After using a previous financial adviser and attending many “dinners”/sales pitches from other companies, we found IDA to be very different in their approach and in doing so helped us retire early. We have used them for many years now and are very happy with them. They listen to our needs and concerns giving us clear answers to our questions. We also have gotten to know the people at IDA on a personal level, their care and concerns about our relationship gives us a feeling of being part of a family when working with them. They have been very flexible and responsive on how we communicate, whether it be in person, video, phone, or email. We would highly recommend IDA.

Have been with IDA for a couple of years now. First thing that comes to mind is peace of mind. It has been a nice shift to allow the professionals at IDA to take over the day to day management of my retirement portfolio. Thomas was very generous with his time, the discussion was relaxed and very informative. My wife and I appreciate that he took the time to understand our situation and offered insight that was valuable to us but did nothing for his Company in the short term. Ive never been confident going through this life with my financial worries being taken cared of knowledgeably. Alex K. is my contact adviser and I feel he understand and puts my wellbeing first and foremost. He is there to calm my emotions down when I feel nervous about the dwindling economy. I can’t say enough good things about working with Thomas and the IDA team for the past 4 years. He has always gone above and beyond to make sure all my financial questions were answered in a detailed, timely manner. He built an entire financial plan that included a full analysis of my company 401(k) and various employee stock plans. Its one thing to have a mission statement and a concept for how you ultimately run your company and a complete other on how you deliver on them. IDA leadership all the way down to the staff execute at levels that will absolutely exceed the already high expectations they propose and put on themselves. We have worked closely with three firms on our own personal accounts and with our parents at the end of life, the only one of the three that had a very specific approach for what we are all going to have to deal with in life was IDA. Aside from this approach, protocols and procedures and clear understanding of what to do and advise, THEY TRULY CARED and CONTINUE to CARE for us daily.....All advisors are not created equal and when compared to IDA, Jason, Thomas, Alex, and their staff....NOT BY A LONG SHOT! IDA is a great place to have your money managed. They are fiduciaries which means they dont make money by getting commissions on products or services they sell you. It also means they must put your interests above their own, so you know you can trust them. I have dealt with Jason Labrum (their founder) and he is very accessible, but my guy there is Thomas Ohanesian. Thomas has taken the utmost care with me, my goals, and of course my money. He follows up very consistently, but without pushing too hard! He also gently guides me in my finances that he doesnt manage... my day-to-day spending. He provides sound advice, and it is as trustworthy as advice from a trusted friend. For all this care youd think it was expensive. It is NOT! Very reasonable. Still not sure? Ask if Thomas will do a free analysis. Im not sure if he does this for everybody, or all the time... but hey! Go ahead and ask.
