The HOC is a lifesaver. As a competitive endurance athlete I was constantly sore and struggling to recover. The HOC is a one-stop shop for all your recovery needs: ice chamber, compression, red light therapy, infrared sauna and more. I’ve been going here for over six years and I have gratefully been mostly injury free thanks to this place. Tim, the owner, really knows what he’s talking about and is an expert that still seeks new knowledge on bio hacking the body. I always leave feeling significantly better. Highly recommend for anyone needing recovery from sports, injury or chronic pain. A+ facility.

I have completed 2 series of contour light sessions and the results are fantastic. The staff at HOC does a terrific job and the treatment is comfortable and warm. I highly recommend these treatments to anyone who wants to take off a few inches or drop a pant size.

I have been coming to HOC for Contour Light treatments. After 6 sessions, I have lost almost 8 inches. I come in for the Contour Light - Body Sculpting. I have been enjoying the benefits of weight loss and so far, the loss of 19 inches. I still have several more visits and look forward to them. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I also love the infrared sauna.

I am very happy with coming to HOC, I love the Contour light I see it is working for me not only losing the extra inches but also I feel more relaxed and also my skinn is softer. I also tried the cryo chamber and the water massage and the vibrogenix is fantastic. All the staff are wonderful, you feel very comfortable with everyone. After having a lumbar anterior and posterior spine fusion I was left with extreme neuropathy from the nerve traction required during surgery. I knew it was going to be very difficult to and long process of recovery.The fusion was the best thing, except the leg pain and humming neuropathy was driving me crazy. I would say easily on a scale they were about a 6-8 irritation.I started PEMF treatments and it was amazing how after each treatment the humming was reduced. After 5 sessions the legs were significantly better and I wished I had begun this service sooner than a year after the surgery.I was beginning to think that I had reached my maximum healing but I was wrong. The PEMF accelerated my results and I now in comparison on a bad day they only get to about a 1-2 max. Thank you Tim for recommending this treatment.

I am very happy I came to this Wellness Center in Walnut Creek. I was suffering with my EMF symptoms. I used the Cryotherapy,Sauna, Redlight Therapy and I can tell it’s helping my balance all that negative energy.They have a nice team that really understood my symptoms. Hermes is very knowledgeable and helped me with choosing not only treatments but supplements.Eric made my appointment and was very courteous. And I met the owner and he also gave me great information for blocking emf on my phone and wifi at home.

My 82 year old dad was having TERRIBLE back pain- couldn’t walk. He “felt like 200 years old”. I recommended he come to the Health Optimization Center because I know how PHENOMENAL the owner, the employees, and the equipment are. In ONE DAY of Ashley working on him, he is 100% HEALED!!! 100%!!!I asked if he wanted me to make another appointment for him, and he replied that he doesn’t need another appointment 😍 At his appointment, he tried PEMF, Cryotherapy, Red Light Therapy, and the massage guns.He calls it “the miracle on Treat Boulevard”, and he’s absolutely right! The staff at Human Optimization Center has been absolutely amazing and helpful. The customer server experience is like none other. They have an array of services ranging from cryotherapy, compression therapy, red-light therapy to massage therapy. Its a one-stop shop for self care. The staff remembers me by name and greets me the moment I walk through the door. They have been instrumental in my healing process as I recover from a torn MCL. Lastly, the price is really reasonable. They offer an unlimited package and you can literally go in every day to get care.

The best place to go for athletes who want to maximize their potential and gain a big edge over their competition. Every since having my son come here for recovery he has been able to train about %50 harder, and noticed hes actually not sore before game days compared to how he used to be before this place. Hunter and Aaron also have been really helpful in helping my son with their personal training background. All the staff treat us like family every time. 100% Recommend to everybody I know.

Having suffered from a traumatic injury to my ankle, i was looking for some localized cryo to aid in my healing. I came across the Human Optimization Center and was excited to try some of their core services - including full body Cryo/red light therapy as well as compression and PEMF. I am incredibly thankful I found this place. The staff are knowledgeable, supportive, and extremely encouraging. Overall the facility has an impressive array of offerings and I think their core elite membership - allowing for daily visits - is incredibly well priced and worth the investment in my health. My family and I love going to the Human Optimization Center. The different therapies available help keep us all healthy and pain free. This place is life changing and the owner, Tim, is a real inspiration. His story just lets you know just how wrong the traditional medical model gets things. There are just so many things to do there that help with everything from pain management to weight loss and energy levels. I feel like a new person. I cant even exaggerate. Whats crazy though is the suggestion of the owner to add Baja Gold Sea Salt to all of my water is one of the most impactful. I have tried so many supplements and none of them really work as advertised. Adding the salt to my water has made my energy levels go through the roof. Its even helped me lose weight. I can not recommend this place enough.

Special shout outs to Heees, Aaron, Ashley, Tony, and Tim. The Cryo chamber has eradicated my minor aches and pains, the infrared and red light therapy is so good for your skin, and the compression therapy really helps with inflammation. You should really check out the additional services as well. The PEMF, contour lighting, and facials are all designed individually for each client according to their needs and desired. I used to do these services at other locations but they charge way too much money. Buying the products on the internet is even worse. But at HOC its super affordable to use every single health optimizing treatment created every day with their membership. I cant imagine not being a member especially at their rates. I came to HOC after doing over a year of doctors appts without any relief. I was experiencing bloating, fatigue and chronic pain. I could not get a diagnosis. I tried Cryo once and I looked for a place to go more often and I found HOC. I started here with daily Cryo and then moved in to many other services they provide. I asked to meet the owner TIm and he introduced me to an anti inflammatory diet, proper clean water, and recommended many other services. I have been here two years and have done contour lighting, self healing protocol and infra red sauna. I highly recommend HOC ! I have been wanting to try different recovery protocols for a while and HOC in Walnut Creek was a great place to stop to hit them all. I tried Cryotherapy, Normatec and Red light therapy. I left with my body feeling relieved of the stiffness I walked in with and a sense of mental ease like this was just what my body needed. Plus the staff are incredibly friendly and clearly care about supporting their clients wellness needs in whatever way makes sense for their lifestyle. Going to Human Optimization Center has become a family affair! I first started going because of the continuous aches and pains my body felt and found that after trying cryotherapy, I was able to alleviate the daily pain my body was experiencing. Soon after my husband tried it for his needs and found the same success I had. Having a athletic teenage son, the theragun treatments and red light therapy were critical in conditioning his body and helped with our boys growing pains. My husband and I have also tried the Contour Light treatments. I lost 17lbs and got back to my pre-pregnancy weight, while my husband dropped 25lbs and back to his college weight. I bought a 8 session package to lose inches around my belly. It didn’t work and was such a waste of money. The staff are nice but the program doesn’t work and they said sorry it didn’t work . At the beginning the contract says no guarantee and no refund. Do not recommend this program.

I LOVE the Human Optimization Center and I try to make it part of my self care routine each week! I came in a year and a half ago suffering form all sorts of stress related issues from migraines, joint pain, insomnia and severe fatigue. I started going to treatments 3 times a week and could notice improvement right away. The staff all know me by name and really care about my health and well being, that is a big motivation to keep me coming back. I feel like for the services I receive, the place is very reasonably priced. Michelle, with the cryoskin treatments, is exceptional. She is a healer and always makes me feel well cared for. I can see and feel the results from just the 5 treatments that I had with her (and am hoping to get more!) Did you know that many health issues and injuries are due to inflammation in our bodies? Instead of taking ibuprofen, prescribed pain meds, any pharmaceuticals or maybe even having surgery, I can’t encourage you enough to give HOC a try. I went to HOC over ten months ago in desperate need of help relating to a Covid vaccine injury and long Covid. I started doing PEMF, red light therapy, cryotherapy, red light sauna and a variety of other treatments. I’m not 100% better, but I’m much better than I was ten months ago. A few months ago I injured my shoulder doing aqua fitness. I couldn’t even lift my arm up. I did PEMF and direct red light therapy and the next day it was like nothing ever happened!! In addition to the variety of anti-inflammation devices for treatment, the owner, Tim, has a wealth of knowledge and can suggest supplements that may be helpful for your particular ailment. 5/5 staff is very welcoming- remembering you by name each time you come in. The facility is always very clean. It can get a bit packed at times but you have set reservations to come in so it isnt too hectic. Have seen improvements with energy, body, and health from the services they have.

I joined US Cryotherapy about a year ago, hoping to find treatments to help my arthritis and chronic pain in my back & hips. The treatment modalities have really helped me. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very interested in helping their clients deal with various aches and pains. The facility is new, very bright & clean with convenient street parking.Now that its winter, it might seem counter-intuitive to seek out the freezing temperature in the cryo chamber, but its a great way to get get moving & energized if you are feeling sluggish and lazy!

I love it. The atmosphere was laid back. The staff were amazingly friendly and understanding. I suffer from osteoarthritis and bone on bone on my right knee. I was in that chamber moving around with no pain. Not to mention that was feeling a bit under the weather. Coming out of the chamber, I felt like a new me and my stuffy head/congestion went away. It wasnt until I returned home that I felt congested again. The red room was great....if only there was one in San Mateo County or close to work in Alameda County.

My name is Jesse and I’d suffered with insomnia for years and was a slave to Big Pharma until I stumbled upon an oasis in the desert called Human Optimization Center. I sell an Organic, Ozone infused product line for the skin (purely prana) and went in to the center to see if they’d want to carry it. Once I walked in I was so curious as to what was going on and met with the owner, Tim. He explained the various healing modalities his center offered and I was sold. From my very first experience with the Cryotherapy Chamber I was hooked! I went on a daily basis determined to come off of very addictive sleep meds. I’d use the Cryotherapy Chamber, The Infrared Sauna and on occasion PEMF. After just two short months I was completely off of my meds and sleeping through the night. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and friendly. I immediately felt at home and looked forward to my daily visits. I’d also met privately with Tim a few times to go over the best protocol for me as well as seeking out nutritional advice. Went in with a pulled hip flexor and Jenica had welcomed me in and helped me around and gave me a tour of the place and it’s really cool. She treated my spot where the muscle was tore and even stepped into the cold chamber with me, it was a really good experience and I’d recommend this place to any athlete or person that just needs recovery or wants to make their joint or muscles stronger. Go see Jenica if you do go she’ll definitely make you feel at home

My second visit back from the East Coast did NOT Disappoint!The new staff members David, Caitlin, Justin & Sam were on the floor guiding me to my next form of treatment at every turn to ensure my body healing & Rejuvenation were up to par.The GM Zach was Jack of all Trades from fixing technical issues to greeting people at the door and not missing a beat to help existing customers get treatment on the floor...incredible ability to multitask!My true TREAT this time was working with Miccelle on different areas of my body and face with Cryoskin ! :-)Miccelle was warm, knowledgeable, efficient and informed me every step of the way what she was doing and how the treatment was working. I recommend Cryoskin for anyone interested in seeing immediate results in physique shaping and youthful renewed skin!!It was great to see my favorite staff member from my last visit, Gabby, taking on new roles of Sales & Marketing, while still delivering excellent care to her clients. Always walk out feeling so much better. I have really tight shoulders and back so go in for the theragun treatment weekly. The staff is amazing and really know what they are doing! HOC has helped me to lose 4 inches from my waist, it has helped with inflammation and my skin glows! Tammie at HOC is the BEST thing about HOC. Tammie has helped me with spot cryo on my waist which has jumpstarted me to get back to my pre-covid weight. If you are thinking about trying or joining HOC, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed. This place has literally changed my life. I suffer from bilateral osteoarthritis in my knees. After using the cryo-chamber, normatec and red light therapy several times per week, I have noticed a decrease in inflammation and pain. The staff is so helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Sam, Gabby, Zach, Joseph, Katelyn (sp?), David and the owner Tim is great!! I know I forgot a few of the Staff, but am still learning all their names. Everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting is great!!!!I have also done the cryoskin with Miccelle, and after 2 treatments have noticed definite improvements in my abdominal area and facial/neck. My abdominal area is smoother and flatter, and my face appears thinner with less appearance of jowls and decrease of fine lines and wrinkles. I am so looking forward for my next appointment and seeing the results! Easily 5 stars! The entire staff is warm and helpful but Michelle who does Cryoskin is theeee best! She is extremely knowledgeable and takes her time to give you honest information concerning the treatment. I am on my 5th session and have very noticeable results. As with anything you will get best results if you follow Michelle’s advice and drink water and exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. I look forward to my appointments with her she is the sweetest and just has a beautiful personality! If you are serious about your health this is the place to be! I recently under went cervical spinal disc replacement (Emergency surgery on spinal cord at the neck). It has been an extremely frustrating recovery to say the least. I am currently doing 2 PT sessions a week and the gains have been extremely small...until 6 weeks ago, when I started treatment at HOC. I came to HOC with no expectations, just simply another avenue of treatment.When I arrived I was greeted by the owner himself Tim Fitzgerald. Tim took me to his office to discuss, ore than I anticipated. The guy is a treasure chest of Knowledge and unbelievable information regarding new age treatments for recovery and injury. I have now been visiting for 6 weeks 1-2 times weekly and commuting all the way from SF due to the unbelievable results/gains I have been experiencing. Zach and the US Cryo team were amazing when I came in with my team. He gave us an overview of all of the treatments available and the benefits associated with each service. I lost a little over 5 inches in one treatment! Five and a quarter inches to be specific. They measured upper, middle and lower belly and this loss was a combination of those three areas. In addition, I have arthritis in my body and this contour light made a big difference in the pain, especially in my hands, hips and knees. I am 75 years old and this therapy will help me age in a healthy and pain free way that few other therapies have done, and no drugs!

I had my PNOE test done with Owen this past weekend and it was a great experience. He opened up the facility early to help me out with my scheduling error, which was extremely helpful. And after the test, with my data being sent to a third party, he reached out to check in and see if I had received my results in a timely manner. Overall, my experience at the Human Optimization Center was top notch and I definitely plan to visit the facility again for future training and recovery sessions.

I had a wonderful experience here. I run 4-5 times a week and was starting to feel pretty beat up. Legs were constantly sore and aching. After one visit here, I felt like a million bucks on my run the next day. Everything, especially my legs, felt fresh. I did a number of services but especially liked the Cryo and the Norma-Tec! Staff was very helpful and informative.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Although I have tried a few different things here, I mostly only utilize their sauna for an hour session ( when my schedule permits) for my me time. Unlike gyms, your session is only for your use and not shared with others.

I tried USCryoTherapy for the first time and I loved it! I suffer from chronic neck, shoulder and low back pain and I typically react very poorly if I use cold such as an ice pack but I had heard about cryo and felt I should give it a go! USCryotherapy was a whole different kind of cold, it is on a whole other level! The way your body drops in temp sends your body into a hyperdrive state and the best way I can describe it was a true runners high from only 2 mins in the Cryo Chamber! Not only did I feel significantly better, I SLEPT better! I cannot wait to go back! Oh and that’s only one of their treatments... they offer a number of awesome therapies! Their staff welcomes you with a smile, their facility is very clean and if you need to drop in for a therapy and you don’t have the proper attire... don’t worry they’ve got you covered, pun intended! I’m a big believer in the PEMF therapy at the HOC. It has helped me with so many things in my recovery such as muscle recovery, joint paint, and injuries. It basically charges the cells by giving them enough voltage to reproduce new ones and speed up the body’s process of healing or recovery. It also helps with depression and anxiety. I have neuropathy in my toes from chemo treatments ten years ago. I also stand quite a lot in some of the work that I do. As a result, my feet and legs ache most of the time. I went to US Cryotherapy and tried the red light room, the hydro massge bed and, most importantly, the normatic compression. I had expected that I would feel relaxed and refreshed but I was amazed that after the normatic compression, I felt no aches or pains in my legs or feet at all. Real results in a short time!
