I had a surprise, crippling issue with my hard drive. I went to Travis same day, and he was able to power through, find fellow experts, and methodically fix the issue over a couple of weeks. He was extremely responsive and transparent about the pros/cons of each stage of the recovery. I’d go back to his company in an instant with any computer needs.

Great experience! Travis was knowledgeable, patient, and an overall pleasure to work with. He took extra time to answer my questions and give me tips to avoid the same problem in the future. Travis basically worked magic! Not only did he install a new hard drive, he transferred everything, programs, passwords, files making the transition absolutely seamless. My 7 year old computer is now lightning fast, like a new one.AND he did it within 24 hours! I highly recommend him!!!

I had a fantastic experience with “I Hate Computers”. Travis is an excellent computer repair person who is through, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.I had my 3 year old laptop crash on me, and upon reaching out to Travis he arranged to pick up my laptop and work with me because my laptop was under warranty and they wanted me to get an estimate for repairs. Travis was able to provide me with everything I need to satisfy them, and make my computer run even better than it ever has. A real pleasure to work with, and reasonable and fair in price. I highly recommend him.

Went on vacation for week and came home to a dead desktop computer. I brought it to Travis at I Hate Computers on a Sunday, and he got right on the task of fixing it. Turned out that both my hard drive and power supply were failing. Travis diagnosed and fixed the problems quickly (within a few days) and relatively inexpensively (these repairs are never cheap but this wasnt too bad). Travis is a top-notch computer technician and I highly recommend that anyone with computer problems should go to him to get their stuff fixed. Of course, I seriously hope I never have another computer failure, but if I ever do, Travis is the guy Im calling.

Travis was super responsive, extremely fast, and had everything back to me working one less than 5 hours. He definitely had a busy day as he fit me in between 3 other projects he was working on and had someone right after me pick up their work as well.I had a computer that broke on a work trip and the company I brought it to for the data recovery missed pulling the only thing I really needed off of it. I explained what I needed to find and Travis had the data pilled off of the old computer and transferred to the new one AND he had the old computer working - all within 5 hours! The guys in Vegas said it was going to take 5 days to get the old computer working.If you are looking for computer repair or any IT work, Travis is your man!

I had an issue with my Windows 10 that after spending 6 hours on the phone with Microsofts support, they were unable to fix it. I took it to I Hate Computers. Travis was very helpful and fixed it in the timeframe that he specified. He is polite and very professional without being overly formal. Plus when the problem turned out to be more complicated than the initial estimate (before seeing the issue), he called to get an okay before proceeding. I recommend you take your computer issues to Travis. I know I will definitely go back to Travis should I have any further issues. Although I hope I wont need to.

“I hate computers” did a fantastic job in retrieving all my over 20 year old photos from my broken hard drive! I am so grateful to be able to enjoy my sweet memories again through these family photos and lots of traveling photos with my late wife for 45 years who died of cancer seven years ago. My son and I know computers and we spent a lot of time trying to retrieve these photos unsuccessfully until we contact “I hate computers”! Good job guys and thanks again!

The distance learning has been very difficult for my son during this pandemic. I desperately needed to get a new computer where he could not access To YouTube. I went to several other places and they all said they could not help me.Travis had no problem at all blocking everything so that my son could actually get his work done for the first time since September. He is highly professional and not condescending to those of us who are not good with technology!

I started working from home about a year and a half ago and have always dreaded the possibility of needing a computer tech to make a house call, but this time I was stuck and needed help asap. I found ‘I Hate Computers’ through an online search. I like the fact that this is local company in my town with a brick & mortar location, and they have a lot of 5 star reviews. I called and left a message, got a response in about an hour and the house call appointment was a couple hours after. Travis arrived on time, was professional and friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. He isolated the issue, did some diagnostics and I was back to work in about a half hour. I will definitely use the folks at ‘I Hate Computers’ if I experience issues in the future.

I highly recommend I Hate Computers. I have used their services to fix my 17 Macbook Pro laptop that was running slow and needed a new screen replacement, they also recovered data from a couple old hard drives that I had been needing to backup. The head guy there, Travis, is very knowledgeable and gets the job done fast.

Great service. WAY better than bestbuy lol. If you have computer problems done even consider the geek squad. Go straight to my man Travis and he wont ship your computer out to corporate, he will just give you fair and efficient service. Would highly recommend!

My computer was having trouble booting up after I had moved it around, so i called Travis and he offered to come pick it up and take it back to his shop, the next day it was all fixed, and he also fixed the location of the hard drive in my pc to be better optimized, overall I would definitely recommend Travis for any of your computer repair needs
