Absolutely the best place in Los Angeles.. I spent three days coming around to find someone to help me fix my AC either I got outrageous quotes, or two weeks of Waiting… I called at noon. They got me in at three and I was out by six with major repairs. They were replacing tire compressor 100% recommend even if you have to go here.

Great service and pleasant staff. I called and got a voice message, I was called back right away. My service was scheduled right away for next day service. Ive been bringing my cars to Hye Tech Auto for many years now. The guys have always been honest with me. Pricing costs and labor costs are fair, and a lot of times better than most places Ive researched. John is informative and truly tries to educate me on whats going on with my car. As a woman, it was always a concern in the past, whether an auto shop was taking advantage of me, because it happened to me with other places. It feels good to know I no longer have to worry about that since Ive been coming here. Several guys have remained with John since I first started servicing my car with them, and this gives me peace of mind. This is the best mechanic we have ever found in the world! We travel throughout the country and our vehicles are pushed beyond normal limits. This facility has always been honest, respectful and dependable. They have made us feel welcome and have always gone beyond what would be expected to make us safe. I was able to call in and bring in my car early next morning for an oil change. Service was timely and staff was friendly. Also appreciate that they didn’t try to sell me on additional services that my dealer service tried to sell me on, plus I was able to ask a lot of questions and they were really good about answering them, and their service charges are more affordable and I appreciate their transparency. This is way over due!!! I can’t express enough how much John, Harry, and the hard working mechanics are amazing HONEST people! Choosing to purchase the warranty was still the second smartest thing I did! From start to finish, our experience at Hye Tech was nothing short of perfect. John was kind enough to fit us into his busy schedule with very little notice when we noticed my husbands work van was acting up. John and his team were very thorough in looking at everything and quickly gave us a run down on what needed to be done. He explained everything and even helped us prioritize which issues to take care of first, and which ones can wait for next time. Once we gave the go ahead, they worked diligently and professionally and were able to return the van to us the same day. Right now, the van is running so smooth and most importantly, safe! Their pricing is very fair and the amount of extra care they put into their work makes it easy to want to use them again. We were very happy with this recent experience and it’s safe to say we will only be using Hye Tech moving forward!

Ive taken my car here three times now and have had a great experience each time. On my most recent visit, I needed to have the check engine light looked at and 90k mile service. They also checked the breaks at my request. I got an update in the afternoon and they went through the recommended work. Everything was explained in terms that were easy to understand. Their pricing is fair and they had my car done by the end of the day.I feel like my car is in good hands when I leave it with them. Ill continue to bring my car to HYE TECH auto for service and repairs.

I appreciate that they were able to fix my brakes quickly today. At first I thought they were closing up. Most shops in the area close early or don’t open at all. These guys were there, just on lunch and they got me going pretty quick. They helped me feel better about driving my car. The brakes were making noise and I knew if I didn’t get them now I was going to be in trouble. I pushed it and they fixed it.

DAMAGED MY CAR: Brought my Nissan 350z 2005 for suspension work. Adding Tein Coilovers and A-arms. Vartan Yousoufian helped me, said he could get it all done in a couple days. Ended up taking a week, whic his fine but after I got it back the alignment was all off and car pulling to the right. I brought to another shop to take a look and they said instead of setting the camber in rear to -1.5 on both tires, Vartan set it at 0 and -2.5 . The front as well was not adjust properly. Also for the height, the pic below is after I had the set perfectly by a different company. Vartan set it 1.5 above the wheel on left front and 2 on back left. In other words, not even. When I brought to other repair shop they fixed it, and when i saw the job they did when installing there appeared to have damage from getting the A arms and coilovers in.I brought this up to Vartan, he denied everything, maintained that he did it perfect.Just easier to get it fixed elsewhere, which I did.Would NOT use HYE Tech Auto Repair.

Turned out to be the water pump which they took care of and a few other things they noticed needed attention. They also informed me of other items that would need attention in the near future. I live apparently 15 minutes from the Hye-Tech Auto Repair Shop. I own a 2003 Hyundai Sonata with almost 500,000 miles. I have taken my car to them several times for repairs. They have always gave me a vehicle repair quote prior to doing the service. For the work that has been done, the price is fair. I’ve been going to John at Hye Tech for years. Anytime I have any questions, concerns, or problems with my car, he and his team are always able to take my walk in and diagnose my problem in no time. I’ve had both minor maintenance and large repairs done over the years. They are very communicative, always keeping you in the loop on the status of your vehicle and the anticipated price of the job. I’ve never waited more than a couple days for even the most intensive repair. Unlike other shops they didn’t try to upswell any unnecessary services. Hye Tech did a very professional job changing my alternator. I’m so happy to have found an honest shop! I’m new to California and I needed my A/C fixed on my van. John and his team found a whole host of other problems with the vehicle, in addition to major issues with the A/C. Instead of taking all my money they told me straight up that it wasn’t worth the investment and I’d be better off selling it and looking for a better car. I finally got rid of the car a few months later and today I brought my new car in for some minor things. The Owner, John, is honest and knowledgeable. I have been bringing my vehicle here for years and they always do amazing work in good time. All the mechanics I have talked to are terrific, very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to discuss your vehicle with you. The new mechanic, Andrew, took the time to go through my vehicle repairs with me and provided details on future modifications/repairs I could do. This do works well with Carmax warranty. They also provide transportation to local car rental locations. Getting a vehicle worked on is usually a stressful process, but this place makes it much less stressful.

I had a coolant leak and didn’t want to continue driving it leaking in this heat. John assisted me and was ableTo locate the leak from that was coming from the water pump and radiator. I also had a engine vibration and they found that the motor mounts were bad. Took care of my needed repairs in a reasonable time at a reasonable price. I needed brakes on my 2018 Mini Countryman S. I called on a Monday and spoke with Harry, he was very helpful and informative and advised me that he could get it done the very next day. He also researched the price on parts and called the warehouse to ensure the pricing was correct. He had prices for original and after market.He was very knowledgeable on parts and the work that needed to be completed. I kept getting the runaround from other shops near by and was told that I need new disk rotors. When I mentioned the mileage to Harry, he immediately said I would most likely not need new rotors because of the low mileage but would still like to check them and make sure.He was right, new rotors were not needed.He quoted me a reasonable price and wasnt wishy washy trying to get me on this or that etc. He was start forward.Its a family run business and that alone speaks volumes.From the initial call, to the repair and the final pick up of my vehicle it was a great experience and very professional. I took my car to pepboys in Rowling heights on Colima, just a simple spark service. The car never had any misfires on previously. Come out with all four cylinders were missing firing. I had to buy 3 sets of coils, 3 sets of spark plugs, some fuel injectors, and even lower milage used engine. I took it to 3 shops, did it a wet/ dry compression test. Found my original motor only had 60 psi on cylinder 4. Long story short, hye shop took me in. Discovering the actually problem was one of the wires got pulled too hard that it actually pulled it out from the ecu. They showed me kindness and love like no other shop has. Lifetime customer. What motivates me most to drive to Covina from Diamond Bar when there are plenty of closer auto shops? Trust. I cannot say that about most of the garages and mechanics that I have taken my car to in years past. Simple honesty goes a looooong way. Also, in the recent present, I have been sending my mother to Hye Tech. They have always been very respectful, and helpful to her. A few weeks ago, when I was out of town and unable to help her, my mother needed some repairs on her car. One of the mechanics, Javier, drove her back home to Diamond Bar. On the way, she got the route home mixed up a bit and what is usually a 15-20 minute drive took them over an hour. There was never any complaints, and now I cannot take my mother with me to drop off mine, or my wifes car, without her having to head toward the garage so that she can chat with her friend Javier. Nice people, good service, and honesty. What more do you want from your auto shop?

I went to have my headlights replaced and they charged me 190 for something they couldnt even do the headlights didnt fit. I asked why they didnt compare it before trying to install them they claimed they cant tell until they are already on the car. I was referred to Hye Tech Auto by a friend when my car broke down. I have always been very skeptical when it comes to auto repair shops. John, the owner, told me to bring the car in to check it out. When I arrived he was talking to an elderly couple who were satisfied with the price and work done on their car. I didn’t want to be nosey but I did hear John, the owner, talk about how he has just started up his business and wanted customers feel like family. “Come by this weekend and we’ll have a Bar-B-Q here on the lot”, is what he told them. I know it sounds kind of cheesy but that made me feel more at ease. I took my car in because it would shake when I stepped on the gas pedal. Within minutes he had my car hooked up to a machine and figured out the problem. He showed me what the machine read was wrong, showed me the actual part on the car, and showed/gave me the part he replaced (all without ever asking). He told me to come back in a few hours and after changing a few parts my car was running better than before. He also went above and beyond by changing a couple that needed to be changed. John and his mechanics were very professional. He did a great job, didn’t try to get me to fix something else that wasn’t needed at the time but said to keep an eye out for other future problems. I was amazed with how I was treated. He even called a few days later to check how the car was running. Never have I had a mechanic/owner do that for me. If you are reading this and looking for a place to bring your car... look no further.. I started going to John because of reviews I had read.. and they all praised him to an amazing degree.. Thats what I am doing now..because they ARE that good there.. I have never had a problem and I have been to Hye Tech a few times... he has kept my 2003 Ford Focus with 120,000 miles on it going like clockwork .. Im hoping to be bringing it to John for at least another 80,000.. come on John.. I know we can do itUPDATE: Used John and his guys until I sold my 2003 focus with 160,000 miles on it... the last hundred miles were helped by Hy-tech Auto.. they kept that car running like a dream.. I just bought a new car that has warranty until 36,000 and then extended until 100,000 so I know from 36,000 to as long as this car will run I will be going to John... very trustworthy place.. great mechanics and fair to deal with.. I have never had any issue with John... by far the best Mechanics shop aroundJust visited again today 6/23/23This place is always amazing, highly recommended HyeRech
