The front staff, Tiana specifically was extremely rude, really unprofessional and really sat there Texting and using Phone and laugh at people like if they are better than others .They need to reTrain them, they need to check their cameras to see how they treat people when management is not around . Extremely disrespectful, I had a friend that comes here complain about her bad Attitude and Demeanor too .I called to speak to management and they refused to call them over .She was feeling really entitled for whatever reason . I m suprised they hire trashy attitude ppl like this, Plz dont hire staff like this, I will cancel my membership and tell friends to do same . As this is Awful and Foul presentation of company .

My family and I have been In-Shape members for 11 years. I love it here. The cherry on top are the sauna and steam room. I love going there after a workout. It feels like a mini Korean spa break.

Gym is awesome, even while under construction! There is so much room you dont even see anyone despite how many cars are in the parking lot.Just know they are big on scheduling what you want to do online. As example I swim, and should schedule my lane or if someone did, they have the right to kick me out of the lane.But really thats not a big deal compared to everything else.

Its good gym nice staff good towel service cleaner then 24 hour for sure they just need to open later on week days an weekends an they would be able to knock out the 24 hour competition bc for be clean they got this i appreciate a clean gym to walk into an they have better lay out then 24hour they just need work on later hours an leave the gym price same they would have alot more ppl come here then 24 hour but then keep up on good cleaning we appreciate it!!

I can only use heated pool, per doctor. Wish heated pool was heated better. Winter, more heat, especially when I arrive at opening hours when cold inside and outside building. This last summer best temps ever gad all years memer. Fall/winter need to get better. I look forward to my time I can attend and pisses me off when too cold for feet let alone body and cant participate. Tell kids it cold, they dont care, so probably dont pass on. Otherwise, got better on everything this last year. Thanks!

Been a member for a little over two years now. Never had an issue. Kids club is great and feel 100% comfortable when my daughter is there while I am working out. I went consistently before, during, and after the outdoor gym. I love the effort put into the outdoor gym, and the consistent improvement of the gym.

A total rip off. The equipment is outdated, the facilities are run down, and when something breaks they either take forever to replace the equipment or they haul it away. The gym etiquette is deplorable. You have a few that are hogging the equipment doing supersets in 3 different rooms. When you try to go on the equipment, occasionally you encounter people rudely scream at you they are still on it. A few times you have guys leaving their stuff on a bench press saying they are using it, but then chat with their friends for hours, never touching the bench press, but not allowing anyone else to use it. The general manager I spoke with also would not reinforce gym etiquette rules. I canceled my membership recently only to be told I have to wait 30 days, and BTW theyre still charging me for an annual fee even though I already canceled. I paid the my membership fee upfront so my membership would be minimal. The monthly fee went from $20/month to $26 and now $40. Honestly, if youre at this facility, you cant even use the one in Concord. Useless and a total ripoff. Dont bother using this place, go elsewhere.

I have been a member since day one but the staff is wonderful the manager is so helpful. There is one flaw on the points for prizes. . Prizes r limited and what u want is hardly ever there. U can’t order what u want so that is disappointing and frustrating. U never know when supply’s come in and r gone when asked so that’s needs to b changed.

Great classes! This club has so much to do. The thing I do not like is they have too many youngsters working here they need to keep up on cleaning the pool and restrooms changing rooms especially things are constantly wet and people are slipping always. I will tell you there is a huge difference in the respectful and mature morning, and afternoon pool/gym crowd, compared to the evening and night groups.

I have been going to inshape for about 5 years. I absolutely love the Antioch location and my only complaint is that, because of the Pittsburg closure, there are way too many people now. But other than that, I really enjoy the group classes and machines. There are also many areas to lift free weights or use weighted equipment. There is an outdoor and indoor pool and one indoor hot tub. There is a sauna in the pool area as well. Depending on the time of day it will be hard to find an area with free weights or weighted equipment because there are too many people. The staff has never been my favorite, whether it be this or the Brentwood location. Ive never had a problem with them but sometimes it is evident to see that they are not happy and Sometimes they are uncaring. Part of being in customer service is giving...you know, customer service.They have also recently made some renovations which I dont mind but I know the indoor track was a big seller for some people. In fact, yesterday while working out in that room, people were walking the perimeter of the room which has now become inconvenient for people using the new area to stretch or lift weights. I personally dont think they should have gotten rid of it. They have also taken out the racquetball courts and made them into workout areas

I have been a member for only a few months, since February. The gym is really nice, always see staff cleaning throughout. The kidzone teachers are amazing and so sweet. The shapes zone upstairs could use some more weights and equipment and could be larger. Also have used the trainer program for a few months and loved my experience with Sharlyn. Please go back to packages vs a monthly plan. I would purchase more bundles, but will not be using the monthly payment. The gym has gotten much busier since Pittsburg closed, and the equipment is usually being used which is a little frustrating at times. Other than that, have loved my experience with the staff and gym

I have my things stolen with all my things in there, i was just in the sauna and 15 min later they were gone i asked the staff for help and to check the cameras and they said that they cant do nothing bc only the manager can do it and the manager doesn’t even come right away and say until tmr and how was i supposed to go home? This gym aint cheapfor things to happen they even told us it already happened before but it seems they havent solved that problem they better solve this problem soon im very mad and upset, if u come to this gym keep on eyes on your things its not secure at all smh

PROS: Wide variety of equipment, pool, sauna, steam room, generous sized locker rooms, adequate showers and separate womens workout area.CONS: The management needs to REALLY monitor the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub. There needs to be better monitoring of children in the pool area by staff and it needs to be done consistently. Children under the age of 16 are NOT permitted in the hot tub! And the signage is clearly posted. Also, without notifying or consulting with ALL paid members, management decided to ELIMINATE the racquet ball courts at the Lonetree Way location in Antioch.

I am a member and reconsidering paying another month. The pool is dirty by Wednesday morning, I believe they clean it once a week on Sunday nights BUT THEY have aqua classes everyday??? ATLEAST 3XS A WEEK PLEASE.The steam room is disgusting, at best; when do they clean it? They should clean it once a day AND AT NIGHT ... People come in there with street shoes, workout clothes and theres hair every where sometimes!Womens dressing rooms are clean, showers are sometimes marked unavailable.Some treadmills I have found not wiped down from previous members or bikes.Front office staff are nice, helpful and maintain a clean appearance.

New member, live around the corner figured it would be nice to get back into shape before the wedding. Since the pittsburg location closed its nearly impossible to get any free weight work in or really complete your workout in a timely manor. If you walk in there from 7am to 9pm you see nothing but crowds fighting for their spot on a free weight bench or for a slice of the mirror. Just ridiculous getting ready to cancel and build my own home gym.

I went to In Shape fitness to get their rates and see the gym itself. First of all, rude receptionist made me to fill out some paper where she got my info. She stated that without that paper nobody can even talk with me about the rates or give me a flyer. Afterwords she told me to sit and wait for someone who could come and help me with it. So I waited for ten minutes while literally was empty, no other people around. In that ten minutes I had one of the employee standing next to me and watching soccer without even acknowledging that I am there siting and waiting to be helped. Second girl (Marisol) was sitting in the office doing nothing on her cell phone and showing some signs to receptionist. Well, anyway, after this pleasant 10minutes wait I stood up and left. Before I left I asked receptionist to shred my info, but she did not even managed doing this much. So I received a phone call from Marisol, the same busy girl who cant even think of ways to kill the time about promotions going on and inviting me back. Didnt I asked to shred my info? The manager of this sport club needs to do some work in order to keep the level and employee work ethics high. Whatever their excuse is to be so unprofessional, they need to change that sticky attitude if they want business coming in. And I wish they really would never contact me again.

This gym has come along way since it opened. Gone are the days when your car would get vandalized while you worked out. Also gone are the crowds of people hanging around not working out and just causing trouble. The only reason Im not giving this place 5 stars is because they still have a small machine maintenance issue and there equipment is getting pretty old. Im not saying by any means there equipment is run down, only that they are in need of a modern makeover.I was told recently by the manager this location will probably be getting all new machines and some other club level essentials like garment spinners so well wait and see if that actually happens. If this really comes to pass Ill redo the rating to 5 stars.Absolutely come down and join up again if the only reason you havent is the word of mouth about the vandalism and the other issues I mentioned because like I said those days are gone.

I love the way the gym is setup and i love love love the fact that there are two pools. The only thing is that the pool isnt warm in the early morning. The pool is warm later on but definetly not at 4 in the morning when i get there. But otherwise the place is clean and the staff is friendly.

This is my experience as a first-timer at this specific gym. The gym itself is very spacious and provides all the amenities one would need for their workout goals - free weights, weight machines, treadmills and bikes, outdoor/indoor pool with hot tubs, sauna and steam room, circuit and ab station and a separate workout section for women. The indoor pool looked a bit dingy, but I dont care for indoor pools to begin with. My main feature I was looking for was a sauna in a gym. This one is co-ed, and quite small for how huge the gym is. I dont appreciate how the salesperson or trainer, Nina, was trying to push me to sign up for a membership the first day. She couldnt keep a dialogue going and I basically answered all my own questions. The only thing she seemed to be concerned with was getting me to sign up. The poor girl couldnt even explain the difference in the levels of membership or what the difference between a gold club or a platinum club was. Thanks, Nina. So much information letting me know a platinum club offers more. More what? 🤷🏾‍♀️. Im on day 3 of my pass, and receive another call from Nina asking if shed like me to go over the membership details so I can sign up. I tell her I understand my pass is valid until for another 4 days and I will go over the prices at home. She insists that I make an appointment with her in a few days and upon my decline, she rudely says ok and hangs up on me. Your staff sucks, InShape.

I am a year around swimmer. Thats the sole reason for my membership here. Their pool this time of year is gross and it just gets worse as the temps heat up.Today when I was there the indoor pool is cloudy and full of debris for the 5th day in a row (maybe longer but thats my tally). When I brought it to the attention of the desk staff he simply said well they put chlorine in it every night. Yeah dude, that doesnt handle the cloudiness (use clairifier!) Or toilet paper or bandaids or wax earplugs or hair that is floating about. They have been known in the past to put so much chlorine in it turns your skin white when it drys, I have tattoos and you cant see them when I get out of the pool, so no dumping a ton of chlorine in doesnt help if its that excessive and if thats the only treatment you are doing.If your an actual swimmer that swims for fitness (not the people who tread water back and forth in the lanes or the obnoxious people who take up a lane just to float back and forth) go early or late if you are willing to deal with the cesspoolish nature of this place. Also, dont expect staff to regulate keeping kids and ill behaved adults out of the lap lanes, they cant be bothered.I keep hoping that things will get better (for 3 years now) and keep giving it chances by going back, I live right around the block and it sucks having to go miles away for a pool when this place has the ability to do better. Step it up In Shape!!

Joined last month. Specifically talked to the employee showing me around about wanting to use the walking track. It was the main reason I joined. Due to illness, wasnt able to make my first real visit until today. Was told they removed the walking track about a month ago. No one knew this was happening? I feel very deceived. Ill be canceling.

So I went in to ask about swimming lesson for my toddler, and found out the lessons are run by a women who just uses their facility to give the lessons. I asked about the Gym and their prices, i decided to try it and ask the rep for a month trial and if i liked it then i would keep paying. The first month i did not go, my grandfather had a stroke and medicines were costing about $250 for 30 pills. So i called Inshape corp to cancel, and great surprise, i was told i could not cancel since i had just sign a 3 YEAR CONTRACT. Thats right a 3 year contract, when i had clearly told the rep i wanted to try it out one month. On top of my surprise the women from corp. was very rude. She said the only way they could consider cancellation was 1. Medical issue 2. financial issues 3. moving out of state or country and proving it with a lease agreement or bill. Luckily i was able to cancel, but i had to pay $100 fee and 79.99 of the monthly charge for the month i did not even go. All in all they are horrible rude people, with bad customer service and daycare is horrible. I was just able to learn a lesson, and read every word of any paper you sign, because you can get sign up for a 3 year contract or worse, you never know. I do not recommend, but if you decide to get it, just make sure you are not being dragged to a long term contract. good luck

In a day and time such as this the average working person doesnt have time to sit in front of a computer writing a horrible review about a gym of all things. Thursday night August 17, 2017 I find myself doing this exact thing. I just had to be truthful about my as well as several of my friends gym experiences at the nShape in Antioch on Lone Tree Way. First of all my car was broken into last night August 16, 2017. I was actually informed by a member that was outside arriving at the gym and who witnessed this event happening. He stated that there was a suspicious white BMW 4 door Sedan (5 Series) riding very fast through the parking lot. This is what caught his attention. The car then pulled up on the side of my friend mustang first. I guessed they (at least 2 people) decided not to break into his car for whatever reason. They then pulled in between his and my car and one person got out and proceeded to attempt to break several of my windows before finally breaking my back drivers side window. My wallet and cell phone were stolen. They of course proceeded to make charges with my card getting gas. There was actually another member that was parked near me whos car was broken in as well. This kind of thing is a Epidemic at the Antioch nShape. This gym is unsafe for members to park their vehicles. I personally know about 4 members that have had their cars broken into at Antioch nShape. I spoke with the receptionist and she stated her car has been broke into 3 times at this location. I also spoke with the manage today August 17, 2017 at 12:30 pm and he stated that his car had been broken into as well. Another staff member tonight had the same thing happen to him. This is unacceptable! I believe that part of my membership dues show include me being able to park my car at the gym and not have to have my car broken into and vandalized. This has without question been a ongoing issue that nShape has known about and they have done nothing to improve the quality of the parking lot. This is wrong and I feel as a member Im being taken advantage of, ignored, and the issue is being treated as ...and I quote This is just the time we live in which was the statement the manager made to me. It gives me no solace to know that your car was broken into as well. I think the manager was very unprofessional, dis-pleasingly candid and he took this very lightly. It was very clear that my car being broke into wasnt important nor did he show any concern. I came into nShape to check to see if he could bring up any video footage from this incident. He stated that the cameras dont cover the whole parking lot or where my car was parked at but only gets a good view of the front where there is about 95% disabled parking. So most members would not be able to park in these stalls. What good is it to have cameras if they dont capture whats going on in the parking lot. I feel like the manager was lazy and didnt go out of his way or put any effort into looking at the footage. He was quick to tell me that the cameras would not have seen anything. When I arrived he had not even looked at the incident reports yet. I had to wait for him because staff stated he was on lunch. When I asked him what time he started he said 11:00 am. It was about 12:30 so he had only been working for about 1 1/2 hours. The receptionist from the night before told me that he started at 11:00 am. So I feel like that should have been the first thing he gave his attention to. I can tell you that customer service is definitely not a top priority at nShape. nonexistent. My biggest concern is my property and safety. Why has there not been a hired guard or someone to monitor the parking lot during operation hours both day and night until the gym closes. Part of the problem I see is that this company has kids running the place at night. There are no adults (manager or supervisor) on site during the evening hours. A gym cant run itself. There should be a competent adult at all times working both shift day and night to oversee this facility.

😡So ive been a customer here for about 2 years. In the last 4 months ive stoped going. I tryied to cancel my membership befor i was billed for it i did and 3 days later they billed me for it anyways. Then they denied my refund because i was 1 day late in the billing cycle.! Needless to say im very angry with this expieriance! ive spent over 2400$ at this gym and this how they treat me! BS.

I’m so glad the club is opened back up I use the Antioch InShape I love the aqua classes we were using the outdoor pool until Monday the 26th it was one very cold day which it seems to have made the water colder so they decided for everyone’s health they had to stop the classes I was really disappointed I would have kept going no matter how cold so I was back to finding different classes that would fit my schedule & since I’m an amputee it’s hard to figure it out when you can only take one class a day so I finally decided on a couple. Then I got the news today we get to use indoor pool I’m so happy I’ve already lost 6mo. Which undid my prior year of shaping up, it’s ok though I’ve already started again.

Needless to say I felt pretty dumb. I can understand suggesting something for the betterment of the gym and its members. But there is such a thing as going too far.

I really tried to give InShape the chance to get this club cleaned up. Nasty, nasty place to go. Dirty equipment, dirty and smelly bathrooms and shower areas. I primarily use pool to do lap swim. Not worth swimmimg in a pool that that hair and god knows what else there is sticking to my body as i swim, cloudy and nasty. Cloramine? Im done. I quit. Please do not respond as if to patronize your viewers comments. Do something about it. This is a serious health issue InShape of Antioch.

I think its absolutely ridiculous that they never have the freebies you get for having 12 check ins a month! First of all, they dont even send you the email until after almost a week after check in #12, then when you go to claim your prize, surprise, theyre all out. They used to put your name on a waiting list, which was a joke because you still never received your prize, but now they dont even have a waiting list☹ Why even have incentives for checking in, if you never have enough to give out?!?!

This facility of Inshape has a nice layout for all of your fitness needs. Upstairs is a nice assortment of cardio machines. They even have an elevator to get to the second floor. On the main floor they have cable weights in the main room, a separate room for free weights, a kids club for your children, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, a room called 360 fit, and racket ball courts. The staff is always curtious and quick to help you.

Just heard this morning from a member that several times people have jumped the fence and have cut the locks in the locker rooms and stolen car keys to get into the cars and then steal other stuff including the car. The staff at the Antioch in shape on Lone Tree never said a word or posted anything. I find this very bad business and they have done nothing to stop the entry of theives so they can do this same thing again. Glad I am moving and stopping my membership.

I do not like women bringing their little boys into the womens locker room while Im in there unknowingly changing out of my bathing suit or coming out of the shower in just a towel. I dont think young girls should be in their either. Id like to know what a child psychologist thinks of this because I think it is really rock n insulting to me n the changing rooms are only 2, usually wet floor n dirty n if Im caught at my locker, should I run across the room to the changing closets. Moms, GO in the family locker!

I use to drive 60 miles 4 a week to Antioch Inshape..you train like an athlete there ..some bew, but plenty out dated EQUIPMENT.. new staffing weekly ...no one fully trained, A BIG TURN OVER IN EMPLOYEES.. Morgan hired a few men that clearly bragged being in orison..items stolen regularly from members..men locker broken into, cars stolen out the parking lot .I housekeeping is HORRIBLE, lead does not work in am just socialize or so call train females he pick up on...new janitor Mark is not a people person, lazy, hides, dont work either...management tge wirst. cameras dont lie, but the click (members) do and so dies the in nature general manager CAMERON... and he has staff to go along with this on fighting bull...Morgan gone, a plus.. CAMERON needs to go and InShape bring in a nature person to bring the gym to a higher and better standard..In the 4am house staff keave doors unlocked and HOMELESS MEN BE IN THE POOLS AND SAUNA...I HAVE PICS...mo PROFESSIONALS SERVICE THE POOL. the lead $10.71 an hour does from a previous kead...

I have been going to this gym for a long time, I like everything except that now if I want to use the massage chairs I have to pay more for Membership and there are only 2 chairs and only 1 works, there is no point, they are always busy, they should fix the other one and equip it with more so that it is enough for all the people.
