This review is long overdue. Insulation Labs completed an entire removal of old insulation, clean and rodent proofing of attic, and installation of new insulation back in September of 2023. Additionally, the team installed over 400 sq ft of plywood for storage.From the first meeting with the Project Manager Ozzy to the final clean up of by the team following their work, Insulation Labs did a great job at a great value. Compared to other quotes, Insulation Labs did more work at a reasonable price and I would highly recommend their services.

I never do reviews but Im more than happy to do it for Insulation Labs!They are great! They insulated my non vented flat roof ceiling and I was very happy with the result.Eran is really knowledgeable and he gave me are great deal.He sent a really professional team to work in my house. Giovanni, Pastor, Francisco & company they knew what they were doing since I opened the door. They had the best attitude they are competent,efficient and experience (Really nice people).I will recommend them to anyone who ask me about insulation!

Hi All,I just wanted to pass on my experience with Attic Insulation Labs company. I had my attic insulation replaced by them and it was a great experience. It started with Abraham who came to evaluate the work I needed. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He informed me about all the LADWP and Southern California rebates that were available to me for insulation. He took lots of pictures of my attic crawl space to show me the before condition (pretty bad) and gave me detail explanation of the work required. Then he gave me the options available to remediate the problems and the pricing for each. I then selected the roll bat insulation and we scheduled the work. My installers were installers are Pastor, Mynor, and Erwin. They arrived on the scheduled date and time. They too were great. They setup their work area quickly and got right to work. They too were very knowledgeable and professional. They told me if I had any questions or concerns to let them know and they would be glad to address them. They had to remove old insulation, vacuum the area, repair any air leaks and holes in the outside walls and ceiling then disinfect and install the new insulation (about 1600 SqFt). They took about 8 hours too complete the job then they cleaned up the work area completely. They also took pictures of the completed work so I could see. Afterwards Dianna in the office followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Also she filled out my rebate forms for me and gave me detail instructions for submitting the forms to the utility companies for my rebate. She was very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable throughout the process.I found them to be delightful to work with and I highly recommend them as a company to work with in the future.Thanks,Michael Lightfoot

We had most of our house insulated including walls, crawl space, and attic. The whole process of having someone come out to measure, explain the process in detail, and do all of the work was made easy and hassle free. They were even very helpful with scheduling and coordinating some needed asbestos abatement. I would highly recommend insulation labs for their clear and prompt communication, workmanship, and pricing.

Very Very impressed!! Called them for a quote. Dor came over and thoroughly looked at my 1957 house with nasty 1970’s insulation. I was given a very reasonable quote, so we decided to have it done. On the day, Brandon and his crew showed up at the house, he explained every step of what they were going to do. All the guys were super friendly, clean and cautious of my house. A path was sealed off so no dust was in the rest of the house. When Brandon and his guys left it was like a new attic. They removed all the old insulation, left over debris from 63 years of contractors, sealed every possible leak, rodent proofed and installed new insulation. Really really happy. everything was so clean you would have no idea they were there.Highly recommend.

We saw a posting on nextdoor recommending IL and I decided to give them a call and schedule an appointment. I was curious to see what the additional costs would be besides taking advantage of the LADWP rebate program. We were able to make an appointment within a couple of days. Oliver was prompt and extremely professional, he provided a quote and explained to us that there was an option to pay for cleaning and removal of the existing insulation. However, we did not need to have it done in order for us to take advantage of the LADWP rebate. After researching it, it was much better for us to have the old insulation removed and everything cleaned out before they installed the new installation (Blown fiberglass).The team of 4 were professional, tidy, kept us informed of what they were doing and did a great job. I cant say enough good things about Abraham and his incredible crew. I had many questions and Abraham replied via text or phone to each of them, even on a Sunday night. In spite of delays on the attic insulation and reflective insulation in the garages (2 houses) due to the COVID-19 outbreak, once the job was underway, I was amazed at how thorough, efficient, and meticulous the crew was. They did everything wed agreed upon and more, even going so far as to insulate the attic walls! We noticed the change right away in how the houses were able to maintain cool temperatures on warm days and visa versa. The crew lined the garages with plastic so that not a shred of old insulation hit the floor and swept away everything before leaving, all at an excellent price. I couldnt be happier. Call them--you wont regret it.

We had Nelson and Domingo assist us with our attic cleaning and insulation and we are very impressed with the results! We have two attics and they got the job done quickly in a day and a half. This set up was done in less than 10min! Weve been needing new insulation and noticed insulation labs truck at our neighbors house. I asked how happy were they with the end results, I quickly learned how professional this company was and the difference it made in my neighbors home. So I called, I made an appointment fast, the rep came in and after a few minutes I got a quote. He was not pushy, just straight forward.i did some research and their price was fair for the quality of work they provide. They arrived early on Saturday, 8am and they were done at around 1230-1pm, they was no sign left behind of the area they used, you can see how they blocked the path to keep hazard nasty stuff on the way. Our house definitely feels warmer, LESS dusty, no sneezing!!! And we love the clean feeling new insulation brings to our home! I recommend this company, 5 stars all the way!

Very friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. I just needed the 90 year old blown-in insulation removed from my attic. It had accumulated so much dust and dirt over the years it was terrible. I could not breath in the attic. Eran was so helpful and gave me a great price. His team was fast and efficient. They used a giant truck mounted vacuum. After getting a quote from some companies to clean my attic and put new insulation, my husband and I decided to go with Lab Insulation Company. This is a very trust company, very professional since the first day the specialist came to inspect. One the day of cleaning arrived they we’re very cautious covering the floor and everything. They answered to me all question during the work.Very punctual and after finishing they showed me pictures about what was done.After the cleaning another group came to installed the insulation and also very profesional. My husband’s and I were satisfied with their work, that we decide to Call them to change all the air ducts, and I can say that the guys that came were Pastor and Juan and they are amazing, waooo. We hired Insulation Labs to clean up our attic from rats. They did so much more though. They cleared our attic of old insulation, cleaned and sanitized the entire attic, patched and sealed every opening and gap in the attic, put new insulation in, new ductwork from the rafters, and just in general made our attic Absolutely perfect. From my first meeting with Adam Torres, to the workers Pastor, Juan, Henry, Tony(or Eddie- can’t remember the last guys name), they were professional, on time, informative during the 2 day job. Adam came out and gave an estimate for my attic to be cleaned, sanitized, rodent proofed, new insulation, and radiant barrier to be installed. He was professional and clear to the point. He scheduled me when I wanted it to be done, which was the very next day. The workers came out on time and ready to go to work. They laid out plastic, drop cloths and secured hallway up to the attic space. They were polite and respectful and knew what to do. They used there own equipment and tools, and were pleasant to deal with. Also, the workers completed on time and left no mess. The attic looks amazing and it has been two weeks since, and the house is so much warmer. I would highly suggest going with Insulation Labs!!

A great family business. After I accepted the bid price they scheduled a date to have it wall insulated. A couple of days before I got a call from them and they told me that they had a cancellation and wonder if I would like to have the work done sooner. I told them yes. I was thoroughly impressed with Insulation Labs. They cleaned our attic and added R-38 and a radiant barrier. Their installers were professional and courteous. I was stunned when I climbed into the attic to look around. The radiant barrier looks like gift wrapping at Bloomingdales. They took such care to work around all of the various vents and wires, everything tucked in nicely.You learn about a company when you deal with a problem. In my case, my A/C unit started acting strangely after the insulation went in. When I called insulation labs, they immediately sprung into action, sending an HVAC company to my house that day. They discovered that a wire had been disconnected during the install. Easy fix. But i was impressed by their responsiveness. There was never a doubt that they would make it right.Good price, great work, highly recommended.

I’ve recently had an attic cleaning and insulation replacement done by Attic Insulation Labs. Their service was outstanding but I decided to wait a few weeks and experience the change with the new insulation prior to posting this review. A few weeks after I can comfortably say that not only that their customer service is immaculate but also that their installers did an extremely good and clean job and that the new insulation did wonders on the temperature in my house. They helped me with the paper work for our rebate and have always been helpful during this whole process. My dad has used them before and he was also very happy. Insulation Labs was amazing! I got quotes from a few insulation companies, and they were by far the most professional and instilled trust from the very start. Their pricing was relatively competitive, but its worth paying a little bit extra for their top-notch service. We bought a new old house and our attic was a complete mess (between a lot of decades-old roofing material, two layers of old insulation, and rodent droppings everywhere) and it was important to us to get it cleaned and sanitized before installing new insulation. The Insulation Labs crew of four spent many, many, many hours achieving what we needed and left with 26 giant trash bags of junk. They exceeded our expectations, achieving cleanliness we thought wouldnt be possible, and they didnt stop until it was perfect.

I needed some work done in our attic. Older home that had some rodent issues in the space so wanted to get it cleaned up plus re-do the insulation and get a quote for an attic fan. Sent an inquiry through Yelp to Insulation Labs and they were in contact within an hour and had the appointment for the quote scheduled for 2 days later.I was given a 2 hour window on appointment day and was told that I would get a call 30mins prior to them showing up. The guy was very detailed on his explanation of the process for removing existing insulation, cleaning the rodent droppings, sealing the space to prevent future rodents, and the type of replacement insulation that we would be getting. His quote was very competitive with other companies, but it was the thorough explanation that made me go with Insulation Labs for the attic job.The job was scheduled a week later and the guys that came were very professional. They communicated how the process was coming along and what was being done. They put up a barrier around their work path to help prevent any unwanted materials from entering into the rest of the household. They had all the necessary personal protective equipment as well. It did take the whole day, but taking all things into consideration that was expected. When they were done they cleaned up all their equipment and it was like they were never even here.It’s been a couple of weeks and I can say I’m very happy with the work that Insulation Labs did in the attic. I have noticed a huge difference in the temperature that my house can now maintain and therefore don’t require use of the AC as much. As far as the rodent problem time will tell, but they did explain that a big factor is cleaning up all the droppings etc because these give off scents that tell other rodents that this is a nest. So by cleaning up the space AND sealing any entrances is the proper and guaranteed way to get rid of the rodent problem.TL;DR - I absolutely recommend Insulation Labs for their professionalism, great communication, and competitive pricing.

The work team arrives at 8:25am, works until 7:30pm, such a long day. They are very professional, clean my whole attice, then install new insulation also fix all the holes in my house not only attic, but also basement, to make sure there is no rats come again. These guys are awesome! I was looking to get my attic insulation and air ducts replaced last year and unfortunately Covid happened. Fast forward almost a year later, I decided to reach out to them and see if they were still available. Oliver was very professional and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. They were very thorough with their work. One of my major concerns was the asbestos in our old air ducts, and they were able to assist in safely removing them. The next day, a team of four came and was able to install the insulation and air ducts. They were so mindful of our home, they were masks, they taped everything up and cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job insulating our attic a few years ago. The problem is that they claim to do rodent proofing. I wish they did a better job communicating that they are not a rodent company. Long story short, we have rodents in the attic, that new insulation is ruined with droppings throughout, and we need to get rid of the rodents, do a legit rodent proofing, then get all new insulation. The lesson here is to not hire an insulation company for your rodent problems.

From beginning to end the whole process was amazing. Abraham was respectful, courteous, and thorough going over the details of what services we would need. Setting up the date for the installation was quick, accommodating, and within reason. Chris was great on the day of the installation by making sure our furniture was properly covered and by letting us know each step of the installation as it was complete. I highly recommend this company. Jacky (the estimator) was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive when I had some questions. The crew who showed up to do the work was also on time, professional and highly detailed in their work. We could not believe how carefully they shielded off the rest of the house with plastic to insure no dust/debris could escape from work area. Angel, matched their price to another quote I had received, and was able to accommodate me and sent a crew the following day. The crew lead by Eric and Martin arrived on time, were organized, isolated their work space, were clean, professional did everything they said they would and went above their duty by hanging up from the beams A/C ducts that had been left down, Thanks. At the end Eric asked me if I wanted to see their finished work. Great job guys! Probably the best experience Ive EVER had with a home improvement or home repair company. Estimator was on time, did his thing quickly and professionally, and gave me an estimate. I got the formal quote by email and we formalized a date for the job. Two attics required two crews, so that the job would be completed in one day. They arrived on time, made preparations to insure no harm or mess would come to my home and went to work. As promised, they were finished that day. They even had one crew member under the house for a couple of hours, making sure any animal access from there was sealed off. I knew they were going to seal off the attic, but didnt realize or expect that they would also take this important measure. I was shown the completed work and then everything was cleaned up as though theyd never been here. Also, both crew foreman were extremely polite young gentlemen, who made sure to explain all steps to be taken and answer any questions I had. Couldnt have gone better. Superb!

I got several estimates to insulate my attic and take advantage of a rebate being offered by LADWP. I chose this company because the representative was very professional and the prices were competitive. They are also very knowledgeable about the rebate process. When I chose to hire them to do the job, they got me on their schedule fairly quickly. They said the whole job would be done in just one day. There was a lot of work to be done: clear out the old insulation, clean out the attic, disinfect, fill any gaps to prevent rodents and other animals from entering the space, and blowing in the new insulation. They did indeed finish in one day. The team was very hard-working. It was an extremely hot day to be working in the attic, but they powered through and got it done. Well done!

Had a very smooth attic cleanup and re-insulation project with Insulation Labs. Having dealt with enough shady contractors over the years, I am always skeptical. But these guys earned my trust throughout the process.Oliver came out to do the estimate, was very thorough and answered all my questions. He was very good with email follow up questions as well. Their price was a little higher than the other estimates we received, but also included sealing of all ceiling air leaks (like through light fixtures), more thorough rodent proofing, and an attic fan installation. They also use a large crew so everything gets done in one day. Some other companies said it was a two day job. So we thought it was good value for the money.The work crew consisted of Erwin, Pastor, Mynor, Noe, Jimmy and Moises. Those are some hardworking dudes! Erwin is the nicest, most respectful crew chief you will ever meet. He fully explained the process and kept me updated throughout the day. We have two attic access points, in an interior hallway and in the garage. We assumed they would use both access points, since it would have been easier to get to different spots throughout the attic in our ranch style house. But in order to minimize disruption to us (since we were all home due to COVID-19 work & school shutdowns), they only used the garage access point. Incredibly considerate. They took pictures throughout the process. Our attic was a total mess, and after they finished vacuuming and sanitizing, it looked and smelled fresh enough to eat off the attic floor. They then laid the R-38 insulation throughout. The entire attic is now clean and coated wall-to-wall with thick insulation. I am very happy with their work.I would recommend getting a few estimates from reputable insulation companies, but I think you will be impressed with Insulation Labs even if they arent the cheapest. When it comes to home projects, you usually do get what you pay for.

We have been suffering from the poor insulation and rodent invasion for quite some time. Then I have found the company Insulation Labs on the internet and decided to give it a try. First of all, Adam came to do the FREE estimate and explained the issues we had with photos. He also told me the estimate is really a fixed figure meaning if there is an extra problem or item they need to replace, they will replace it without additional charge. Then Angel called us on the same day to schedule the appointment. We finally had our big day (insulation and rodent proofing) yesterday after a month since estimate. They sent a group of 3 with Miguel, Domingo L, and Edwin. So professional and efficient and clean for these types of jobs. Not only did they remove the old insulation, they sealed all my gaps around my ceiling lights, rodent proofed my attic and crawlspace under my home. These guys are great. They quoted me a price and stuck with that price. They showed up right on time, came into my home and prepped everything very professionally. They sealed off the hall ways and made sure there were no leaks in the area and began right away to remove the old insulation. After the insulation as removed they sanitized the entire attic and sealed off any leaks and potential rodent and critter openings. They then laid the new insulation down and where completed with 6-7 hours. These guys were very professional, they didnt mess around they got right down to work, the took all the trash with them and cleaned up behind them. The y even installed a brand new attic fan for the hot days/. I would highly recommend this company we can already tell a great difference in our electric and gas bills. I did extensive (probably too much) research on attic clean-up companies and narrowed it down to 3 top companies. All 3 were super professional with their home evaluation and quote. That said, we chose to go with Insulation Labs because they were very responsive in their communication, professional, and came highly recommended by a neighbor on Nextdoor. What was particularly noteworthy compared to estimates I got from other companies is that Dor asked me how long I would be staying at my house as he was able to provide options given my anticipated tenure and related investment cost which I appreciated very much. I probably spent 20 minutes on the phone asking questions and receiving an explanation so full it seemed that the rep was explaining the process for the very first time. The job was scheduled quickly and completed in half the time they expected without any sign (other than the attic) that they had been there. Jorge came out to do the estimates and actually stayed engaged til the very end, coming out several times at our request to inspect and review collateral damage.The team that cleaned the attic and put down the insulation was run by John, who was also professsional. They were careful in their prep and because we have older plaster ceilings, there was cracking which they remediated quickly. I received a call from Angel the very same time the cleaning/insulation time left, and a call the very next day from the repair guys to schedule the ceiling repair. They also took great care in their prep and cleanup.We had to have our roof replaced last year and they left a mess. It’s a huge relief to have all of that properly cleaned and finally some insulation put in.If there is anything I would have done differently, it would have been to ask that the vacuum be placed in a different spot than where it was, since the bag does leak quite a bit of dust. However, John was out there cleaning up in the outside area after they were done.We weren’t sure if all the 5 star Google and Yelp reviews were real, but my husband and I were really impressed by this company, and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Great team. They did exactly what they said they would do from start to finish. I couldnt be happier with how my attic is now. Clean, insulated and secure from rodents. They created a plastic tunnel from the from door to the attic with a hepa-filter to make sure that none of the dust or debris got into the rest of the house. They removed the old, nasty insulation which was probably from 1952,, sterilized and sealed the entire attic and then installed the new insulation in one day. They completely cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. These guys work extremely hard and were very nice. I would recommend them to everyone who needs new insulation. These guys are fantastic. They came in professional and work diligently all day cleaning our attic, desanitizing, vacuuming, rodent proofing, and laying down the insulation. We use the heater in the morning for 15 minutes to get the chill out and turn it off after we feel its gets to warm. Afterwards, our house is at a constant 71 degrees all day at this time of year now. The attic was organized much better than before with all the cables and wires set in place. I had Abraham meeting with me for the initial inspection. He spent about 20-40 minutes in my attic measuring and making sure to take a picture of every inch of the attic to make sure nothing is missed.His level of expertise and respect for his work surpassed all of his competitors. Preparation for the attic work started with sealing off of the unaffected area with plastic sheets. Unfortunately, my experience was not entirely positive. The specialist who initially inspected my property and provided quotes, said that the recessed lighting would be tightened up and a tight seal ensured. This was not done.The bigger problem, however, was the team that did the work and communication with them. The foreman didnt know what was going on and couldnt explain to me the work that had been done. He would ask his team for answers to my question and get one or two word responses. I left with very little information and an uneasy feeling. The rodent proofing was also a bit of a joke with steel mesh poorly installed in one location (as far as I or the foreman could tell), though this was a bonus so I suppose I cant complain too much about that.On a positive note, they did leave the place clean and the process was well contained (they sealed off the area, etc).I was planning to return to Insulation Labs for roofing but will likely look elsewhere.

Weve had a terrific experience with Attic Insulation Labs. Initially Yahav, their technician, came out for a free attic inspection, he found some asbestos and guided us through the process of having it removed. He gave us a couple of referrals for asbestos abatement contractors, we ended up working with one of them and he did a thorough and affordable asbestos removal for us. Once the asbestos was out of the way, the Attic Insulation Labs guys came back to do their part of the work. Yovani and his crew thoroughly cleaned the attic leaving nothing but bare floor, none of the old insulation or any rodent dropping was left behind. They sprayed a bleach based sanitizer and sealed access points to block new rodents from coming in. They installed new pink fiberglass insulation blankets to cover the entire attic floor. The job was done within a single day, they were very customer service oriented, respectful, professional and kept my house clean throughout the process. Attic Insulation Labs is AMAZING! I came across them online while looking for a pest control company. I saw that not only did they do attic insulation, but they also took care of rat proofing. I had my attic cleaning and insulation installation done by Moses from Attic Insulation by LABS. Though I dont understand much in home insulation, in my work I deal with clients on a daily base and I do understand a lot in customer service. Moses had given me a top notch customer service that Im not used to receiving from contractors. We hired Attic Insulation Labs after experiencing problems with other attic cleaning services, and we couldn’t be happier that we did! After calling them up about our attic insulation replacement, they offered for one of their technicians to come over and conduct a free inspection. The technician arrived on time and we found him to be very knowledgable and professional. He inspected our attic and made some assessments while scoping it out. Afterwards, he showed us some pictures of the issues he had found in our attic, giving us an idea of how Attic Insulation Labs would be able to resolve them.The technician was very patient with us and he explained the issues to us… we’re not experts on attic insulation so he made sure he explained everything in terms we could understand! He went through the different types of insulation with us, telling us what they all did, and he also clarified what different R-values meant, as well as the R-value we should be aiming for in we wanted an energy efficient home. Overall we had an excellent experience with Attic Insulation Labs, who quickly came back and followed up on their proposal by performing a full-scale attic insulation replacement job for us at a very reasonable price!

Was excited to work with them to install cellulose into a 1910 home for sound abatement and thermal insulation. i asked for cellulose specifically since wall assemblies built with it have a higher STC rating and cellulose has better properties to absorb water and dry if it gets wet. unfortunately they installed the wrong product and then tried to condescendingly convince me otherwise (even though their own website backs up what i was saying). the most they could offer was a 20% reduction even though the mistake they made on my house is irreversible. i’m not happy with how things went and their resolution.

I had recently replaced my entire HVAC system. While the contractor was up in the attic replacing ducting, he suggested I have the attic cleaned and insulation replaced as there was evidence of mice from a previous infestation.After one attic insulation company failed to make their estimate appointment on time and another missed it completely, I reached out to LABS. They were very professional, were at my house on time for the estimate and didnt waste my time trying to upsell me on services I didnt need or ask for. All I needed was insulation removal, attic cleaning and new insulation and they were quick about getting me pricing and setting up an appointment for the work.When they showed up to do the job, they were very careful and clean. They covered all my belongings and were in and out in one day without leaving any evidence that they had even been there at all.A fantastic job overall, its too bad I wont be requiring their services again any time soon.

We were very impressed with our entire experience with Insulation Labs. Jacky, our salesperson was professional, informative and courteous, answering all of our questions. There was no hard sell, which we really appreciated as a couple other companies wed called for a quote were pushy and rude. Not so with Insulation Labs. The team, led by Giovanni, arrived right on time, complete with attention to Covid safety precautions. Giovanni was really communicative during every step of the way, making sure we were informed with the processes as they were happening. They are even supplying us with photos of the whole process to be able to get our rebate from DWP. When the team was done, everything was left absolutely spotless. Replacing the attic insulation was the last thIng I would’ve thought of doing in my house ever. It’s not visible and doesn’t anything to the looks of the house for me to care. However, I’ve had such a nasty rodent infestation in my attic that, soon after the rodent control guy was done with his job, I had to place the contaminated insulation as soon as possible. Insulating LABS were my company of choice since their representative Guy was the most knowledgeable and seemed the most reliable of all the companies I received a quote from. We have an old traditional home that had no insulation. We were tired of having hot nights and cold evenings and decided it is time for a change.We got 3 estimates and they all had different prices. I learned a lot and appreciated the visit from the Attic Insulation manager, Oliver Porat. He answered all my questions, gave recommendations and a fair price.And I am soooo pleased that I chose Ins. Labs. They vacuumed my old attic, sealed all the openings and put in nice batting insulation. I recently purchased a home that had major insulation, ducting and rat issues. Hi, my name is brett. And I am very happy with my choice using these guys. They did the attic inspection as said. They were very honest about all of it. They explained a few things to me. They answered all my questions and I was very satisfied with what they told me. They also went over the entire process as it would happen from beginning to end. They explained it all perfectly and made sure I understood everything. When it was time to start the job, the crew showed up right on time and ready to work. These guys were great. They were friendly, worked hard, and kept me informed of everything going on from start to finish. They were very professional, did quality work and left the place clean and tidy when finished. I also had them check heater ducts in the attic space and put in new filters where needed. I also had them replace my two thermostats with ones made by nest. My only complaint to them was about a ceiling fan not working and had been prior to them working there. They apologized when I called and told them about it. Then they also assured me that somebody would be out the very next day to take care of it for me. I was happy with that. And BAM! When the next day came....so did their man! The electrician was right on time! He was a really cool guy too. He climbed right up into my attic space and had the fan fixed quicker than you can make toast. Job well done. The rep. came out to give me an estimate to pump in insulation into my walls but convinced me to address the attic insulation first. Their service included preparing my home with a plastic channel to the attic, so that the house, floors included, would not get dusty from the work, removing the old insulation (lots of it!), vacuuming, disinfecting, sealing, radiant barrier and pump in new fiberglass insulation into the attic. We also had them drill holes into the exterior wall of the hottest side of the house and pump in insulation. The crew was on time and VERY efficient. Everything that was removed from my attic was hauled away. I took a peek in there before they pumped in the new insulation and it looked clean! The house is SUBSTANTIALLY cooler now. Honestly, it was expensive but money well spent!

We had a problem with poor insulation and critter infestation in our home in Los Angeles. We were referred to Attic Insulation Labs who showed up the next day to evaluate the problems and propose a plan to fix them. They came with a professional crew two days later and completed the whole job in one day - removed old insulation, blocked several possible animal entry points, blocked possible air leaks, sanitised, and replaced with new higher rated insulation. Replacing my old 1940’s house insulation was way overdue. I live in Sherman oaks where it can get up to 105F in the summer low 50’s in the winter. After reviewing a few companies for the job I selected Attic Insularion by LABS. We are so happy with our insulation! We did rollout insulation in the attic and blown in on our exterior walls. After gathering several quotes we went with Insulation Labs. Their quote was in the middle, but they were the only company that patched the holes. Others were just going to leave us with the styrofoam plugs.They arrived on time, got the job completed in a single day and were easy to work with.It is in the 90s today and the inside of our home is low 70s. The AC hasnt kicked on nearly as much as it used to. We are through with waking up freezing in the morning and sweating by midday.

Me and my brother recently purchased a rental property, little 2 bedroom house in woodland hills, and we had a serious rat infestation. About 6 months ago I received a few quotes from reputable insulation companies to have my attic cleanup, rodent proofing and blanket insulation installed. Due to budgeting issues I had to hold off with this project but was definitely going to get it done sooner or later. When I was finally ready financialy I called my top three companies to ask if they will honor their quote that was given to me only 6 moths before. Out of the three, two companies sent a technician back to my house to re-estimate the project and both came up with much higher numbers the second time around. Wow. These guys are great! My wife and I had been having climate control issues in our home for months - where it barely get cold in the summer despite us having gotten our A/C checked by TWO technicians. Did a bit of Googling and it looked as though we might have an attic insulation issue. Ended up working with Moses (who is really great) and he came over for the free inspection. Thats when he showed us the real problem - we apparently had a rodent infestation! Significant change noticed in our indoor ambient temperature, stays at about 70-71°F whether it is 80 degrees outside or 58 degrees outside. More cost effective for us than purchasing solar since we are a small household. Cracks were well sealed,used to smell kitchen smells in my bedroom which was so annoying since we have an industrial type hood, but not anymore. Smells were seeping through recessed light crevices. Im writing this long review because Im a strong believer in tipping good when the service is great, I think that positive reinforcement to a job well done leads customer service providers to work even harder in order to satisfy their clients.Having said that, Id like to give a shout out to Attic Insulation by LABS! Everything from our initial inspection meeting with their technician / foreman Aaron, and all the way to the completion of our project was done right and with us, the clients, in mind.The first meeting went really well, Aaron spent a fair amount of time listening to our needs, inspecting the attic, crawling under the house, taking photos and videos, discussing the problems we have and potential solutions and recommending the best way to solve all in a cost efficient way.Though I felt like Aaron did an excellent job explaining and he did answer all our questions in the best and most informative way, his price came a tiny bit higher than the other quote we got. Being the thinker I am I requested a written quote and some time to think about it, Aaron did not hesitate and promised he will send an email with a detailed quote within 24 hours. He sent it within 4-5 hour, right before the end of the day, along with additional information about types of insulation and a rebate we can get if we do certain things.The day after I received a follow up call from their office, the lady on the other side of the line didnt ask a word about why we didnt buy the service and wasnt trying to solicit it, her only questions were about the quality of their service and she wanted to know if they couldve done anything else to have earned my business. Two days passed and I received a follow up email from Aaron, nothing pushy just to asking if we have made our minds yet and stating that he will work very hard on making sure that we get an extremely professional work using great materials if we give him our business.After reviewing all the estimates we got and the different contractors who came to our house, my husband and I decided that, even though their price was a bit higher than others, we feel very confident in trusting our project with Aaron.We emailed him back our reply and requested another meeting to sign a contract. He came to our house the day after and was as generous with his time and as informative as he was on our first meeting.The day of the job Aaron and his crew came right on time. The first thing they did was to cover our floors, install dust isolation barriers and hermetically seal their work area to prevent dust and contamination from getting into our house. After the first stage of removing the old insulation, cleaning our attic and blocking all penetrations to prevent rodents from coming back in, Aaron asked my husband to inspect the attic before installing the new insulation. My husband was so amazed by their good work that he made me climb up there and see in my own eyes. It was immaculately clean and I could see all the areas where we have had holes before are now covered with metal nets secured to the frame with heavy duty screws. We gave him the go ahead to move forward with the insulation installation. Though we paid for the standard R-30 insulation, Aaron and his workers brought in huge bundles of R-38 fiberglass insulation. He said that they have a lot of it in their storage and they simply decided to upgrade us for free. After cutting and fitting the insulation neatly between our frames Aaron called us again for a final walkthrough. Once again everything was done immaculately and left us highly impressed.After receiving such a good and professional service I feel encouraged and obligated to recommend others in need of insulation replacement, attic cleaning or rodent control to call them. Giving our business to Aaron and his company was worth every penny we paid. If we had to we wouldve done it again, with them and only with them, in a heartbeat.

Guy, the foreman, came over to our house the other day. After asking us some questions to understand our needs better, he climbed up our attic, spent a fair amount of time reviewing the issues we discussed (we could hear him through the ceiling, he was crawling deep in there), took photos and came back down to discuss his suggestions and provide solutions to the problems weve been expriencing with rodents and poor insulation. After some thinking and weighing out our options we decided to go with Guy and Attic Insulation by LABS. They scheduled us for the week later, called the day before to confirm, came right on time, did an impressively thorough job, and left the house immaculately clean even though replacing insulation and cleaning the attic looked to us like its going to be a big giant mess. I saw their ad on facebook last 7/31/20 then I let them know I’m interested in the insulation of my attic. They made a proposal 8/6/20 and sent on my email, contacted me and schedule a visit to check my attic, was approved. Then, insulation was done 8/16/20. It was easy, I didn’t pay anything because of Ladwp rebate, and very efficient. Now I don’t have to frequently change my thermostat temp like before, its now steady to 76 and feels cool inside the house.

Following clearing a rodent issue from my attic and crawl space I was told by the extermination that my air ducts were torn by the rodents in many places, there is rodent droppings everywhere on my attic, that it smells like urine, and that its unsafe due to bacteria they carry. After consulting with several insulation companies I decided that the best approach will be to replace the attic insulation and air ducts entirely and block all the locations where new rodents can enter back into my attic and crawl space. My house in Sherman Oaks is only 12 years old, however the contractor used cheap roofing material that is already warn off. While dealing with bad rainwater leaks from our roof I also found out that my insulation became moldy and got completely ruined. I was looking for someone who does a thorough attic cleaning and is willing to install a specific brand called Owens Corning. I found attic insulation by LABS through Yelp. They are certified Owens Corning installer and their bid came mid range cost. Jacky gave a professional presentation with charts pictures and stats. At first this company seems reasonable in pricing and caring when it comes to the workmanship and customer service. They agreed to offer me a payment plan. They even had the owner of this company call me to confirm. During this time, keep in mind I just bought a new home and was under much pressure to move in and have things in order for my kids and wife to move in with new insulation etc. After I missed a call or two from there billing department, the calls and text and emails began with threats to me and my BRAND NEW HOME. A girl in customer service began to make remarks making me feel like a crook. I explained the situation and asked for a lil time to get back to them. Next thing I know they serve me with a LIEN by POST MAIL. After I sent in the first payment via check which they were holding and stating they will not deposit the check because now they want the full $6k plus in one payment. I asked to speak to the owner to resolve this issue and get back on the 6 month monthly program the OWNER offered and agreed with me. But now they had a different AGENDA and that was to collect there money by any means necessary. I understand they have an invoice that needs to be paid. But why offer help and monthly payments to help your clients and then you have a change of heart and they began to harass me with text messages emails and calls. After I asked to please stop and cash the check and put me on monthly plan. They simply said NO NO NO no more and we want our money. Talk about BULLIES AND LIARS AND POOR PROFESSIONALISM ALL THE WAY FROM THE RECEPTIONIST TO THE OWNER. THEY DONT CARE THEY LIE ABOUT OFFERING MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN THEN THEY GET YOU BY STATING NO WE DIDNT AND PAY THEM ASAP OR ELSE. COMMUNICATION IS HORRIBLE HERE. BEWARE! DONT TRY TO SAY I AM NOT IN THE SYSTEM EITHER.

When we received the estimate for insulation into our outside walls, I was told that after the insulation was blown in, each hole would be plugged. I was also notified that wed have to hire a plasterer to seal the holes. When the work was finished we discovered that the holes were covered with tape, which fell off. My husband had to go around and seal each hole himself with a heavy tape until the plasterer was able to come and seal the holes. The plasterer noted when he arrived that the holes were much larger than usual, which did not please us.
