Had a really good experience coming here. The rooms are very clean and staff were very nice. Super easy to check in online and checking process was easy at the front desk. Facilities are very clean and have a decent size workout room. The views are also really nice when looking out towards the bay. Really close to the freeway and lots of shopping which is surprising how quiet it is inside even with all the life going on outside.

I just had one night in this hotel during my trip to San F. The check in process was smooth, and the service at front desk was great. However, around 12am, there were 4 ppl checked in the room beside me, and started their party with loud music and weeds smell. I was wake up immediately, and wished the party should be finished soon. Unfortunately, it didn’t until 1:30am, which I can’t hold it anymore. I went to downstairs around 1:40pm and told the front desk about it. The front desk and the security had no idea about it at all. Although they contacted the other room immediately, and the front desk asked me if I want to try again, I insisted to switch to another room. Finally, the room was switched, but I couldn’t go to sleep for the rest of night. With that being said, I changed my initial plan to extend my stay with this hotel for another 2 nights, and checked out next morning. The hotel overall is great, and the front desk is helpful and efficient, but I wish next time they could be more proactive to offer the solution to help the customer instead of “try it again”.

My husband and I stayed the night before leaving on Amtrak. I didnt mind the sound of trains, but I sleep with earplugs.The free breakfast was comprehensive. It was nice to have so many choices in protein, fruits, and carbs. It should satisfy everyone in your travel group.The room was extra comfy. They had great pillows and linens, and the shower pressure in the morning was terrific!I was grateful to see full-size shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel mounted to the shower wall. It reduces counter clutter and landfill trash.I highly recommend this place if you want a good nights rest before or after a train trip. We were easily able to walk to the station in the morning.

Our car was stolen the first night we stayed here. The hotel has no legal liability and it is the Bay Area but they were not helpful what so ever. The hotel has no gate, no ticket entry or exit, no cameras anywhere outside and no security patrolling during the hours that actually matter. The manager didn’t even reach out to us to make sure we were okay(and we were on a road trip from 8-hours away). We were just told there is nothing the hotel can do but we can try to file with the hotel insurance but it would take months to even see if they would offer us anything. Other than that the staff is friendly and work hard at their jobs.But the hotel has little to no safety for your property/belongings. And it’s ridiculous there is not 1 camera pointed on the outside of this hotel.

Very neat and tidy rooms, generously sized suites, and a very quick walk to the Amtrak Emeryville station. The included breakfast had excellent quality and variety, but it was packed to overflowing with patrons from the millisecond the doors opened. Quiet and restful inside even with the noise of the streets outside. Walking distance to stores and restaurants nearby. A great experience!

I say here for work regularly and it is an mazing hotel. The staff is very nice, the breakfast is amazing and it is close to where I need to be in the morning. There are so many amazing places to eat and drink without having to drive. I ALWAYS stay at Hyatt House when in the SF area.

I stayed at this location for a recent work conference.The hotel was decent and so was the room. My only complaint was that the hotel is right next to a busy rail line with Amtrak passing through regularly. My room was overlooking the rail line so it was a bit loud and rumbling at times, including the train horns. In addition, the bed was a bit too hard for my tastes. The location was a bit sketchy as well.There arent many eateries close by, especially by foot in the evening. Better to drive or order in.

This is always my go to hotel when visiting family in the area. The hotel is well kept and convenient to get to either airport. We stayed the weekend of April 19 so this review is a little late but I wanted to acknowledge that Marlena is a rock star

The place is clean and the service was good, however, the beds were rock solid and the pillows were flat which lead to a horrible nights sleep. The room was also located right next to a train station which was loud. Finally, my car was broken into along with a few others. The service was good and they vacuumed the glass and taped up the window. The man who cleaned up said that this is a daily occurrence and yet there was no security guard on the premises

This hotel was the worst Hyatt Hotel I ever stayed.The location was good for UC Berkeley visit but the room had a very loud machine noise from the ceiling all day and night (A/C was off), Maybe it was because the room was at highest floor (12 floor). Because of noise I went to talk to front desk lady if they can change my room. First of all she was not kind and not helpful. I felt like she did not have any intention to help. She said all rooms are fully booked, It was 2:00pm before check-in time, I guess if she wanted she could find any solution. I understand if they really can not find solution on my request, but when I asked to speak with supervisor she said there was no supervisor on duty. If I want to speak with supervisor I need to wait until next day which is my check out date. Because I really was not happy with her I asked her name, then she refused to give me her name.I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels before usually with good experiences but I dont recommend to stay at this hotel, specially at 12 floor.
