Weve worked with Matt at Inspired Landscapes twice now and both experiences have been outstanding. Our previous house in Sebastopol needed a front yard reboot, and we wanted like a wild English garden meets Sonoma situation and man, they really delivered. With only a few pictures from books and the internet they put together a fantastic looking plan and pulled off an amazing transformation of our front yard. Before it was a a scrubby, somewhat sad little patch of weeds, and within a few days (and then several months of growing in), the whole place was transformed. They did French drains and gopher cages and laid a ton of flagstone which looked gorgeous. Really fast, friendly and professional crew. We could not be happier with the results. And honestly when we sold the place I think the yard is what did it -- and the landscape probably paid for itself twice over.So for our new house in the San Diego area we knew we wanted their help again, and our experience was similarly great. This time we just needed the plans drawn up, but since were in a more desert-like area we went for something equally wild, but more suited for the environment. They drew up the plans for low water yet very vibrant plants and succulents that bloom throughout the year. The garden is going in now and we couldnt be happier with how things are looking. All around great experience with these guys.

Matt Ripley from inspired Landscapes was a delight to work with. We met to go over a backyard project and after a few rounds on plants and placements, we arrived at a comprehensive plan. His crew showed up on time every morning and got the job done in a little over a week. They were professional and precise executing exactly to the measurements in the plan. My backyard has been transformed. I would definitely hire them again for a future project. Matt knows his stuff. He answered endless questions and exhibited the patience of a saint. Im Grateful!!

Matt and Inspired Landscapes worked with us to create a reworked rear yard design solution. Matt met with us a few times as we shared our design and planting ideas as well as our thoughts on how it would need to respond to various drivers - grandkids, dogs, water wise and supportive of pollinators and other fun critters around us.Matt listened and was able to take our various (and changing) ideas & ‘touchstones’ and respond with a well considered design that fit us and the space beautifully.Further, Inspired was prompt and started and completed the work on time. The crew was great - punctual, great communication and kept the site tidy.We’ve used Matt before on a front entry relandscape and would use Inspired Landscape again.

Matt has expertly designed and managed two projects for us. Most recently, he created a beautiful, drought-proof, low maintenance landscape for our home in Healdsburg. From project inception to completion Matt and his team were a pleasure to work with; always demonstrating their expertise, creativity and customer focus. From beginning to end my experience with Matt and Inspired Landscapes was great. He is knowledgable, made a detailed bid and scope of work that was appropriately prices. Most importantly he listened, was willing to make changes without complaints and delivered on time. Its rare to find such great customer service these days, and Matt and his team did a great job.

Matt and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and very quick to respond. I love hummingbirds and wanted a new tree out front to attract them. When I mentioned that to Matt he knew exactly what tree to put in the front. I cant wait for the tree to bloom to see all of the hummingbirds. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping and/or maintenance. I look forward to continuing to work with them and do more projects in the future.

Loved working with Inspired Landscapes! Was worried about my garden design as I had to design under tight constraints (immediate planting, historically accurate, etc) & it was so wonderful to be able to get all my answers in one place. Matt has an incredible knowledge of plants & saved me so much hassle in researching. He suggested 3 bushes that may be historically accurate and met our constraints (good for security, beautiful, and fast growing). 2 of them ended up being in our approved list! Cannot stress how great it is to work with experts - and that’s what Inspired Landscapes is!
