About last year (2023) during the summer, my laptop screen just died on me out of nowhere. I found iGeek Tech Repair online and had them repair my laptop. The wait and cost were not bad at all. I believe I was estimated a 3-4 day wait for the screen to be delivered as well as the technician working on my laptop. Cost was reasonable too. The staff at iGeek is really helpful in giving estimated pricing per your repair needs. Recently my laptops battery is in need of repair as well. I plan on taking my laptop back here to get it all fixed up! :D

My Apple laptop that i have depended upon for over a decade was not working while I was on vacation in Elk Grove. I thought for sure it was time to buy a new laptop but I took it to iGeek Tech Repair and they quickly identified the problem as a worn out battery, ordered the part and had it repaired the next day !! Not only was it working perfectly within 24 hours but when I got it back it was cleaned and looked brand new. I am totally impressed with this store and recommend them highly. 10 stars!!!!

I gave my Lenovo Legion7 laptop to replace thermal interfaces. it heated up to 102 degrees Celsius. The service guys installed liquid metal for me, the temperatures are now in the range of no higher than 70 degrees Celsius. Now it works at full power, does not heat up. At first I didn’t agree to liquid metal, I was afraid that something would go wrong. But simply replacing the thermal paste did not help. I was again offered liquid metal - and the result exceeded my expectations. very friendly staff, attentive attitude towards the client and feedback. The team values its first-class reputation. I recently came to the USA, it’s nice that I met such good people and specialists. In the future I will only repair equipment from them. I wish them success and good luck

I brought in a custom-built pc that wasnt receiving any power. I thought it was a psu issue but turns out it was a faulty motherboard. iGeek replaced my motherboard and noticed that the original motherboard was fine, but my cpu was faulty. They not only replaced my cpu but also upgraded it, then powered and put my pc back together with better cable management. I highly recommend iGeek the staff is very kind and understanding 👍.

Awesome experience! I dropped my iPad and the screen was cracked. Took it in to iGeek Tech Repair. Great customer service and a reasonable price. My only complaint is that I had to wait one day to get it fixed as they did not have the screen in stock. But really not much of a complaint.

They helped me diagnose why my computer was crashing. Diagnosis is not in my wheelhouse, but hardware replacement is, so I did not have them complete repair. They were super helpful and I will definitely be back when I have a need that I cant complete myself.

Took my ZTE nubia Redmagic 8 gaming phone in to have the screen replaced long process took a while because they had to ordered it from China. First screen was defective had to wait for 2nd screen to be shipped out. It took 2 months to get the whole repair done as the first screen had white line across the screen and started bleeding black spot from the edges. I thought it was because the screen was defective but turns out the technician might have added a little too much adhesive which leak into the screen but at least he was honest about it and told me honestly that it was probably due to his mistake, though the process was long and there were some nicks and scratches at the back Im just glad to have my phone back again. I like the honesty and would recommend as a local repair shop. Id give it 5 stars if it wasnt due to the small nicks/scratches, which seems to be inside the see through back frame, but Im happy to just have a good screen again. Gaming Time!Update: Took the offer to bring it back and have it clean. All and all they did what they can to clean the debris inside looks good enough to me. From 4 stars to 5 Stars now. Great service and great people thanks again!

Used iGeek Repair to fix my iPhone. When I called around they offered a better service for the same cost as their competition by replacing my entire rear bezel vs. just repairing the broken glass, which was the issue I had. Unfortunately, they must have bumped something as when I got the phone back the Face ID didnt work. But I understand things happen, stilling giving 5 Stars as they got me in fixed the issue very quickly and didnt give me any grief about it. Thank you iGeek!

I own an OLD Apple iMac with OLD software (OS X 10.6.8) that I use because I have a lot of OLD software - that STILL works fine! So when the display started looking funky, I thought the graphics card was going bad. iGeek replaced the card, and when it was determined that I needed a new screen as well, they worked VERY hard to get a good screen for my old desktop! Just fired it up and it looks great! These guys are great to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Brought my pc in on Dec 16th to have a simple bios update and some rewiring done. Paid the diagnosis fee even though I knew what the problem was and communicated it to their team(new build pc).I received an email on the 18th confirming the charge and what scope of work was to be done(confirmed what I told them was the problem). I called them to confirm the work and charges are accepted.I was told the repair would be completed by Monday or Tuesday by the latest. I followed up Tuesday and they had not even started… they said that they did not get confirmation to complete the work even though I called and spoke with someone at the location the day I was sent the first response. I was assured it would be top of the priority list and completed the following day. The following day came and passed and was still not completed.Fast forward to Thursday the 21st at 4:33PM I get an email confirming the repair was completed and I can pick up my PC.After finally getting to pick up my pc I just got home and realized they did not return my power cable… I got my pc home and can’t use it… now will have to go back again to collect my power cable.The team there needs to work on communication within the store and need to work on setting proper expectations with their clients.

I normally dont use computer repair services but I was too busy to diagnose and fix my laptop. Hammad upgraded my ram and hard drive and now my laptop is running like new. These guys were awesome! I cracked my screen- wanted to fix the problem *before* I confessed what I had broken... and they accommodated me so much in that process. Not only did they get the screen that I needed, and replaced it, but they juggled around a complicated schedule I created to avoid being caught in the middle of that achievement! :D Each staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. My only criticism would be (from a salespersons perspective) was that they missed a HUGE opportunity to up sale when I would have been willing to get a new case, screen protector, glass cover, etc... They were honest about the time frame, gave me updates by text. I was very impressed. Then I had a few questions on my iphone about not getting wi-fi hotspot. Bait and Switch...Beware. I took my laptop for a LCD replacement. I was quoted a price, in writing by text. I called iGeek to approve the work and the quoted fee, and gave them my credit card information. They ordered the wrong LCD screen and delayed the repair by a week. When the correct LCD screen came in, they charged my credit card for MORE than the originally quoted price. A few texts back and forth, and they initially agreed to honor the quoted fee. When I went to pick up my laptop, the desk attendant would not give me my laptop back, even though my credit card had already been overcharged. He stated that I had to agree to the higher price in a text reply. I said I do not agree to the higher price. Since my credit card had already been overcharged, I demanded my laptop back. After a heated exchange, I finally got my laptop back; no invoice, no receipt, no customer service of any kind.You will notice in the company reply, they say they are sorry for miscommunication...what they dont say is that they honored the price they quoted. Total B.S.Just because you are polite, does mean you are trustworthy.

I really hate the throw-away culture we live in so when my printer broke, I wanted to find someone who could fix it (ideally for less than it would cost to buy a new printer!) iGeek got the job done! I had an unexpected crash with my boot drive and CMOS error code. I usually fix my own stuff but I had no time because I was busy with school. IGeek was the first business that showed up on Google. Gave them a call, Hamad was super nice and professional and told me that I can take it in that same day. It was a $99 dollar diagnostic fee + any additional fixes or upgrades that needed to be done, which is not too bad. The only thing is that I wish they would have updated me on the progress that was being done on my PC. They sent me an email with the progress that was being done, but It was never really updated. After 6 days, my PC was working properly. Very professional people and would definitely recommend this place if youre having any PC or tech related issues. I have used Hammad a few times to repair laptops. The first time was when he was still working out of his house back in 2014. Now that he has a shop, he still offers the same level of customer service he did then. Prices are way more reasonable than the competitior prices and his turnaround time is quick. When I got it back, it was quicker at starting up and loading programs than when I first bought it. I called all the places and ask for prices so i could compare. When I called IGeek Tech I spoke with Hammad. My kids always wear out phones and iGeek Elk Grove keeps them running whenever tbere is a disaster. It’s funny watching them have to deal with life without thier babies when a repair takes an hiur or two!! I finally had a phone problem and they fixed it quickly and for no cost. Not saying they’re giving away free phone repairs but mine just had gunk down in the charger housing. Took one min to fix. Anyway, that is why we stick with iGeek - reliable phone fixes!

Replaced battery in my iPad. They were efficient, courteous and accommodating, even staying 5 minutes after closing so I could pick up my iPad.

Took my laptop to install windows on a ssd, they kept it for 3 days i finally decided to call and see whats taking too long and tried to charge me $400 cuz apparently the motherboard was damaged, brought the laptop home and did it myself.really bad service and try to steal your money if you let them

In the evening I had a power failure in my PC. I called iGeek at 9 am and he was out by 10 am and had it fixed in minutes. I even had him correct some annoying things on my computer. Great price, too!
