Great guys, fantastic price and easily fit me in at short notice. Waaaaaay cheaper than Tesla to repair a flat and no…I didn’t ask for an oil change on my Tesla!😂

Eric at Ian’s exceeded my expectations. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, it was so helpful to speak with someone so knowledgeable and patient. They took such great care of my car; gave me an extremely fair price on an oil change + tire rotation + they balanced my tires. Will not be going to any other auto shops after my experience at Ian’s! They’ve won my business on all the car things!

Needed new tires for my Eclipse and some folks I help recommended Ians Tire & Auto Repair.So I went there two days ago in the heavy rain, and the entire experience was great and I learned a few things.Ali at the counter greeted me with a smile, and exuded excellent customer service throughout the entire process. Eric the manager is polished and took the time to ride with me to ensure my tires were balanced correctly...An employee at Costco Tire even recommended Ians Tire & Auto Repair, which pretty much sold me on them;And so, Im recommending them to YOU, if you ever need tires or auto work done.

Great place for an oil change. These guys will totally take care of you. One time I went in because my engine light was on, then they turned it off t reset it and said nothing was wrong. Many other shops would have not only charged to do that but they would have found something wrong with your car to charge you even more. These are guys to trust

Called to make an appointment and they were able to fit me in on the same day. Cool dudes working there, fair prices, work was fast and quality. $110 to mount and balance the set of tires I brought in on my 99 miata. WAY better experience than Ive previously had at other local tire shops.

Ians Tire is my go-to place whenever I am having any car issues...be it with my tires, brakes, or anything else. Eric and his staff are honest, hard working, and if they arent able to help with the specific issue, they refer me to the right place. Ive also loved the two sets of tires Ive bought with them over the years which have lasted many years beyond the warranty. My newest set of tires make it feel like Im driving a new car! Hats off to these guys as well for always giving me the best prices they can. I cant recommend them highly enough!

My car developed a wobble, and I needed new tires. This establishment got me set up with four quality new tires plus alignment. My car handles so much better now, and Im safe on the road. Not the cheapest place in town, but they have superior service, workmanship, and only sell quality tires. I wont go anywhere else for tire/wheel service.

Woke up to a flat one morning, and instead of a repair, it was clear I needed a new tire. Actually, new tires since all of my tires were getting old and worn, not just the one that went flat. Called Ians, and not only did they have what I needed in stock, they slipped me in at the end of the day right before closing time. Cant beat same day service. They were fast, friendly, and the prices were more than fair. Highly recommend this local business.

The young man who helped me was sharp, efficient, and thorough. He spotted a small nail in my tire that I hadnt seen and took care of it with great efficiency. This is a very reliable company for excellent service. Eric, the manager or owner, is very nice and attentive to my questions. I highly recommend them, Ive been going there for 20 years.

Good service, quality work mostly, some days their just too busy and forget to do requested work. Best to make an appointment. Though they seem to try to accommodate all customers. Ive been around this town for decades and have been to most all the tire shop places. Eventually all the other places have become complacent and do medioaker work and overcharge not here not yet. Time will tell

Updated 6/22/2021: I had a water pump go out in my car the day after I went in for an oil change (It is not their fault, just happens to be a coincidence) They got me in when I cam back from a vacation and let me know how long It could be for them to look at it. After they looked at the problem they said they do not fix water pumps, but referred me to a mechanic that does. To me, I felt they hear my concern and incorporated it to communicate with their customer, and I had a great experience this time around!Came here for a 2:00pm reservation for oil change and Tire Rotation, with their website saying Award for Best Quick Oil Change in 2020, and I estimated it would take an hour to hour and half max for the oil change if they were busy, but it ended up taking 2 hours and 15 minutes of me sitting there. I was not told or notified it could take this long and their website did not say it would take this long. After Talking with the owner, he said they plan for oil changes to take a maximum of 2 and a half hours. If I knew this, I would have arranged a ride ( but I feel also unnecessary if you make a reservation). I am a bit irritated that this was not communicated either by them or their website when I made the reservation or during the entire time I was there.The owner was understanding and listened, and I got the oil change and tire rotation done, and it looked like it was done well.

I took my car into Ians for the first time and I had a great experience. Although they werent equipped to fix my particular issue, they diagnosed it for free and recommended me to a mechanic who could help. Both staff members I interacted with were polite, helpful, and honest even though they didnt make a dime by helping me out. I would definitely return.

Ians is a pretty regular winner for the Independents Best Tire Shop award -- and for good reason. Excellent prices, accessible hours, friendly and helpful staff. Plus, they recently fixed my tire for me for no charge even though I did not buy the tires there! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately these guys didnt bother to mention that they didnt do the wheel alignment, but they charged me for it anyway. I brought it back and they said they couldnt align it because the steering arms were loose. I had the steering arms replaced at another shop and had it aligned but it still wobbled so I brought it to another shop and had the wheels balanced... They were WAY off balance two weeks after install. Ians was very disappointing and wasted a lot of my time.

I come here all the time for tires, alignment, etc. They are fairly priced and try to give as many deals as possible on tires and services. Theyre the type of business who will give you the coupon price without even asking much less having the actual coupon. Always get me in and out quick with superb customer service. Could not recommend stronger; these guys are awesome 😊

Ive used Ians tires for many things, but last week, I needed a new tire and rim for my sons car, before he drove across the desert. We ordered it for pick up Saturday, but didnt make it there before they closed. It was a holiday weekend and my son was leaving Monday to drive back. Eric was leaving the parking lot when we were standing at the door. He went back into the shop, turned on the equipment, mounted the tire, gave it to us and said I could come in Tuesday and pay for it. What service!! And a fair price, too.

Someone I really trust when it comes to cars recommended going to Ians to replace my tires. He was on point. I called them in the morning, set an appointment 2pm, and I drove back home with new tires by 4pm. They told me about a current rebate deal with Continental tires, so I saved $70 right there. And they even applied the Axxess card deal so I saved another $20. Overall, awesome service, just like my friend had told me.

This place is a local gem - I had options with bigger chains like American Tire and Costco. Ians prices were competitive and their service impeccable. The experience end-to-end was impeccable. As long as Im in Santa Barbara - they will be my go-to tire shop.

They do a great job with tires and related stuff. Good prices, great service, local place. I bought four tires here at a price competitive with Costco, and also had a tire pressure sensor diagnosed and fixed at half the cost the dealership wanted to charge.

Came in today for a repair on my tire, they charged a fair price, $25, for removing a nail from my tire and repair, I had stopped at another place before and they wanted to charge $60 for the same service and ended up telling me they wouldn’t repair the tire so I’m happy I ended up here. Very friendly service highly recommend!

My go to place for tires. Found Ians Quite a ways back and been go there for years now. The level of service is far Above other similar shops. Worked in the auto industry for most of my life. Place i trust to work on my car, even my street/race Celica. All guys are Friendly and make you feel welcome. Cant recommend them enough. Have to check them out if need your car Serviced

I always use Ians Tire and Auto repair whenever I have an issue with my tires. They have helped me with my Pathfinder, my daughters car and my husbands Jaguar. Their people are always very professional, kind and courteous. The work is done correctly and on time. I highly recommend this group for your tire repair/replacement needs.

If you are looking to compare this store with American or Big Brand unfortunately they do not carry any tires below $100 at this store. They have a huge student demographic and having sold multiple vehicles to students myself all these UCSB Corollas are going to need tires and their drivers will not have $400 before installation and fees for them. I did appreciate the cordiality over the phone. This is a more a tip for others than a review.

I went to get my tire changed it being worn out. I asked for 235 45 17 inch. Employee said they have a new tire for 130$. He said the reason it was so high was because it was a performance tire. I didnt go through with the deal. went to another company only charged me 60$$ for a new tire. Will not do service with this company. Strongly recommend others to compare prices in other companys near by.Thank you

Ians Tires is a benefit to the business community and the public at large. It is so special, it should serve as a model for how to run a local successful auto-related business. These guys have been doing this for quite a long time, yet their friendly and honest help, plus the attention to detail that they deliver seems like they just recently opened. Go there and nowhere else for tires. People unaccustomed to dealing with mechanical issues will not be talked down to or feel dumb. Well we took our car in to IANS that Lexus said needed brakes and Ians said you have another 10k to go. No Charge. SO! we took in our old pick-em-up truck for maintenance and of course we are saving a ton there too. They dont just do tires. How often can you find quality and value locally? Well, heres one place!

Great Service at No Charge!!!My TPS showed a low tire. I called several places but they didnt have nitrogen, So I called Ians who offered the nitro and they waited for me after closing time...not only did he top off all my tires found the problem tire and didnt charge me a dime!
