I found this place and gave it a try. Their prices are steep but worth every penny! Victoria Liu quickly returned my initial phone inquiry and talked with me for almost 45 minutes. I was taken aback and hesitant because Victoria does not mince words and told me that I had misconceptions about the repair processes for both the disc herniation and diastasis. I was also skeptical that another PT would make that much of a difference. But I am so glad I put my doubts aside and made my first appointment with Kate Allen.I can’t say enough good things about Kate. She is so personable, professional, kind, and very dedicated to your well-being. She is so passionate about what she does and that is manifested in her level of care. My plan included additional home exercises, cupping, and a therapeutic massage every couple of weeks. Within just a few sessions I was getting stronger and more flexible and over time, my sciatic pain had significantly decreased. After two months, Kate thought I was ready to start weekly pilates classes. My prior misconceptions about my diastasis getting worse popped up again, but I’m so glad I set those aside. The PT-led pilates classes aided my recovery by strengthening me and dramatically improving my posture and my body awareness. And a bonus: pilates had shrunk my diastasis. Over time, Kate tailored my plan with more exercises to stretch out my tight hips and strengthening exercises. Although I often complain about how much time I spend with my stretching and strengthening exercises every day, I wouldn’t have gotten this far without them and consider them exercises for life – essentially preventive care from injuries and a ticket to being physically active again. Thank you Kate and Ironhorse PT & Pilates!

I went to Ironhorse after doing months of in-network PT for tendinitis / pain in my knee and ankle, but still feeling pain doing simple things like walking up the stairs. I was hesitant to switch to out-of-network PT at first, but it is very much worth it! Dr. Tina listened to all my concerns about my knees & ankles and developed a customized rehab program that addressed not only the specific areas of pain, but holistic strength and mobility throughout my legs and core. Each session, we adjusted the exercises based on my progression & pain level. Instead of just managing my pain, I’ve now returned to my former level of activity (and aiming to go past it). I feel more equipped to continue building strength and mobility safely and effectively. Would 100% recommend!
