I Need a Techie did a great job helping me after my hard drive crashed. They were able to retrieve more than 99% of my files. They also installed a new drive and doubled my PCs RAM. They are pleasant to work with, professional, and very knowledgeable. They give accurate cost estimates before they start the work. They even picked up and dropped off my PC at my home.I highly recommend I Need a Techie.

I had some trouble with my wifi and internet at home. Tried everything I could from restart, reset, factory resets of everything from modem to the wifi mesh multiple times but it just did not work.Called Sina from I need a techie. He was very responsive and agreed to come over the same day in the evening and was punctual.He quickly diagnosed the problem and did his magic to get all the things sorted out in an hour. He also fixed one of my older routers and I now have a redundancy built in at home w.r.t wifi networks.He also provided suggestions on the top wifi mesh products out there and explained which would work best for my home.It was a pleasure working with Sina and I will definitely recommend him.

They are very professional and responsive. They setup our IT under their Managed Service Provider that they can monitor and protect our entire computer system. Sina helped us when we were in such a jam. Brand new laptop got soaked and our son was in the middle of exams. He came to our home to assess and collect the laptop and provided a loaner while he took it to run diagnostics and repair. Our son, typical teenager, forgot to return the loaner immediately while we were out of town. Sina was immeasurably understanding and placid. He is highly communicative, patient, and comprehensive. Most efficient service. I was having issues with my hardware for my work computer and they were able to come onsite, troubleshoot, even take my device and monitor overnight to make sure things were running smoothly. Even after everything was fixed, they came back and fixed my printer. Extremely professional, very communicative, fast and functional! Great experience and highly recommend.

This business is HIGHLY recommended! We contacted Sina when we started experiencing network issues in our office. We were unable to perform basic operations like printing and accessing the internet. As a business, we needed this fixed fast and Sina was quick to come to the rescue! Not only did he fix the issues, but he was very thorough in explaining what had caused the problem to begin with. He made sure to check in with us regularly afterwards to confirm everything was still working properly. He is knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Sina at I Need a Techie and he was fantastic all the way through. He was extremely responsive and worked through a systems migration, moving data to a new computer and creating a long-term back-up and storage capability, all the while answering questions and designing simple and efficient solutions. As like other reviews, I have been scammed too. They had my MacBook for 2 months and had to follow up every couple of days to get a status and get it back. The MacBook is still unusable/unoperable even though I was charged for the repair and the business is not willing to return the money they have charged.

10 STARS! I’m so so grateful that I found Sina at I Need a Techie!! I broke my laptop and it was going to be in the repair shop for at least 7-10 biz days. As probably most of us can relate, I completely depend on my computer for work so definitely could not go that long just getting my on my phone! Initially, It was harder than I thought to find a laptop rental place in the East Bay, and I was starting to get a little frantic. But I finally found INAT via Google Maps, and Sina not only responded IMMEDIATELY to my query, but he was able to meet up with me at his office just a few hours later to get me set up with a MacBook. (As an aside, He’s in a lovely office building in Dublin and the receptionist is just about the loveliest person I’ve ever met!)Sina also provides first-class service while you have a rental laptop. I needed some very specific programs to get some work done (adobe indesign and acrobat pro). Sina was able to help me remotely to get those downloaded to the laptop. Even when we faced a little hurdle in getting them downloaded, he troubleshooted it until it was all figured out. I feel bad because I texted him a little later in the evening one night, thinking he’d just get back to me the next day, but NO, he responded immediately and helped me troubleshoot something until almost 10pm!Prices are very reasonable and payment was very simple (was able to use Venmo but I think he takes other forms of payment as well). My laptop ended up being in the shop for 3 weeks (!!!), but Sina has been nothing but gracious in extending the rental.THANK YOU, SINA!!

I was looking for a place to have my iMac Pro battery replaced without paying an arm and a leg. I google for computer repair near me while I was in the Dublin area and fortunately enough I found Sina from I need a techie. Not only he is a techie he replaced my battery, he fix my iMac Desktop, he literally built a new PC for my wife, come to my home and installed it, and now he is doing all my database backup along with the setup for a switch that will allow me to go from Apple to PC with a touch of a button. I cant say THANK YOU enough! Not only he is a great Techie but his ethics are a match to his skills. I had two laptops which I had to get fixed, where one of my laptops had a lot of viruses and the touch screen wasnt even working, and my other laptop was not turning because of a juice spill. I found I need a Techie on google and immediately called. Sina was a very helpful person, he provided me prices on phone and understood the problem really quickly. The best part was that Sina came home to pick and drop off the laptops, and I got a loaner laptop while he was fixing it, which was awesome! Now I have a laptop that just looks like brand new laptop which has been upgraded to Windows 11! I would recommend this place to all my friends, and I give it 10 stars.

I cannot recommend them enough for computer repair services! My laptop broke and I couldnt find anyone willing to try and fix the issue. I had a Dell laptop that needed a hard drive / Windows reinstall. I sent out a quick request to several computer repair services on yelp for a quick quote and I Need a Techie responded within 5 minutes. Sina was able to provide a quick quote after I quickly described the problem and he seemed like he knew what the issue was as opposed to some of the other servicers who said they wouldn’t be able to give me a quote unless I brought my laptop in. I didn’t have any time to waste so I appreciated the quick quote. He also mentioned that if he was not able to fix my problem he would only charge me $69 for the diagnosis fee. I met Sina and handed him my laptop. He said he’ll be able to get it back to me by the next day.The next day, Sina called me and said that the hard drive actually needed to be replaced. With my permission, he ordered the hard drive, and said he’ll get the computer repaired once it arrives. It took a few days for the hard drive to be delivered, but once it did, Sina fixed it within a few hours, and he delivered my repaired and practically brand new laptop to my home. Laptop works great and is really fast.Communication was great, service was quick (albeit slow delivery time for hard drive to arrive). Sina was very friendly and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend his services to anyone.

I first time I reached out to Sina was on a Saturday morning in early April to see if he was available to work on my desktop. I downloaded the night before a new Windows 10 update and it crashed my computer sending it to blue screen when it booted up. I spent all night trying to reinstall Windows and it didnt work. So I gave up and decided to reach out to I Need A Techie and spoke to Sina. He responded to my call and agreed to come out that afternoon to pick up my desktop to reinstall Windows 10 and also recover my files. A few days later he was able to fix my desktop and I was very happy he was able to recover my files and reinstall Windows. One week ago, I had another issue where the hard drive on the same desktop went bad. I called him up the same day and he came out and picked up my desktop to diagnose the issue and confirmed that I needed a new hard drive. He quoted me a reasonable price and explained to me his approach to repairing my desktop. I finally got it back a week later and it is now running great. I highly recommend this company and particularly Sina because of his professionalism and speediness, as well as, his thoroughness.

Update- Apart from having countless networking issues for the first few months after installation, we recently discovered that two desktops Sina purchased as part of our order were, in fact, refurbished models. Nowhere did our contract indicate that we would be receiving refurbished models- in fact, the models listed in our service agreement were priced at the same amount as new, un-refurbished models. This amounted to an additional $900 pocketed for I Need a Techie, in addition to the $2750 service fee we were charged to setup 3 desktops and configure wireless wi-fi.While he may excel at repairing computers (as indicated by all of his 5 star reviews) I would not recommend him for installation services. I recommend I Need A Tachie to everyone! One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time! I had issues with my iPad connecting to Wifi. When I tried to connect my iPad to Wifi, it would go into an inifitie reboot loop. I tried to fix it myself, by googling the problem to no avail. I finally decided to get professional help. A friend of mine referred I Need A Techie. I finally decided to bite the bullet and call for help, as I was despirate and needed my iPad fixed asap. First thing that impressed me was the quick response. I got to talk to an actual person right away! The person I talked to at I Need A Techie was Sina. What I loved about my experience was that Sina was very attentive. He listened very carefully to me going on and on about the issue, and fixes I had tried myself. I told Sina that ideally I wanted to avoid doing a factory reset. Sina reassured me that he would fix my iPad. He was very calm and calmed me down too, which I appreciated a lot! I was also very impressed with the speed of service! I sent my iPad in to I Need A Techie, it was fixed and back to me after 2 business days!!! Very impressive!!! He fixed the problem without doing a factory reset. All of my data was completely secure and it was all there! My wife spilled beer on my expensive gaming laptop. Fortunately we flipped it upside down in time to prevent damage to the motherboard and its components. That said beer still got everywhere and my keyboard and trackpad were not working properly. I knew it needed to be cleaned (also we have a cat that sheds a LOT, and a lot of it had gotten into the computer). We saw this place was well reviewed and gave them a call.I worked with Sina, he is very nice and professional. He drove to my house to both picked up and drop off my computer which was very convenient. It was $79 for the diagnostic but thats also waived if the computer needs repair (which mine did). The cleaning came out to $169 which is fair considering just how much cleaning had to be done (especially to the keyboard). Turnaround time was ~1 day which is very fast in my opinion. Computer is working as good as new, the keys (mechanical keyboard) are crisp again, and the trackpad works well.All in all, I was very happy to work with Sina and would very easily recommend him to anyone in need of a computer repair specialist.

I am an 84 yo writer who has been looking for a qualified tech for years. My computer suddenly froze up on me and I couldnt open anything, including my email. He came to my apartment in Rossmoor within an hour and spent two hours solving the multiple problems I presented to him, including those on my cell phone and two printers. The next day it got stuck again, and he spent another hour fixing it, at no charge as he cleaned up all the problems I had tried to solve over the years without any help on my own junk on the computer. I am a very frustrated parent of a middle schooler who constantly hacks into controls to give her access to all of the things she shouldn’t be on during online school. I’ve spent COUNTLESS hours, days, weeks, months setting up controls on all of our household devices for my 2 daughters. When I had to hand over the Pandora’s Chrome Book box, I had no clue where to begin with controls. I attempted Family Link with zero success.After going through her history, 6 weeks into school, I saw all of the social media she was on all day during school hours. So we googled tech companies and luckily came across this one. It was going to cost $85, but at this point, I did NOT care! I’d happily fork over the $$ to get this kid focused!On a Sat, Sina came to our home, picked up the laptop and installed Blocksite.He brought it back to us the next day and gave us the code. Well, it worked a little too good as he had blocked google meet, which she needed for school. He tried to walk me through adding and deleting sites from the app but for some reason, it was not working. He then came back that day, fixed it and gave my husband a quick tutorial on how to add/block sites.He was super friendly, professional, and helpful. I just wish I did it 6 weeks earlier.
