I had an excellent experience dealing with imperium energy. They replaced my complete roof and added solar panels with an upgraded 200amp electrical panel. The person I dealt with was Shawn. He was very responsive returning every call, text, or email through the entire process. There was never any pressure during the entire process and he took care of everything from the design to the permits and finally the work and final inspection. He will also give you addresses of previous jobs so that you can see their quality of work. It was so nice to see my last 2 electric bills as -22 dollars. Now during the summer I can run my air conditioning without worrying about my electric bill. Thanks again imperium energy.

The process of getting my quote was so simple and easy. I didnt feel that I was being pushed or persuaded but was given answers to any questions and felt comfortable making the right decision by going with them. We have been looking for roofing and solar for a while now, and Imperium Energy is the only place where I felt my best interest was put first. They are very knowledgeable in what they do and did a great job making this whole job easier on us. Special shout out to Shawn; without him, we would have been lost throughout all of this. Imperium Energy was great! We are first time home buyers, and we decided to install solar panels with Imperium Energy as well as upgrade our electric panel from 100 to 200. This company and Shawn is amazing. Shawn made sure to keep us in constant communications, helped with explaining everything through the process, and the installers were very prompt and professional. Imperium Energy replaced our roof, installed solar panels and also replaced our HVAC unit. They had the best quote and seemed very reliable. They did an amazing job! From the correspondence with Shawn, to the timely paperwork/approval with the city and the quick work done. We were very happy with our roof and solar panels.During several days of rain we noted areas of leakage. We contacted Imperium Energy and they promptly evaluated the problem areas and made repairs immediately. We havent had any recurrent issues since then.We would without hesitation recommend this company to others!

We did a solar install and roof replacement with Imperium. It was a very complex process with the panel upgrades, working with the electric company, and getting the permits, but Shawn was great taking handling it all. We are very happy with the finished product. Shawn always responded to our needs and was always quick to reply to texts during the process. I would recommend!

Based on the ease of getting an estimate without pushy sales tactics, the pricing which was quite a bit less than almost every other quote we got, and the simplicity with which everything was handled, I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Shawn and his team have been excellent to work with. The only slowdown in the process was me!Shawn explained the process thoroughly, always responded in a timely manner even when I didnt, and kept me apprised of the status along the way. I have no reservations at all about recommending them to anyone I hear looking to go solar. What an amazing crew honestly, I got a really good feeling from Shawn even though they were more expensive than 2 other quotes i got i went with my gut and paid over 5000 more to work with them. I definitely do not regret my decision. From the presentation to the scheduling/communication to the actual installation and work quality it was absolutely seamless, fast and professional. I cant recommend these guys enough, i love my new roof and solar system thank you Imperium and Shawn and all the workers that worked on the extremely hot roof during a heat wave!I clearly 100% recommend them, good job and thank you again imperium.

We have been researching companies for a couple years to make the big step to invest in solar panels and get connected to natural energy. With so many companies out there it was important to pick one that would Truly help educate us and ensure that our large solar project would be connected and active soon after the install. Imperium energy impressed. Pricing was affordable and they offered various ways to finance. From start to finish, there was excellent communication and professionalism. Panels were installed quickly, electrical upgrades done and approval completed faster than expected. They provided thoughtful placement of the panels to ensure the home aesthetics were considered too. We contacted Imperium Energy online to come give us a quote and compare with others and our representative Shawn did a much better job at explaining everything to us about how solar works and what are exact savings would be. We liked that he was not a pushy salesmen and more of a consultant that wanted to show us the benefits and savings. It’s been 4 weeks now since our initial meeting and our solar system and brand new roof is up and running and we are so grateful!! We had solar panels installed on our home last month and our system just got activated yesterday. We originally met with our rep Christian and he did a great job explaining everything to us and making sure we were comfortable with the whole process before moving forward. The actual installation only took one day and the crew made sure everything was cleaned up after which we appreciated. Thanks to Shawn and the whole team for finishing my entire roof and solar project within 2 weeks! We did a roofing job with this company recently and it exceeded our expectations. Our rep was able to explain everything to us about the process and he beat all of my previous quotes as well. We did a full shingle roof replacement with some plywood work and they were able to finish everything within a week. We have nothing but good things to say about this company and their team. Our home needed a new roof and solar and we were able to do both with them and they finished both projects within 2 weeks. We compared with a couple companies before making our final decision and our rep was able to beat all their prices at the end. We decided to go with Owens Corning cool roof and SunPower panels after comparing with a couple other options but ultimately happy with what we chose. Excited to start our savings now!

Our 6.5 kWh solar system is officially installed! From day one, the crew and my rep were so nice and helpful throughout our project. From the patience in answering all my questions, and the flexibility on timing to install. Arian was amazing and was their through the process from beginning to the end. Overall we had a great experience with this company. They delivered on all their promises and even though we ran into a couple bumps in the road they always were able to fix it. Our electricity bills were over $200 per month and now they’re just about $10 after our solar system was activated.We’ve had a very positive experience and will be recommending our friends to also go solar with Imperium Energy.

UPDATE: There is NO excuse for installing used unwarrantied 2011 panels on our roof. I challenge the company to come up with one. We threw away money and now are in litigation to get it back. Not only are their yelp and google reviews ALL fake (yes, I emailed all 118 five star reviews to ask about their experience and ZERO replied), but I believe they also found my own business online and wrote a fake negative review for me. This company essentially stole $22,000 from us and installed UNWARANTIED USED 2011 COMMERCIAL PANELS on our roof rather than the required residential panels. The permit has been revoked and now, going on one year and five months after we signed the contract, we still do not have the system or our money back. They also replaced our hvac system saying we needed to do so and it doesnt even work! To top it all off, they sued US for breach of contract because we didnt pay the remaining $9000. Of course, you cant sue for a balance due upon completion of contract when the contract wasnt completed so their lawsuit is without merit and they will be responsible for legal fees etc. But what a hassle and such an awful thing to do to a family. Stay FAR FAR FAR away from Shawn/Shay and his father and their subcontractor Southwest Solar. Shawn seems nice, he fooled us. His father is actually the license holder and the business has been active for only a couple of years (wonder how they accumulated 120 reviews). The 5 star reviews are likely paid for. ****The solar system is operating, however, the monitoring system was not set up correctly so we have no idea how much power is being produced. The manufacturer notified us that the panels are not appropriate for residential use. The county revoked the permit and it is currently open yet the company will not remedy the situation and they simply ignore my requests. If you would like any evidence, please email me as they continue to deny the facts (which are recorded with the county and CSLB). If we could afford a lawyer, we would sue them for the 40K in damages we are suffered. Final note: CSLB have charged Imperium with multiple violations, you can contact them too.
