We just played their newest room, Jewel of the sea and had a blast! Dani did a great job introducing the room and guiding us on our adventure. The theming in the room was excellent and the puzzles felt like a good challenge. We were able to finish the room in about 40 minutes but felt that the puzzles were enjoyable. I loved this experience and the other rooms that we played before, I highly recommend it!

What a fun experience!! 6 of us went to do the new pirate-themed escape room as a mix of first timer and experienced team members and had such a great time between the very wonderful Danni who helped facilitate the room, and some awesome puzzles none of us had ever experienced before! Were hoping to go again next week!

With my group of 4, including first-time escape room players, we were able to beat the Jewel of the Sea with the help of the enthusiastic, game master, Krista and Jungle Jim! We had a blast thanks to Krista’s immersion and unique puzzles! Definitely will come back to try out the other rooms!

We were immediately wowed with the set design when we entered the Jewel of the Sea. This was an entertaining pirate room! Since this was a brand new room, you could still smell the fresh wood. I loved everything about the production quality! Good lighting, great sound, fun props etc. It was pretty tech heavy and the puzzles blended well with the storyline. Unfortunately there was one puzzle that didn’t work properly for us and our host had to go in and fix it but wasn’t able to. This is definitely a puzzle that will get its wear and tear through time. We were still able to proceed and it didn’t ruin it for us. The hint system was quite charming!! If you’ve done Weeping Witch or Magic Cottage you’ll know! Lindsay was our host and we loved her energy from start to finish. She also surprised us in character! Great room and you shouldn’t pass this up!Btw I did this 2 weeks later and had to bring some first timers and it was just as good and maybe even better. Everything worked perfectly. I did not experience the same issue I did the first time. Miles was my host this time and the character(s) he brought to life were a joy to experience. I noticed some minor changes with their props since the last time and I thought it was a good change. The production quality here is top notch!

This was so much fun! We did the Jewel of the Sea and loved it. It is a great family friendly activity. We did it with an 11-year-old, and he was the perfect age to help out. He had a great time as well.

I love taking my kids (ages 10 and 8) here for a fun and unique experience. Danny has helped us both times and has been great. It’s challenging but very rewarding to succeed at the end as a team and family. My kids absolutely love coming here and we highly recommend it. Book with Danny, She’s the best!

Best escape room Ive done. We did Jewel of the Sea for Fathers Day. Great theming. Engaging puzzles that involved everyone from the kids to grandparents. Nothing cheap like combo locks which Im not a fan of. A bit dark/intense for our 4yo but she was fine with a bit of reassuring. Highly recommend for all and specially for families!

My family loved solving the escape room and finding the Relic! We all had so much fun! Can’t wait to come back and try the Terminal. The room is very clean and new and the lobby is amazing. We’ve been to some places that seem so old and dusty. This place was great! The only problem we had was hearing the clues because the cool sounds overlapped the voice for the clues. Our amazing host, Lindsay?? I believe was her name, said that was fixable and she would turn it up.

This was a really fun experience for the twins and my boyfriend. They have not done an escape room and was excited to participate in one. The atmosphere of the place was nice and so was the worker. She was of great help. Highly recommend when in town.

Went here with my family for a birthday. Great time.We did the Terminal Room and it was a blast. Great design, clever puzzles, and cool props. Everyone got a chance to shine and we managed to pull it off together.Good bonding experience and we spent dinner talking about the parts of it, since we had some some splitting up into smaller teams.Booked to do a different room with the same crew in about a month!

We have done many escape rooms and maybe came in a little cocky. The Stolen Relic was a tough one, but the well-timed clues made all the difference. We finished with under 3 minutes to spare! Had a great time!

This was my familys first escape room. It was a ton of fun, a good challenge, and an amazing memory for us all! Charles was really nice as well and did a great job making even the intro to the room fun for us. I would highly recommend this experience if your family likes a reasonable challenge and a good puzzle. We are all looking forward to trying the other escape room here in the future!

The first time escapee in the group really enjoyed himself! The decor in the room (AND IN THE LOBBY) really takes you to a new world. “The Relic” was family friendly but still challenging enough to get your wheels turning. Overall, we had a great night out with the family! We will definitely be back for more once they introduce new rooms.

I’d like to start out that Miles is a GREAT game master! He was very informative and never broke character throughout our entire game, even when we ask for a hint. Our group of 5 played the Stolen Relic escape room. What a spectacular experience it was.Miles helped create an immersive experience in addition to the scenic elements of the lobby and intro area. I felt the immersion the moment I walked in and even the restroom had me stay within the word, Intrepid. Wonderful branding seriously in more ways than one. The room was small compared to other games Ive done but that did not mean it was not capable of meeting the escape room enthusiast standards. There was a lot to do and many really cool puzzles that Ive never seen before and were still intuitive.I dont want to spoil this experience anymore by giving details, just go!!

I had my baby shower here a week ago and so many of my friends and family have continually commented on how much they loved it! We were able to book the entire facility including a party room and kitchen for a few hours so it was a completely private event. And my guests got to play the escape rooms during the party, which was honestly so much more fun than your typical baby shower games :). The staff were all super accommodating and worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly for us. I highly recommend having a party of any type here! Thanks to Charles, Yanet, and Krista for being a great staff!

We started on Terminal, we managed to complete it, it’s more the beginners room, so we decided to do the second room The Stolen Relic and this was more challenging and definitely a more in depth room! Something for beginners and experts here! The staff are super friendly, good at playing their roles and Jungle Jim the Parrot was an amazing touch! All round a great experience and whether you’re from the states or visiting from overseas this is a must do experience if you’re new to escape rooms or a seasoned pro!

The staff of Family Promise of Orange County had a blast with this fantasy experience. Once in the room, the clues were varied and intriguing while some of the reveals were startling but fun. Our group of seven all had success with some aspect of the discoveries and we escaped with only four minutes remaining. One recommendation, bring some kind of light as the room is necessarily dim.

I can’t say enough great things about Intrepid! We came here with a group of 10 girls for my daughter’s 10th birthday. Every person at Intrepid was extremely helpful in making this day great! They were so patient with all the questions that I had before even booking. When we were there for the party, Krysta was a great party host and Charles did a fantastic job running the Terminal escape room. The kids had so much fun and (with a little help from Charles) were able to successfully escape the Terminal! I liked that they allowed me to be in the room with the kids to help them and didn’t charge me like most of the other places that I was researching. I would 100% suggest anyone who is thinking to have an escape room experience here, definitely do it! All the touches were so thoughtful and the party room after the escape room was a perfect place to do lunch and birthday cake and hang out!

I think it would be great if youre inexperienced but if youve done a few rooms and feel confident in your skill level, this may be a bit too easy for you. Had a great time and recommend this escape room to anyone. The harder one of the two rooms was challenging but not too tough. It was fun to figure out the different puzzles. Any level of escape experience is welcome with these rooms. The room host was fun and got us in immersed into the experience. Overall 10/10 would recommend. Again, the room wasn’t too challenging but very fun. Intermediate to Medium difficulty. Regardless of how difficult the room was, I really appreciate the way the company set everything up. Great experience!

Without a doubt, Intrepid provides the best escape room experience anywhere! Your adventure the begins the moment you set foot in the lobby with the awesome jungle-themed decor. The exuberant staff do an excellent job getting you into the spirit of adventure from the moment they greet you, and Ive never seen another location work so hard to provide such a comprehensive experience.My group completed the Stolen Relic, which offered some challenging (but not too challenging) puzzles and some magical high tech effects that made the experience extra exciting. It really felt like we were living out an Indiana Jones movie. I would highly recommend Intrepid to anyone!

Did The Terminal and really enjoyed the experience. A bit on the easy side if you are experienced with Escape Rooms, but the themeing, flow, and attention to detail is great. If this is your first escape room or you have a crowd that doesn’t have a ton of experience doing them, The Terminal is a perfect room. You’ll find it easy if you have done a decent amount of them, but it was still really enjoyable regardless.

This was an amazing escape room with amazing staff. My son is 8 and we did the terminal with just the two of us. Needless to say, we werent doing the best and they were amazing helping but not too much so it was still so much fun for us both. I definitely recommend this escape room for anyone starting out with one or two or anyone with kids! Lindsay was our GM and we played in The Terminal with 2 people. It was a lot of fun! The puzzles were GREAT. The introductory period leading to the room was immersive and Lindsay was so expressive. Loved the acting. Would def recommend having them as a GM again.We escaped with 13min to spare. Would def recommend again. I think it could def be handled with at least 3 people comfortably.

The last 1/10 of a point is that I definitely needed a team. We liked the Relic Room a lot for its attention to detail but the Terminal was also fun particularly nostalgic having lived in NYC. Had such a great experience here. My roommate and I did the stolen relic. It was super immersive, with challenging puzzles, but not too challenging that we got frustrated. Probably one of our favorite escape rooms so far, and we’ve done about 15. Our game master was Kai, and he was awesome! He was very fun for the immersive experience at the beginning and also took time after we finished to give us other great recommendations of rooms he thought we’d like.

We did the The Stolen Relic room and it was fantastic! Our whole team loved it. The puzzles were not overly complicated and very fun. It’s a linear room which means you will do one puzzle before moving on to the next. We had a group of 6 and still had lots to do and could all contribute! The room itself is stunning with a ton of clever reveals as you solve. I’ve done about 15-20 escape rooms and this had several unique puzzles I haven’t encountered before. Great production value. An excellent room for people who have done a few rooms, though I do think it could be solved by newer players who are really focused and motivated. If you are an Indiana Jones fan, you’ll especially have a blast! Really made me excited for the new room they are building at this location!! Please let us know if you need beta testers ;)

Ive done both of the rooms here. Very high production quality. Staff are dressed in costume and the rooms are very nicely decorated. The puzzles were interactive and well designed. The number of coded locks was minimal.I would say the Terminal is an easy room good for beginners, small groups or young people.The Stolen Relic is a bit more challenging. We did this with a large group and still needed hints. The puzzles were quite fun. No guessing allowed on this one.

Our group did the Stolen Relic room. The sense of adventure started the minute we went though the door to the waiting room which was decorated to inspire. Lindsey was our guide and she was amazing. I have done both rooms with groups of 6-8 - The Relic and Terminal. Have done several escape rooms and the production value is high quality here. The game hosts/employees are enthusiastic and great. The rooms have unique and creative features. They said theyre building a third room in the next few months and they also have mobile escape games. Note the Terminal is easy (but still fun), so if youre experienced and want it more challenging or have a bigger group, try The Relic. I would say both are fairly linear.

We had a great time in the “Escape the Terminal” adventure. Kai, our adventure host was the best. We had a birthday party for my 11-year-old daughter, and four of her friends. This was my first escape room and it was a thrill! Our game master was Lindsay and she stayed in character the whole time, down to when we finally escaped and she came rushing back inside in a panic. I recently visited an escape room with a group of students and had a mixed experience. While the rooms were awesome and the staff was friendly overall, the owner/managers behavior was disappointing. My husband accidentally broke something in a room, but despite our apologies, the owner/manager gave us dirty looks and a less-than-welcoming attitude. This behavior detracted from an otherwise fun experience.That being said, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the students had a great time working together to solve the puzzles and escape the rooms. We did The Stolen Relic which is very family friendly. We highly recommend Intrepid Escape Rooms The props are absolutely stunning, the employees are very nice and it is very fun. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and we loved it! The best part is we escaped with 1:53 remaining.

Weve done around 10 escape rooms prior to the Intrepid Relic room. This was by far one of our favorites. The esthetics were spot on and a lot the puzzles were new and interesting. Highly recommend this place for newbies and those more experienced. Definitely one of the best in Southern California! Our group is already planning on doing their Terminal room next.

We played The Terminal but before I get to the actual adventure itself, I just need to say… wow, that is one of the best escape room lobbies I have ever seen. Our reservation was in the evening and the lobby looked super cool at night even from the parking lot! My first impression was that player immersion is definitely an important element to them. The owner Jonathan and GM Lindsay are truly wonderful and genuine people who enhanced the overall experience. The room itself is very immersive, creative and well-executed. Perfect for beginners but also enjoyable for enthusiasts.

The Stolen Relic room was set up and themed very well. It was also quite challenging but fairly sequential. The only downside is the background music and sound effects were quite loud and made it difficult to hear the clues sometimes, but our game master helped us by repeating the clues if we needed it. Speaking of our game master ... Ren was awesome. She played her character very well and was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall we had an awesome time and experience in the room and highly recommend it!

So good! Can’t recommend this place enough! Very well worth the price and the experience. The establishment has incredible theming, and the staff are so charismatic and friendly. Will for sure come back once a new room is done with construction 😊

Awesome guide, he was very into the story. The room was well designed and on theme. the puzzles were fun and rewarding to solve. Hints were provided if we appear to be stuck with a puzzle. I’d come back again if i have a chance to

Completed the Terminal and had so much fun! I would highly recommend Intrepid Escape Rooms. Kai is was a great Game Master and I am looking forward to my next trip!
