I had the simple form but had a lot to input this year. But they were super super knowledgeable and walked me through everything. The guy who helped me was fantastic. It took about less than an hour. I highly suggest them.

The very friendly staff are very attentive to my needs. I have been going there for 5 years or so and Sue has been my agent every year. My son also goes and also uses Sue. I drop off. Sue calls me with any questions. I stop by that is convenient for me. I sign on the dotted line and im done! Check goes right into my checking account. No worries and they have great hours.

Sarah Iltis retired, she had been doing my taxes forever. She recommended Silvia Contreras and I was a little nervous. But Silvia was great, efficient, and quick. I am happy with her as my new tax accountant!

This was my second year of superb, friendly, and very knowledgable service from Sarah Iltis at the Fairview location in Goleta. Shes a complete professional, and although my taxes are somewhat complicated, I know shes done them perfectly, despite all the new regulations. Everyone at this H&R Block has been courteous, prompt, and pleasant; Sarah even goes beyond that standard by her warmth and reassurance at a difficult time.

Sarah is a consummate professional in tax preparation. She asks the questions I never would have thought about in order to help me minimize my tax burden. At the same time, she advises me where to draw the line with possible deductions. I appreciate her experience and guidance in helping me for my second straight year.

Never going back again. Have been going here for years because I don’t feel comfortable using a app for my taxes and expect that if I pay a professional to do my taxes I can sleep easy knowing they were done correctly. I have always have been satisfied until this year. This year Mark Hubert did my taxes and seemed extremely incompetent in his work. He told me I was first tax return of the year (immediately making my confidence in him dwindle), instead of having me hit the fill signature button on the electronic pad he ask me if it was ok if he entered my signature on every document (which made me extremely uncomfortable) he continuously got up or talked across the hall to ask questions from his co worker on tax laws and functions of the program he did not understand, he couldn’t give me a solid answer as to why my return was $2000 dollars less then the previous year (even though the gentleman who did them last year at the same location showed me a projected growth chart with expected return) and to top it all of he never asked me how I would like to receive my return whether that be via direct deposit or a check in the mail.Oh, and I was never educated on double check or any other offers which I have been educated on in years past.Overall all, extremely disappointing. Even though I have been going here for years I would never recommend H&R Block to anyone ever again.

After a number of years now, my H&R Block advisor has become knowledgeable of my finances and financial situation. Due to that relationship, doing my taxes seems to be a relatively smooth and easy process.
