I am a professional tax preparer. I used to love Intuits product.They just lost 85% of my clients data. They will not help me regain it. I paid them for cloud back-ups of everything, and they are telling me the cloud back-ups are missing as well.Yes, I am in the process of getting a lawyer. Just wanted to warn anyone and everyone: DONT DO BUSINESS WITH INTUIT. EVER!!!!

Ive been using QuickBooks almost since the day the company started back in the 80s, doing bookkeeping for small businesses. It was great until they started trying to control their customers with all this online stuff. No, I do not want to do anything on the cloud. I do not want you to have my records. I do not want you to do my payrolls. I just want a simple software that I can control from my office. As I am getting old, I just let go of my last customers. Might have to visit a couple of them one or two more time to make sure they have everything working right. They hate how Intuit is trying to control their businesses from afar.

If I could give quickbooks a -10 rating, I would. They have glitches they know about and dont fix. 29 stuck paychecks, 14 steps for each one to fix it. What a waste of time. If a smart person wants to get rich, build accounting software that works!

Quickbook Payments allowed an Amex customer to commit fraud against our company. It ended up costing us thousands of dollars. We called Quickbooks and because of a language barrier, we could not even understand them over the phone. I ask to speak with a supervisor but he refused. We have to cancel our relationship with quickbooks because they have ZERO fraud protection and horrible customer service.

Do NOT use this product!!!By far the WORST company to deal with. The program is full of bugs and its constantly causing accounting issues. And occasionally they lock your account without reason and it takes days to unlock.

I have had quickbooks for a few years now. It does what it’s supposed to do. My gripe with this company is that it is very hard to nearly impossible to get a human being on the phone when you have an issue that needs to be resolved. In this case, it’s changing the credit card information on file to the person who bought my business. Over and over the phone answering system directs you to online articles. It also forces you to interact with an automated chat entity that wastes your time. When someone did call me back it was someone whose English was bad. When I asked for a native speaker of English they just put another Pilipino woman on the line whose English wasn’t as bad and was unable to solve my issue.Chase (the credit card company) continues to allow the recurring charges even though I’ve had new cards issued with new numbers.I just feel it is abysmal customer service when the people you are working with will do just about anything but talk with you. Once they sell you their product and get your credit card information, they are above talking with you.

TurboTax Intuit has been scum for years, hence the more recent lawsuit held against them from multiple states, as they were stealing money from low-income Americas filing taxes with this service. Very clear that has continued, as they took $188 from my tax return, & their reasoning was for $50 some odd dollars going into a retirement fund. I take screenshots with all that I due & since this is small claims/criminal, I will be suing for 3x damages plus court fees as that is my legal right. Happy I made under 30k & took all the screenshots to prove. If this company has stolen money, you should 100% sue as I am, its clear this company is negligent & with this current practice policies, they wont be around much longer (sue now b4 they admit bankruptcy). The Government doesnt like tax fraud& the more we report & take to court, the more likely they will be held accountable for tax fraud. Seeing others comments about this company taking thousands, I really hope they sue for criminal b/c the courts will force them to pay back for damages. Just remember : Tax Fraud = Criminal. Criminal = 3x the damanges PLUS court fees in restitution to those they have fraudulently stolen tax money from.

Ive been using quickbooks for 15 or so years, now that quickbooks has developed an error i contact them for help and get the run around with terrible technical support help and invitations to pay extra to receive support on problems that appeared directly after running an upgrade. Ill be looking at other options for bookkeeping software moving forward. also your website provides no (reasonable to find) place to direct concerns about your support practices, pricing or software so here is your feedback on google maps. I am left wondering how well my data is being and has been managed by your software and as such my level of trust in your abilities is below where it needs to be to continue using your products.

Awful software. They just underpaid my staff half their hours because they dont accurately sync time into payroll. Huge frustration and waste of my time dealing with them to get this corrected, with no guarantee it wont happen with next payroll run.

Quickbooks does not keep a backup of simple start online data. Due to a software error my banking data was fed into three accounts. One new one, the existing account double entries and a third inactive non-related bank account. No only can I not delete the duplicate entries, I cannot see multiple lines. The software as written has destroyed my bookkeeping. BREARE SIMPLE START HAS NO BACKUP. WHEN QB DESTROYS YOUR INFO YOU HAVE NO WAY TO FIX IT. The ONLY solution is to pay someone to fix it.

I spent two hours today with a QB specialist and got nowhere with a situation where QB took money from my account for a customers payment I never received the money for. Not only did the specialist not know how to fix the automated transaction QB platform added to my account incorrectly, but she couldnt understand that this was a QB issue on QB end. She shared an email with me that had me upload documents and told me that I could communicate with QB through the email to follow up on the escalated issue. I responded to the email, and it sent me a no reply auto message that it didnt have a case for me? Fix your customer service! This one if many issues!

I must say, I was a happy customer and gave this company thousands and thousands of dollars of my business. but they started dropping support to older versions even if you would agreed to pay, arm twisting you to upgrade and pay a whole lot more.It is my personal experience that thiis company is no longer what it used to be. I like to migrate to MAC, when I went to purchase the test version I was told that I did not have to wait since the new 2014 release was to come out within 15 days and I would be upgraded.I have made numerous calls and spent more than 4 hours on the phone and there is nothing but excuses.Intuits refuses to listen to the recorded conversation made during their sale.todays excuse is that I have missed the redemption period but there is also record that I have made phone calls on this issue before within my redemption period.they were just late in their release and do not want to honor their promise.I was planning to switch my entire company from PC to MAC quick books, but i will consider other options at this point. I am sure there are better options out there from companies that truly honor their promises.I am not a happy guy. Intuit is no longer a team player in my case. I have been a QB online customer for almost four years. On occasion QB and my bank connection has a miss-fire and the software engineers must reset the connection. This repair is usually made within 24 hours. Last week this happened (Sunday) and I contacted QB right away (Monday) and was told it would be taken care of. Two days later I call back to find nothing has been done and they wanted to try more troubleshooting steps (although I was never contacted to try these troubleshooting steps). I walked through these steps and nothing was fixed. I was told it would be escalated and fixed within 24 hours. I then called back a couple days later (Friday) because I still had no connection to sync my bank account and spoke with a supervisor who assured me that it was being taken care of and should be fixed shortly. It is now Monday and still nothing. I contact QB and requested to speak with a director because this issue wasn’t being resolved and now 8 days in and getting the same “we are working on it” spiel. I was told that a Director would NOT speak to me and I would just have to wait until the problem is resolved We are at the end of Dec., tax time is right around the corner and I have no way to reconcile my books for P&L’s or balance sheets. This is ridiculous and QuickBooks could care less.

5.9.22INTUIT Product INTUIT IDENTITY ID is JUNK doesnt work after you hook up a product like lifelock which is not anything like lifelock... I bought for $50 with a audit tax guarranty bundle..I hooked Audit ID up & it dropped off disconnected a few days later. WHAT??? Spent an hour on Audit Iad runn around with 4 afents getting 3 other numbers and 2 email addresses. STAY AWAY FROM TAX AUDIT WHOSE IN THE BUNDLE ALSO. They will not refund my $50. So I am letting Dave the owner know his product add ons suck. They dont work. Dont buy it. Also, taxe questions when filing dont ask for losses in investing, in filling out, nor do they ask any interest paid on loans. Looks like Dave the owner of INTUIT on all the complaints doesnt care. Well, there in silicon Valley that says it all.

Worst customer service. I am the owner and it is taking months to change administrators. Tired of waiting, verifying who I am (although listed as owner) and sent ID license with many forms. They have yer to help. Speaking with my bookkeeper now to cancel them. If you have a problem with them..... good luck it takes months to get it done. Now hate them!

Dont get QuicikBooks at a discounted special price unless you are willing to be cheated.We had purchased QB at a special rate. Later we needed to have a second license. Our original license was cancelled and we were sold a 2 license package. When the network would not come up properly we were told that we needed to buy an $800 service package. The whole process took many hours and in the end we asked to cancel the whole thing and go back to the original single license.Because the single license was no longer available at the discounted rate, we were charged an additional $189 for not being serviced. The agents that I spoke to all blamed on the problem on their computer system. They could do nothing.The only reason we still have QB is because all our records are in that system.

QuickBook PremierDeep sigh, too much to type, so will cut it short.We purchase quickbook 2016 in Fall of 2016. From 2016 to 2017 we have been getting various error messages and I had to pay to fix it in 2017. Then whatever they did was not fixing the issue I had to upgrade to solve the issue is what they said to me, they can not do anything about it. So i had to purchase quickbook in less than a year. They only good thing is that they gave me discount but i refuse to purchase a new quickbook in less than a year. On top of that, the upgrade is no different, it seems like they just fix the 2016 problematic quickbook, and called it 2017 for it to be purchase again. This has never happen before, however am upset because after months of calling i had to pay again for them to fix their problem. I should have received a free quickbook, because they sold me a default quickbook, keep fixing it, tell me its ok, then the problem arrive again. This is a marketing strategy.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC!!!! We have been a Customer for over 10 years and there service is going down the drain with this integrated Payroll/QB process. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REP KNOWS ANYTHING except the SECRET anonymous Engineering Team... and they never return your call. Do NOT download QuickBooks 2014 update if you use their payroll. It doesnt work and has huge issues; especially if you have a lot of employees. Printing checks, stubs, and even getting into the payroll system just crashes it. After a while you will crash it so many times that it will corrupt your data. We have 200 people we cant pay - not cool.QuickBooks used to be great. But it seems like they are too focused on upselling and new cool features and less concerned about testing and getting it right. Brad Smith - we need you to reconsider. Please ignore the shareholders, spend the $ getting the product right, and the money will come.

Ive been a customer of QBO for over 6 years. Every time they do an update we all pay, there is some bug that we have to find a work around. The latest one is you cant convert an estimate to an invoice. You have to hand type it, yes you heard me right like the 1950s. This problem has been going on for about 4 months and no fix. I dont know if they offshore there engineering but if you told me they did I would not be surprised. Its sad the product is good but the engineers keep destroying what is working. They obviously do zero to little beta testing so when they roll out a new version there is always a bunch of customers upset because it doesnt work anymore.

QuickBooks Online does NOT impress this Sage 50 user. Here are some of the many shortcomings:• no way to preauth a credit card• cannot delete a customers saved credit card• Online support chat wastes your time and blames issues on browser cache• There is not qty for a line item on vendor invoices unless its an QBO inventory item• Corp credit card accounts need to be created in the Asset class instead of the Liability class so you can link and reconcile them• The receipt upload function doesnt always work - came up with Bad Gateway for some of our uploads. What if we had already thrown the receipts away?

QuickBooks is a wonderful software program which weve been using for years. Recently, we switched to the Non Profit Edition (online version) and are absolutely blown away at how much it has to offer! The help received to upload the business was incredible and the agent was extremely kind and understanding.

As someone who was a stay-at-home mom for almost 3 years who then decided to open her own business and dive back into the world of computers - I am very pleased with QuickBooks. I find it quite user friendly. I just had a quick tutorial from my accountant for about an hour one evening, and then I just occasionally have a question here and there as I learn new things. But all in all, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend the program.

No words can describe my frustration with intuit and theyre so called customer service. I have never in my life, experienced this type of unprofessionalism from a company. Theyre customer service has been the worse by far. 60mins wait on the phone is just ridiculous to get a rep on the phone and when I do get someone, they are not capable of resolving my issue. I should have trusted the bad reviews online from Intuit, but never again will I ever do business with this company.I have been waiting a deposit for over a week now and they still havent released my funds. On top of that, my customers event was last week and I had to pay out of my money to cover for the event because Intuit has my money on hold.I called several times every day and the waiting time is always 45mins to 65mins. They said the customer was not answering the phone to confirm the transaction and they left him a voice mail to call them back. What customer is going to be on hold for 60 mins to confirm a transaction? If it were fraud what I was committing, by this time, the customer would have contacted his bank about it. I spoke to many of theyre reps and they were not able to help me, they just contradicted each other.Right now, Im hoping they finally release my funds tomorrow. Im sure this is not all Im going to go through tomorrow.Please, people do not do business with them!!!! I dont recommend to anybody!

BEWARE! I had to make contact with TurboTax support. I explained that my voucher for state e-filing would not work. I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay the money to file. I was told that I was speaking with the SouthWest call center. I started with a guy by the name of Nathan. He then passed me to a girl named Amanda who thought that my issue seemed to be hilarious. I then requested her superior and she would not provide information or offer to transfer me. I was able to get that his name is Dylan and that he is the operations manager. She told me that her title at the beginning of the conversation was supervisor and then miraculously changed her title to coach when I asked again. I then brought this up and said, Which one is it?. She said it was Supervisor/Coach. I find this hard to believe. She then said she was going to get an address so that I could snail mail my concern. Then comes back and says she doesnt have one. I am furious by this point. She tells me that the is going to escalate to tier 2 and have them email me. Then later refers to it as an email from the office of the president. As I am frustrated and getting nowhere, I hear other people listening in who also think this is comical. I have still not received an email. Bottom line is that this company is completely unprofessional. I spent money on something I am unable to use now. I have used this product for many years and will no longer be using it. I will be sure to spread the word to my friends who use this product.

The software does what we needThough the software works well, we do have a few issues from time to time, we have submitted the bug reports. The thing that I am unhappy about is the sales process. We called and spoke with an Intuit Sales person and he recommended the Premier version and, as it turns out, this version is way more than we needed and we not using all the features that the sales person said we needed.

I wish I could give a no-star review. Its no wonder this company hasnt claimed the business on Yelp. There would be an outpouring of criticism for their practices.BEFORE purchasing, or renting anything from intuit, make sure you understand what will happen if you dont follow their upgrade policy, which is, at a minimum, of every 3 years, or you will lose the following:- online banking and bill pay- payroll services- quickbooks payment- billing solutions- technical supportAND, if you dont maintain your YEARLY upgrade (which is essentially paying for the product again) and you are using any service tied to that support, like credit card processing (allowing you to send an invoice to a customer with a link so they can pay online) will NO LONGER FUNCTION.You would think that they would recognize this practice alone caused me, and probably many others to seek a new credit card processor...DUH!.They try to sell this under the guise of high quality customer support (quote from a response from the office of the president of intuit)In an ongoing effort to ensure our customers gain the most benefit from QuickBooks products and receive high-quality customer support for current and recent versions of QuickBooks, Intuit discontinues access to services for older versions of QuickBooks (e.g., technical support, online banking, merchant services, etc.).Anyway, online banking does not require anything from intuit servers. It is a direct connection to the bank. There is no need to discontinue it except to use it as a lever to force their customer, who has likely paid them a LOT of money over the years, to pay them yet again.I can understand not having support, and I dont care about that. Deliberately turning things off is something a lowlife does.I highly suspect that some of the 5 star reviews are not legit.

This is by far, the worst company to deal with. Their customer service will never know what they are talking about, they will put you on hold for 20 minutes for a transfer. Why? Oh I should mention you will always talk to someone out of the country unless its the sales team. Yay!If you decide to go with Intuit, you better hope you never have an issue worth contacting them about or youll go nuts trying. Actually, youll want to strangle the person through the phone.0 stars.

Actually if I was just rating costumer service, I would have to have negative strars (what ever they may be). I have used Quicken by Intuit for years. last year it stopped working. I tried to contact Quicken to determine why. Never was able to talk to one of their personnel. My call was shifted out of country to I dont know where (My Pay Pal Accunt simply indicates payment was made to a business out of country). Was told could fix my program and give me 2 years support for $XXX.xx. the program worked again, but I realy dont understand why I had to pay for a program I had purchased from intuit in the first place. Spent days trying to find out. Even called their corporate office. I sincerely hope none of you folks out there who are using Quicken have to go through this experience. If I could find any program that was locally supported I would switch in a heart beat. I dont know that this was a scam, but when yoiu believe all your financial data for over a four to five year period is lost, and you cant get hold of the company one can become desperate to save the files. Straight forward contact and an explanation of what happened is not unreasonable to expect from a corporation of this magnitude.

Upgraded to Quicken 2013 deluxe 2 1/2 months ago, cant get it to work, customer service is lousy. I recommend dont buy Quicken. I have either called or sent an email to Quicken everyday for the last 75 days, never get a response back. I have been told over 10 times in the last week that my problem has been escalated and I will get a call back shortly. Yesterday I waited 8 hours, no call. QUICKEN STINKS AND SO DOES THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Cant transfer my saved backups on to my Quicken 2017 and couldnt get a phone assist without waiting over 1/2 hour. I tried online chat and he couldnt help me. I am furious. Quicken is very expensive for a Senior living on Social Security. I feel ripped off!

Were a 5-attorney law firm and have used Quickbooks since our founding, 20 years ago. Quickbooks is easy to learn and use, and as our firm grows were able to add features to accommodate our needs. With our payroll service subscription tax tables are automatically updated, saving me time and preventing errors. The automated reports are easily transmitted to our accountants for corporate tax planning. Maintaining a small support staff is part of what contributes to our firms success. As office/business manager, Im responsible for billing, bookkeeping, payroll and HR duties, and Quickbooks many automated features make it possible for one person to do it all.

I agree with some of the other comments on customer service at Intuit. If I could give a 0, I would. I have been a customer with Intuit since 2011 and have not had any problems with customer service until now. I added a client to my account and have been trying to get Payroll set up since 10/9/2020. First, they ask for more ID documents which I supplied. Nothing happened, then I have tried to call customer service which is impossible because you are directed to help online. Then you have to leave a message and someone is supposed to call you in 5 minutes. Not true. When I do receive a call, (I called 3 times and got 3 different answers to my problem). I was told each time my problem would be escalated and someone will call me, NOT HAPPENED. I am still waiting for my problem to be resolved. I had high remarks for Intuit, until today. I will not refer them anymore to anyone. FRUSTATED CLIENT.

Not honest and all hidden fees, my experience started with FREE and ended up with $155 to file my tax with no option after spending 2 hours to fill forms. so I preferred to pay $155 since I did not want to spend 2 more hours again. Sorry but this is not honest approach I believe.

Then, to top it off, they have taken 3 months to attempt to process a product purchase refund and said it went through when it ABSOLUTELY didnt as the card they sent it to is closed. Promised to call me back, and have yet to. Do not use TurboTax! They will rip you off and provide ZERO customer service.

I just spent 2 hours plus in a remote session (Ref #504109805) with Intuit tech support and unlike former sessions, which were helpful and productive, this was a frustrating disaster!! The tech seemed in a rush, her speech was difficult to understand. It might have been her accent mixed with equipment problems?I asked her to turn the call over to someone else – she declined. As a result some of my account list was rearranged but the bottom line goals weren’t achieved. Very Aggravating!!

This year my CC WAS CHARGED for both FEDERAL and STATE RETURNS WITHOUT asking me which I wanted to pay for, In CA we do not have to file taxes if we do not owe money, When I called customer support aprx 2 hours ago I was told that they could not reverse the chgs. on my CC, EVEN THOUGH I HAD NOT CLICKED ONFILE. Was on the phone for over an hour 3 times trying to get this resolved. had to pay and order 3 more. They charged us over $2300 for merchant fees just last month alone. I have dealt with 3 different techs trying repeatedly all the same steps and taking 30 minutes to an hour each time to solve my problems. I have purchased CA state as an additional state for the last 15 years but when I need to redownload it they dont even show up under my downloads which are suppose to be available. I have a new computer and must redownload 2015 CA and the techs have not been able to figure it out. Need help soon.

I offered to fly someone to Mountainview (or location) to assist, without even a no thanks.ITEM: Your project team failed to understand that a new/renewed security certificate would be needed when this server was relocated.ITEM: you did not have source control of the DLL software, and had to ask us for a copy of YOUR own program.We have passed the good intentions stage as your company has impaled all it’s users on the horns of this dilemma, and we now find ourselves in an untenable situation. I would appreciate a call from you, but believe you are far removed to communicate with your clients, possible afraid of a legal liability. Simply stated, we need immediate resolution and accurate information to assess this problem.Everybody makes mistakes, but the litany of Intuit problems continue to compound and astoun. Its 1972 all over again.

This is the home of one of the crappiest customer service on the planet. They Promise to refund your money in 10 business days if you do not like the product then they give you the run around and 7 weeks later they are still dragging their feet on how far up there butt their head is and not sure what to tell you to give you your money back. Out sourced customer service from people who barely speak English and a nightmare to deal with.
