This company is a scam, after I cancelled the account they kept taking money out bank account. After I cancelled my debit card they got the bank to give them my new debit card number, an started taking more money. If you need your credit report go to my fico. Dont waste your money or time

If there was an option to give negative stars I would give negative 5 ! I went with identityIQ because the credit repair place I was working with said I have to get a credit report ! But come to find out they charged me multiple times last month and this month. So I called today and explained what Im seeing on my transactions thinking they be able to fix the problem ! Instead they made excuses and they said theyre system will not allow refunds ! So I pointed out this is a monthly service right, so why is my wife and I being over charged the monthly service fee ! Afte seeing that we were overcharged, IdentityIQ representatives still would not issue a refund! And after explaining the overcharges and sent emails on the transactions, the person on the other line- both times were still trying to offer services for lesser amounts of phone insurance ! Same scenario with my wife aswell cuz shes back at home at the bank trying to sort out this mess out as i leave this review ! And she had canceled her membership after the 7 day trial and they refunded her the money then, but the following month got double charged after she called and canceled with the identityIQ rep., and to this day they have been double charging both my wife and I ! And still charged me for next month at which I pointed out why Im I goin to pay services Im not goin to recieve if theyre goin stop services immediately ? Seems like they trying to use every tactic to keep getting overcharging and Im supposed to be ok with that ! Im trying to rebuild my credit and this is the most fraudulent activity Ive ever encountered ever and this is with a company that claims theyre supposed to render services to prevent this type of mishaps ! When theyre the 1s charging my account every week for theyre monthly fee ! I wouldve gone with another company but this was recommended by the credit repair company I was dealing with ! So now looks like Im goin to cancel my services with them aswell for letting be a victim of fraud ! Hope this dont happen to no one else out there !
They get their 5 stars because they ask people to review them when you first get a subscription with them not because theyre great. They also get bonuses for the 5stars so thats why they push it.‼️The woman I signed up with told me they can help send out disputes so it can help my score. Come to find out it was a partial truth. Theyll help with disputes but you have to file them. Definitely not what she told me.When I called to cancel the guy made it seem like it wasnt them but some random 3rd party. Even though their using identity IQs name. Weather it was or wasnt I was given the wrong info to get me to sign up and leave a good review.🚨So after I cancelled after they harass you for upgrades and benefits and reconsidering. I called by bank to have them blocked so I can sleep comfortably.‼️ Since the first time they only cancelled my add ons and I had to call back 5mins later to RE-CANCEL the whole account. ‼️Garbage.
Horrible BUSINESS PRACTICES, Horrible customer service, Horrible All the Way Around. You cant cancel it on the app or online.I had to speak with the Supervisor to cancel my account, the first guy I spoke with, said he would cancel my account but didnt cancel it.After a year of being charged I have to call them back to cancel my account. This time I spoke a man who said he had cancelled it but he didnt. I asked about a refund, they tried to tell me they dont refund because I agreed to the Terms of Service. I told them I had already called to cancel this acc a year ago.They said there were no notes about me cancelling. They kept trying to entangle me with other promotional offers and that my information would be vulnerable. They never even sent me so much as an alert in the past year.I stayed on the phone for 30 minutes arguing with these people, to CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. After all the back and forth Supervisor finally gave me a courtesy 1 month refund and cancelled my account. After they charged me a year worth of service.This is fraud!!! Because you have to literally make sure while on the phone with them that they cancelled your account because they say they will but they WONT. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR CANCELLATION EMAIL FROM THEM AND READ OFF YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER to them or else youll keep getting charged 34.99 every month. This is just horrible!!!!

Do not call here or give your information before knowing their prices, first I was searching for experian fraud department number and it brought their number when I called I asked specifically if this is experian fraud department number and the agent said yes. Anyways I wanted to dispute a credit inquiry so I gave them my information and credit card number thinking this is the process for disputing the inquiry with experian anyways then he is like for this dispute we are going to charge few hundred dollars and thats when I realized I have called to the wrong place, I apologized and said I wont use their services and after a week I see a charge on my card from their company I call and I ask what is this they said it is a monthly subscription, note I never chose any monthly subscription so I told them that and they said that they can’t refund my money and after when I told them I will dispute it with my card they apparently got afraid and made a one time “excuse” and refunded my money. 2 weeks later from that I see charge on my card and I have suspicion that the agent stole my information because I have never used that card and it is always at home I have never had any other issues with my other credit cards so I assume it was the agent. Be Careful
This company is horrible. I have been getting charged $29.99 a month and havent been able to see any of my reports unless I call and wait on hold for a long time. When I spoke to the supervisor CARLA today which Im sure was at a call center, she didnt offer to refund my money even though she had no explanation on why my credit score has only been updated 2 times within 7 months. I do not recommend this to anybody for credit monitoring. WASTE of money at an expensive price for monitoring.
What I thought was another company that I was trying to contact the rep on the line signed me up for something and then charged me for it when I didnt agree and hung up on him, they then signed me up for a monthly service program, which again I didnt sign up for it. And when I called to cancel this service they continued to bombard me with offers, that again, I didnt sign up for. I do not recommend them for anything.

He was most patient and kind as he helped me get my account access adequately taken care of! I am currently on a trial period, however I most likely will continue my membership beyond the seven days since this is the second delightful experience Ive had with IdentityIQ! Called January 5th to cancel got a confirmation that my subscription was canceled.Received an email February 6th saying they charged my card again.Called customer support, they confirmed I canceled my subscription in January. Then said I have to call and cancel it again twice before its actually canceled and they wouldnt give me a refund after I have a confirmation email that it was canceled.Very shotty and shady business that they are running to keep charging peoples credit cards.I had to threaten to give me a refund or I was having my assistant give all 1 star reviews for a week straight until they refunded me finally.

This place is an absolute JOKE. The whole place is a SCAM. Without my knowledge they signed me up for $19.99 a month plan. I called once to cancel and after the worst customer service experience I’ve had I was assured it had been canceled. WRONG. They continued to CHARGE ME. Avoid these people as much as possible…. Don’t trust them with your financial information.
Everyone is excellent in helping you with resorting your credit score. I know personally that most people us have doubts in confined serious information. But not to worry theyre very trustworthy and reliable. And theyre are not judgmental or even treated you disrespectful. Theyre very concerned about YOU. Theyll take first priority to your case. We all have flaws but these people are truly reliable. Youre going to be very welcome and very warm in having a straight up conversation with your issues.

The IDIQ customer service representative, Kenya, was patient and pleasant to speak with. She provided me with clear and concise answers to my questions about my plan. In addition, when listening closely to my concern she shared with me (my work requires me to be in the public) the benefits of the defender plan. She didnt suggest or recommend, she shared with me the benefits of the defender plan and it included the exact benefits that I was in pursuit of. I wish I could give this post 10 stars because it is refreshing and relieving to a customer when a customer needs assistance with a matter and its completely resolved. In addition to that sense of relief, my monthly payment commitment is the same as it was when I signed up. In other words, from what Ive experienced, there are no hidden fees. Great business coupled with great customer service makes for a happy customer.

I wish I could give ZERO stars! This company is a SCAM!! First of all, I was NOT told that I was being signed up for an ongoing subscription. I was working with a credit repair company who said I needed to do a one time payment of $1 to access and that they WOULD NOT store my card information. This specific card was one I dont use, and so we REPEATEDLY went over how it would NOT BE STORED as a payment method. Well, ABSOLUTE LIE. I got charged $20 bucks a month on that card they ASSURED me wasnt going to stored. Then, canceling is NIGHTMARE! You have to Call, there is no access to cancel on the website. My subscription was paid up until Feb. 19, I called Feb 5 to cancel. They said if I cancel, it cancels immediately, no longer granting access, even though I had paid FULL PRICE up to Feb 19th. So I said okay great, can you process a partial refund then, since youre not going to honor access for the time Ive already PAID for. Then they started going into some according to the agreement (NEVER AGREED) you agreed to NO REFUND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES I was then told I could call back on the 19th if I wanted access for WHAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. This place is a JOKE and TOTAL SCAM!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Just wanted to test out Identity IQ for the trial period, however, I didnt want to continue the service, so I attempted to cancel the subscription and I had the time of my life getting it done. The representative kept upselling products and each time I kept telling her please cancel. She wont listen. This was unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone buy this service. I dont trust this company.

I got signed up for this through a credit repair company that told me it was only one payment. It was a monthly payment that I tried to cancel for a year without success. They weren’t taking enough to get a lawyer to sue them so I had to eat those payments for an entire year because no one at that company would cancel it because I didn’t set it up so I didn’t know my username and password. So it finally came down to me canceling my credit card so they can no longer steal from me. This is by far the worst company in the United States. I trust the government more than I trust this company. That’s pretty low.

I had an issue logging into IdentityIQ account, Shelby walked me through the process and help reestablish my account. She also informed me that is program through IdentityIQ that add an extra layer of protection and also helps you dispute resolve collections issues as well. I am definitely considering it.
SCAM! On Nov 29, I purchased the Secure Max Plan for Daily updates for 30day for all 3 Bureaus and it HASNT worked since Nov 29. The Scores were INACCURATE and they only provided 2 Bureaus. I called back in on Nov 30 to fix the issue with the 3rd Bureaus. Its now DEC 18 and I have not received not one update or alert. . my scores are still reporting NOV 30. Customer Service was rude and wanted to try to fix as they attempted on NOV 30 or cancel with no refund & was eager to transfer me to a supervisor. His attitude changed as soon as I mentioned refund for not holding up there end of the agreement. ZERO alerts in three weeks when I have over 5 active credit cards is crazy. Thankfully, the supervisor Maria quickly refunded.. Ill stick with MYFICO.

Think about it… they want to charge you money for a subscription for their service however, their information concerning your report is old and outdated unlike Credit Karma. Moreover, when I called to unsubscribe, they tried everything in their power to convince me to buy a lesser package even after repeatedly explained to them that their information was incorrect. Absolute worst. Fake credit scores mislead you. The numbers were inaccurate by 40-50 points. Good luck trying to cancel be state they make it super hard. The lady was badgering me and insulting me for wanting to cancel. Absolutely outrageous. I’m addition she told me that if I was working with a creditor that they were using it solely because they get paid for getting us to sign up. Again more lies and information, making me not feel comfortable using their service. I’m not even sure if she actually canceled my account. I guess I will have to dispute it with the bank. Do not recommend!

This place is a fraud, they charged me 35 after a week and then 185 today I have no idea who and when I gave these people permission to pull money out of my account. I authorized 1 dollar and 1 week later they now have taken over 200 from my account. This place is a fraud…. Thief’s! Be careful these company is a front to steal money out of your account do not authorize anything
I am beening charged two times for this and I have never signed up for it. And cannot get any help to figure out why being charged over $50.00 a month and have never even heard of this company. I have tried everything to cancel so called membership and I am not able too. Maybe I need to file a report with BBB and might just consult with an attorney since the company don’t want to help.
Be aware that if you cancel your membership (the process for which I can see being a little confusing for some), the service is canceled immediately - Even if youve recently been billed within 24hrs. So best to set a reminder for the day before renewal, before you cancel - otherwise youre basically being robbed. Its not like some other services where they continue service (until next billing date) after a cancellation.
I did not sign up for this company, but they insist that I did. I was charged for services and they only read off of a prompt to tell you no refund is their policy, all the while trying to be pushy in sales. I was fraudulently signed up for this account and they didnt even have my contact information correct but still proceeded to tell me I chose to sign up and again push sales. This is supposed to be a company that protects your information, but they easily gave mine away to someone and wont refund the fraud charge.
I never signed up for their services, I called them because they were listed on my credit report and they charged me $1 to run my credit. now I have been billed $25 for a service I never agreed to. this company is a SCAM. they refused to give a refund and after looking in to this company I would make sure you never give them your credit card. I am currently looking in to Class Action Law Suits currently pending against them.

Complete piece of junk - credit reports were consistently off by more than 50 points. A better portrayal of the company is their zero refunds policy. I have been billed (twice now) after officially cancelling my account. Once they have your billing info, theres no telling how many times they will bill you. Avoid at all costs.

I signed up because the owner of a room on craigslist wanted it. Got my score sent it now hopefully I get the room if not this site still was helpful and I got to see my credit score. When I cancelled the representative was very understanding unlike bills. I also use HR block so they are supposed to be helping me with dark web and peace of mind.

I signed up through a credit repair company thinking it was $1.99 and then needed to cancel within the time frame or you’d be charge $29.99. All would be great but they made it super difficult to cancel. There is no option to cancel on the website so if you call after hrs you can’t which I didn’t realize. Then when you call during hrs you’re waiting 20 plus minutes. They argued that you could get a call back. There are multiple reasons why that’s not convenient unless you’re sitting by your phone waiting which is no different than waiting on hold, if you miss a call you’re calling them back anyways. Then they proceed to state that if you cancel you can easily reinstate online. It’s clear they are just wanting your money. I get it’s a business but very poor business if you make it super difficult on the customer just to take their money.
My experience with Jaylon was perfect! He was knowledgeable, courteous and patient. He took the time to explain everything very clearly and concise. I’d hire him for my team!
This service is a fraud and scam! They work with affiliate companies to pull your credit report and dispute it. Will tell you its only $1 to do the pull then sign you up for a monthly memebership and not tell you. Customer service is also rude and will refuse to refund you

They only want your money. I canceled my subscription on the 7th day for $1. On the 8th day my account was charged. I called to see about a refund, they rejected it. I asked them to reactivate my account then to cover me for the month I was charged. Also rejected, said they’d charge me again the subscription even though they have one payment with no work to show for it. When I called to cancel, the rep bombarded me with more options when I clearly wanted to cancel. They only want their money. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

An update: I was charged AGAIN 4 days after cancellation. I even received a confirmation email that stated everything was effective immediately! I called again confused and somehow wound up back on the phone with the same guy. I like what other reviews said, he is actually trying to process my refund and guaranteed me I would get one. I also asked for a refund confirmation email, he said it should already be in my inbox. It is not. These people have until Monday to process my refund or else they are being reported as fraudulent to my bank AND the BBB and I will get my money back from them regardless. I don’t know how this place doesn’t have a lawsuit against them.Truly I have no idea how this company even got my information. I contacted a medical debt collection agency from debt accrued from having a child. Somehow me paying a bill turned into being sold on this place and me giving my debit card information to the collection company turned into this company drafting from my account every month. I have tried to call numerous times to cancel and it is a battle every time. Today I finally had success but only after being practically begged to stay with their “coverage” and trying to upsell me with other policies “for a really great deal” when I didn’t even sign up in the first place! 15 minutes later after a phone call that could have taken 3 minutes if he didn’t try to additionally sell me everything g they have to offer, I finally was able to cancel. This company is a scam and their customer service practices are an absolute flaming trash can. I happily stayed for the survey at the end.

After listing my original complaint, which is listed below, I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised by this company. Not only did they reach out promptly to help resolve the issue, they took it very seriously and were extremely helpful. It’s not often that companies do such, and they absolutely helped resolve the problem.Original Complaint: I called a creditor to pay off a debt and was given a long winded explanation into why this service would be a better option. After going through the prompts, they tell me that before we get to the actual information they need $300 to get started. I wasn’t told about any IdentityIQ service, and because I gave them my card to process the credit reports, this person tells me that they have it on file and will charge me for the services either way if I don’t cancel my membership. So much fraud happening when you’re making a legitimate effort to get your credit fixed, such a shame that people are being taken advantage of through predatory tactics like this.
If you do sign up with this company and you want to cancel your plan, expect to wait 30 minutes to connect to a representative. Once connected, they will give you 10 scripts which will take around 10 minutes to go through on reasons why you shouldnt cancel. Very predatory practices, a cancel button is all thats needed.

I was really satisfied with the great customer service I recently had with IdentityIQ. Not only did they help fix my account with them but they also answered my of my tough credit report and other similar financial questions.
My representative was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and she was able to resolve my issue and suggested a new way to increase my credit score.
They should be shut down the better business bureau. They charged me for a plan I didnt want. They rely on the fact that you wont check your back account and they only way to cancel is to call a phone number. There is no way to manage your account online so they rely on people not calling and canceling and they offer nothing that you can get from fee plans. They take your money, waste your time, preying on people.
THIS IS A SCAM. I went to check my free score to submit an application for an apartment and SOMEHOW an account was created with this company. I called to cancel immediately and today I get charged 40$!!! I called to ask why they would charge me when I cancelled and I wanted a refund immediately and they said THEY DONT DO REFUNDS. I will be contacting the authorities as this is a complete scam!!
Called to cancel and they offered me multiple deals before confirming the cancellation. I wasn’t aware I was being signed up through a third party company when having my credit checked. I noticed when I saw the subscription charge on my bank statement. The representative was rude and disrespectful.
When you sign up it takes 2 minutes online, If you want to cancel be prepared for a 15 minute phone sales pitch before youll be allowed to cancel. Then theyll charge your card 1 more time for their trouble. When you ask for a refund theyll tell you its against company policy. I wouldnt trust a company with shady practices with my personal information. 1 star is too high. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

They changed my account from 10$ tier to 30$ tier on a Saturday which I did not consent to. Had to wait until Monday to cancel over the phone because you can’t cancel online. When I tried to cancel they tried to sell me other plans I don’t want. Then they said the only way they will refund me is if I try another month for free and if I choose to cancel now I will not receive a refund off a plan I NEVER CONSENTED TO UPGRADE. I paid for 30 days I didnt like the way it is setup, plus the scores are way inaccurate I found that MyFico is way better and has the correct scoring sysytem so Im sticking with them ...so I called to cancel my future plan, because you have to call to cancel ....I found why the girl warns me my email is exposed on the dark web and i need to aleast have the $9.99 basic plan to protect me ....hmmm guess thats why I have Norton 360 to block all that BS ...Then she also said I would not get any furure alerts on my credit ....wow i paid for 30 This company is a scam beware ......
If they didnt charge me 27.89 and 34.99 every 10 days I would say they are great for the purpose. I chose the easy 9.99 plan and they charged me 34.99 plus 27 from person pay every other week for 3 months even after I canceled. I had to shut my card off and get a new one to get the charges to stop. I used their free trial one time and they charged me for it 7 times. Scew them

I got tricked into signing up for this service through an online scam. They billed my credit card even though I sent them an email specifically telling them to delete my account and all my personal information they collected. I believe this company is a fraudulent company, essentially a criminal organization. The FBI needs to take a look at this company. I will be reporting them to law enforcement.
I wish I could give this company a negative 100 stars, these people are crooks and this is the absolute worst company ever. I got billed twice in September and was told that I was billed for May and June yet here it is September. I didnt even have access to IdentityIQ in May and June because my credit card had declined back then. So I was charged for past months that I didnt even have access to the service. They are crooks. This company is so messed up that I got charged after I called to cancel my Free trial three days into it. Thats not e even the worst of it. They charged My account two days in a row for $ 29.99 so theyve basically stole my $60.00. Thats what The national consumer protection agency has told me. Now Im waiting for The FCC and the banking regulatory commission to reply to me so I can get My Money back and put them out of business. Im not the first person to complain about them doing this either. The others Just didnt follow through with the complaint but I will. Its a shame that someone thats supposed to protect you takes from you instead. I truly hope theyre shut down and the powers that are in charge get the punishment that any other common thief would get. Be very careful trusting this company because theyre charging you for things that are free from credit reporting agencies and other online sources but theyre telling you otherwise.

EDIT: These people are absolute scumbags that are trying to silence consumers by reporting honest Google Reviews.Wont allow consumers to cancel their own membership without calling, when consumers reach out to them, theyre met with solicitation for other superfluous services. Ive recently reported them to the FTC for their dark patterns as it pertains to subscription cancellations and I encourage others to do the same.
Had to get an account for CreditIQ assistance. Useful service to allow them to see credit updates, but when I needed to cancel I couldn’t do it online (signup, switching plans online, cancellation option hidden in fine text telling you to call). Forced to call, 30 minute wait, after requesting cancellation they read me a super long script.

This company is a scam. I canceled the free subscription a week before it ended I have been charged for the last 4 months. You can’t use the website it won’t allow you to. You have to call which they tell you “you are 27th in line” then they offer a call back when it’s your place no one calls you back. I’m about to cancel my bank card and get a new one I’m so frustrated.BEWARE

Been trying to start a membership with them for 2 weeks but constantly been getting error messages. When I call support they tell me to call the credit bureaus to confirm that the information Im putting matches whats on my credit report, which it does. I even had a three-way call with them and Transunion to verify this. All in all I keep getting the run around and seems like no one know why Im not able to sign up for a membership. They say well reach out but no one reaches out. Im convinced theyre just running a scam.

Was trying to call a collection company but instead ended up on the line with a company called CreditGlory who deceptively made it sound like they were UCB collections. Asked my card for a $1 credit report charge, which actually signed me up for a free trial of Indentityiq which will turn into a $20 recurring charge. Cannot cancel online, must call and wait on hold for 30 minutes. SCAM

Why do I have to wait behind 30 people on the phone to cancel my subscription? And why isn’t the process to cancel my subscription easier. It makes no sense to wait on the phone for hours just to have a 2 minute convo about cancellation.

Total scam of a place, they will charge your account over and over, even after canceling. They use two companies to move money so you lose any way to get your money back. They are a total scam and should be sued for what they do. Total fraud! STAY AWAY!!!!

They will then offer you a refund but not make it clear that you were re-enrolling after you wanted to cancel. Then when you get charged a month later and you call back again to try to cancel it again, they will meet you with a snarky remark and tell you that you’re out of luck and you will not get your money back. Once you actually cancel, they will offer you more options to pay for their useless services and try to take more of your money. Do not use the service. Everyone Ive spoken to has been knowledgeable about credit, collections, dispute process, changes on my account, my questions, my concerns and etc. A representative named Kenya was the last person Ive spoken with and she made my day by helping me very quickly with disputing a debt and explained the entire process. I have Identity IQ (Secure Max plan $30.99 + tax and Utility reporting add on $5 + tax monthly) with and Credit Sage ($99 + tax monthly) just to monitor my credit. My score has gone up almost 100 point in 8 months. Its pricey and I almost quit both the companies at least 4 times, just to save money but my score excellent thanks to these companies. I highly recommend.
