I called multiple patent attorneys and agents before deciding to go with iP TECH PROS, and I can honestly say that it was the best decision I could’ve made. Ron Penaflor greatly exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process. Not only did the process end up taking a lot less time than anticipated, but Ron was also able to get every single claim (38 total) accepted in my application.Ron’s attention to detail and knowledge was quickly evident to me with how he was able to turn my product idea into a pending patent application within a matter of weeks. I feel like I can be a pretty difficult person to please, so I have to admit that I was very impressed with Ron’s willingness to take the time to review each page of the patent with me, as well as to answer any questions I had along the way.Matter of fact, Ron was so knowledgeable that he was the only person I ended up having to involve throughout the entire process. The bottom line is that if you have an idea that you believe is worth pursuing a patent on, there’s no one else I’d trust to get it done than Ron.

If you have an idea that you want to patent I highly, highly, highly, recommend iP TECH PROS! My dad always said “your a little kid with big ideas!” Fast forward many years later Watson Golf is born. I was nervous to patent my invention because I wasnt sure if it was worth the time or money. iP Tech Pros gave me clarity in understanding the need for the patent, how my invention was unique and needed to be protected. Additionally, I was surprised at the cost, as it wasnt as costly as I thought it would be. iP Tech Pros were very thorough in the research process and from start to finish provided clear and consistent communication. I would certainly recommend them!

Ron was instrumental as a patent agent. Very professional. Very timely and fantastic follow up. He has a very good understanding of not only the patent process but all of the aspects of what you might face in the future with your project. He has an engineering background and has worked with top law firms. On top of all this, he and his team were very nice. He personally walked my team through the process and made sure the appropriate follow up was made. Highly recommend!!

Ip tech was reccomended to me by a friend who is a patent attorney for a large corporation. He said his company has worked with Ip tech for a lot of years, and they’re the best around. He said even better they wouldn’t break the bank like his and other large corporate companies would.My experience with Ron was as good as it gets. He’s genuine, professional, and very intelligent.He helped me navigate through the very confusing patenting process. And was there to answer any questions as they came up.To my surprise the patent was successful the first attempt, and I give all the credit to Ron. I’ve used him twice for different patents, and have reccomended him to a few friends.A lot of us have come up with a great idea only to see it years later on tv or in the stores. I have had four patents issued since the 1980s. For each I used a different patent attorney. For the first three I was living on the east coast. In each case I used a law firm run by a solo practitioner. The last attorney I used in San Diego had since retired. I have a great dislike for big law firms. They are all about billable hours and their service and fees often do not translate to value or, necessarily, perfect work product.I found IP TECH PROS on an internet search. I engaged with them and found them to be very personable and knowledgeable. My patent was not straightforward and they were extremely accommodating and patient, working with me until I felt that we had got it right.I am somewhat reluctant to address the issue of fees but I do wish to make a point: it is generally not a good idea, when seeking professional services, to make modest fees a priority. However in San Diego, with all the biotech, many firms are charging in excess of $500/hour and, as intimated above, the value is generally not tangible. I found IP TECH PROS fees to be quite reasonable.There is no doubt in my mind that with IP TECH PROS I got some of the best value available. I also got a finalized patent application that, I believe, served my invention very well. I will most definitely use them again.
