Enjoyed a good meal at Hugos. Service was very nice, great food. I found the carrots in the brisket stew a little too soft and overly salty but otherwise everything was great. It wasnt too busy and we were seated right away on Easter Sunday late lunch.

I remember my first visit years ago to be quite memorable. Cant remember what I ordered, which is a bummer, but was eager to come back. This time ordered an omelet. Beautiful presentation, but lacked flavor. My friend raved about her dish so may need to try that next time.

Had some people in from out of town, and the first place we went to didn’t work out. THANK GOODNESS I remembered Hugo’s was right around the corner. My friends both had fried chicken, and I had the pan-smeared salmon (one of the best I’ve ever had). The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The whole experience was clean, cozy, and we couldn’t have left happier!

The best way to describe this place is okay with pricey food. It wasnt delicious, but it wasnt horrible. Probably the best part was the French fries, iced coffee, and chai latte.Regarding my burger, the goat cheese is all you tasted. Regarding the tres tacos which was actually a salmon burrito, the salmon was tasteless.This place deserves three stars due to the great service we received. The lady took care of us pretty well. Other than that the food was meh.

Gone twice now and definitely my fave brunch spot in the valley!! So many gluten free (and vegan options). Absolutely delicious, amazing, fast service and a cozy atmosphere. I love the eggs Benedict on potato pancakes, super flavorful and filling.

Great place for every time of the day. Their food is very delicious. Most of them are already healthy options. They have breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner.Patio outside is heated and pet friendly. It’s pretty sunny outside but great for a cold day. They welcomed dogs really well. The table near me had their furry friend fed too.Parking was a bit limited but I went around 11am and found it’s pretty easy to find. When I leave, cara had to wait around 5-10 minutes for the space. Right off 101 freeway then turn right and sharp left.

Great vegan options and super friendly staff!!!Molly and her staff at Hugos are absolutely delightful. I always have great, quick service there, even through the pandemic. Yesterday I tried the vegan Mac n cheese and it was delicious! Crispy onions with mushrooms and peas on top gave it so much flavor and texture. The latte was so big I had to take it home to finish it. I love the taco stand too but this is a great place for a relaxing lunch with great vibes.

For more than twenty years, HUGOS RESTAURANT has provided, unique, wonderful meals supposed with excellent service.RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED, PARTICULARLY ON HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.Were a family of five with diverse dietary requirements. There are three carnivores (one with several allergies), a gluten-freer, and me, a vegan. Our familys table of choice is number nine. Its in the corner next to the window, with a view of the verandas gently flowing water-wall.Hugos expansive menu offers entrees from Mexico, Asia, Italy, and America. Many dishes can be modified to the diners requirement. (Hugos offers their eclectic menu at slightly more than moderate pricing.)Most selections are annotated with dietary information. Often, conventional, vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan versions of the same entree are offered. Many of the vegan meat analogs are made in Hugos kitchen. While there are differences, these alternative, meatless, comfort foods provide much of the taste, texture, and mouthfeel of the originals.Our waiter, Kevork asked, Do we have any food allergies? One of our family is allergic to seafood and pineapple. He recorded that information to inform the kitchen. Our meals arrived in about fifteen minutes.For me, a long time vegan, it is usually a toss-up between, the Chicken Sandwich, Tamale Plate, BLT, Club, or Ruben. Occasionally, I alternate with the Chunky Vegetable Salad, Almond pancakes, or Pasta. These comfort food presentations are ample, well plated, and delicious. (My wife skillfully borrows a sample from my plate, then a second, just to be sure.)Hugos desserts are unique and wonderful. Several, including the hot fudge sundae and Sticky Buns, are gluten-free and vegan. Always ask for an extra serving of the rich hot fudge. Its that good. My favorite, Sticky Buns, combines a melt-in-your-mouth texture with a crusty bottom. It is impossible to consume this pastry without cracking a smile. An Apple Sticky Bun version is now on the dessert menu. It is delicious. A single order is adequate for a table of four.Their servers are knowledgeable, easy-going, and considerate. Waiters, serving tables near us, furnish their customers with a similar level of courtesy. The bus staff is supportive. Hugos is managed with care.Both the dining room and an infrared heated, covered veranda seating are offered. Dining is also offered in a large, heated tent on their parking lot.Telephone, pickup, and internet orders are accepted. Delivery service is available.Hugos main entrance is from their free parking lot. A few steps or ramp allows easy access. Everything is wheelchair accessible, including the gender neutral bathrooms.

Great comfort Californian food near Universal City area. The staff is very courteous. We were there once for breakfast and the other time lunch take-out. For breakfast my wife got the herbal omelette with fruit bowl. I got the green tamales with egg & avocado along with fried rosemary potatoes. The potatoes were easily the best dish and it’s a must try at this restaurant. For the take out we got cauliflower pakora and Asian stir fry, both of them were excellent.

Hugos has a large menu with so many options to choose from! I appreciated that there were many vegetarian and vegan options, it seemed like almost every dish could be made to suit you. I tried the pesto sandwich with tofu on ciabatta. The tofu was a hefty piece so it was almost difficult to eat the sandwich without it falling out! There was about a 15 minute wait around 1 pm on a Saturday.

Excellent service, yummy food, tons of vegan options… BUT the feeling … the atmosphere just reminds you of a nursing home: Celine dion music, carpet on the floor, lights, pale colors, wooden tables, columns, the wall and chairs… bill though 65$ for two for cups of soup and mashed potatoes, yummy (and very greasy), cauliflower pakora, chillaquilles and beer and delicious turmeric latte. This is no place for romantic Saturday night dinners but totally a bday party or family reunion due to the versatile menu.Highlight a cosy outdoor seating with lights and of corse a colorful mural painting… which actually lures you with cool exterior and then disappoints you with the plain seating area.

Hugos is the go two for healthy eating hippy types. Its set up like a very traditional diner. Nothing special about the decor. Its the food and service that set this place apart. Beautiful custom blend teas. Low processed ingredients. Menu full of traditional dishes like pot roast but made in a more diet friendly way. Also plenty of vegan options. Essentially the libertard Dennys (Im one including long hair in a bun so its said with love) prices are shockingly reasonable rarely exceeding $30 and the menu is HUGE. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner options. Also service tends to lean towards young. hip and cool 😎 (If your into that type of thing)

I used to LOVE Hugos when I first became vegan. Its been two times in a row that my food was less than expected, kind of disappointing. However, other peoples food was great! Just to name some for your reference.Good food:Build your own spaghetti: Their marinara was really good. They make their own spaghetti. Its chewy and sauce well-absorbed.Tofu burger: this is based on my nephews comments. It tasted really well, especially the tofu was marinated so thoroughly.Vegan turkey meatloaf with gravy: its really delicious. I remember I have ordered this at least twice, and it never disappoints me!Cinnamon buns: super sweet. Its like churros roll up into a cinnamon bun. I love it!Bad:Tofu scramble: it was tasteless. Seriously. The cook simply put the tofu and veggies all together and thats it. No salt and pepper, no marinara, nothing!! It was plain and dry! Do not order this one if you were vegan.Tikka Masala bowl. Its kinda like a hint of Indian curry taste but not authentic at all! I was not impressed with the food.Other than that, the services was fantastic and food was served with great proportion.

Great service and environment. This meal was pretty underwhelming. I just left and I am still hungry. The mimosa and bacon was the highlight. The French toast had no soul. No toppings, no hot syrup, powdered sugar or fruit sauce. I thought the orange and currents would be one top with some form of sauce but they were just sadly placed to the side for decoration. I didn’t eat 80% of the meal. Maybe we should have chosen a lunch or dinner item.

Nice place with good and friendly service, but a little pricey. They have all day breakfast stuffs and some fusion menu. I spotted Cambodian bowl on their menu and decided to try it. The dish was lightly flavored kinda curry on top of rice. I didnt think there was anything Cambodian about the dish. Dont know why it was called that.

Hugos is a go-to favorite for breakfast for me. I have been many, many times and left very satisfied. On one or two occasions I have been disappointed because they varied how they cooked something that was good before or a dish was just weird (to me). I now stick with what I know I like there I think they are better at breakfast than dinner. They also have a large number of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and original dishes, enough to please any palate or anyones dietary restrictions.They also have free range turkey and beef burgers. They are good about substitutions and swaps. They are not perfect but they are really a good restaurant. I dont give 5 stars because very occasionally they have served me something that was not as wonderful asexpected. New note from Barbara: This review is very old. I did a new review which has not been posted. I got food poisoning the last time I was at Hugos Studio City and on another occasion there was mold in the syrup. They will probably not post this. I have reported them to the LA County Health Department.

I looove Hugos. Im vegan but many of my close friends and family members are not, and thats what makes Hugos so great! As soon as the waiter greets you at the table, he asks if you have any food restrictions. The menu is super clear about what is vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is homey, and they have breakfast foods later in the day (which is obviously the most important part). They also have some divine hot drinks like the cinnamon latte which is basically like a healthier warm horchata they also have a vedic latte which is like golden milk. I saw someone with some sort of a smoothie last time and I may need to change things up and get a cold drink next time! I especially loooove the Almond Energy Pancakes, the Go Green Frittata, the Cinnamon French Toast, and the Reuben. If Im being honest, thats all Ive even tried there, so I havent had anything that wasnt spectacular yet!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Buyer beware! I ordered food on their website and we picked up from the Studio City location. They charged my credit card twice and refused to help reverse the charge. They blamed it on Uber Eats even though I ordered through the Hugos website. The CEO (a guy named Bill) then called to harass and berate us. All for a charge of $30! Avoid this place - the food is mediocre and definitely not worth the hassle. Who wants to be harassed over a sticky bun? Ridiculous.

Came by to check out their vegan selection. Decided to try the Vegan Casarole with a side of zucchini since the waiter highly recommended it. Once it came out, I thought the presentation was fairly lacking. White on white on white. Some sort of chopped herbs like cilantro or parsley or whatever other kind of herb compliments the flavors just for a splash of color on top of the white cheese. I dove in for a taste of the casarole and was pleasantly surprised, it was delicious! Like so good I would eat it weekly! I never add salt to my food at restaurants, but the zucchini was mushy and very bland. Like they were boiled too long and thrown on the plate and thats it. No basic flavor, like garlic or even salt was used. For dessert they didnt really have much on the menu, but I did notice vegan boxed cookies on my way to the restroom and tried a box of moon pie cookies to go. Delicious! The servers were wonderful. Attentive and friendly. They were able to accommodate a variety of allergies. We ordered cauliflower pakora (delicious and comes with egg free ranch sauce), fried chicken, tacos, and chimichurri steak all gluten free. They have a dedicated vegan and gluten free fryer. The portions were generous. Everything hit it out of the park in terms of flavor. I appreciated they have an enclosed patio and also a outdoor covered patio.

The waiter left me alone for fifteen minutes after I said no to water even though I said Im going to get a hot beverage but want to look at the menu. When he returned I ordered tea. Then mom and my sister in law joined me and when we went to order breakfast i asked for the scrambled eggs with bacon and fruit. Cost $17. I said can they please add onions to my eggs and he said theres no way to put that I to his handheld computer. I said can I just get a side of onions and he said no. At that point I got mad and decided I couldnt believe for $17 plus The expensive tea I couldnt get onions. So I will never go there again. Clearly was not interested in actually trying to even ask the chef to add them or anything. Not happy with the service. The food was good but without any seasoning at all it was very bland and tasteless so will definitely not be going back there ever again. Too bad as the hostess was a darling blonde girl who was so kind and sweet.

Weve been coming here for years. The menu is very clearly marked with dietary information and they have a lot to offer. And the food is great. The Pasta Papa is absolutely fantastic. Theres a reason some restaurants outlast others. Hugos has been on my list for a while, first to just see why the taco stand catty corner to the restaurant was always buzzing with activity. Those tacos must be really good. I never made it there but tried the restaurant first. Mathew, our server, was professional and didnt rush us at all and did a great job. Our food was fantastic, with the salmon tacos and quinoa salad. The salad was loaded with substance and the salmon was cooked perfectly with a little crisp without being dry. Wine flights were super fun and a great way to try the various choices on the menu. Parking was OK, but if you have a large vehicle, it may be challenging in their lot. Overall, great restaurant indeed.

Ive supported it so many times and will continue to get it. All of the food is delicious the club with tofu delicious too. I do miss the original vegan cheese sauce for the Mac and cheese. You guys should change the Cesar Salad dressing recipe though as I was told it has canola oil. Canola oil is the worst oil, so inflammatory. But absolutely love your food so much 🙂

Hugos is my go-to place in the valley. They have great vegan, gluten free, and allergy-friendly options, without skipping the classic meat and eggs options. Its a great place to go with a group that has mixed dietary restrictions where everyone can find something to eat!Im probably here once or twice a month and I find new things to try often. I had previously given this restaurant a 5-star review, but I am changing it to 1 star after my recent experience. I ordered a steak that was tough and had a lot of white skin inside. It was the worst steak I have ever eaten. I reported this to the hostess, who said she would report it to the manager. However, I was still charged full price for the steak, and no one seemed to care that I was unhappy.I believe that restaurants should have more respect for their paying customers. If a customer is unhappy with their meal, they should be given the courtesy of an explanation and some kind of compensation, such as a gift card or discount. In my case, I would have been happy with a simple apology.I hope that my review will help this restaurant to understand the importance of customer satisfaction. If they want to keep their customers coming back, they need to be more responsive to complaints and make sure that their food is of high quality.

This Hugos has been a social and business lunch go-to destination for me for over 10 years. There is a wide variety of healthy food and it is very easy and convenient to get to from the freeway. Parking in the lot is limited, however, and you may find yourself going down the street quite a ways to get a place to park. I always find their servers to be friendly and helpful.

First time stopping in and was surprised it was what I had been looking for! They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner but I’ll comment on what I tried. FRESH OJ was perfection in a large glass. Cali Benedict was fantastic with vegan bacon, hollandaise sauce was tasty! Although next time I will get the regular bacon. I got it as a side order, went so quick I didn’t get a picture. The rosemary potatoes are packed with flavor! The Breakfast burrito was a wheat tortilla and was a perfect portion. Not a fan of the tomato chipotle sauce but might be good for others. The caffe mocha was good after adding a little sweetener. The reason I gave 4 ⭐️ was the atmosphere from the staff seemed dim, my server didn’t appear willing to provide suggestions as a first timer. I hope my bubbly and kind character brightened my servers day at least. Regardless I’ll be back to try other items on their menu!

Their parking lot isnt very big, so thats my only slight issue, but street parking on Riverside was pretty easy and appreciate that they even have some parking on-site. Would go back and recommend.

Great place for gluten-free fare - so many options. The cinnamon buns may be the best gluten-free baked item I have ever had anywhere in the world (seems to be fried). I asked for the cinnamon glaze and the icing on the side to avoid overdoing the sugar - and the bun was even heavenly with or without them. Amazing food and so many options! We were visiting from Arizona and this was our go to place the whole week we were in California. Every morning for breakfast we would stop by and I never got tired of it or felt like I was eating the same things over again. The staff was so great and welcoming to our large group everyday and did all they could to keep my toddler entertained. Not to mention there is tons of seating and the place was very clean. Ive been going to Hugos for at least 15 years and have waited for a table many times because their food was always excellent and well worth the wait. Ive had many great meals here, but my last 2 visits have been disappointing.The food came out cold. Like it had been sitting pre-made. Not fresh at all. The steamed vegetables were old. They didnt even bother to trim the browning bits of the cauliflower or to peel the carrots. Did they purchase their produce at the 99 cent store? My bill came out to $70 for two people for lunch. I tipped a full 15% BEFORE we got our meal because that was the set-up. Our waitress only came around once. After she cleared our plates, she didnt bother to check if we needed anything else. We were finishing our poorly made expensive cocktails. Sadly, I will not be returning a 3rd time to spend my hard earned money for mediocre food and service.

Arrived at 12:30 on Saturday and the wait was only bout 15 minutes to get a table. Received the drinks rapidly and the ordering was fine. You will need your smartphone to get the menu online. Very well laid out menu with labels for food daily free, gluten free, gluten free modification possible, nut allergy, soy free, vegan and vegetarian. Whenever I go to a restaurant, I need to be careful that I avoid wheat, onion and other certain foods to prevent stomach pains and an unmentionable aftermath. The problem with wheat is that it is hidden in many foods. Lets just say, I get sick often and have limited the restaurants that I go to in Los Angeles. Yet, there are gems in town. Hugos is one of them. Their entire menu is marked whether the food is gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. Not only can I go there and feel confident in my food choices, but my vegetarian boyfriend can go as well and not have to inundate the waitress with our long list of questions about whats in the food.Having said all that, their food is excellent. This restaurant is great. Im lactose intalerant and my mom is vegan with a nut allergy. When we go out normally both of us have to read the menu in great detail to find some thing that we can eat and wont make us sick. Or sick to something we know is safe.But, we didnt have to worry about it. The menu was very clearly marked and the employees were extremely helpful. Even asking us before we ordered if we had any diet restrictions. The waitress double checked on everything to make sure we could actually eat what we were ordering.I greatly appreciate it and will happily come back here again.

The blueberry pancakes on the last visit were so fluffy and tasty. My constant favorite is the Cuban Sandwich, and it is difficult for me to order anything else - I like it that much. We come to Hugos whenever we are in the area. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, Hugos is always excellent. Always. You can order anything from the menu, or if you want something custom, just ask, and they will make it! I love the stir Fry they create, it is so fresh, and cooked so the vegetables still have some crunch. The green enchiladas are a constant favorite too. For breakfast the pancakes they make are huge and so tasty. The quality of the ingredients always shows. THis place is not cheap, and it is worth every nickel. The parking can be tough. Not only was the food awesome, along with the service but overall kindness wins at Hugo’s. We live in Arizona and we were passing through and stopped to eat, my husband accidentally left his Invisalign aligners on the table and off we went. The waitstaff was trained so well they didn’t through them away and we were able to retrieve them saving ourselves hundreds of dollars! They agree doing a great job with covid. They now have inside dining, went for brunch last Saturday. The tables are very spaced out and you have a corner of the restaurant to yourself. From the mushy and over cooked breakfast salad to the uninspired cinnamon French toast. This is not somewhere I would recommend anyone brunch. Too bad too. I ordered the shepherd’s pie, and frankly, it was a shame it was called “shepherd’s pie”. The meat was cut in chunks rather than ground, and there were large pieces of broccoli interspersed. It also did not have the typical browning on top, and was covered in an unnecessary layer of parmesan cheese. Please re-name this dish so as not to mislead customers, or redo/remove it entirely. Finally, I find the pricing to be quite high for food that is pretty mediocre all around (I also had the mac and cheese on an earlier occasion). The saving grace for this restaurant is that they are accommodating to various dietary needs. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend Hugo’s.

Hugos is my go to place to meet friends, colleagues and even clients. I trust it to be consistent with the amazing flavors that never fail to impress my friends. Like the 4 cheese Mac and Cheese that btw you can order vegan or gluten free. They also have gluten free tamales, bread and their menu features many different choices for either foodies, or people with allergies like myself. The restaurant opens until 10pm, serves many different kinds of beer, wine, healthy juices and cocktails. Their soups are so so, often watery, but if I were to order one, I would definitely go with the tomato soup. Its delicious! Had breakfast at Hugos today and it was delicious. I had a make your own egg scramble and I think I had my entire days portion of vegetables in one meal! It also came with tumeric rice which was really tasty. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was outstanding as well. Vegans, be cautious! I went to this restaurant today for the first time with my boyfriend. I was initially impressed with the wide selection of vegan options. Before taking my order, the waitress asked if I had any dietary restrictions, and I told her I will be placing a vegan order. I ordered the tofu scramble. She asked if I wanted eggs or a scramble, and I said “scramble” (I guess she had forgot I had said I wanted my order vegan). When the dish arrived, the busboy/staff placing it said “scramble.” But when I bit into it, it tasted VERY egglike and the waitress confirmed it was actually eggs when I flagged her down. To her credit she apologized and comped the order, but this still should not have happened. When I asked her what had happened to cause the incident, she said she had flagged the order as “vegan” in their system but the cooks “must have not been paying attention” or “forgot” (don’t remember what she said exactly). Anyways, I don’t want to discourage vegans from eating here because they have an impressive menu with lots of options, but learn from my experience and ask again when they bring your food as they cannot be 100% trusted to get it right apparently. I understand accidents happen but some people have serious allergies and it’s wrong to market yourself as vegan friendly and fail to catch these kind of errors before the food gets to the table.

Hearing and reading good things about this restaurant, I highly recommended this restaurant for a celiac-intolerant friend who recently moved down the street to this location. Unfortunately, we were both left disappointed and hungry.We ordered a GF burger w the toppings, chimichurri steak (medium rare), and churros. The entrees left a lot to be desired. Her GF burger was supposed to be with fingerling potatoes (they were missing). The burger itself was terribly bland. My steak was not medium rare and the GF fries that I ordered were overcooked. Dry and crunchy, like sticks of potato chips with too much seasoning. Might I add I had no utensils so I had to eat my steak by hand? Hugos has a lot going for it. Its a one of a kind place in the way it offers vegetarian and vegan options of several dishes along side fully vegan dishes. The menu is a bit extensive which can make ordering a process, but the food is definitely worth a visit. Its on the pricier side (entrees are $15-25) but the menu has several unique dishes that Ive never seen anywhere else. Hugos service is a strong point for the restaurant, wait staff is kind and professional and food comes out quickly. Also has a dedicated customer parking lot right next to the restaurant. All in all, I enjoyed my experience at Hugos but given the price tag, this wouldnt be a usual place for me. That said, I will be eating there again soon.

Gosh this place has so much potential but just doesnt live up to expectations as much as it should! From browsing the menu I was excited to grab a late lunch here. They have a private lot, covered patio seating, plenty of seating at that. The menu is actually quite large - online they dont provide all the make your own options (pasta, bowl, omelette, etc). I went with fried pickles for the appetizer (good, not amazing, the bbq sauce for dip was strange, ranch was good) and the Cuban sandwich, vegan (quite underwhelming - tofu was fine, overall as a sandwich the flavor was lacking). My partner had a smoothie was just okay (the one with chai tea, flavors didnt go together so well) and the vegan mac n cheese, again just okay. Our friend also had a meets expectations review of his sandwich. Its not that anything is bad per se, it just doesnt impress enough to return. My wife has Celiac Disease, so it was fantastic to eat at a place where most of their Menu comes Gluten-free. The best buttermilk pancakes Ive had in a looong time. Its a little pricey, for instance, you cant add eggs and bacon to a meal for a couple bucks, you have to order the eggs and bacon for another 12 dollars. Its a bit pricey, but one of my closest friends and ex-coworker had once told me.. to eat healthy, you got to spend a bit more. He is right. This place is swanging. They do have one sorta meat dish, and when someone orders it... they make a big alert.. i think they either ring a bell or do something. As a carnivore, I did enjoy eating here. Hugos is my number one favorite restaurant in the San Fernando Valley! Quality of the food is absolutely top notch. Pastas are freshly made; there is quite a variety of creative offerings with a particularly excellent breakfast/brunch menu and one of the most carefully accurate preparers of safe foods for people with gluten allergies, vegans, vegetarians & people who need to avoid dairy products. Though they have a limited steak menu (aged, hanging steaks; only a couple of dishes with these on the menu) their hamburger meat is about as high a quality as youll find. Alcoholic beverages are limited to beer, wine, soju (sp?) and a low alcohol vodka, but there are some mixed drinks made with these as well as a modest, but tastefully chosen, variety of beers, ales & wines, both red & white. The service can vary but is typically good to excellent. I go to Hugos more often than any other restaurant in my area!!! I love this place!!!

This is the restaurant we visit most often. Their menu is expansive. I have celiac disease and can eat almost every single thing in the menu. Their food tastes fresh and full of flavor. I have only tried a couple of things I didnt like, and Ive probably been to this restaurant around 50 times. The French toast is out of this world. By far the best french toast Ive ever had, GF or not. Other faves are the Cuban sandwich, pasta mama, almond energy pancakes, tamales, sticky buns, mac and cheese, and a million and a half others I cant think of right now. One star not because of the food but the host and check in as it is also a part of the whole restaurant experience and sets up the tone. Raining hard outside, empty restaurant as the photo shows, dying for a cup of coffee, no one else is waiting, been coming here for years. I get that when it is busy that a restaurant implements that every member of your party must be present before they can sit you and I am happy to abide by that rule but not when the rule only applies to certain people and not to all. I thought it was weird that this happened to me because my group (party of 3) meets here a lot and my other friend always gets seated at the table even when the rest of us are late so I am really shocked that when I arrived with no wait that I was asked to wait before I can be seated. I really did not want to ruin my morning so I complied even though I wanted to just walk out and go to another restaurant but here is the thing that prompted me to post this review, there is a family next to us with only half of their party present and got seated now that is just plain unfair! I am sad but I think time for me to find another restaurant for breakfast who treats people fairly. I hope my story can warn people and perhaps save them from ruining their beautiful morning.

Great for kids on weekends, but dont bring your child during the week. On the weekends, this place is crawling with kids and everyone is super friendly. Then one day I brought my 14 month old and another friend for lunch during the week and I couldnt believe what happened. I pulled out a 2-inch by 2-inch tupperware of PB&J cut into 1/2 inch cubes for my kid who was still transitioning to solid food. I was told by my waiter that I couldnt bring any food for my child and that Id have to order him a kids meal. The bread is always so hard too, and the fries are cold. My boss got the salad and her chicken was disgusting, even for her. They did fix it and gave her new chicken, but she had finished her salad already. My coworker loves the beet salad. They are being eco friendly with paper straws now, but the straws get gross and mushy fast, so just ask for no straw. Famous old people love it here. Its expensive.
