Linzy quickly understood the root issue of not being able to find rental property insurance for a property in a FAIR zone, and that the priority was liability insurance (so fire was a low probability being early Feb). She organized a quote in a couple hours and also got the FAIR application process started. Her calm and purposeful demeanor along with detailing the background and sequencing of why she was offering what, gave me confidence that she understood my situation. This then resulted in a binding policy within hours as I needed a policy that day. Linzy is a true consultative salesperson, and I highly recommend her.Prior to Linzy, I was quite surprised at how difficult it was, and the lack of knowledge amongst the three insurance reps at other firms that I talk to beforehand, on how to go about securing a policy that covered everything except fire, and at the same time start the FAIR process for a rental condo in the SF East Bay.

You guys are great at what you do but to put it bluntly, and I am venting a little but, Mercury Insurance sucks. Our house insurance was paid every month for almost 36 years. With no claims I might add. When we finally paid off our house Mercury cut us loose demanding things that we could not produce.

I’ve worked with Daniel for about 20 years for my home, auto, motorcycle, and umbrella insurance. He and his staff have always provided exceptional service. He has been proactive as well. Several years ago he called me to let me know he found a different carrier that he could bundle all my policies with, which saved me a significant amount of money each year. This year I was faced with my carrier choosing to not renew my home coverage because of the fires here in CA. Daniel worked with multiple carriers and got several denials and a ridiculously high quote before finding a reasonable package for me. It really shows the value of working with an independent insurance agent. I would not have wanted to go through all that myself! I highly recommend IBW for any insurance needs.

This is a very responsive, highly professional insurance brokerage. I have had Mercury home and auto policies with them for the past 20 years, and they have never failed to provide outstanding service and advice. Most recently I contacted senior broker Sharon Wambold because my auto policy did not reflect that I added a new car and removed the older one. Sharon contacted me almost immediately, apologized for the error, and updated the policy. No excuses, no explanations, just action. Daniel and his team were very helpful in helping me decide on earthquake insurance. I had never had it before and got a quote from my current provider. They gave me a quote that was confusing to read and there was only one option. Daniel took the time to ask me my goals, walk me through a process of understanding if I really needed to have earthquake insurance and then explained that their are options available. We have a pool and he made sure that it was covered as well since they are commonly cracked in an earthquake.Beyond the service, Insurance Brokers West goes above and beyond to give back to the community. Having been living in Moorpark since 1974 to 2012, the business still runs like that small town way and get a more personal assistant; unlike the larger cities of clients just being numbers in the computer! When I moved out in my own in 1979 to live in San Fernando Valley, my very first car insurance was indeed Mercury. Back then the agents made houscalls to have a greater personal one on one business transaction. It was truly the same ways of living in Moorpark.
