Incompetent tax consultants and poor customer service! Coretta Jones prepared incorrect tax forms that would have cost me all my refund (even made it look like I owe money) and it took her a week after our meeting to prepare these inaccurate documents. I went to a different tax office after H&R Block where they completed everything in only 15 minutes and I even received way more tax refund than I expected.

H&R, specifically this location, does everything in its power to not earn business. I’ve been to this location twice. After learning my tax pro moved, I didn’t get a response for weeks from calls and emails. When I finally got a call for supposedly the best one there, she sounded hungover and spoke to me like a was a complete burden. I’ve had my documents uploaded for weeks, they claim to have not seen them until I had to guide them to where they are. The section marked “documents”. How hard is that to see? I get that they’re busy, we’re all busy. I’m forever done with H&R.

Eddie was friendly, responsive, great with follow up. When I found out what I needed could not be handled at this office, he quickly researched and referred me to another location. Seems to show good management and training at this particular office compared to other nearby H&R locations.

My accountant Charlene is very knowledgable and professional. She asks good questions to make sure I am maximizing my return. I appreciate her honesty regarding all of the tax changes also.

Judy Kaplan is super, delightful, professional, friendly, awesome, thorough, clear, helpful and charming! Ive been going to her for several years now and I cant imagine going anywhere else, ever! Thanks for such excellent service!

Arianna Alston is prompt and very organized and makes the experience very pleasant. This was our 2 year and hope she continues. Plus H & R Block has a screen for you to see what is going on and it makes it very clear.

2nd year trying this place...I should have learned from the first time, so I guess I just have myself to blame. The Accountants are all under qualified and constantly behind schedule. Appointments mean nothing to them. The first year I sat around for about 25 min after my appointment was scheduled. This year, I made an appointment for 11:00am on Saturday, and got a call at 10:50 saying that the Accountant was a little behind. They said I could come in at 2:00pm now! Thats a little behind I guess to them. After the first time experience with them and the lack of professionalism that time, I decided to cut my losses and go see a real Tax Accountant this year.

Corretta Jones is kind, and informed. She does a good job for me, teaches me about new tax law and recommends ways for me to keep track of things to bring to her next year.

Michael was patient and kind, answering each of my questions directly (I am a bit of a financial dunce). The entire process was very quick and straight forward.
