These guys are absolutely awesome! Ive used them 2 times -- once in March 2022 to get my prius battery fixed, then once again in January 2023 to get my prius battery replaced (with a refurbished battery).Both times, they have been able to take my car in very quickly (same day) and the turnaround time has been speedy too -- it only took them a day to replace my whole battery.Faraj also hooked me up -- gave me a big discount for being a repeat customer and agreed to price match another auto shop for a catalytic converter cage!He does an excellent job of explaining the process for repairs too -- I genuinely felt like talking to him increased my knowledge of Priuses tenfold!Cannot recommend them enough! If you need anything Prius related, these are your guys.

I got my car towed over to them around 4:30 pm, and they got me set up right away. Took my car and fixed my Prius Hybrid Battery, changed my blades on the windshield wipers, fixed my headlights and buffed my headlights and made them look brand new. I was on the road by 7:45 pm. Same day service, and made me feel like family. They were all so kind and took extra good care of me. I highly recommend them for your car needs. I will be going back in the future. What sets these folks apart from most mechanics, is that they are super friendly, caring, human beings, with good communication skills.Ive lived in San Francisco or Oakland, and took my 2007 Prius to every mechanic with significant Prius experience (4 shops). 2 of them have horrible customer service, and charged me for services I later realized I didnt need, 1 is great but way more expensive than any other shop around, and the final one is pretty great, but they dont let you speak directly to the mechanics *at all* and they are often booked weeks out. So, I saw these reviews, and decided it was worth driving over an hour each way. And Im glad I did. They got me in in just a few days, were efficient, competent, affordable, and had great communication.Seeing how they run their business first hand, I will not hesitate to make the trip again when I need service again.

I’ve had my battery worked on here a few times since I bought an older Prius a few years ago. So I thought I should write a review! Adam is great! He’s a super nice and calm person to talk to. He’s very helpful in diagnosing battery issues and giving advice. I live in Santa Cruz and getting my car over the mountain with the hybrid battery disabled was difficult, so having the mobile repair option made this a lot less stressful this time. They do charge extra for mobile repair and prefer you bring your car to the shop if possible. But depending on your situation, it might be worth it. And lastly, I think they have the best prices for hybrid batteries in this area!

Had my camshaft position sensor replaced and camshaft position sensor circuit connector replaced as well. Faraj tried his best to explain what steps to fix the issue myself without taking it to him. After being unsuccessful I towed vehicle to his shop, he was able to diagnose issue and fix it. Had my vehicle for a few days but kept in constant communication with him. He is a real honest guy and you can tell his team works really hard to provide the best service and to get you back on the road.

Faraj and Alias are very professional. They will make sure you are satisfied with the service you require. I have an ‘07 Prius and needed the touchscreen and dashboard electrical worked on. Very pleased to know how well these guys took care of my problem and now I can use my A/C unit and see my odometer.I highly recommend coming here first before any other mechanic/dealership for any hybrid issue.

Both Adam and Faraj provided great recommendation and service. Faraj made sure to understand my repair needs and provided options and recommendation to repair my prius battery cost effectively. First time customer, Faraj & Adam were very helpful, professional and easy to work with. They got my 2010 Prius back on the road quickly after thieves cut out my cat and they worked directly with insurance company to make things easier for me.They went above and beyond by also providing a cat shield as part of the full cat replacement. Im a new Prius owner(of an older Prius) so Ill definitely go back when I need additional repairs/maintenance. Highly recommend !!!

I would like to take a moment and say Thank you to Faraj and his son for the amazing job they did on my 2008 Prius. From the moment I called and described the problem with a leak, Faraj knew exactly what to look at and talked about all the possible outcomes on the phone. When I brought the car in I was met right away and helped. Hands down the best customer service I have received in years. After looking at the car they called and sent pictures and let me know exactly when it would be finished. 5 stars is not enough for the amazing team. Please give these guys a call.

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Adam and the team at this amazing shop from the moment I spoke to them on the phone I knew my car was in good hands. Thus by far the best service I’ve ever received from any auto repair business. I brought in a 2016 Toyota Prius with 228k miles on it the team had never seen a Prius this new with that many miles in it. However I was in need of a total engine replacement. Adam and his team of experts made me feel at ease and explained the process from start to finish. The job was completed in ample time way faster than I expected there were no surprises everything was done so In an efficient manner offering transparency from start to finish. 5 starts is not enough these guys are amazing. I drove 110 miles one way to meet with these guys having my car towed in and if I had to do it all over again I would without any hesitation. Hand down the best Prius service in the bay area! Adam and buddy was super nice and super friendly. I blew the engine due to not having enough oil in the tank. They replaced the entire engine and transmission, now the car runs like new. Adam also offered to fix my stuck hood for free (other stores outside could of charged me hundreds of dollars easily). Dont hesitate to contact them if youre having problems with your PRIUS!

Faraj, his son and Adam are very nice and accommodating. I drove my Prius there yesterday 9/28/21 from Salinas (nobody in this area fixed HV batteries) and was expecting to pick it up the next day. I went and ate nearby while waiting for my ride to pick me up. I received a call from them as I was about to leave expecting to hear bad news about my car, but they had in fact finished replacing the cells in my battery within a few hours. The car ran amazingly on my way home, and definitely recommend them for your hybrid cars. I definitely will be back for future service on my 2004 Prius. Thanks for bringing my car back to life. And they got a cool cat!

Faraj, was amazing.I drop my car around 12:00pm and by 6:00pm the same day, I got a call from him that my toyota Peius 08 was ready.He was able to refurbish my battery the same day with a very affordable price.Hes customer service was out of the box .I will 100% recommend Faraj if you experience any issue with the battery of your Prius.

Today I went by the Hybrid Experts location in Santa Clara to get a quote. The gentleman that took care of me provided me with the quote that I requested, and went beyond that! He provided me valid guidance as to whats needed (vs the add-ons from the leadership) and tapped up my Prius cooling system fluids, since the dealer did not tapped the fluids ( I just picked my car from maintenance at the dealership )In the past, I brought my car to this shop to put the catalytic converter guard, and the experience was excellent. I plan to have my car serviced here for the required maintenance on my Prius, instead of going to the leadership.Based on my past experience and todays experience, the staff at Hybrid Experts are awesome!

If you want a quick takeaway of my review without reading the whole thing, heres what Ill say...if you have a Prius that you love and want to keep (regardless of its resale value) and the hybrid battery needs some love, look no further and call Faraj, Adam and/or EZ! Most honest, transparent, fair and friendly folks Ive worked within the auto industry!The auto repair industry has a bad rep, rightfully so, for things including folks upselling you stuff you dont need, auto shops creating problems you didnt know you had, absurd labor charges in the Bay Area, dishonest, non-transparent in the parts they use, and the list can go on.I bought my 2006 Prius used when it had ~65K miles. I absolutely LOVE my car and take very good care of it and the car has served me extremely well. In the fall of 2018, at ~100K mile-mark, I had my first experience of hybrid battery failure. My mechanic quoted me upwards of $4K to replace it with a new Toyota battery pack. No way I was spending more on a battery pack than what the car is worth, but I also wasnt ready to let go of my Prius just yet. Upon some research, I came across Farajs listing with fantastic reviews and decided to give it a go.Faraj was prompt in his communication, offered to come to my place and fix my battery. He even offered me two options 1) replace the damaged cells on my original battery 2) put a refurbished battery from another Prius but with higher mileage. I leaned on Farajs expertise -since my Prius had low miles for a 2006, he suggested I replace just the damaged cells on my original battery, so we went that route. That shows the honesty and transparency, which I value very much. Through small talks over snacks and Indian chai, we had some great small conversations and quickly established a bond.Fast forward a few months, summer of 2019, I needed to get an oil change and my Prius smogged. By then, Faraj had got a physical space and suggested I check out the mechanic adjacent to his shop, so I decided to give it a go. Not only did I get my work done at the mechanic he referred (Shan Auto Repair for those looking for a good/reasonable mechanic) but Faraj even covered an oil change at his expense! That simply shows how genuine of a person he is!I wish I knew more folks who owned a Prius, so I can give them a heads up should a hybrid issue arise, about Farajs business. Not only is he an honest and hard-working, so is his team! Through him, I found another mechanic whom I go to now regularly for my other stuff.Keep continuing the great work! Only if all businesses operated with same ethics and business model, sigh.

Highly recommend Prius Hybrid Battery of San Jose for Prius battery problems. We had the dreaded red triangle of death come on our trusty 2006 Prius, so we had our hybrid battery replaced here. I had to have my whole engine replaced due to a known manufacture defect with the head gasket- they were up front about the costs ( $4K cash) and repaired it within a week. They even helped me fix my headlight and offered a complimentary oil change a month later. Great service !

This place is amazing. I’ve never had a better experience with a repair shop. Not only are they all extremely knowledgeable, but they really care about what they do. They always give me options, especially since I have a tight budget, and they do an amazing job. Their work is done in a timely manner and I’ve never had to wait long for them to look at my car, let alone fix it. As a woman, I always feel repair shops see me coming and start trying to upsell me right away. Not this place! They’re always very honest and give me their honest opinions on what needs to get done and what can wait. If you’re looking for a place to take your Prius, I cannot recommend them enough!

If you are having any issues with your hybrid vehicle, do not hesitate to take it over to Adam. He was extremely helpful, he performed a free diagnostic and walked with me through every step of what the issue was & what would be our solution. All my engine lights were turned on on my dashboard and the car was no longer running. Adam and Farraj provided me with excellent customer service. They made sure to perform their best professional labor, my car was supposed to be ready in 3 days but they had my car ready by the next day! Adam went ahead and performed extra labor, he cleaned out my engine fan at no extra cost. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer, I couldn’t be in better hands.

I was extremely pleased with Faraj and his team at Prius Hybrid Battery of San Jose. I have a 2006 Prius and it was displaying the red triangle (hybrid battery failing indicator) on the dash. After some research I decided leave my car in the hands of Faraj, and I was not disappointed. At every step of the repair, Faraj demonstrated the utmost honesty, integrity, professionalism, and was extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and took great car of my car. He replaced my hybrid battery with a new aftermarket one that comes with a 3 year warranty and returned my car clean and ready to go. If you own any Prius, years between 2003 to 2015, you need to know about this place. Arguably the biggest factor to determine your cars long term value, efficiency, and life is the hybrid battery. If you go to Toyota, theyll ask you for thousands of dollars to replace a faulty battery and for many, this is the end of their cars life, and puts them in a cross roads to make a big financial decision. What many also dont know is that the battery doesnt have to be replaced entirely, but is made up of cells which make up the whole which can be individually replaced. These guys will do that with ease, and they can replace the entire battery pack also -- at a discounted, refurbished rate, OR a brand new battery pack, also at a discount compared to Toyota.Whatever the state of your battery pack, these are your guys. No insult, I equate them to the bangin hole in the wall restaurant that you wouldnt want to share because you dont want it to get too crowded. But I have to, since theyve treated me with the respect of family and have even come into the shop on their day off at one point!! Their existence as a business should be as mandatory as the dealership, if not more so.Call them up, Adam and Easy (thats his name, and hell make your life easy) are the bros who have got your back. You can rely on all of them. Even with the multiple times Ive done business with you guys, still feel like I owe you a big one.!

My Prius battery had been acting up for a few days with the energy level going up and down which got me really concerned. I researched online about this and found that the problem could be a faulty/near end of life battery. I looked for different quotes from different people online and even talked to them about what my options could be but to be honest they just sounded shady and where pushing hard to get a battery replaced without even testing or seeing my car. The last person to call was this business and a gentleman called Faraj. He offered to test the battery at no charge and give me a straight answer on what I needed. Once I arrived to his business he was very courteous, professional and kept his word as far as checking the health of my battery and giving me an honest opinion. It’s hard to find now a days people that are good, honest and reliable. I also appreciated the way he spent time explaining to me what a drained battery looks like and all the help he provided. If you are thinking about getting your battery tested, fixed or replaced then Faraj is your guy. I highly recommend his business but first talk to him to see what your options are. Thanks again guys for you and your son’s help. You guys were great! Keep it up with your honest work and dedication.

So this is my second visit to the shop since my car was giving me death triangle signs so I thought it’s my hybrid battery problem so this guy Adam (ez) did the diagnostics and told me it’s not the battery its the problem with my engine oil it was low and due to that I was getting the death triangle signals I really respect his honesty towards his work he is the best person I’ve ever met in car repair industry had it been someone else would have definitely conned me on top of that I got lucky when I told him about my catalytic converter being stolen and he told me they do install catalytic shields and with no pressure sale I asked him to show the shield they install I must say it’s better than what you get from Toyota service center or after market and lot cheaper almost half the price I am uploading pictures for reference .Adam (ez) you rock bro keep doing great work with your honest ethics and you will go miles away in your life god bless you thanks again
